And I watched it simply because of the fact that Benedict Cumberbatch was in it.
It was a boring movie.
I had no idea what was going on 99.9% of the time - I didn’t even know who the bad guy was, or if they even caught him in the end. But I continued to watch the full 2 hours of it, waiting for scenes with Benedict in it.
Some of these scenes were the 0.1% that I knew what was happening - Ben had to go to some place, steal some files, and not get caught.
He had to do that twice.
He didn’t get caught.
I was pleased.
Then there was another scene where Ben comes back from stealing files and starts to punch some guy.
…That scene didn’t make much sense - but Ben punched some guy and made him bleed. Your argument is invalid.
There was a lot of shooting and dead tortured people, but you can only expect that from an MA movie.
So I can now say that I successfully wasted used-up 2 hours of my life fangirling over Benedict Cumberbatch and not understanding anything about the movie he was in.
