Pro Ana Tips

  1. RULES, RULES, RULES. This is important. You need to set rules for yourself, and if you are truly ana, you will have no problem sticking to them because you are STRONG! Rules are everything. Examples: Don’t eat anything white. Do not, under any circumstances, eat after 6:00. Don’t eat before 3:00. Cut each bite into x amount of pieces, chew x amount of times. Do not eat anything that has over 3 grams of fat. Make your own and keep adding to them.
  2. Ana must be the center of your life.
  3. Drink a full glass of water before you eat and then sip a full glass between bites, you’ll get full much faster. Remember it takes 20 minutes for the brain to realize the stomach is full.
  4. Eat denser food because it feels like more. Light and fluffy foods compact in your digestive tract and you will feel hungry soon after.
  5. Take out only the amount of food you plan to eat and don’t allow seconds.
  6. Think before you eat. Don’t eat while distracted (TV, etc). Stop and consider if you really want to eat that then consciously give yourself permission.
  7. 4 100-calorie meals is better than one 400-calorie meal.
  8. Never eat anything bigger than about a cup, your stomach will expand and you’ll get hungry more. If you need to, eat more frequently, not bigger amounts.
  9. Slim-Fast and other “healthy” bars and shakes have more carbs and calories than in the meal they’re intended to replace. Stay away.
  10. Drink at least a glass of water every hour. It’s better for weight loss to sip throughout the day than to chug a full glass (except before eating, in which case it can make you eat less, or make you slightly nauseous so you don’t want to eat at all). Try keeping a water bottle somewhere you’ll see it a lot, like every 10-20 minutes, and take a drink from it every time you see it/notice it.
  11. Drink up to a shot of apple cider vinegar before eating, it’s supposed to minimize fat absorption. Also speeds metabolism and can help curb cravings. Drinking more than a shot causes a vague nausea which helps suppress appetite.
  12. Ice or gum are good food substitutes. Celery works too if you’re really hungry.
  13. Use small, dark colored plates. Dark blue or black makes you eat less, and smaller plates and utensils cause you to take smaller portions from the start.
  14. Make a list of “bad” foods. Periodically, cross one of the list and pledge to never, ever eat it again. Eventually there will be none left.
  15. Eat in front of a mirror, naked or in underwear if possible. If you can’t, carry a picture of yourself in a revealing outfit and look at it when you want to eat. When you have cravings pinch your fat and look at your problem areas, don’t add to them!

  25. Have a peppermint or peppermint tea. Peppermint decreases hunger.
  26. Brush your teeth when you want to eat. The clean feeling and mint aftertaste will put you off food.
  27. Press on your stomach when it grumbles. TUMS also stop stomach growling and have calcium.(5 calories a piece so be careful!)

They never really talk about it.

Even after the first time it happened, Misha wanted to—but as soon as he saw Jensen on set the next day, he froze. And maybe he would’ve been more inclined to say something to him, if the man had actually acted weird—if he’d pushed Misha away or given him the silent treatment; but he didn’t. Jensen acted a hundred percent normal.

As soon as he saw him, he patted Misha on the back, told him “Good morning”, handed him a cup of tea and then walked off to the make-up trailer. It was almost as if the night before, never even happened—so Misha assumed that that’s the way Jensen wanted it. He wanted to forget it all, pretend everything was the same while praying to God that Misha wouldn’t mess up the illusion for him … so Misha didn’t.

He pretended too.

And soon enough, it all felt like some sort of a weird fever dream. Hazy around the edges, but still grounded with memories of touch and smell, and the sensation of someone else’s tongue running across his lips. It was fine. He would be fine. He rationalized it to himself over and over; it was just an odd moment between friends. He’s had plenty of those while growing up— with Darius, mostly … but those are something he’s used to, so this shouldn’t throw him in the least.

Misha could deal.

Some of the homra boys find out yata is going on a date. They don't know it's saru tho and them being so nice they got him a pretty necklace or bracelet to give to the lucky girl. Later they see fushimi walking around wearing it not too long after yata's date XD.

So say Yata and Fushimi have just started dating but Yata hasn’t really had the chance to mention it to everyone in Homra yet, like he’s still wrapping his mind around it a little himself, that he and Saruhiko are together. Maybe he has made some attempt though, like a couple days after Yata and Fushimi finally managed to awkwardly confess their feelings and started officially dating Yata tries to tell the guys at Homra but somehow there’s a miscommunication. Say Yata comes into the bar all happy and Kusanagi asks him if something good happened, Yata nods and is like I finally told that guy how I felt. Kusanagi’s proud of Yata for finally confessing to Fushimi and Yata’s explaining how it happened when Kamamoto and the Homra alphabet walk in. Having only caught half the conversation they figure out that Yata’s dating someone now but no one realizes that he’s talking about Fushimi, Chitose’s like huh so the virgin finally got a girl huh and Yata’s so busy being pissed at being called a virgin that he forgets to correct Chitose that it’s not a girl.

