Don't Miss The Message In Kendrick Lamar's New Single
With the success of “Good Kid M.A.A.D. City” and the heavy impact of his verse on “Control,” people were very eager to hear what Kendrick had in store for his fans and rap peers. His new single “i” isn’t the aggressive and competitive natured Kendrick most people had been anticipating from the Compton native. The track produced by Rahki, is sampled from The Isley Brothers’ soul hit “That Lady.” and has more of a feel good vibe that is generally lacking in hip hop today. The intro accurately sets the mood of the track and describes where Kendrick is consciously.
This piece is top notch. Love Like, performed by Shihan on Def Poetry Jam in 2002, is comedic while still being softening to the heart. It was performed first in 2002 but is still relevant to love today. Enjoy this beautifully written and performed piece and let it take you back to a Love Like…

Travi$ Scott Ft. Young Thug & Rich Homie Quan "Mamacita" (Music Video)
Still rolling of the high praise of his most recent tape “Days Before The Rodeo” artist Travi$ Scott drops the video to popular track from the tape “Mamacita” which features the eccentric Young Thug & fellow ATL representative Rich Homie Quan. Placed in an empty bowling alley parking lot, you catch women in skeletal glow in the dark body paint, T.I. & co producer of the track Metro Boomin shooting dice, a very clean lowrider & Travi$ Scott being his typically self; ya know vibing, nodding off, eyes rolling in the back of his head amongst some assumed to be beautiful women under the face paint, check it out below.
Janelle Monae and Erykah Badu released the video to this funky ass song, rightly titled, Q.U.E.E.N., and as soon as the beat dropped my head was nodding. This will definitely be a banger this summer and a new class for BBQ’s and those infamously secret mirror dances alone in your room. The video is filled all sorts of inspiration, from the 60’s mod styled dancers to Erykah’s futuristic appearance paired with Janelle’s classic black and white look creates for a very pleasing visual.
If I’m your reflection, then baby you must be an angel Cause when the light, hits you just right, one could mistake you for a star

Kendrick Lamar "I" Music Video + "Shake It Off" Freestyle
Kendrick has released the video for his (i)nspiring single “I”, promoting self love and appreciation. The video seems to take place in a jazz club before K Dot hits the streets leading a mob of people while spitting his verse and comes to a close with Kendrick being chauffeured off into the night by the great Ron Isley. There is no official name or date for the release of Kendrick’s new album, but this video is creeping up on a million views already.
The fans have been asking “Wheres Pretty Flacko? What happened to A$AP Rocky?”, people were starting to think he was too boo’d up with Chanel Iman & concerned with fashion but Lord Flacko has returned with visuals for his aggressive new single “Multiply” where he aims shots at brands HBA & Been Trill. The video was directed by Shomi Patwary and A$AP Rocky himself, featuring the whole A$AP Mob crew & affiliates waving middle fingers at the cameras. At 2:47 theres a beat change that features an epic dance number, that is simply amazing because its done with his pants practically at mid thigh level, that takes skill. Watch below.
Flying Lotus Ft. Kendrick Lamar - "Never Catch Me"
With the release of his LP “You’re Dead!” only being days away, Flying Lotus brings us new visuals for his track “Never Catch Me” which is accompanied by the lyrical abilities of Kendrick Lamar. Director Hiro Murai, takes us to a joint funeral service being held for two young children, who souls jump right out of the casket to dance joyously to the uptempo, jazzy production of Flying Lotus. The direction for this video is very fitting to the song’s title, as the children flee from the church grounds and use the funeral hearse as a getaway vehicle.
