time to spill the beans

Madi gazed up at the man in front of her. She cocked her head to the side, assessing his features. He was tall with broad shoulders… dark brown eyes… a scar above his lip… tan skin covered in freckles…
Her eyes widened, “You’re Bellamy, aren’t you?”
Bellamy blinked back at her, confused, “How do you know my name?”
Madi shrugged, “I recognized you. From her drawings.”

Aka the one where Bellamy meets Madi before he knows Clarke is still alive.

vld cast as monsters

  • So Keith’s a witch
    • “Not a warlock, you dumbass, a witch. I don’t need entrails to actually do things, read a book for fucks sake.”
    • In case you didn’t notice, he gets all miffed about the comparison
  • Allura’s a sorceress
    • The main difference is Keith basically needs a spell book (Lance calls it his cookbook, since he never really ‘casts’ things, just bakes potions)
    • Allura doesn’t need a book, but she does have to say enchantments
  • Shiro’s a zombie
    • His family adopted Keith
    • Then a few years later he died
    • Keith went all witchy tying to get him back.
      • Obviously, Mr. and Mrs. Shirogane flipped but, eh, they got their son back so no biggie
    • TBH tho Shiro’s lost his arm so many time’s now that Keith’s given up on sewing a new one on him and just got him a prosthetic
  • Hunks a werewolf, comes from big family of them
  • Shay and her brother are were’s, too, but they were Turned, not born
    • Hunk’s family (nobles) don’t give a crap about all that
    • So they took Rax and Shay in when they could
  • Coran’s a seer
    • He’s prophetic and can actually tell what’s going on past all the illusions and glamour thrown around
    • Save for that, Coran’s normal
    • He met Alfor a little after Allura’s mom died and they kind of hit it off
      • He’s pretty much her second dad
  • Lance is mer
    • No, they don’t have tails
      • they evolved from that eons ago, duh
      • They just control water and have gills, so they move the currents underwater to swim
    • His family lives by the beach near campus so everyone visits often
      • It’s funny cause Allura and Lance’s twin often try and see who can bewitch more people during parties
        • It’s crazy and Coran nearly dies every time
  • Matt’s a ghost
    • He didn’t die, he’s just in a coma, has been in one for a year or so now
    • He hangs out everyone since…
    • …Well…
    • …Let’s just say Keith done fucked up
    • So now Matt’s tied to the college campus!
    • And he can’t leave whatsoever!
    • Great, huh?
      • “Keith, what the fuCK?!!!”
  • Speaking of college, everyone’s in the same fraternity … sorority … thing ..
    • Well, there’s no gender separation
    • So it’s just everyone in the same building
      • As they try not to kill each other and
        • Or blow up the entire campus
  • So one of the most annoying things they all have to deal with is Pidge
  • Kinda
    • So, Pidge is human and doesn’t know about the supernatural
      • Obviously
    • But because Pidge is mortal, they can’t find out about, well, everything
    • But they kinda did?
    • Oops
  • Anyways, it all started when Hunk and Lance brought Pidge home for a project
    • And Matt flipped his shit
      • “…Huh, now that you mention it, she does kind of look like you.”
    • So of course now everything is awkward
    • Hunk is all careful around Pidge, never really talking about his dorm and shit
    • Lance honestly didn’t change cause he’s an awesome liar
      • Siblings + blackmail = a 100% guarantee he won’t spill the beans
      • But Pidge will just suddenly look at him, all judgmental and stuff and he’s just like
      • Sweating bullets, like, what the fUCk Hunk how do you deal with this??
      • “I’m feeling something?? is this guilt??? why do I feel guilt?!?!?!”
    • Then there’s Allura and Shiro, who happen to be in a poly relationship with Matt as of second semester
    • One time Shiro almost spills the beans
      • “Honestly, your nothing like your broth - brochure! ….You’re nothing like your brochure?”
      • “…Thank you?”
      • *Allura screaming in the bg*
    • Eventually they all get over it and Pidge is allowed back in the dorm
      • Cause, ya know, they kicked them out for a bit
        • “This place is awesome! How do you apply?”
        • “………. Uh, I don’t really know, Hunk, uh … Lance?”
        • “Ya know, Hunk’d know more about it. He’s the one that got Shay and Rax in.”
        • “What?! I … RAX! Come explain?”
        • “…..fuck.”
    • And now Pidge just frequents the place
    • Sure, there’s weird things going on every other second
      • Like that one closet that Keith won’t let anyone into
      • Or when Shay and Rax get all crabby at random times of the month
      • Or like people including non existent entities in on conversations
      • Or perhaps those moments when random things start to move
      • “… Why did that mug just … ??? … you know what? Fuck it. Hunk! Come here, I wanna blow shit up!”
    • Everyone manages to keep them in the dark for a whole six months
    • It’s a big project, just keeping Pidge from figuring things out
      • The main problem is because they’re fucking smart and don’t believe in coincidences
        • “No, Pidge, that glass didn’t move. Are you feeling okay?”
        • “No, Pidge, you didn’t just see Allura jump from the second story down without breaking a leg.”
        • “No, Pidge, Keith just really likes his book. Okay. He really likes his book.”
          • “…Is it some kinda kink?”
          • “…Sure. Yeah, let’s go with that.”
            • “Lance, why the fuck does Pidge think I have a fucking book kink?!!”
    • Allura casts a few masking spells and Keith manages to brew a few sealing potions for certain … areas of the dorm
      • But Pidge is sneaky
      • Not to mention immune to Wolfsbane
        • “What the literal fUCK?”
        • “Come on, it can’t be that bad.”
          • Te-he, it’s that bad
            • “Wolfsbane is the basis of all things, the foundation, the - the - the … the flour in cookies!! You can’t just leave the flour out of cookies!!”
            • “…You can still make cookies without flour.”
            • “But they’ll be fucking terrible cookies!”
    • Lance smooth talks them out of a few things, too
    • Turns up the charm and Mer’s his way outta things
      • At least, he tries to
      • But Pidge is ace
      • They don’t feel sexual attraction
        • “I can’t do anything! My voice doesn’t work, my charms don’t work, hell, I could flash them and they wouldn’t react.”
        • “Oh trust me, they’d react.”
    • And now Shay and Rax have to come up with stories about all their pills
    • Hunk, the lovable jerk, doesn’t need pills
      • But he does need to explain how he can grow a full on beard in two days
        • “…Blame my mom?”
    • Coran stops doing his freaky glowing eyes thing
      • Well, he tries
      • He has a few … episodes when Pidge is around and boy
      • Those were fun to cover up
      • Turns out Pidge now thinks Coran’s big into theater and bright blue contacts
    • Even Shiro takes a few precautions
      • He re-sews his stitches nightly so they don’t fly off in the middle of Taco Tuesday
      • He drinks those disgusting potions Keith makes
        • “They keep your body healthy!”
        • “They taste like butt, Keith, like butt.”
      • He spritiz himself in perfume after Pidge notes that he “kinda smells like the earth
        • “Pfft! Smells like the earth? Yeah, that’s eau de coffin.”
        • “Matt, shut up.”
  • In the end, it’s actually Keith who finally spills their secret
    • You see … he and Lance were kind of making out
    • And Mer’s kinda … sorta … glow when they release endorphins
    • So Pidge walks into the living room unannounced and there’s Lance just
    • Sitting there
    • Glowing like a fucking angler fish
  • Covers blown just like that
  • They actually take it really well
    • “… So Lance is a mermaid?”
    • “Kinda.”
    • “And Allura’s a sorceress who’s over ten thousand years old?”
    • “Sort of.”
    • “And Shiro’s dead?”
    • “Oh definitely.”
    • “…Okay.”
  • So, yeah, Pidge now knows what’s going on around the house
  • And after a few quick spells, courtesy of Allura, they can see all the ~magic~ (rainbow, shiny, sparkly) they couldn’t before
    • That also means they can now see the fact that Keith has freaky ass veins after he brews a few potions
    • He can also see Lance’s gills
    • Oh, and the fact that Allura’s hair is fucking silver
      • “Holy shIT! ow the hell did I miss this?!!!”
        • “Uh, hello, Pidge, it’s me, Matt, you haven’t seen me in a year.”
  • But, of course, since Pidge knows now….
    • Hehehe
    • Oh boy
    • Buckle up, everyone
  • First come the questions
  • Everyone, and I mean everyone, had an hour long interrogation interview on how the hell they got away with all this shit
    • It involves lots of secrets, the occasional assassination, and  ~magic~ (rainbow, shiny, sparkly)
  • After that, Pidge pulled Shiro aside and had him explain how the fuck he’s alive
      • “So Keith … dug you up and force fed you a radioactive cockroach?”
  • Then comes Lance’s weird ass explanation of his powers
    • “Let’s see, I can make myself seem beautiful, though I already am~~~, I can breathe underwater, I can force involuntary drownings-”
    • “WHAT?!”
    • “-I can pitch my voice up to a C9, which is awesome cause it’s not even on the keyboard, and …. oh! And I can make people fall in love with me! That one’s fun.”
      • Which then, of course, leads to the awkward explanation of how he and Keith got together
        • “So, let me get this straight, you had a crush on him and he had a crush on you.”
        • “Yup.”
        • “But neither of you knew so Keith gave you a love potion, which then spurred you into pulling your charms and forcing him to fall in love with you.”
        • “Uh-huh.”
        • “And then he thought you didn’t like him so he voodoo’d you both?”
        • “Yup.”
        • “And now you’re technically soulmates with bound hearts?”
        • “Yeah … is that weird?”
        • “No, no, it’s perfectly normal - of course it’s weird, good god what the literal fuCK Keith?!”
  • They question Hunk next
    • The most they manage to get out of him as to how he does what he does it magic (~rainbow, shiny, sparkly~)
    • Shay and Rax don’t fair well, either
      • “I think I’d be more concerned about turning into an over glorified Chihuahua rather than exactly how it happens.”
      • “Speak for yourself. I always thought of myself as a Shih Tzu.”
  • Pidge tried with Allura but she dove right into runes and spells and they just zoned her out after fifteen minutes
  • Keith didn’t fair well either
    • “Why are you purple again?”
    • “…It’s an after effect.”
  • All in all:
    • Everyone is crazy
    • Allura and Lance blow up half of campus trying to make magical lush products
      • “Too much bomb, not enough bath.”
      • “Shut UP, Lance.”
    • Keith raised the dead
    • Again
    • Hunk accidentally runs around campus as both a wolf and a very, very naked man in the same night
      • Pidge was chasing after him with a net
    • Shay and Rax convince everyone to play spin the bottle and it ends with Keith and Lance actively making out in the corner while Shiro strips
    • Matt has managed to accidentally get kids ‘expelled’ ten different times due to his inadvertent need to poltergeist
    • Coran sees the future twice in one day and each time it included chicken nuggets, a thong, and one of Shiro’s detached limbs
    • They nearly destroy the world five times and save it once
    • That involved ketchup, a fourth wall break, and a klance fanfic written by Shay and Pidge

