Theo didn’t really like his job. He liked being out in the field where he could face the  grimm head on and y'know, kill things. When he got assigned to Beacon, He didn’t think he would be stuck being a class aid. But maybe a certain kitsune could make his job a lot better.

On the eve of the engagement feast of the newly crowned King of Beacon, Scott McCall of the House of True and the Lady Allison Argent. Allison was granted a boon as is custom on Beacon. She asked for the banishment of Omega Prince Nyctimus Stilinski, (other wise know as Stiles)Son of the House of Sheriff and Lord Nogitsune, from the planet of Beacon.

This was shocking to the court for all new that the prince was suppose to bond with the king to create an heir for the throne. Stiles though had been more than willing to step aside for Scott to marry Allison, but knew that the king’s and his child would be the heir…as Stiles father had planed years ago. Stiles knew there was only one place he could go…Planet Triskele. The prince knew he would be welcomed by Queen Talia Hale because of past deeds of valor he had done for her world. What the Prince didn’t know was how the Queen’s son, Derek Hale, would react to seeing him again.

“Come. With. Me.” Well, apparently he isn’t familiar with the concept of asking. There goes Stiles’ fantasy about guy with a perfect body and the ability to form questions. Damn it.

Not-so-perfect guy is clearly tired of not asking him so nicely and takes Stiles’ arm and starts pulling him in the direction of an exit.

“What the fuck, man?” His grip is strong enough to prevent Stiles from getting away, but not strong enough to hurt him. In spite of a lack of any chance of retrieving his freedom, he still tries to wrench himself free and shouts at the guy. Stiles catches some man’s attention and gestures at the hand on his arm. The man only mouths “good job” and gives him thumbs up.

For fucks sake.

Destruction in Their Wake by SterekHalelinski

(50,753 I Explicit I WIP)  *sterek, Supernatural crossover, magic!Stiles, major character death

Stiles has magic, the inheritance of his mother’s cursed bloodline.  Being an empath is one of his many abilities—he can “read” soulmarks and can, if given the opportunity, tell more than just who someone is going to end up with.  He can glimpse into parts of their future; how they meet, and even as far as how they die.  It all just depends on how long he’s afforded contact with one of the matching marks.  Stiles read his once, against his mother’s warnings, and he now carries a heavy burden with him always.

You Don’t Always Get What You Want by deadly_nightshade, Nerdy_fangirl_57

(56,479 I Mature I WIP)   *sterek, high school au

Stiles doesn’t understand what he could have done to deserve this. Not only has the entire student body been out to get him since he first stepped foot into Beacon Hills High, but now he has to endure the constant bullying without his best friend Scott by his side. All in all school is survivable, even with all the harassment. That is until he finds out that Derek Hale, basketball superstar and Stiles’ most persistent bully, is apparently his soulmate. Fan-fucking-tastic.

Derek can’t believe this. It has to be a joke, it has to, because there is no way in hell that a freak like Stilinski could ever be his soulmate. He despises him more than anyone in the universe. So what if Derek thinks he has a cute nose, no one needs to know. Besides it doesn’t matter anyway, he still hates Stilinski with every fiber of his being, his cute nose doesn’t change a thing.

Biologically, Stiles is weak. When he presented as an omega, he knew that to be the truth but that never stopped him from running his mouth as a defense mechanism. However, it could only save him so many times before he ended up pissing off the wrong person. After he’s attacked in the parking lot outside of school, Stiles realizes he can no longer protect himself with just pure wit and sarcasm. When the attack lands him in the hospital, his dad forces him to pick between two options, report the alphas who attacked him or join a kickboxing gym run by omega rights activist and alpha, Derek Hale, a man Stiles has been in love with for many years.

anonymous asked:

Why does it seem like dazai has his own harem?

Well, maybe I’m not the best person to answer this, because I’m not Dazai’s #1 fan. If I have to be completely honest, it took me a very long time to tolerate him, even longer when it came to actually like him.

I can’t deny that it’s true, everyone seem to have a crush on him and I wondered why, because I really couldn’t find an answer to that question, a reason for all of them to be so utterly obsessed with him. To me, he was just a dramatic asshole who was taking advantage of everyone’s weaknesses.

