Throwback to last year that you might not have seen. Great to see the progression Asher Roth has made from the “College” image he came up with– today thousands of white rappers are trying to be what he was two years ago, while he’s moved on to bigger tracks and more intelligent subject matter. Consequence is always good for some serious thought too. Great tune to nod your head to. - Ryan
As the year comes to a close, we couldn’t be more appreciative of the support we’ve received on this venture. It’s been crazy to try to build something like this from scratch, especially without industry insider connections or any particular business knowledge to get things started. For the most part, we’ve been successful because of the support of random internet readers, google searchers, friends and family, and intrigued Chapel Hill/Carrboro/Durham residents. Whether you fall into those categories or not, we thank you.
Thrill City and Thrillife head into 2012 as mostly independent yet related entities ready to make major headway with their respective audiences. Before that time though, six items from the online store are being cleared out– and until then they’re only HALF PRICE at the online store. Give it a glance, and thank us later! We’ll thank you right now.
Whether through us or someone else, keep supporting brands/companies that are Home-Run!
So it’s not every day you come across a crazy good skate/blading video, and it’s not every day that it’s done by an amateur but looks professional (I think). This video, from a one Julian Artist (according to his Facebook page), has it all. 95 percent of these sequences scare the living shit out of me to even consider attempting. It’s over 7 minutes long, but I have a feeling it will hold your interest.
I had the chance to meet Silent Knight earlier this year outside a Murs and Ski Beatz show at Local 506, but little did I know he had this awesome music video going around on the interwebs! This is some true hip-hop!
Our interview with The Dean’s List is finally finished! Crazy how much time can go into a three minute interview video, but we wanted this one looking good, as we do with all videos in the future. Eventually Thrill City TV will have high quality interviews and insight from some of your favorite artists on the regular. Stay tuned!