Promise of New Life

Characters: Reader (Y/N), Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins (mentioned)

Pairing: Jensen x reader

Warnings: fluffy fluff, a tiny bit of angst and another one that is a spoiler so check the tags.

Wordcount: 1400ish

A/N: So this was a one shot that got another part and then you guys wanted more so a third part. This one is the fourth and it will be the last one for sure.

Thanks to the my annoying, but still amazing lil sis @mysupernaturalfics for being my beta

Y/N chewed her lip nervously. Everything had happened so fast and it just kept going faster. Within the past year, she had confessed her feelings for Jensen in a drunken haze. He had kissed her the following morning and 6 months later she owned a house in Austin with him. 10 months after their first kiss, Jensen had asked Y/N to marry him to which she had said yes. The wedding had taken place among their closest friends the same afternoon.

Y/N loved Jensen dearly and she did not regret a thing that had happened between the two of them. The speed however meant she had never gotten a chance to talk to him about the things normal couples talk about before they get married. Hell, Y/N hadn’t even gotten to talk to Jensen about much after the wedding, since the two of them hadn’t been able to keep their hands off each other for the two months his hiatus later. That exact lack of self control around each other had been what had landed her in this situation in the first place. She knew that and still she didn’t regret a thing. Y/N loved Jensen more and more with each passing day, even if she didn’t think it possible. She loved the way his hands and lips felt against her skin and the way his muscles flexed under her caresses. He was all she had ever wanted and so much more. She couldn’t regret anything that had to do with him. Not that her new situation was a regret, more a concern that she wasn’t sure how to approach Jensen about.