But now I’m watching BSD for the second time, and maybe I found some answers. Dazai is like an upgraded version of Oikawa. He could be treated as the best character ever or as the most toxic of them all.

They have so much in common if you think about it. Dazai is strong, perfectly aware of his abilities, scary, manipulative, the team mastermind, he likes to toy with people and he always acts according to an ulterior motive. At the same time, he’s probably the most charismatic character in BSD, he’s beautiful, a natural leader, charming, funny, sometimes even an adorable dork. In one word: irresistible.

It’s incredible to look at the effect Dazai has on people:

  • you have Chuuya who’s still fixated on him after FOUR YEARS, he says he hates him but at the same time he put his own life in Dazai hands literally the fist time they went back on a mission together (???????)
  • you have Akutagawa, for whom my hear aches every time. His only life purpose is to be validated by him and honestly Dazai look what you have done to this child, he’s permanently emotionally bruised
  • you have Kunikida who’s constantly annoyed by him but at the same time he always gets along with his tantrums
  • you have Atsushi who thank god is the only one who seems to take none of his shit, despite having had his “Dazai phase” as well in the very beginning. (THE PINKIES IN THE ED HONESTLYYYYYYYY)
  • you have Fukuzawa who’s quite fond of him too and lets him do basically whatever he wants
  • Even our constantly unenthusiastic Ranpo seem to to enjoy working with Dazai (tbh their relationship is quite endearing, I feel like Dazai has a soft spot for him somehow)
  • The only person who had a normal relationship with Dazai was Oda but of course he’s dead

He may not be the official protagonist of BSD, but Dazai is for sure the center of everyone’s attention. Every turning point in the story revolves around him, every single thing that happens just follows his big mental plan. He has that attitude of his, he looks so carefree and uncaring that every time he shows some affection people feel like they’ve been blessed by some kind of god.

To answer your question, I don’t know why they all love him so much. It’s just the Dazai effect, I guess.

and he’s a fine pice of ass ok we can’t deny that I mean look at him

How I Think It Should’ve Ended

So I have a little confession to make: I always look at spoilers before I actually watch the episode. So when I heard the reaction to watch the finale and how it happened…I was reluctant to even watch it. And I’ll be honest, I didn’t watch most of the episode. I only watched the ending to see just how bad it could be.

This is pretty bleak because I only thought of it today, but here’s the barest bones of what I think the finale should have worked out:

-There should be a few more episodes with Yuya dueling Yushou like we wanted, or maybe replacing the duel with Reiji with Yushou completely

-Sometime in the duel, since Reira finally got his (or her?) smile back, Ray’s spirit has enough resonance or something that it causes Yuya to fall into the astral plane (or that little space he was in when Zarc took over)

-Yuya and Yuzu and the rest of the counterparts actually all find each other, like see they’re all gathered together, though the rest of the world can see them (or something)

-The spirits of Zarc and Ray appear

-Zarc talks to the Yu boys and says something along the lines of Yuya showing him the real meaning of entertainment and bringing smiles to people (yes its cliche, sue me) or like his soul is at peace or something; basically anything that let’s the Yu boys fucking keep living on

-Ray thanks Yuya for all he’s done and for perservering; maybe her and Leo have a moment where Leo apologizes for all he’s done (bear with me hear- think of like Dr Faker and Tron), and Ray basically says nothing can change what’s been done, but that she’ll always be with him in spirit or something (Leo can still choke on a dick but its a start)

-Maybe something about fusing the dimensions because that shit really needs to get fixed

-Basically Zarc and Ray will live on in spirit with all the kids

-Yuya continues the duel, this time bringing out something like Astrograph Magician to finally bring the dimensions back together

-The time he’s joined by the Yu boys, and Yuzu and the Bracelet girls PHYSICALLY, who chant as he brings out each of the dragons or something, and hell maybe even the En cards cuz why not (or something that resembles the Bracelet girls bcuz goddammit they’re important)

-He gives a grand finale, finally beating Yushou

-As the duel ends, the Yu boys and bracelet girls all take a bow, and everyone cheers

