Den-O rewatch, episode one! in this episode: a very unlucky boy gets stuck in a tree, is given coffee by a woman in a magic train, accidentally makes a contract with a demon by riding his bike over it, and is unwillingly conscripted into becoming a time-traveling superhero. it’s a very action-packed 23 minutes!

ugggh there’s so much I wanted to draw for this episode, I couldn’t decide. it’s a solid opening that does a great job of immediately establishing the characters with all these wonderful moments of interaction, and it’s all so good! Ryoutarou is somehow even more pathetically adorable than I remember, which I didn’t think was possible. (that poor boy, just…just let him be happy for once.) I’m definitely gonna have to draw more for this episode, something with Hana at least! I have…a lot of feelings about Hana.

I’ll try not to always be tl;dr but I’m excited to get the ball rolling, and this episode gave me lots of happy nostalgic feelings. C: it’s nice to immediately start off remembering why I loved this ridiculous show in the first place.

also: Ryoutarou’s first fight was so appropriately dorky that it was kind of incredible??

how to be less demoralized by your long project: love every inch of it. don’t get hung up on the fact that you aren’t at your favorite part in the middle or end, the one you know you’ll be working towards for 100 hours (or more).

remember what you love about the beginning.

“You made a mistake.”

@florbe-triz‘s delinquent AU is pretty neat if you ask me.

Ok everyone! This is what motivation and determination gets ya!
Here is a before pic and today’s pic of a typical run for me after work.
Same run. Same distance.
My first ever 2 mile run on 6.25.2016… versus… Today!
Consistency is key! Keep at it! Never quit. Listen, I was never fast. I was a complete noob. We all were in the beginning. Look! I didn’t jog 2min straight. Shit, I didn’t even do Jog HIIT in June 2016. I was more concerned on staying alive and breathing and not passing out. Lol …. I would jog 10-15 seconds before dying and gasping for air. But, I kept at it. I got smaller. My legs got stronger. I got faster. And, now I love to run. Tell me that June 25th, 2016, I would have laughed at you! But the joke is on me… Prove yourself wrong like I did. You have the ability. You can do anything. So get up and do it!

today was counterproductive ;-; i wrote a to-do list for today which consisted of mostly house chores and i kind of h8 myself for doing these other things only to avoid the one thing that was important and that was my design history research summaries. but hey what was cute is that my boyfriend dropped by some ink for my printer cause i ran out a few weeks ago and i really needed to print a few things for tomorrow so that was a sweet little highlight of the day c: so i ended up printing hardcopies of my readings for design history because i work better that way but my attempt in actually doing the summary was a complete flop and i failed miserably *sighs @ myselF*