A/N: I’ve been listening to a lot of Twenty Pilots lately… Don’t know why that was important but… Anyway, I hope y'all like this one! I will really try to post a lot more. Love you guys!

To be blunt, having a twin sucked ass. Well, with your experience it did. At least you were the older one, which had to count for something. Ok so there was a two minute difference between the two of you, but you used the leverage when you could.

Reggie was always a little asshole, even when the both of you were kids. He always stole your toys out of your hands claiming they were his. And he was the perfect golden boy in your parents eyes. His arrogance only sky rocketed with their parental encouragements.

He was always very popular in school. Had the coolest friends, was part of all the sports teams, and when he came of age, dated the prettiest girls. You on the other hand were always different.

You preferred reading and staying indoors rather than playing with everyone else. Of course your parents still forced you to try out for sports, (you soon enough became partial towards softball.)

Your stupid brother and his rather loud reputation never meant well for you. Everyone knew he had twin, but never bothered to really get to know you, always assuming you were like your brother.

Nonetheless, writing was your specialty. You always had a way with words. You knew from an early age you wanted to major in some sort of English profession, whether it be teaching it or writing it. In fact, that’s how you ended up meeting your current boyfriend Jughead Jones.

At first he was skeptical of you, but once the both of you clicked, it was one of the best things to happen to both of you. Thinking back on the whole start of it all always brought a smile to your face.

“Ok girls, I’ll see you guys next practice.” You had hollered over to your teammates before swinging your backpack over your shoulder as they all shouted their own farewells. You left the school grounds and decided to go to Pop’s. One, because their food was amazing and two, you were hoping you could get some work done in the usually peaceful setting.

You made the effort to walk over there even though your sore limbs protested greatly. Once you got in to the beloved Diner, you went up to the counter and ordered your usual before going to find a seat.

As you walked through the small building, your eyes locked with stormy blue ones for a few short seconds. And in that short amount of time you were intrigued. He watched you with a weary stance, as if he were mapping out your every move before you executed it.

You’d seen him before. Jughead Jones, he was in your English class. But you never talked, just silently drifted off into the lesson given that day. With a split second thought you decided to approach him as you waited for your food.

“Hi.” You said hesitantly, immediately beating yourself up on the inside for making a fool out of your self for coming over. Hi? Really, that’s all you could come up with? You reprimanded as you stayed silent and watched him.

Of course all that had happened in a moments thought and he actually replied quickly. “Hi.” He said with an unsure look. You looked around and noticed he had a laptop out that he was typing in, taking up your interest you decided to try and make conversation out of it. “What are you doing?” You asked as you nodded over at his device.

He looked to see what you were referring with a quickly glance and replied with a short worded answer. “Writing.” You grinned, you had a passion for the subject. Deciding to trust your gut, you sit yourself in front of him and smile brightly. “What are you writing about?” You asked. He still looked unsure of you, although, these types of looks weren’t unusual when you met new people. Mostly because Reggie and his erratic behavior met them first.

"Why do you want to know?“ He asked with an eyebrow raised. “Oh, I love writing. I hope to have a career to do with the subject one day.” You answered as you messed with your fingers over the table.

"Hm.“ He said in thought. “What?” You asked. He shrugged. “I don’t know, I guess I just figured that the twin sister of the oh so famous Reggie Mantle would be more.. well, Reggie-like.” “Well, I play softball if that’s what you mean. But otherwise I’ve always been the more soft spoken one I guess. My brother is just a real pain in my ass all the time.” You huffed as you crossed your arms.

"Interesting.“ He looked at you for a few seconds, considering whether he could trust you. He smiled when he saw the genuine curiosity in your eyes. "Well if you must know, I’m writing a novel.” “That’s awesome! About what?” You asked. “Riverdale.” “Well that was descriptive.” You retorted as he cracked a grin.

Your food finally came out at that time, your fries looked exceptionally delicious. “Wanna share?” To which he grinned.

That encounter alone sparked on many more encounters after that. After meeting up 5 more times after that first one, he asked you out. You obviously hid it from your brother, neither of you could even imagine the torment that would come.

The both of you had been together for a little over 6 months now. A whole summer had passed and the two of you were still going strong. When sophomore year started, softball started again too.

He always went to your games and was the cute supportive boyfriend. Whenever you made a home run he was always right there for you. And it wasn’t like your brother ever went to your games so you never had to worry.

When you had started dating Jughead, his three other friends adopted you in their group and they were all for your secret relationship, never bringing it up when Reggie was around. Archie came close a couple times to spilling the beans but Betty and Veronica usually kept him in check.

It was a particularly sunny day when another softball game had taken place. It was the final game of the season, which meant your parents were obligated to come too. However, this meant they were forcing Reggie to be “supportive” of his sister. Of course Jughead had come to watch.

You were the best pitcher on the team so that was the position assigned on the field for you. Before you ran out with your teammates, you gave Jughead a quick kiss, promising to see him afterwards. You didn’t realize your brother had come to your game until your eyes had met when you made it to the pitchers mound.

He smirked but applauded with everyone else, cheering you on. The first batter on the other team made it to the plate and hit the bat against the ground a couple of times before getting into position. You smirked and readied your arm before pitching.

The game lasted a couple of hours, your team winning by a home run (that you had made). Your entire team was hollering as was the crowd. Your parents told you they were proud of you and that’s when you noticed Reggie was missing.

"Hey, where Reg?“ You asked your parents. Your mom wasn’t paying attention to you as she typed away on her phone. "He went to talk to someone I think.” Your dad said before leading his wife away to the car.

You shrugged before going to find your boyfriend. When you found him, you realized he wasn’t alone, Reggie was with him. “Oh god.” You muttered under your breath as you approached them.

“Oh, hey sis. Good job on your game.” He said before continuing his malicious staring at Jughead. “Reggie, what are you doing?” You asked. He turned to you again. “Just finding my answers from this little freak here.” He turned back to Jughead who only looked at him with a pissed stare.