-Astrograph Magician works its magic again and makes things right

-KUROSAKI SHUN IS REUNITED WITH HIS LITTLE SISTER AND BEST FRIEND BECAUSE HE DIDN’T FUCKING FALL DOWN STAIRS AND TRAVEL ACROSS DIMENSIONS FOR NOTHING GODDAMMIT

-Maybe the ending’s a slice of life (yes I’m totally going off of Zexal’s ending), where all the Yu boys and bracelet girls interact and are all friends

-The Yu boys are all brothers in this fixed universe, while Yuzu and the bracelet girls are sisters, or cousins

-The last scene is maybe Yushou and Yuya in a tag duel, as its Yuya’s first duel as a certified entertainment duelist

-Reira is back to his original stature, but this time is smiling and holds his head up high as he watches with Reiji, Himika, and Leo

-Yuzu and the rest of the reincarnations watch with Yoko and Shuzou and all their friends

-Pan a shot of everyone in the series watching from the stands

-Nico Smiley and Melissa Claire are narrating partners

-The final shot is Yushou and Yuya narrating in sync as they summon their ace monster

-All is well

Like I said, it’s still the most general form, but personally I think it does a hell of a lot better job than the ending

i know that subplot is supposed to be campy (i guess? is campy even the word?) and not something to be taken that seriously but… idk how you’re supposed to watch all the antics and romances in thoroughly modern millie and not be thinking the whole time “ok millie got her steno job and that girl from the beginning is being raped… mmm she might be in love with that dude and the girl from the beginning is still being raped…” like wtf. obviously i’m sensitive about these kinds of things but at the part when the only price the villain could get for the older woman was $150 i was almost crying

Power Rangers Spoilers

Just got back from watching the new Power Rangers movie and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I honestly went in expecting the movie to be absolutely terrible and really only went for nostalgia reasons, but I came away pretty dang happy with the movie. There were a few things that could have been done better (as I’ll explain later) but there are a lot more things that were done very, very well. So let’s do this because why not.

Pros:
-The representation. I think this goes without saying. The representation in this movie is awesome and very nice to see in a film.

-Billy. Billy was amazing in the originals and he is even more amazing in this movie. He is absolutely adorable and smart and is truly the heart of the Power Rangers and I think this movie did a fantastic job of showing that.

-All the throwbacks. Not gonna lie, I could not hold back my grin of delight when the “Go, Go Power Rangers!” theme came on. That was a fantastic moment and really the best part of the movie because, come on, nothing beats that old theme. But all the other throwbacks and references to the original series like “Make my monster grow” just made the movie so much better.

-The cameos. Say what you want, but it made me very happy to see Jason David Frank and Amy Jo Johnston show up after the big battle. That’s a cameo done right.

-The big battle. While there were some small things I didn’t like, that battle was epic. Just pleased all around.

-The character development. They did a really fantastic job with showing the character development throughout the entirety of the movie. The training sequences helped this along, which was something they didn’t have in the original series. I thought the character development was very nice, and can only continue to improve in any follow up movies.

-Zordon’s backstory and characterization. I’m sure there are some people who didn’t like this, but I actually really enjoyed the rather dark version of Zordon and I loved the backstory that was given to him. His character development was pretty good and I really liked Zordon in this movie.

-That mid-credit scene. Ignore my inner fangirl, but TOMMY FREAKING OLIVER!!! Ok, fangirling over. But sorry, I was that girl growing up and regardless of what people say, Tommy is still my favorite character and I am super excited to see what happens in the next movie.

Cons:

-Alpha V. I’m sorry, but Alpha just looked off, sounded off, just the entire thing was off. I enjoyed the return of his catchphrase, but I just did not like this version of Alpha. Like at all.

-Zordon’s wall. I enjoyed Zordon and his characterization, but that wall looked like those little nail games where you press your hand into it and the imprint is left. It was a bit to distracting and I’d rather it have been the odd fishbowl then the nail-imprint thing.

