Today wraps up a week long celebration of the women and men who make Girl Scouts great!

I am blessed to work with people who not only lead girls, but a precious few who lead and champion the cause for girls in their communities. These are our Service Unit Directors (#SUDS). They take on great responsibility to see girls and adults have the best Girl Scout experience in their communities.

Yesterday I surprised my SUDS with a pesonal thanks- showing up at their homes with some Girl Scout cheer! I was only able to catch one at home as she was preparing for camp. One was flying back to Atlanta from business, another preparing her daughter for prom, one running errands, and one as her husband describes it running around doing Girl Scouts. Lol! These women are on the move!

It’s truly an honor to serve along side these women for girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place.