"So, are you gonna answer my question? It was you who killed Blossom huh?“ "I didn’t.” Jug spat. “What’s it to you anyway Reggie? Just leave him alone.” You said as your eyes met Jughead’s a couple times. “Because my coach has been non-stop breathing down my neck thinking it was me! I figured I can try to catch the person who did it so he’d leave me alone. And I bet it was him.” Reggie stayed as he looked at Jughead.

"Reggie stop. Leave Jughead alone, he didn’t do anything.“ You said as you tried to shove Reggie away from him. "Oh, so you’re friends and with the little freak. Wouldn’t put it past you, you’ve always been weird. You know, I wonder if it was you that killed him.” He said. Your jaw dropped.

“What the hell Reggie. Are you really accusing me of murder!? Murder Reggie, that’s insane. And besides, you know I was at an early softball practice on July 4th. And Jughead and I met up right after to hang out so why don’t you take your stupid accusations somewhere else.” You snapped at your brother.

"Why are you protecting him? This little geek is just a stupid nobody that nobody likes.“ He growled. "I like him! Reggie, he’s sweet, and funny, and caring… and all the things you aren’t!” He stopped and stared at you analyzing your words carefully.

"Wait… are you two… oh no way.“ His eyes widened as he looked back and forth between the two of you. "Back off Reggie.” You spat as he his shoulders slumped and he walked off giving you one last glare before disappearing around the corner.

You grinned as you looked over to Jughead who was in shock. “Well, so much for not telling him.” He commented with a sly smirk before wrapping you in his arms and congratulating you on your win.

*on Gardienne’s birthday*
Karenn: Here, this one’s from my brother. He’s sorry he couldn’t make it.
Gardienne: Oh *unwraps it and sees a pin* Oh my God. He remembered
Ykhar: Remembered what?
Gardienne: It was like months ago. We were walking by this store, and I saw this pin in the window, and I told him it was just like one my grandmother had when I was a little girl. I can’t believe he remembered
Alajéa: Oh, it’s so pretty. This must have cost him a fortune!
Ykhar: I can’t believe he did this
Ezarel: Please, Nevra? Remember when he fell in love with his last girlfriend and bought her that ridiculously expensive crystal duck?
Everyone: ………………….
Gardienne: Um, what did you just say?
Ezarel: ……..Crystal duck…..?
Gardienne: No, no, no… the, um, the… ‘love’ part?
Ezarel: *starts stuttering incoherently*
Gardienne: Oh my god…
Ezarel: *rubbing his temples* Oh, no no no no no…
Valkyon: That’s good, just keep rubbing your head. That’ll turn back time.

You didn’t know where he was and you were worried. And this wasn’t the first time either. He’d been out late for three consecutive times this past week and this night was the fourth.

Impressing Alice Cooper (Part 2 - Bughead Fanfiction)

The afternoon was just setting in as the two teenagers strolled to Betty’s house for their mother-approved hang out. Betty had been in such a chipper mood the whole day, so much more so than usual, that even Archie in all his obliviousness had noticed during lunch.

He’d nudged Betty with an elbow as she was humming to herself and jotting down newspaper article notes in her moleskin, and asked, “You’re extra cheerful today, Betty? Something good happen?”

She’d had to shake herself out of her thoughts and smiled up at Archie as Jughead chuckled softly in the background. “Oh, am I? It’s nothing huge, Jughead and I just had a nice morning together.” To Betty, her phrasing was perfectly innocent and vague enough to not elude to their team-sleuthing. However, to everyone else, her words took a completely different meaning.

Archie was half choking on his juice, while Veronica and Kevin were looking at each other with raised eyebrows and amazed expressions. Betty, who had quickly gone back to jotting down ideas for articles didn’t notice the near-explosion of questions that was about to be unleashed upon her, but luckily enough, Jughead wasn’t as preoccupied.

“Easy, guys. No hidden innuendos here. Keep eating your lunches.” Jughead said as calmly as possible, raising an eyebrow at the twin looks of disappointment on Veronica and Kevin’s faces.

At his voice, Betty looked up from her notebook. “What was that?” Archie was wiping juice off his chin while Kevin and Veronica very pointedly avoided eye contact with her. Jughead just raised an amused eyebrow and shrugged casually.

The rest of the gang had an extra close watch on Jughead and Betty for the rest of the day, something that Jughead found increasingly annoying as the day wore on. This was compounded by the fact that he and Betty spent a lot of their time together being very close; whether it was being huddled in front of a single computer, walking almost shoulder to shoulder on the way to class or sitting close enough together at desks in class that their thighs touched. This had become normal to Jughead, comforting over the last few weeks of reconnecting with Betty. To the rest of the gang, this was a sign from above that something was happening between the two. Jughead had to hear insufferable whisperings from Veronica and Kevin, and feel ridiculous glares from Archie for the remainder of school, and by the time he and Betty were able to escape the confines of the school to walk home, he almost ran out the gate.

Betty was being drugged behind a rushing Jughead, as soon as the bell had rung. “Juggie. Juggie! Where’s the fire?” She was half-laughing as she jogged behind him, until he had enough sense to calm down and slow to a more normal pace.

He released her wrist and rubbed the back of his neck self-consciously, and kicked his boot over the pavement as he walked. “Sorry, Bets. The guys have just been getting to me all day.”

She shot him a confused look, straightening her backpack on her slim shoulders. “About?”

Jughead looked her in the eyes for a moment, and saw nothing there but pure curiosity. “You have no idea?”

Frowning at missing what was apparently important information, Betty shook her head firmly. “I really don’t. What’s going on Jug?”

Jughead sighed, almost glad for her ignorance, because the last way he wanted Betty to find out that he was almost certainly in love with her, was through their mutual friends gossiping about it to her. However, it was only a matter of time before Veronica spilled the beans, and Jughead needed to beat her to that punch. “I’ll tell you when we’re at your house with food and homework stretched in front of us, Bets. Promise.”

She smiled at him good-naturedly before a look of mischief crossed her face. “You know what my mother detests, Juggie?” There were a million answers to this question, so he simply shrugged and let her continue. “Food and boys, with the exception of Kevin because I suppose she’s determined that he’s safe, in my room.”

He looked at her quizzically, not entirely sure where she was going with this train of thought but getting unintentionally nervous anyway.