-The camera shots. This is a really picky thing, but in the beginning of the movie there were a lot of odd camera angle shots. For example, when Jason is frantically riding his bike the camera zooms in on the bike and the road. I really just did not like that camera shot or any similar to it. Luckily they quit those odd shots by the end of the movie so that was nice.

-The sudden transition from the secrets-by-the-fire scene and Rita attacking Trini. One moment they are by the fire and the next minute Trini is waking up in bed. I was so confused because I was under the impression that they were all sleeping by the fire, but then they were all at home. I’m sure there was a scene cut out between them, but this just threw me for a loop. Did not like that sudden leap at all.

-Goldar. Goldar was literally my favorite villain in the original series, but this Goldar didn’t really seem like Goldar. Sure he liked like him, but that was about it. I was hoping for the sassy fiend that also kicks butt and instead got lava monster. Just disappointing.

Uncertain:

-Rita. I’m still not certain how I feel about Rita and Elizabeth Bank’s portrayal of her. While by the end of the movie I did greatly enjoy her portrayal, at the beginning I just wasn’t feeling it. I think if I see this movie again that might change, but we’ll see.

-The MegaZord. Not gonna lie, I was grinning like a fool when the MegaZord showed up, but it just looked off. I liked that they fell and showed that they needed to work together, but I didn’t like that they weren’t all in one little command center of the Zord. The MegaZord’s face also looked like a weird blue gorilla or a villain from the original series instead of the MegaZord. I get that they wanted it to be different then the original, but not sure how I feel about it.

So that’s about it for my review of the new Power Rangers movie. Despite the cons, I still really enjoyed the movie and if you were wondering whether or not to go watch it, just go. Even if you don’t enjoy it as much as I did, it is still a great reminder of childhood. Also, if anyone wants to talk about this movie, feel free to message me! I’d love to chat!

i was sitting on my couch, in tears, and my dad, an Old Liberal, sits down next to me and he says

‘i know i can’t say anything that will make any of this better, but i want you to know that, in 1980, when i was 18 years old, i watched the country elect ronald reagan, and i was just as devastated as you are now. it felt like everyone had gone insane. my friends and i joked about moving to canada or japan or england, just like you are with your friends. i was angry then, and i’m still a little bitter now, but I got through it. we all did. donald trump is not ronald reagan, i know, but if i can get through it, so can you.’

anyway that soothed my hurt a miniscule amount, hope it soothes you a bit

Thought of the day (while reading a “gender marketing” translation with painfully outdated views): I am really, really sick of us only talking about “gender” when women are involved.

A surprising number of important realizations could be made if we develop the habit of talking about gender dynamics even – perhaps especially – in the context of all-male or mostly-male groups.

How does it affect productivity, public image, collaboration, negotiating, client acquisition, etc. to have any group of people involved be entirely men? What effects does this drastic gender imbalance cause in its environment?

LET’S TALK ABOUT GENDER AND MEN, PEOPLE. Gender is not an exclusively female domain.

Me, interviewing the director of basically any film ever: “So let’s talk about the extreme gender imbalance in the casting of this film. What was the thinking behind that? Was there a particular statement you were trying to make, a satirical observation on the politics of society, perhaps? That kind of came out of left field, when we watched the film and all the parts but one were men. Can you tell us a little about the background of that?”

Director: “Um… I didn’t actually consciously think that much abou–”

Me, interrupting: “Come now, don’t be modest! That was a fascinating artistic decision! The drastic disparity between the number of men and the number of women in the film makes it clear to even the most casual viewer that gender is a central theme in this story. Can we delve into that a little bit further?”

Director: “…”

This would be a fun tack to take in regard to race, too.

“I noticed something very interesting about your film, which is that every single one of the leading roles is played by a white actor. Clearly there’s some conceptual message you want to communicate with this creative choice. Could you talk about that?”

Director: *sweats nervously*

So I went to Walmart and.....

I was pushing the cart and suddenly this little girl stood in the middle of the aisle with her hands stretched out and her face saying, “You shall not pass.” So I literally stand there for 5 seconds while her parents are just stood there watching and I go around her to the next aisle and when I looked back she had that face of defeat and all I could think of is imagine your otp.

honestly I think my favorite thing about Jasper is that she’s such a fucking drama hoe

So far she has:

-gotten a cape specially made for the sole purpose of wanting to look dramatic and fabulous in front of her enemies.

