though i kind of like it

I'm so tired why won't they speak up, or shut everyone else up. Like if you aren't going to talk about it but show it to other musicians who give interviews tell them, hey you know just don't mention this anytime soon? I haven't said anything, but he obviously doesn't do that let's them talk about it and he remains quiet.

I do think it’s interesting that his team is allegedly allowing multiple people to listen to the music but we have yet to have any of it leak. When are they going to let Julian listen and hit us with 6 second audio clips?

Dr. McCoy is ranked #1 "Most Kissable Crewman"

Like, not as in been kissed but that most people would kiss him if the situation called for it or he has a that kind of kissable look. A common comment was along the lines of Lt. Marshall, who said:

“I’m not sure show to explain it, he just seems like a kissable guy. Like, you see him and you think, ‘Yeah, he’s kissable’, ya’ know?”

The lieutenant followed up shorty after with:

“I mean, you’d probably either get decked or a hypo if you did kiss him, though. Unless you were senior staff or his friends.”

From Ed Sheeran's interview with MYfm, February 15, 2017.
  • Ed: To be honest, when I do get married, I don't think people will know that it's happening until it's happened. I don't wanna, I'm not--
  • Interviewer: Will it be a lowkey affair?
  • Ed: Definitely, yeah. Definitely. Probably just parents. I don't really, like, that whole kind of media circus around weddings is not really...
  • Interviewer: But that media circus is one thing that I think you've avoided really well, and it's obviously a personal choice.
  • Ed: Up until now, though. I think it's... it's getting quite bad now, yeah. Everything I say and do seems to be a news story, which I've never really had before.
  • Interviewer: Do you guard your words?
  • Ed: No. And that's the problem. Like, that's the problem 'cause lots of sort of negative stories are coming out just because I'm quite an open person.
  • Interviewer: [...] Sometimes the meaning of what you say can be dissected and taken and pieced and parsed to a small point, like politicians go through. And I would think that somebody in your world can get frustrated by that sometimes and not want to give as much of yourself.
  • Ed: Yeah, I find it really frustrating. And like it has got to a point where, probably the next album, I will do less interviews. Not radio, it's different when it's radio because you can hear the way I say stuff, but when it's a print interview... I said in a -- no, a guy said to me in an interview, "How do you feel if people copy you?" And I said, "I don't mind if people copy me." And then the headline in the paper was, "Ed Sheeran Says: People Copy Me." And I was like, that isn't, that isn't--
  • Interviewer: That's not what you said!
  • Ed: Yeah, but the thing is if it's on radio, it's different on radio because you can hear the way that I'm saying things. But in like, in print they can literally write whatever they want.
  • Interviewer: And you know what's so frustrating? Like if I sat here and asked you about an exgirlfriend or something, I'm asking you. But then people will be like, "Oh, Ed brought up his exgirlfriend." You know? That happens all the time in interviews.
  • Ed: Yeah. I find... yeah. It's a weird thing. And I can understand like when you see these huge American artists come out and none of them do interviews, you can kind of... it's because they've had years of this, I think.
  • Interviewer: Fake news!
  • Ed: Yeah, fake news. [laughs]
MBTI types I know

INFJ: Very interested in politics, very knowledgeable and VERY opinionated and their arguments are all supported by evidence.

INTP: stereotypical INTP. Loves geek culture, D&D, doesn’t like to dress nicely, room is cluttered, anime, history.

ENFP: Loves dogs and babies, always falling over, feels too much for their own good, so optimistic.

INFP: Introspective, has baggage and it shows though they don’t talk about it, very kind intentions, fun to talk to, can talk about deep themes.

ISFJ: So kind, can’t stop loving people who put them down, will always pull through for you, witty

ESFJ: DIY as fuck, colour code that shit! Aesthetic is life, gets shit done, has no time for you time wasters. The most beautiful, colourful study notes imaginable.

ENTJ: Opinionated, knows they’re right, likes to debate, likes control, constantly missing emotional cues from others.

ISTJ: So much energy, crazy ideas, blunt, didn’t realise they were being hurtful, feels so bad when they realise.

ESFP: Loves attention, bursts into song, capricious, takes everything personal, wants everyone to enjoy things as they do.