Then it’s almost time for the one month anniversary and Yata decides to try and be all romantic, wanting to do something nice for Fushimi since even though they’re ‘officially’ dating he feels like nothing’s really changed between them. Like they still hang out at the game center sometimes or meet for drinks every couple days and stuff like that but due to Fushimi’s work schedule plus Yata’s string of part time jobs the two of them don’t seem to have time for any kind of proper ‘date.’ Yata feels like he should be doing something more romantic though, maybe now that he’s understanding Fushimi a little better and Fushimi’s also communicating his feelings more Yata feels like Fushimi’s thinking maybe the two of them are more just friends than anything beyond that so Yata wants to make an actual date. He’s discussing the details with Kusanagi when the Homra gang comes in and of course everyone has some kind of advice for Yata as to how to make his girlfriend feel appreciated (every time Yata tries to correct them on the 'girlfriend’ issue something distracts him or someone makes a joke that pisses him off and he never does get to remind everyone that this is Saruhiko we’re talking about here).

On the day of the date Yata’s nervous getting ready, stopping by the bar because maybe Kusanagi and Anna have gotten him some nicer clothes to wear and Kusanagi’s offering last minute advice and encouragement. That’s when the rest of Homra proudly presents Yata with like a fancy bracelet telling him that giving gifts is always good for romance, they got it as like a thank you gift for taking down some bad guys harassing a local jewelry store owner a while back and everyone was arguing over who got to keep it, they figure after all Yata did in the past year to hold Homra together the least they could do is give it to him for his date. Yata’s kinda touched that his stupid friends did something sweet and they all tease him lightly telling him to go for it and show his girl what kind of man he is. Yata’s like why do you guys keep saying girl but before he can elaborate or anyone can really think about his words he’s gotta go because he’s meeting Saruhiko at the restaurant. Everyone’s all proud of him, like our little virgin has finally grown up and found himself a girl. Anna and Kusanagi exchange curious glances and then Kusanagi just laughs and is like yeah, something of that sort. Later on Yata returns all excited because his date went great and even the gift was appreciated. The Homra guys figure they did good and are about to press Yata for details when Fushimi walks in. Yata starts to say something to him but Fushimi just nods at him and says he has a message for Kusanagi from Awashima. As he’s relaying the message someone finally notices that there is a very familiar bracelet on Fushimi’s arm. I can imagine them all like elbowing each other one by one, eyes widening as they figure out exactly who Yata’s date was (and then afterward it’s like ’of course that’s who it was he’s never made eyes at anyone else like that before’).

I started this on Joey’s birthday. :’)

Consider if you would for a moment that not everything is 100% better when everyone gets back to the village, consider it still being hard for Branch to open up and sing and dance without caring like everyone else. Consider the sound of a hug time bracelet going off still making him feel like he can’t breathe (and everyone knowing this so no one tries to hug him, also everyone knows Poppy is the one exception.) And even consider him having relapse of going grey (Poppy comes over for a surprise visit and finds him sitting in his bunker in the dark and she knows what’s going on before he even turns around because she can hear him sniffling and even with the lights off she can see his color is gone, and when he finally does realize she’s there he can’t stop apologizing. “I- I’m sorry Poppy I didn’t mean to I just-” “you can leave I’m sorry i know I’m just being stupid” “I swear I’ll be b- better soon I’m sorry I’m sorry-” but she doesn’t accept any of the apologize because he has nothing to be sorry for in her eyes. So she just sits next to him, let’s him cry, gets him water, sings to him, gives him hugs if he asks for them, because she knows what to do. Because this isn’t the first time, and it won’t be the last. But she doesn’t care, all she cares about is being with him in times like this, no matter how long it will take.

Consider this does take a long time. Longer than anyone cares to keep track of.

Now consider Poppy being woken up to Branch opening the curtains to let in the sun and shaking her because “Poppy, Poppy, POPPY GET UP” “the party’s tonight and we still have so much to do!!” “Its not everyday guy diamond has a birthday you know” “and I was just at the bakery, and you’ll have to go down and talk to them because they think I’m just being picky, but no way do those cupcakes have enough edible glitter let me tell you” “also Dj changed the music mix without telling me and I’m not sure I like the new one as much-” the only thing that stops his well-planed rambling is the light musical ping of her and his very own hug time bracelet. And he is immediately beside her bed with his arms out and a light blush on his cheeks. Poppy can’t help it, she jumps out of bed so fast they both go tumbling to the ground.