“She’s not gonna be home ‘til late, and my Dad’s away. I say we set up camp in my room and make all kinds of food. I feel like being at least a little rebellious today.” She smiled so genuinely that Jughead couldn’t in good conscience say no.

Instead he smiled back and said, “To hell with overload Cooper, let’s do this hang out properly.”

That’s how, an hour after getting home Jughead and Betty were set up on her bed with a veritable mountain of food between them. Popcorn, sandwiches, brownies and all kinds of chips were piled on a platter. Jughead was currently quizzing Betty on past presidents while throwing popcorn for her to catch in her mouth in between questions. If she caught the popcorn, the quiz questions got easier, if she missed, they got harder. And despite having missed 10 pieces in a row, Betty was still answering every question correctly.

Jughead gently threw the eleventh piece of popcorn towards Betty, which she missed again. “How am I so bad at this, Juggie?” She whined, resting her elbows on her crossed legs and looking dejected. Her pout was so sweet that Jughead felt an immediate impulse to kiss her, one that was so strong he had to dig his fingers into the material of his jeans to stop himself from moving.

Trying his best to be nonchalant and easy-going, Jughead cleared his throat. “It’s just practise, Bets. I’ve got many years and hundreds of pieces of popcorn up on you.” To illustrate, Jughead threw a piece in the air and caught it in his mouth effortlessly. Betty attempted to do the same trick a few more times before she finally slumped against her headboard, defeated and slightly salty.

“Okay, no more popcorn throwing.” Jughead smirked before nodding his consent. “What were you gonna tell me when we were walking home? You said you’d tell me once we were settled.”

All of the sudden Jugheads stomach was flipping and his heartbeat was drumming like a mockingbirds wings in his ribcage. He hadn’t expected her to remember; he hadn’t expected her to bring it up. He thought he had some more time to plan and figure his wording out. “Oh, that.

Betty laughed at his horror stricken expression, “Yes, that. C’mon Jug. What’s got your goat?”

He couldn’t think of a way to divert the blonde; not a single plan came to mind. So with a heavy heart, he decided to tell her the truth and let whatever happens, happen. “Veronica and Kevin have a new ship.”
Betty giggled, smiling at the familiarity of the duo’s antics. “Of course they do. Who is the lucky pair this time?”
Jughead rubbed the back of his neck roughly and took a breath. “Don’t laugh.”

It was Betty’s turn to look nervous, confusion making her eyebrows lower. “Oh, Jug. They’re shipping you with someone?” She scooted over next to him and rubbed her hand on his thigh gently, trying to comfort him. “No wonder you’ve been so on edge today.” The pained look in Jughead’s eyes made her continue. “Don’t worry, Juggie. I’ll sort it out. I’ll have a chat to Veronica and Kevin.” He, if it was possible, looked even more pained, and Betty wrapped her arms around him in a quick hug. “Oh, Jug, don’t look so worried. Talk to me.”

He took a deep breath, trying to steady his thumping heart and not focus on Betty’s soft fingers rubbing gently into his back. “They’re shipping you and I, Bets.”

Abruptly, Betty sat back and looked at Jughead directly. After a moment of silence she muttered an, “Oh.”

Awkward quiet filled the room, and Jughead waited for her to break it. He could see gears turning in her mind, but she wasn’t voicing anything, something that was very unlike Betty. After a few minutes of quiet, Jughead piped up. “Bets, Betty, you alright?”

She snapped out of her daze quickly, “Oh, yes, yeah, I’m fine. I’m sorry, Jug. This is all my fault. I’ll talk to them. They shouldn’t start rumours about you like that.” Betty looked so apologetic, so sincere that he had no choice but to come clean. You couldn’t look at those eyes and lie.

“That’s not why I was annoyed.”

For all the time that the two of them were on the same page, today Betty was completely on another wavelength. “I know that I’m no Cheryl, but that’s sort of mean, Juggie.”

He had no idea how she had jumped to that conclusion, the completely wrong conclusion, so quickly. “Oh, Bets, no. God, no. You could do so much better than me. I’m completely lucky that you even deign to hang out with me, and you’re so far above Cheryl that I can’t even see her when you’re in the room. Hell. You’re gorgeous, Bets.” He finished his rant, his eyes imploring her to believe him, while his hands knotted together with anxiety.

Betty’s face turned confused once more, her head cocking to the side adorably. “I-I don’t understand, then, Jug. If you don’t care about the rumours, and you’re not upset that it’s me and you the rumours are about, what is it?”

With a world-weary sigh Jughead took her jaw in his hands, cupping her face like she was the most delicate flower that had ever existed. “I was annoyed because I couldn’t stand it if you found out that I had feelings for you from Veronica or Kevin.”

Betty was searching his eyes, trying to find out if the remarkably kind words were the truth. Jughead surely had no reason to lie about this, there was nothing to gain by lying. “You… like me?”

She was so surprised, so utterly utterly surprised that Jughead had to chuckle, a smile breaking through his pent up nerves. “If I’m completely honest, I’ve completely adored you since we were about nine and you punched that kid in the nose for stealing my beanie.” He laughed at the memory of a delicate little girl standing up against a boy that was almost twice her size and lunging at him to get his beanie back. “You cleaned up my grazed elbow, dusted off my hat, and I think I fell in love with you there and then. It’s just taken me seven years to actually work up enough guts to tell you out loud.”

Her voice was a whisper. “Juggie…” His thumbs caressed her jawline, and her eyes fell closed, enjoying the sensations. After a moment she looked up at him again, “You’re not playing a joke, Jug? You really mean it?” His heart thudded in his chest as he looked upon her beautiful face, her eyes so hopeful and so scared. Had Archie really destroyed her self-confidence that much?

Jughead rested his forehead against hers, his nose rubbing hers lightly as he cupped her face. “I’m in love with you, Elizabeth Cooper.” From his vantage point he could see her mouth stretch upwards in a dazzling smile, and he took that as a very positive cue. “And if I don’t kiss you now, I think I’m going to implode.”

“We can’t have that, can we?” She whispered gently, as she tilted her face up to meet his waiting lips. It was perhaps the sweetest kiss Betty Cooper had ever had. Jughead cradled her face as if she was the most precious thing in the world, his lips the epitome of gentle as they moved against hers. She couldn’t control the sigh that escaped her lips, and she found herself reaching up to twist her fingers in the hair at the nape of his neck, curling her hands through it as if he were a lifeline. The quiet growl he let out made her heart race and her face redden, and she found that she liked that sound more than anything.