So like, rwby s4 kind of sucked right!?!?! Like, everything felt rushed, but also nothing happened??? Like, Yang was all ptsd, then she was okay, and characters would have these mental breakdowns not at all foreshadowed by the writing and it was kind of a mess. It's not just me right?

I loved volume 4 and I thought Yang’s arc was written well. She handled the physical aspect of her situation but I don’t think she’s gotten through the emotional part of it yet. As someone with a disability though, I could not be happier with how they wrote that part of it.

Also I definitely disagree on the “nothing happened” bit - which I see from time to time and makes no sense to me. A lot happened. Sure it wasn’t V3 with a school falling and people dying, but I’m glad for that. You don’t need that to happen every season cause then the impact lessens. V4 was about strengthening the characters backstories and the world as a whole.

Weiss grew so much. We met Blake’s family. We saw how great Yang and her father are. Ruby continues to grow up and show why she’s so special. We learned more about Salem. We finally got a chance to really see Raven. Ruby and Qrow’s relationship became one of the best in the entire series. We learned where Ren and Nora came from and saw how they met and became the close pair they are now.

Was it perfect? Of course not, but I would probably rank V4 as my second favorite in the entire series behind V3 :)

real talk though in a Fae AU who would be the fairy and who would be the human?

Cause honestly i can see Credence having a strange fascination with humans and Graves is kind of a skeptic, one of those ‘i don’t believe in fairies’ types

He goes to some country village for a vacation and all the locals are superstitious af and they warn him to watch for fairy rings when he walks through the woods. Graves is kinda like ‘yeah, sure, I’ll do that’

Graves does eventually wind up in the woods and he ends up walking right into a fairy ring naturally.

Credence comes out looking like he does and Graves definitely believes someone that pretty isn’t human. Then he realizes that means the locals were right after all and his ‘oh, shit’ moment must show on his face cause Credence just kinda smiles and promises that he’s not here to hurt him.

So they get to talking a little bit, Graves telling Credence that the villagers all warned him about how dangerous fairies are.

Credence looks a little upset at that and when Graves presses he finds out that Credence is actually pretty lonely. Because of all the superstitions about his kind, humans try and avoid Credence even though he really doesn’t mean them any harm.

“So does that mean… I’m not really trapped in this thing?” Graves asks, glancing around at the toadstools.

Credence spreads his arms. “No. You’re free to go.”

Graves tries stepping over the toadstools and, sure enough, he isn’t stopped by anything.

Credence starts to fade back into the forest, but Graves stops him before he can leave completely.

“What do you want with humans, anyways?”

Credence glances back at him, shrugging. “Nothing, really. I’m just curious.”

Graves hesitates a bit, rubbing at the back of his neck. “I… guess I could stay for a bit. If you have any questions.”

Credence’s face lights up and he practically floats over to Graves, eyes shining. “I have so many.”

So they strike up this sort of unusual friendship with Graves heading into the woods every couple of days to see Credence while all the villagers sort of scratch their heads and wonder why he’s so eager to die.

and then you could probs throw something in there about Credence being a fairy prince or something, and his mother Mary Lou disapproves of humans and finds out about him sneaking off all the time to see Graves, like there are ways you could go with that

BUT

I can also see fairy King Graves, stern and determined to keep his people from harm by keeping them away from humans.

He knows what they’re like, they’ll probably want to cut them open, see what makes them tick, or at the very least try and steal fairy magic for their own.

So he sets up fairy rings and slowly they gain a reputation amongst humans for being dangerous things. ‘Go near the fairy rings and wind up dead.’

Credence doesn’t mean to stumble into one, but it’s dark in the woods and he’s not watching where he’s going, just desperate to get away from the oppressive church and the mother who’s not his mother.

Once he realizes what he’s done he’s scared, of course, but there’s also a small spark of relief. No more Mary Lou, no more scars, no more overwhelming guilt for being what he is…

Graves appears to find Credence sitting in the middle of the ring, arms wrapped around his legs, chin propped on his knees, looking amazingly calm for someone who’s supposedly about to die.

“Do you know what happens to people who step inside my rings?” Graves mutters darkly, thinking it’s possible that the young man is just incredibly ignorant.

But all Credence says is a quiet, “Yes.”

Graves has to admit, he’s a bit taken aback by the subdued response. “Then why aren’t you screaming? Or trying to escape?”

Credence just shrugs.

