Keith nearly died twice (on his mission when the Galra ship exploded and when he was going to sacrifice himself to save everyone in the last epi) and the Voltron team has no idea and they treated him so horribly. I have so many feelings, mostly anger lol.

Tbh?? Keith probably almost died a lot more often than that, these were just 2 examples we saw on screen. He was on a months long mission with the Blade (that we saw nothing of) while team Voltron performed shows to gain new allies. I seriously doubt that he only came close to death these 2 times.

About team Voltron… I think what people don’t see is that both sides are kind of at fault here. Look at how Keith acted in episode 1 - he just disappeared from time to time without regard for his friends. The team would have died had Shiro not managed to pilot the black lion and in comparison to the times where Keith almost died on the BoM missions, the team did not choose it.

However, as you said here, the team is also at fault. They didn’t listen to Keith’s concerns ((probably because he said the same things for months already. Keith mentioned that they hadn’t seen Lotor in months in episode 1)). When he came back from a mission, they didn’t even try to understand why he went there or what he went through. Remember the “I don’t need a lecture, Allura”? And Allura was like “no, I heard what happened on your mission, I’m sorry” but then proceeded to lecture him anyways?

The team treated Keith unfair. Keith treated the team unfair too. There was a serious lack of communication between them. The team never listened to Keith and Keith never listened to them. I think what we saw in e1 was an accumulation of many similar but smaller events that happened over the months that passed between seasons. At the end of s3 the team wasn’t perfect but they were closer than they were at the beginning of s4.

Just. Yeah. Both parties are at fault here. It just hurts more because on one side there’s the team and on the other side there is Keith, alone, without any understanding of his worth as a person :’) They really need to make an effort to understand each other even when someone isn’t on the verge of a breakdown - because when there’s a breakdown, it’s already too late.

3. “Could you be happy, here, with me?”

 “Credit for your thoughts, Sweetheart.”

Leia was leaning back in the booth at the dejarik table, her bare feet propped up on a crate, Han’s borrowed shirt hanging loosely on her shoulders. They were starting to run out of things to fix on this crate, so these quiet afternoons were becoming more and more frequent.

She sat up a bit and idly stirred the tea she’d been drinking. “I was just thinking,” she said.

Han grinned and leaned in closer. “I know that. The credit’s to find about what.”

Leia sipped her tea and leaned back again. “Hmm,” she said noncommittally.

Han frowned and held back a little. Maybe I’ve stepped in it. “Heavy thoughts, or not so heavy thoughts?” he asked.

She looked at him carefully before answering. “Actually,” she said, “I was having a little fantasy.”

“Oh yeah?” He drew closer again, raising an eyebrow.

Leia shook her head, though she was smiling. “Sorry, Sweetheart,” she said, imitating his usual speech pattern, “not that kind of fantasy.”

“Huh,” he said. He scooted closer to her, putting up his feet next to hers. They were both quiet for a few minutes.

Not looking at him, she spoke again. “What if we just ran away?”

“Ran away?”

“After Bespin. After we get the ship fixed. What if we just—never went back to the fleet?”

Han moved to put an arm around her, but all he said was, “Huh,” again.

“They’ve probably already moved on from the rendezvous point. Who knows whether we’d even be able to find the fleet at this point,” she reasoned. She leaned into Han’s shoulder. “We could just go on the run together.”

“You and me,” he said.

She nodded. “And Chewie, as long as he still wants to.”

“He goes where I go. We should take him home to visit, though.”

“We could do that. I’ve never been to Kashyyk.” Leia seemed to really be getting into this idea. “Maybe we could hide out there for a while.”

“Malla would like you,” Han said. “Probably better ‘n me,” and Leia laughed. “So, we’d just run around the galaxy?”

“Maybe pick up a smuggling job or two to pay the bills,” Leia said, snuggling closer to him. “Keep this old ship from falling apart.”

“Fix ‘er up a little, maybe win a race or two,” Han suggested.

“Ah, that’s the spirit. That reminds me—” she said, punching him playfully in the arm— “you’re supposed to be teaching me how to fly this thing.”

“Hey, ‘s not my fault we keep getting distracted,” he said, giving her a gentle kiss on the neck.

She arched a brow at him. “It’s a little bit your fault we keep getting distracted,” she said, and then promptly disproved her own point by pulling him down into a kiss.

After a few minutes, he pulled away and looked at her, suddenly struck with the seriousness of their situation. “Could you be happy here, with me?” he asked.

She blinked at him, and got that look she always did when she was considering something carefully. So, even though she seemed like she was surprised by it herself, he believed her when she said, “You know, I think I could. I really do.”

can you believe that last weekend I mentioned on twitter how helpful it would be to have a canon ref of grown up eren for my comic and now my life will never be the same again

There was an…incident…involving the cat jumping onto my desk straight into my mixing palette of liquid ink, and me dropping my brush right into the middle of this…

[I’ve decided not to kill myself trying to keep up with inktober - I just have too much going on right now <3]
