Today is Sankt Hans / Saint John’s Eve in my home country of Denmark. In Denmark we celebrate this by lighting large bonfires all over the country, typically accompanied by beer drinking and often late eating. On top of each bonfire is most often placed a model witch, because in Danmark it is believed to be the night of a witches’ meeting on the Brocken, the highest peak in the Harz Mountains, a range of wooded hills in central Germany between the rivers Weser and Elbe (Believed to be on Walpurgis Night in Sweden). Traditionally the bonfires were lit to fence of the witches, but today - when the witch catches fire - it is said to “fly to Brocken” which can be interpreted as helping the witch on her way.
Two quiet retainers with short blue hair, similar but so different? Setsuna had life handed to her on a silver platter to the point where she’s bored of life in general while Beruka had to kill from a young age just to stay alive. Absentminded vs vigilant. Both kinda keep to themselves and aren’t very emotional. Neither are easily intimidated; Beruka because she’s a desensitized hardened assassin and Setsuna because she doesn’t particularly care. They’re also socially awkward.