Slightly intrigued, Graves holds off on killing him. Instead, he decides to let Credence (who really does look quite pathetic) go with a warning to never mention the incident to anyone unless he wants Graves to come back and finish the job.

Credence agrees and sets back off to the village.

Graves watches him the next few days, determined to make sure that the boy isn’t going to tell anyone. But Credence is true to his word and keeps his mouth shut about fairies and their rings.

Unbeknownst to Credence, of course, Graves also sees who and what he lives with. Graves never has understood how humans could treat one of their own that way.

And one night he just kind of decides he’s had enough of sitting back and watching this happen, so he appears to Credence, tells him he knows what Mary Lou has been doing, and all Credence has to do is get Mary Lou out to a fairy ring, Graves will take care of the rest.

A few nights later Credence runs off again, making sure not to pull too far ahead this time so Mary Lou continues to follow him. He knows his way around better than she does, and so he skirts right around the fairy ring but she steps directly into it.

As soon as she realizes what Credence has done she starts screaming at him, warning him what she’ll do to him as soon as she gets out of this. But she never gets the chance to follow through on any of her threats.

Graves materializes out of nowhere, staring at Mary Lou with blank hatred in his eyes. “Go back to the village, Credence,” he says flatly.

Credence obeys. He never sees Mary Lou again.

I'm always down for anything relating to V. Seriously, though, write whatever the hell you want. If someone give you shit for it, there's at least five people that will burn that motherfucker to the ground

LOL like. I honestly don’t care. And as grateful as I am for every single damn person that follows me, like EVERY ONE, and every person that gives me kind words; I do what I do on this blog because it makes me happy. I write what I write because I’m inspired.

Not because I’m full of myself, seeking notes etc. So no one can give me shit. No one can bring me down. I’m friggin proud of myself and everything I do here. And I WON’T apologize for the hard work I put in here and for people enjoying the content.

That’s all on the haters and nothing more. :) :) Thank you babe, ILY. I appreciate the heck out of you!

Can I just say-
thanks to a lot of you for being supportive.
As someone who does simple photoshop work (but I still try my best to make it as neat and clean as possible), I never believed I’d get too many nice comments in the tags. I wouldn’t have minded if that was the case tbh, but? So many of y'all are so wonderful and kind and a lot of tags are just incredibly sweet.
Though I appreciate just a simple like too, or basically anything y'all do, no one’s oblidged to like or reblog stuff or add anything in the tags of reblogs.
Thanks again!

Pls don't try to speak for all trans girls, you can't decide on your own that it's not okay to draw trans girls with wide shoulders/chests/muscles when other trans girls will be happy to see drawings of girls that look like them or even just want/find attractive, it's ok for trans girls AND cis girls to have traits that are considered "masculine" (or "feminine"/"girly" or androgynous)! There are so many kinds of lovely girls

I’m not sure if this message was directed towards me or the anons but your views correlate with mine on the matter.

I’m receiving messages like this

and this

though I didn’t have a buff portrayal in mind when drawing that pic of princess marco there is absolutely nothing wrong with being buff and masc and no wrong way of being a girl. All girls are cool for sure and there’s not one right way to draw them.

I have seen some instances where the ONLY way cis people portray trans girls and women are with extreme buff features that are often purposefully exaggerated but I really don’t think that marco drawing falls under the said category of perpetuating stereotypes. I do promise to be more wary when drawing in the future.

Spoiler alert - but your characters in blockbuster franchises die every time. Is this your sneaky way of never having to do a sequel?

Mads Mikkelsen: It’s not really my choice, though! I guess in the Marvel world there’s always a comeback, anything is possible, but it’s just been a coincidence. I don’t mind, I haven’t done a sequel of anything and I’m kind of pleased with that. I think ‘that’s what we did, it was great, move on’. But maybe it would be great to do a sequel.

Mads, wait, you were in two Pusher films!

Mads Mikkelsen: Yes, that’s true, but it’s a different animal. It wasn’t like, ‘That was a great audience success, let’s patch something together and see if they want to see it’, it was a natural development of the characters.

PLEASE HAVE AN ICE CREAM AND CALM DOWN

Yeah though, I kind of thought this is where we were heading. The witches they’ve been fighting. They’re “corrupted” magical girls, aren’t they? Because of course they are. Of course they’re the pain of lost dreams, of girls who maybe want to try and break the cycle. Of course they become the very thing they’re fighting.

