How fast can Buttons draw his gun? Does being nervous make him fumble with it, or has he practiced enough that it's an automatic motion?

HHhhaaaAAAA*chokes on own joke*

AHEM! He’s not as blundering as he might look. Of course he had to learn how to properly handle his weapons but he only gets slightly sloppy when he’s in direct sight and in turn, direct danger.

@lenfaz, there have been some ugly accusations flying around, to whit, that I have been breaking the Rules on my two rp blogs @asktheoriginalliam and @ask-myvindictiveside . If I may, I will herein present my plea of Not Guilty, with associated evidence.

Rule 1. You do not kill Liam Jones. You can start the fic with Liam dead, but if he is alive and the beginning, he remains alive. (Emphasis mine.)

I started the asktheoriginalliam blog with him already being dead, as per his canon condition as of the Underworld arc.

Rule 2. If Liam is alive in the fic, then he must be present,  he must have an important role and interactions. He must also be happy (or end up happy.) He should be with someone (Ruby, Elsa, Tink, OC, take your pick) and be the supportive yet teasing brother for Killian.

I have gone above and beyond with this one. He isn’t even alive and still gets to be all of those things, either now or by the end of the AU week. Note that the Rule here includes room for him not being perfectly happy now as long as he ends up happy. And that is the plan. In fact, if things keep going the way they are going, he will even be with someone.

Addendum 1. If Liam is dead in the fic, you must state so within the first 5 lines of the fic. Otherwise I think he’s alive and then I get my heart broken.

My defense for this comes directly from my first post, the third sentence. “I always knew Killian would make a great captain if he ever got the chance, and I was right, but three hundred years dead and I’m still not used to not being the captain.”

Addendum 2. Let’s avoid detailed descriptions of Liam’s death or the pain it caused or all that; we don’t need salt added to the wound (or put a warning for this poor heart)

I haven’t described Liam’s death at all, or the pain it caused Killian. There are other things causing Killian and Liam pain at the moment, but Liam’s death hasn’t come up at all.

Addendum 3. Do you really have to kill him? Think about it? Why would you have precious cupcake Liam Jones dead?

Sadly, yes. I do have to have him dead. Having him reappear in an Underworld flashback did call for that. I do not have him dead lightly or unnecessarily.

Addendum 4. You can and will treat Liam Jones as Killian’s true love.

I have not done so explicitly, but absolutely they are true love.

Addendum 5. All fics involving Bartender Liam Jones are now required to have a smut scene being written (in the level of detail you feel comfortable with), preferably over the counter.

This is a canon rp blog, so I am limited to ABC levels of smut, but I could see something implied happening before the week is over.

The Defense rests.

Fanfiction rules, Lena edition

Alright… I think this is important to highlight

  1. You do not kill Liam Jones in fics. You can start the fic with Liam dead, but if he is alive at the beginning, he remains alive.
  2. If Liam is alive on the fic, then he must be present, he must have an important role and interactions. He must also be happy (or end up happy). He should be with someone (Ruby, Elsa, Belle, Tink, OC, take you pick) and be the supportive yet teasing  brother for Killian.
