❛ hey . you know you broke your promise , right ? ❜ her expression is serious , reading wholly of disappointment as if the next words out of her mouth aren’t going to be her version of a joke . posture stern , nearly mimicking his , selina waits for him to remember that he was supposed to spend the afternoon with her discussing what headway he’d made with the strange plants he’d been studying . the ones that she could barely recall the names of . which is why this is important ! how is she supposed to keep the whatsamahoozit species in her brain if spock can’t even keep her in his !! … wait … maybe they were supposed to meet up tomorrow … / @logicborn
No, no, no, no! One of these things happened again.
I was reading The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and at some point it said: ‘To boldly split infinitives that no one has split before’. And of course I made a triple-backwards-salto because I saw a Star Trek reference.
Then of course there was Benedict in a Star Trek interview saying this:
(I didn’t make that one, by the way.)
And then when I went to Wikipedia to look up what a split infinitive even was (sorry, English is not my first language, yo), I saw this:
And now my head’s just going insane because this is too perfect. Splah :D
Me: I’m not sure about this new start trek movie, it seems more like an action movie which of course like the previous aus overlooks the show’s original purpose of peace and inclusion, also I’m nervous the new character will be nothing but a romantic interest while the past two movies didn’t even pass the bechdel test
John Cho: Hikaru is gay
Me: SIGN ME THE FUCK UP OPENING PREMIERE HERE I COME GONNA GET ME HEAD TO TOE IN STARFLEET GEAR GONNA BODLY FUCKING GO TO THAT MOVIE THEATRE 👌👌👌👌👌GOOD SHIT RIGHT THERE 💯💯💯💯💯 FUCKING BEAM ME UP SCOTTY