Of course they do.

I’ve got to get my blog business in order. I never do anything I’m tagged in lately. It’s so bad. I love getting tagged too. It’s just that I’m always on my phone. It’s so rare I sit at the computer and we all know how annoying formatting is with the app. And I need to post armpits regularly. What kind of armpit blog is this? A shitty one, that’s what kind. I need to answer questions more. I’m bad. If you sent me stuff anon though I don’t feel guilty. It’s dumb. Unless you want to confess your undying love for me. Then you should totally do it on anon. That’s cool. But like, don’t ask what book I’ve read on anon. That’s unnecessary. Anyway, I’m working on it. There’s just a lot of nonsense right now.

ness-paula  asked:

How often do people call each other by their first names in Japan?

In real life?

Uh…that’s kind of hard to answer since everyone’s different. I can only offer anecdotal evidence here, unfortunately.

In my experience people around the same age/social standing tend to call their friends by their given names, though many people go by nicknames or last names instead. Boys in particular call each other by last name even when friends. Most of my really close Japanese friends go by a nickname–some are just shortened versions of their given name, like me going by Jess, and some are a little more complicated. (No, Shinichi, I still refuse to call you “Magnum”.)

Teachers will sometimes call students by first name rather than last name, though it tends to be more common with girls. (I generally call all my students by given name for ~cultural~ reasons, unless they prefer to go by a nickname or their surname.)

Parents and older siblings obviously use given names (making the Funi dub of DR The Animation really hilarious since Naegi’s mother calls her own son by his surname). Younger siblings call their older siblings Onii/Onee-san/chan, though sometimes if you have multiple older sibs of the same gender you’ll use Given Name-nii/nee-san/chan.

All of the twins I’ve known irl in Japan called each other by given name, though make no mistake they know exactly which one of them is “older”.

Celebrities, especially cute female ones, get called by given name a lot too. Go look at Kanda Sayaka’s Twitter–most of her fans call her “Sayaka-chan”.

Then there’s lots of contexts where you use a person’s title over either of their names, unless you’re trying to distinguish between two people who hold/have held the same position (e.g., supervisors, CEOs, doctors, school administrators, etc.).

So I guess to answer your question in tl;dr format: given names aren’t used anywhere near as often as in the West, but they’re still used in situations where people consider each other equals or when one person is considered socially superior to the other.

I’ve had this toxic friendship for quite awhile but I always felt so guilty if I ignored her and ended the friendship. Always worried that I’d hurt her feelings even though she was destroying me with her narcissistic behavior…Anywho, she finally made another friend and tried to throw it in my face that I was replaced but I’d never felt so much weight off my soul in my whole life. Like the garbage finally took itself out. I don’t know how or why I always end up attracting those kind of people but holy shiz I suffer from some energy vampires in my life.

my opinions/theories

okay so, this whole “new dinof video idea” has made a earthquake in the phandom. My whole opinion is I don’t expect him to “come out” even though he’s made it VERY CLEAR that he is interested different genders. Yeah, maybe he will, but it’s very not likely. People pressuring him to come out is only making him feel more scared to be open with his sexuality. I don’t think we should have our expectations so high.

On the other hand, and this might just me overanalysing things. I think that maybe it might be a video of him talking about his sexuality but in kind of a funny/sarcastic way. You know like him being “sexually ambiguous” and him treating it as something not to worry about. This goes completely against my opinion, but think about he said in the liveshow, that the upcoming video that’s quite funny, and it’s about his life being turned into a joke. He also said it’s a big deal, but also not, which might mean he’s coming out but it’s not a big deal because we already kinda figured it out??????? Also saying he doesn’t know he’s ready maybe meaning he doesn’t know if he’s ready to share that part of his life.

Chapter 13 hurt so bad but in the absolute best way? Like I was thinking either Yuuri confesses and they get together immediately which wouldn't have been all that satisfying or some kind of misunderstanding happens which would drive them apart but I couldn't think of anything that didn't seem a little contrived and bad sitcomish, BUT THEN THAT HAPPENED. AND IT HURT SO MUCH BUT IN SUCH AN HONEST WAY AND IT EXCEEDED EVERY EXPECTATION I HAD. Like even though it hurt that was A++ storytelling.

Thank you so much!