After what felt like a lifetime and a few seconds all at once, Jughead reluctantly pulled back fractionally, not letting go of her just yet. “If I knew that kissing you would be like that; I wouldn’t have wasted all these years.”

She chuckled warmly, curling her fingers around his ringlets. “Well, you’d better make up for lost time then, shouldn’t you?”

“Yes, ma’am.”

Imagine you and Ivar getting through your struggles together.

Summary: You’re Floki’s daughter and in love with Ivar. You have struggles with the fact that Floki wants you to come raid with Björn while Ivar has struggles about the return of his father. You don’t want to go for Ivar but you, out of love, helping him get over his fear for water.
Notes: Love and Fluff
Words: 2184

Hope you all like it! If you have a request, don’t by shy to ask. I don’t bite. ;-)

You watched the wrinkles in the water surface while your father was again cursing his own hands for missing with his hammer. As a boatbuilder of Kattegat Floki had a lot of things on his mind, one of those things was the request of Björn to make enough ships so he could travel the Mediterranean Sea. You hadn’t noticed that your father was stopped cursing so you looked away from the water towards him. He stood with you mother, who carefully nursed his wound, they were in a discussion and when they both looked towards you they felt silent. You knew your father would go with Björn now that Ragnar was dissapeared. And your mother … you looked back to your hands were you had a little pawn carved out of wood. You had the skills of your father, for sure. It didn’t took your mother and father long to come sit beside you. “Y/n.” Helga said while stroking your hair. You looked at her for you looked the other way towards your fahter.
“Your mother is coming to.” He began. You looked at Helga who smiled as if she just gave you the biggest present.
“And?” You didn’t understand what they were saying.
“You have to come to.” Your mother explained. You looked down at the wooden pawn again and bited your lip.
“I want to stay.” You said after a couple of minutes.
“Why? You will be a lot safer if you come with us. The gods are granting this to us all.” Helga wispered while rubbing your back.
“I don’t want to.”
“Because of Ivar?” Floki spitted in the sand.
“Maybe.” You answered. Ivar was your closest friend and more, you loved him. After al those years together while growing up there was nobody who knew you better than him. But your father, overprotective as always, didn’t liked the idea.
“He’s dangerous.” Floki said. Yes, Ivar was, but not to you, never to you. Floki didn’t want to lose you, you were his most valuable possesion besides your mother and in his eyes Ivar maked you reckless.
“Not to me.” You replied calm. Arguing with your father was worse than protesting against your mother who never got angry with you.
“I don’t want to go. I don’t like all the traveling and I sure don’t want to raid. Can’t I just stay here? Take care of the place?” You begged. Helga puched a strand of hair behind your ear and nodded.
“What?” Floki reacted immidiatly. You stood up and walked to the woods before it got any worse.

You waked up because somebody pushed his hand over your lips and nose. You started panicking and tried to get the hand away before you could see who’s hand it was. “Y/n.” He wispered. You searched around until you found his deep blue eyes. Ivar laid a finger against his lips before he removed his hand.
“What are you doing here?” You asked quietly. The moonlight shined throught a split in the roof over his head, his eyes almost sparkled now. But he looked troubled and because of that you were on high alert.
“What do you think I’m doing.” He smiled. You looked towards the door, afraid that your father would notice his presence. He sat beside the bed, on the ground. You turned on you stomach, brought you head a little closer to his.
“You never come to visit me at night.”
“Maybe I just wanted to see you?” He asked while pulling up his shoulders. You smiled a little bit.
“I know you better than that Ivar, never forget that.” You said, you eyes observing his. He reacted a little, as if he let a shield drop before you.
“Can we speak?”
“I wanted to speak you to.” You reacted, his eyes grew more concerned.
“What is it?” His fingertips barely touched your cheek but still, you closed your eyes a little bit.
“Not here.” You gave a prommesing look towards the door before getting up.

The sand felt cold under your feet. You looked at Ivar who laid beside you and stared to the stars and the moon. “They want me to go raiding with Björn.” You began. Ivar maked his eyes loose from the sky en pushed his body right. “What? Why? You going?” He already sounded upset. Ivar did not give much about the world, yes he loved his parents and brothers but it was not to compare with what he feels for you.
“They both go, it would keep me safe they said, if I come with them. But I don’t want to.” You stared again to the water until you felt Ivar’s touch on your elbows.
“Why not?”
“Because of you?” You answered. His face softed a little bit and you smiled tender. “I can’t leave you here Ivar, even if I wanted to go. You wouldn’t survive without me.” You joked at the last. He chuckled and shook his head right after.
“Yes, I need you Y/n but I would’t take away your dreams, if you want to go you should.” He said softly. You stared at his legs for a moment before looking back at him.
“Everything I dream of is right here.” You pointed to the surroundings.
“That includes me?” He asked while resting his head against your upper arm. You smiled and moved your head closer, pressing a little kiss on his lips.
“That includes especially you.” You tenderly said. He sighed and laid back again.
“Father is back.”
“Ragnar?” You asked confused.
“He wants to go to Engeland, asked all my brothers but not me.” You heared the frustration in his voice. You turned on your stomach and laid down beside him, your fingers playing in the sand.
“Would you go if he asked?” You asked carefull. You knew that it was a very difficult subject for Ivar.
“I hate the water.” He answered. You nodded and stared at the sand, trying to wrap your head around everything you both just said. He was honest, he hated water but you knew he would do everything for a journey with his father. So if he goes … what is keeping you here than? “Y/n, can we go sailing tomorrow?” He asked after a little while.
“I’m not an expert.”
“But I trust you, more than I truts Ubbe or Hvitserk.” He got futher. You looked at him and nodded.
“If my father sees you getting in a boat with me he will kill me, you know that right?” You laughed.
“He is to protective over you.”
“Well, so are you. I knew there was something compairing about you two.” You joked. Your laugh died away when his hand stroked your cheek.
“That’s because I love you y/n.” He wispered. You felt weak inside. You laid your head on his shoulder only to feel a kiss against your forehaid. “Mother is asking when you come to visit again.”
“Tomorrow, I promise.” You replied.
“Can I stay?” He wispered. You turned your head a little and looked at him. “Father will kill me for sure then.”
“He first has to kill me then.” He said right after. You smiled ans stared in his ocean blue eyes because there was no star or sea as bright as his eyes when he was with you.

