to all muslims

You can’t say “not all feminists”, “not all muslims”, or “not all women” and then laugh/get pissy with people saying “not all men”, “not all white people”, or whoever the target of your shitty post is.

It doesn’t go both ways. You can’t defend yourself or a group and then get mad when other people do the same thing. Get over yourself and off your damn high horse.

just in case you haven’t heard, today two attacks have happened against Muslims outside of mosques. One in London, England where a white man drove over people walking out of the mosque chanting “kill all Muslims” and killed a man and injured at least 10. The other in Virginia, USA where a 17 year-old Muslim girl was assaulted with a baseball bat along with her friends before she was kidnapped and later found slain and dumped in a pond.

so at my Muslim friends, please stay safe. and at my non-Muslim friends, spread the word and get informed of the stuff that doesn’t immediately spread in your media and doesn’t get called hate crimes/terror attacks when they are.

Hi cunt women are lesser animals, with usually smaller brains, less neurons, and less synapses. That's why women rely more on instinct and emotion, rather than logic or reason. That also explains women's relative lack of intellectual accomplishments or invention over the past 3,000 years (and more). Your gender's main contributions have been singing, giving birth, cooking and cleaning, Nearly everything women have accomplished is with help from men or from a group of men. Women deserve no rights

Hi dickhead I’m feeling petty this morning so I’m gonna eviscerate this swill part by part. It seems like the concept of basic science confuses you. I’ll start by citing this article for you and provide some choice quotes. It used a heavily peer-reviewed study and the methodology was completely sound (i read the whole goddamn original work and several of its external citations).

“On average, for example, men tend to have a larger amygdala, a region associated with emotion. Such differences are small and highly influenced by the environment, yet they have still been used to paint a binary picture of the human brain,“

“Depending on whether the researchers looked at gray matter, white matter, or the diffusion tensor imaging data, between 23% and 53% of brains contained a mix of regions that fell on the male-end and female-end of the spectrum. Very few of the brains—between 0% and 8%—contained all male or all female structures.”

A list of early inventions by women (it includes elevated rail-lines, Kevlar, and the submarine telescope! the lack of patents taken out by women early on is actually because men made it illegal for a woman to hold a patent in her name until the early 1900s. those darn men, always inhibiting progress)

Notable Native American women from the past 350 years

Here’s TWO articles on the contributions of trans women in contemporary culture (the first one also includes nonbinary people, just a heads up. It seemed more relevant than many of the others tho)

You know what fuck you here’s 50 more women who did important shit

Wikipedia’s history of lesbian literature (which lists a lot of books and authors)

Tbh I do agree with you on the singing being a main contribution, just because women have nicer voices (in my opinion) and are much more likely to use their songwriting expertise to push activist and progressive agendas.

Maybe don’t come into my inbox with this shit when you don’t know what you’re talking about? Put away the 18th century medical book and take a chill pill.

Ramadan Al-Mubarak

Tomorrow is the first day of Ramadan. Which means Muslims from all over the world will start fasting. So I want to wish a Happy Ramadan to all of my fellow Muslim followers out there!

May this festivity push peace to transcend the earth,
let light brighten up the world and grow hope to every Muslim’s heart.
Happy Ramadan!

Shout out to the dumb boys who yanked my scarf off in the hallways and then laughed when I dropped all my books. Shout out to the guy who thought it was funny to go behind me during class and pull my bra strap to hear it snap then got defensive when I brought my fist out. Shout out to the guys who would say ‘that shit around your head is ugly you think you’re pretty?’ ‘let’s get married so I can see ur hair’ shout out to you because I love wearing hijab 100000x more because of you jerks

For the lesbians who have just lost all hope of ever coming out, of ever getting a girlfriend, of ever feeling safe. For the lesbians who are seeing their hopes for a happy future dwindle away. For the lesbians who are rushing to try to find a boyfriend to try to pass as straight, for the lesbians who no longer feel safe dressing and presenting the way they want to.

For the bi girls with girlfriends who are terrified about their relationships, for the bi girls with boyfriends who feel isolated, for the bi girls with datemates who don’t know where to go after this. For the out bi girls and the closeted bi girls and the bi girls in between.

For the pan girls who have never dated a girl and are afraid they’ll never be able to, for the pan girls who feel silenced and invisible and alone and afraid, for the pan girls who can’t process what’s happening.

For the sapphic woc who are in physical danger, for the Muslim sapphic woc who wear the hijab and for the Muslim sapphic woc who don’t. For the undocument sapphic woc, for their families, for their loved ones. For the black sapphics who protest and for the black sapphics who don’t. For the sapphic woc whose names are mispronounced by white Americans, for the sapphic woc who don’t speak very good English or any English at all. For the sapphic woc with immigrant parents who are worried about deportation, who are worried about hate crimes, who haven’t slept since the election was called.

You are so valuable and important and loved. You matter so much, and there are so many people who won’t stop fighting for you. You deserve so much better than this. You are worth so much more than this country can give you. It’s okay to feel sad and defeated, but please don’t feel worthless. It isn’t over and there will be so many others who will stand with you for every step from here. You are not alone, and you are so important.

More than 20,000 Muslims gathered in Canada for three days to denounce terrorism

  • More than 20,000 Muslims gathered at a three-day convention to condemn terrorism and religious extremism.
  • The 41st Jalsa Salana was held from Friday to Sunday at the International Centre in Mississauga, Canada, where Muslims from all over the country listened to guest lecturers and imams deliver speeches and sermons to promote a more peaceful world.
  • Lal Khan Malik, the national president of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama`at Canada, the organization hosting the convention, said that while religious extremists like the Islamic State have nothing to do with Islam, Ahmadi Muslims felt they were able to show a side of Islam that most Westerners don’t have an opportunity to see.
  • “Over 20,000 attendees at this convention are able to show Canadians the true and peaceful teachings of Islam,” Malik said. Read more (7/13/17)
