How the fuck do they expect us to wait a year to see how this plays out? I had the exact same thought last season and while i’m not near as offended as I was at last season’s end i’m still left here like WHAT THE FUCK DID THIS SHOW JUST DO TO ME.
Ahhhh you watch The Blacklist? Can I get your thoughts on Keen/Ressler? My mom and I always have debates on if they are going to go there with the two of them.
Keenler? Oh…it’s on baby. You bet your ass it is. I love Keen and Ressler. The part where Ressler and Tom shove each other and Tom asks, “What are you her boyfriend?” I literally shouted “Ya damn right he is!”
I like the dynamic between Ressler & Keen. They push each other, they’ve both been heartbroken and they are both a little messed up. I also love how neither likes to bend the rules but they always bend for each other. I don’t think either one of them is anywhere near ready to admit it, but there are fuzzy bunny feelings developing.
I’m not a Tom fan. Never was. I was good with letting that bastard freeze to death. Prick. Lizzie’s too nice. (I may be bitter. It’s a slight possibility)
I am also not a Liz & Reddington shipper (blech). I firmly believe he’s her father, I don’t care if it’s too obvious. To me, that was never the real mystery. The real mystery is WHAT HAPPENED. What happened to Red that forced him to leave, what happened the night of the fire, what sent him on this path, who’s after him, why did he stay away for so long, what’s he got on these people?
See? Plenty of mystery left once they answer the Liz & Reddington relationship which they basically did last night. For one, after delivering Berlin’s daughter to him, Berlin says “I hear you’ve been spending quite a bit of time with your daughter.” Hello…Elizabeth! And that scene where Elizabeth is crying and says she doesn’t know what is wrong with her…the look on Red’s face is heartbreaking. It wasn’t a look of a man in love, it was the way a father looks at his daughter. In his eyes, she is perfect. It was heartbreaking and honest and real…UGH I love those two.
Also, the scene with Red & Tom? Um…that was very much “She’s my baby girl and if you ever even attempt to look upon her face again I will kill you. Slowly.”
Why Tom & Red are working together…who knows. I’m so glad they are done with the Berlin stuff and now we can get down to the nitty gritty of Red’s real enemies.