Sigurd did it again. You walked the couple of steps to the great Hall when you heared Ivar calling out to his brother. Sigurd came outside, with that childish smile on his face. You hated Sigurd, because of what he always said to Ivar. But you didn’t show it. You crossed each other when there flew an axe right between you. It was ment for Sigurd, you were sure of that but a few inches and it were your legs. “Y/n!” Ivar yelled. You and Sigurd stood frozen to the ground and both looked at Ivar who crawled outside. He looked furious and that was proberly an understatement.
“Next time you throw an axe little brother, be sure that there is nothing precious around.” Sigurd smiled. You saw Ivar clenshing his teeth together while Sigurd was walking away.
“Let him go.” You said. Ivar looked up at you, angry and you just smiled calm and comforting.
“I’ve could hurt you.” He murmered.
“You didn’t.” You knew he wouldn’t show his affection for you in front of others so you followed him back inside. What you didn’t expect was to see Ragnar. “Y/n.” Ragnar greeted you with a warm embrace. “I see what you mean to my son.” He followed. You didn’t know what to say but when you looked at Ivar you saw that little smile you loved.
“It’s nice to see you again.” You respectfully said. Ragnar shook his had and walked out, rather dreamy. You looked how Ragnar walked away before turning back to Ivar. “You sure want to do this?” You asked a little worried about his earlier conflict with Sigurd.
“Yes.” Was his short answer. You looked how he crawled outside, still frustrated. It was only a matter of time for he would spill the beans. The whole way to the little boat of your father you walked in silence. He angry and frustrated, you patience as always. Both your parents weren’t home so there was no one to hold you back. Ivar pulled his body up to the egde of the boat, conflict all over in his eyes.
“We don’t have to do this now.”
“Yes we do.” He replied harsh.
“Don’t get mad on me for what Sigurd said.” You adviced him. He closed his eyes and shook his head while he was leading his anger away in his body. You crouched beside him and laid your hand on his jaw. “Ivar.” You wispered. He opened his eyes, all soft and vulnerable again.
“Sigurd and his poison words, fathers return, you leaving, I don’t,” he felt silent and rested his head on his arm what was on the edge of the boat.
“Who said I’m leaving?”
“Helga, this morning to my mother.” He aswered. You bited your lip again, looked in the boat and then back to Ivar.
“Get in.” You commanded. He didn’t protested and pulled his body in the boat. You pushed the boat in the water and then jumped in. Ivar began to row and you wachted how he carefully tried to ingnore the fact he was on water. “Look at me Ivar.” You pointed towards your own body. He did it and you saw his body relax a little while his strong arms brought you both further over the water.
“It isn’t that bad.” He said after a long time of nothing except for staring at each other. You were so far from home that nowbody could interrupt you.
“Sea is worse.” You didn’t want to lie, he had to know what he would face if he would go with his father.
“Your not helpfull.” He protested. You smiled and let your head rest on your hand while watching him.
“I’m always helpfull.” You disacreed with him.
“What would I do without you?” He asked. He stopped rowing and you steady walked towards him, sat on his lap. He wraped his arms around your middle and looked at you with such an admiration you felt your heart skipping a beat. “You would survive.” You wrapt your arm over his shoulder and let your fingertops rest on his jawline.
“You could get much better than me.” He suggested. You closed your eyes because of what he said, again.
“Ivar,” you began with a loving voice. “You’ve always been my best friend, even when we were kids we spended so much time together. And that friendship is the most valuable thing I have in my live. For me you’re no cripple, you could protect me just like any other man. Why are you always douthing that?” You stroked your fingers over his jaw, neck … gentle.
“I can’t understand why you can be so patience, so loving, so not afraid. You don’t deserve somebody like me, always angry and frustrated.” He looked away, into the water and you smiled for yourself.
“That patience comes from having a father like mine. And your not angry or frustrated with me.” You wispered. He was stil looking to the water. “Ivar.” You forced his head back so you could watch him. “Kiss me?” You wispered. He looked in your eyes, the conflict he had still troubeling him. But he kissed you, and it was a kiss were you didn’t need to look out for somebody to see it. You felt your heart grow while the warmth spread through your body.
“I love you Y/n.” He wispered against your skin, his lips traveling down your neck, pressing soft kisses on your collarbone. You wished you could be on this pleace forever, only the two of you, no secrets, no hiding, no protective father or concerned mother. Just you and Ivar, because that felt right, it was the only thing that felt good in your entire life.

Hope this was any good?

Enjolras and Feuilly, Medium Enjolras AU?:D

  • Feuilly first hears about Enjolras’ abilities from Jehan who, after one drink too much, spills the beans on that one time Enjolras tracked him down and dragged him to safety when he got lost in the catacombs. Feuilly writes it off as drunken ramblings.
  • Still, the thought won’t leave him alone. From then on, he can’t help but notice how Enjolras stares off into space sometimes - not merely zones out, but focuses on some random spot of thin air - and follows invisible things with his eyes. Enjolras has some perfectly harmless habits and eccentricities, and Feuilly tries very hard to convince himself this must be one of those, but he can’t help but be a bit creeped out.
  • All of the core members of Les Amis have, at some point been the occupants of Enjolras’ guest room and Feuilly is no exception. He often goes over to Enjolras and their conversation tends to last late into the night, when it’s dangerous to wander home alone… It’s a very nice little room with a comfortable bed, and Feuilly never experienced anything strange or unsettling in it… until that one night.

That night he wakes up suddenly in the middle of the night with a deep sense of unease. There’s a thick fog outside, and yet the Moon somehow still casts eerie shadows in the still, silent room. All is quiet. Immobile.

And then.

And then a chair slowly drags itself across the room.

Feuilly screams, shoots out of bed and bursts into Enjolras’ room, almost taking the door off of its hinges. When he finally manages to get out what happened Enjolras just sighs, grabs a pillow, crawls out of bed and pads out into the guest room.

