Requested: Anon ‘could you do a simon imagine where him and Y/N are together and Y/N gets a bit jealous because she’s insecure so simon reasures her and its just really fluffy and they go home and cuddle and its just so fluffy’
A/N: I hope you enjoy this! This have been sitting in my drafts for the longest time (I’m so sorry). I’m going to close my requests box, I have 85 requests (yikes) and have drafts that I need to finish.
You and Simon were out for lunch, hungry and tired from shopping all morning. You found a really nice looking restaurant and decided to eat there, you found a booth and sat down.
“Ugh, my legs ache.” Simon groaned, dropping the bags down onto the floor and sitting next to you.
“Aw boohoo.” You teased, picking up the main menu.
“That’s not very nice of you to say.” Simon told, picking up the other menu and looking at it.
A few minutes later you both decided on what to order.
“Hello, are you ready to order?” A voice interrupted making you look up. She was really pretty and she had a flirtatious smile looking towards your boyfriend.
“Uh yeah, can I have a coke and a burger and chips please?” Simon said, making the waitress giggle and write it down on her notebook.
She turned around and gave you a fake smile.
“Can I have a lemonade and lasagna?” You asked a bit rudely.
“Coming right up.” She smiled before winking at Simon and walking away.
“Wow.” You huffed, crossing your arms. “Can you believe her?” You asked Simon, jealousy and anger ridden in your voice.
“There’s no need to get jealous babe, I have my eyes on you only, no one else.” He reassured, holding your hand.
“I can’t help it.” You sighed before continuing on, “People like her needs stop flirting with other peoples boyfriends before they end up doing something they regret.” You finished, narrowing your eyes at the waitress as she bit her lip looking at your boyfriend from across the restaurant.
“I love you and only you, Y/N. People like her are just idiots who have nothing else to do than flirt with any guy they see.” Simon said a little loudly when she walked past your table, making you giggle.
Later on that evening, you and Simon were cuddled on the bed watching Netflix.
“What’s up, love?” Simon asked softly, noticing your behaviour was off ever since the waitress encounter that day.
“Do you get annoyed with my jealously?” You asked him.
“I don’t, I know I say this every time but, you don’t need to be. I am with you because you’re beautiful, funny, kind, the list is endless. I would never, ever leave you for another girl. Do you know why? Because I love you so, so much that it hurts. Nobody compares to you.” He finished his speech, wiping a tear that fell from your eye.
“Thank you Si, I needed that.” You admitted, feeling silly to ever think that he would leave you for someone else.
“No need to thank me, it’s the truth.” He told you, tilting your head up to kiss you.
“I love you.” You smiled, laying your head on his chest, feeling sleepy.
“I love you too, more than anything in this world.”
