those caps are the best

  • X-Men: The government is comparing mutants to weapons, trying to get them all to register, but the real villain of the movie is MAGNETO.
  • X2: There is now a US general who used armed soldiers to seize a school building full of children and who has captured the X-Men's leader and is using his brain to wipe out the entire mutant race. The real villain is still MAGNETO.
  • X3: There's been a "cure" discovered that deprives mutants of their mutation and has been weaponized. Also, Jean Grey, one of the X-Men's own, has come back from the dead as a terrible being of unfathomable power. Somehow, the real villain of the movie manages to be MAGNETO.
  • XMFC: Sebastian Shaw has been torturing, abusing, and manipulating mutants for decades, and he and the Hellfire Club plan to start WWIII. The villain of the movie is MAGNETO.
  • DoFP: The US government is sanctioning a program that will lead to a dark timeline in which mutants are hunted by robots and rounded up in concentration camps. The villain of this movie is not Bolivar Trask, who is building the Sentinels, or Mystique, whose actions inadvertently cause the timeline to come to pass, but MAGNETO.
  • X-Men Apocalypse: Apocalypse is a big scary dude from ancient times who wants to see the whole world burn. But don't worry! Guess who's still a villain? MAGNETO.

you guys have no idea how much of an impact kayoko nagato gave me in her centric-episodes in Ojamajo Doremi….like I really wish I can see more of that in children fictional media. The way they portray school stress and panic disorder was so…..relatable in a sense. I remember when I first moved in to the Philippines and in my new school, I got social anxiety to the point that I used to get panic and anxiety attacks, so it really hit me close to home when I saw Nagato walking to school and then running away almost wanting to vomit because of the bad memories she had there.

AND WHEN DOREMI AND THE OTHERS HELPED HER COME BACK TO SCHOOL, I love that they gave her time to get USED to it. I love that she hasn’t completely gotten over it but now thanks to her friends, she can attend school now. Her being taught in the clinic is a small step but damn did that single step change her life for good.

This is what I love about this show. THIS is what I love to see more in media. It showed that mentally ill kids shouldnt be ignored no matter how small the problem is. It shows that people with this similar type of disroder matter and shouldnt be ignored. For her going to school was a struggle but now thanks to support, she can finally GO to school just like how she wanted.

Hi, I saw your post about declawing cats, and I absolutely understand that declawing just for furniture is awful, but my parents declawed the front paws of our cat not the back. Not for furniture, but because my mom had psoriasis and cuts from cats can sometimes make her grow new psoriasis spots since her skin is so sensitive. I just want to know what you have to say about that.

While I understand the motive to declaw the cat, it still doesn’t really make it okay. Declawing a cat isn’t just removing their claws—it’s amputating the last bone of each toe. “On a human, that’d be like snipping off your fingers at the first knuckle.” You can imagine how painful that sounds!

There are some “good” seeming motives to declawing cats, yours stated…but the teeth of cats, their litter/feces and fleas are far worse for the owner’s health than their claws. Instead of declawing your cat, you could have trimmed its nails, or taught it where to scratch, like on a scratching post.

(I understand that the cat might accidentally scratch somebody due to it being frightened or antsy, but trimming the claws every four to six weeks would make the scratches much less deep and painful.)

After a cat is declawed, not only do they lose their main source of protection if they happen to get loose, but it also causes permanent damage to their bodies. They are at risk for long-term effects of lameness, behavioral problems, pain in their paws whenever they walk, infection, tissue death, and back pain. Cats need their claws because they walk on their toes, not on their heels like humans do. Declawing forever changes the way their foot meets the ground.

Another side effect is that the claws can even grow back inside the paws, and in some cases, the feline will become more aggressive, and will even use the bathroom outside of the litter box because of the discomfort it causes.

Cat’s scratch because they need to, not because they want to destroy stuff. They scratch to shed the dead husks on their claws, to mark their territory with the scent glands in their paws, and to stretch when they get the urge. Removing a cat’s claws in no way benefits the animal. It’s a painful procedure that can lead to side effects that can last the rest of the cat’s life.

And yes, there are alternatives like nail caps, but those aren’t really the best option, either. If left on for too long without allowing the cat to scratch, the husks on the claws could grow to an uncomfortable thickness, and the inability to scratch will stress the poor kitty out!

To make things short, declawing is a painful, unnecessary process. If scratching concerns you, trim your cat’s nails, or put nail caps on when you want to cuddle the cat to avoid skin being scratched. Just be sure to take them off so kitty can scratch its scratching post. Cats need to use their claws whether we like it or not, and the pain that a cat goes through during and after declawing isn’t worth the process!

Thank you for the concerned message, though! I hope this helped a bit!

how would My Boys react to a sole with adhd who touches Everything and chews things that maybe should not be chewed

Honestly Me Too

preston:

this boy would see sole doing this and would have to resist the urge to join them. he knows they’ve got the same thing as him, but he’s never seen it as a problem. he’s got ways to work around, and he thinks it’s time he shares his secrets with them.

he confides in them one evening when he stumbles upon them chewing on some old plastic toy. he immediately swipes it away and, when sole tries to protest, presents them with a different option; a clean plastic bottle cap. those were always the best to chew on, he told them, especially if you had plenty and knew when to spit them out if they began to fall apart. having pics of that stuff in your mouth wasn’t good for you, he’d say, and show sole his stash of clean plastic caps.

they share the stash and, if they ever find any while travelling, take them to pres so he can clean it right.

hancock:

honestly, he joins sole in touching everything too. he likes doing it, likes feeling the weird textures of everything, just like them. he often touches his own face to feel how the skin is. sure he may not like how he looks, but he really likes how he feels. he really digs mentats, not really for their taste or how they make one feel, but for how nice and chewy they were. he especially likes the grape kind, just because he always felt they were chewier than the rest.

when he finds sole chewing on an old straw that was in the falling apart diner they were in, he made an off comment about that being bad hygiene and that he would suggest trying some gum instead (the radioactive part of it didn’t strike him at the time. it’s not like it ever bothered him, honestly)

eventually they found a solution together, it being a baby’s teething ring they found when they went to a superduper mart. sole seemed pleased with it, so much so that hank wanted one too.

Banjo is the only person on earth that notices the letters on the fullbottle caps and uses those to figure out the best matches.

He just doesn’t say anything because he thinks it’s hilarious that Sento can’t figure it out on his own.

@aarontveitmybroadwayboyfriend here are my 5 fave pics of Aaron. This took way to long to narrow down the initial “favorites” (like 50) to just 5 but I am happy with the final ones. A little bit of everything. 😍🔥❤️💋😘

Because they’re totally the same thing.