The chair is still standing in the middle of the room. Enjolras stares at it grodgily for a few seconds… Then swats the spot right above it with the pillow, mutters some profanities, takes Feuilly by the arm and tells him to just come sleep with him.

(What Feuilly doesn’t know is the next day Enjolras finds a note with ‘thank me later’ and a winky face on it. Well, you know, the ghost figured his living roommate wanted Feuilly in his bed and that was accomplished, right? …Enjolras isn’t amused.)

  • Some time later, when he’s over the first shock and has made peace with the fact that ghosts exists, Feuilly quietly sidles up to Enjolras and asks if maybe he could talk to his parents if it isn’t too much of a trouble?

And Enjolras feels horrible, because he can’t promise anything for sure. He does promise he’ll call on them, but if they have passed on in peace he won’t be able to talk to them.

Sure, it isn’t impossible to drag back souls who have passed on, but it’s called necromancy and is generally frowned upon.

Finally they manage to summon the spirit of an old lady who isn’t related to Feuilly but who was a close friend of his parents and died a little while after they did. She tells them Feuilly’s parents only moved on recently, after they were certain their son had a livelihood and good, supportive friends. That they were proud of him, they missed him, but he shouldn’t rush to meet them.

The encounter leaves Feuilly sobbing and Enjolras feeling a little bit better about his ability.

Brad/Ray; DADT Repeal

If Ray weren’t so certain that he was dating an emotionless robot with a giant horse cock and an affinity for military-grade weaponry, he’d almost think Brad was trying to be romantic, flying all the way out to Nevada, Missouri, a week after the DADT repeal. As it is, Ray’s the one paying for dinner because Brad wouldn’t stop bitching about having to shell out three hundred bucks for the plane ticket, so romance is off the table.

Ray thinks that gives him a bit of leeway when it comes to fucking with Brad about their big gay love.

“So are we gonna talk about how we can fuck in public now without you getting arrested?” Ray asks around a mouthful of spaghetti. He’s not twirling it on his fork or anything that would classify him as having manners, but Brad doesn’t seem to care. Brad never cares when Ray’s being an idiot.

“I’m pretty confident that’s not what it means,” Brad tells him, and he’s doing that thing where he deflects just so he can seem cool and suave. He’s not, though; Ray’s got his number.

“Whatever, homes,” Ray says. “The world is missing out.”

A New Baby [a Barry Allen imagine]

a/n: i thought of this and omg i love joey

Check out my kids list: request, send blurbs in :)

As soon as you and Barry found out that you were, again, pregnant, you instantly wanted to tell your two sons. After waiting for a few weeks, you decided it’s time to spill the beans before you start showing. Joey hops on Barry’s lap, chewing a protein bar, while Tyler sits in the chair to the side of you, crystal blue eyes glued to his phone.

“Why we here?” Joey asks innocently, peering back at his daddy. His red Mickey Mouse Clubhouse t-shirt wrinkles around his tiny torso, rising up his stomach. Barry sighs, hands clutching his son’s waist to turn him on his lap.

You give him a look and he nods, scratching his chin, where light stubble is. “Um, well, boys- Ty, off the phone, come on.” he snaps, eyeing the fifteen year old, who groans, dropping it in his lap. Barry rolls his grassy green eyes, bringing his attention back to the toddler. “Well, okay, so, Joey, Ty, you know how mommy’s been getting bigger-”

“Mom’s pregnant, again. Yes, dad. I know. Can I go? I kinda get this. And, yes, I’m happy. I still have homework.” Tyler deadpans, blinking behind his glasses.

Sighing, you take his hand, thumb running across his knuckles. “Okay, sweetheart, you can go.” Tyler grins, kissing your cheek before heading upstairs, silver basketball shorts swaying at his knees. “But you better be doing homework and not texting Michael!” you call after him, receiving a grunt as a response.

Joey frowns, big dark blue eyes staring up at his daddy. He shifts, repositioning his legs at the older speedster’s hips. “What that mean, daddy?” he asks innocently, playing with Barry’s maroon flannel, protein bar already gone. “That a alien thing? You gonna fight aliens again?” he gapes, mouth hanging open.

“Um, no.” Barry laughs slightly, watching the three year old frown. “Mommy is pregnant, baby.” Joey squints, tilting his head. “Pregnant means… mommy and I…” he looks at you, clenching his teeth together. “Did something. Yeah, we did something, and there’s a…baby in mommy.” he explains, topping it off with a smile. “You’re gonna be a big brother soon, Joey.” he coos, tickling the toddler.

Except, he shies away, lower lip jutting out over his upper one, forming the perfect pout. “No daddy!” he shouts, making your eyes widen and heart break a little. “I don’t want a baby!” All Barry can do is frown, batting his long eyelashes as Joey climbs off his lap. “Stupid daddy!” he screams, stomping up the stairs; Mickey Mouse Clubhouse pajama bottoms dragging behind him.

Biting his lip, Barry slumps his shoulders, gazing at you when he hears sniffles. “Hey,” he muses, wrapping his long arm around you, green eyes dull. “Babe, I’m sure he doesn’t mean that… he’s three. He’s probably confused right now.” he chides, dropping a kiss to your forehead. “I’m gonna talk to him.” he nods, speeding to the toddler’s room.

Barry knocks on the door. “Joey, open up. It’s daddy.” he grunts.

“Go away! Go be with the new baby!” Joey hisses, playing with his dinosaur figurines.

“You know… You made mommy cry.” the older speedster hums, pressing his ear to the door. Silence. “She’s very upset; thinks you don’t love her anymore. I know that’s not true… You love mommy and I don’t you?” he prompts, getting a faint ‘yes’. “We love you and Ty and soon the new baby. Just because there’ll be another baby, doesn’t mean we’ll forget you. There’s gonna be a lot more love. That’s all.” he says softly, squinting as he tilts his head.

Joey opens the door, wrapping his arms around Barry’s legs. “I’m sorry daddy. You not stupid.”

Barry bends, picking him up. “Let’s go talk to mommy. She was very upset.”

And today, I’m so pleased to finally be able to tell you that the silence this time is in fact cause for celebration, because I am still pregnant – 12.5 weeks to be exact!!!

No words can express how happy and excited we are to be pregnant after three years of infertility.