- put on eyeliner for a fight.

-literally paused what she was doing just so “Rose” could take a menacing picture of her, before disappearing into the unknown.

- made an exit walking backwards into the ocean, and paused to say a one liner before sinking down completely when it was so totally unnecessary of her to do so.

If/ when Jasper gets redeemed all I’m saying is peridot is gonna have good run for her money in terms of the biggest dork in the group

You know when I first started watching Yuri on Ice, I never even imagine this series will give all that it did, will never have thought this series was going to take the chances it took. They were not afraid to produce something others wouldn’t even dare think about, they gave us such a fascinating love story, they gave us a world with which many could identify. And it just kept going, it just kept giving us such unbelievable moments that it didn’t seem real. I’ll never be thankful enough to everyone who was involve in this production, the people who created this world. After everything, regardless of its ending, I can finally say, from the bottom of my heart YOI’s definitely one of the best series I’ve ever had the pleasure to come across.

what Yuri really meant?

I just watched ep11 and can I just say something?

I don’t think Yuri wants to break up with Victor, why?

let’s leave all the negative emotions throughout the episode aside and focus on the last scene and preview

when he told victor that he wants to end it which could mean many things besides ending a relationship. In fact to break up is a whole different word which is ‘wakare’ and Yuri said ‘Owari ni shio’

what I think is that Yuri meant is either

a. Them being a coach and student but they’d still be together. Maybe Yuri saw the way Victor watched the others skate and felt like Victor wanted to go back to skating? because just look at Victor’s face while he watched them skate! and Yuri probably can understand what Victor feels by now. So, when Yuri said it’s the final event, he meant the final show as them being a coach and student

b. this is a wild guess (but kubo sensei is full of surprises) and maybe Yuri meant coming out as a couple? because look at what he said in the preview

now (if you watched too many animes or jdramas like you had no life like me) this would sound like something one of the couple saying before stepping into a more positive step in their relationship

ps. Victor’s face does not show a shocked expression of someone who was asked to break up but rather is surprised by the request. so It could be both theories

also

idk if I am looking too much into this but the curtains and light are a symbol to opening up to a better future.

I highly doubt the show would end with a break up, kubo had recommended watching the last episode after credits. so I am sure she has a great surprise for us

edit: after coming to more realization, I remembered there is a duet version of stay close to me on the ost so maybe it is for them to skate to on the last episode and they decide to be a pair skating team instead of coach and athlete?

another edit: seems like pair skating for pairs of the same gender is not allowed but I still think that the after credit scene Kubo recommended us to watch is them pair skating to stay close to me. so maybe after GPF is finished and late at night they go in there alone and skate to it?

The trail mix was gone.

The nice, expensive trail mix, with twelve kinds of nuts and the big sunflower seeds and dried fruits, the kind Tony only rarely left sitting on the common floors for everyone to get at, was gone.

Clint had been looking forward to that stuff all morning

All the way through a hellish morning “jog” with Steve, all through Nat handing him his ass on the training mats, all through firing the same batch of misweighted arrows over and over so Tony could take scans and fix the design, he’d been thinking, when this is done I get to go upstairs and hang out on the couch and watch Dog Cops and eat the good trail mix, guilt-free.

And it was gone.

Clint was gonna shoot somebody.

Just as soon as he figured out who’d taken the trail mix.

Does anybody else remember a time, long long ago, when you could just enjoy things?

You could watch a movie and just appreciate it instead of over analyzing every single scene to make sure there’s nothing remotely offensive about it.

You could have a favorite character and just like them and appreciate how great they were written and portrayed, without being told you’re terrible because they’re a villain. Even though they’re FICTIONAL and most likely were deliberately written to be likable. (Even if they were written as an evil character, I still think you have a right to like them, but maybe that’s just me)

You could love and be a fan of the actors without having to go full on FBI agent, looking into their backgrounds to make sure they are 100% perfect and had never made a mistake ever.

You could post about said actor without some busybody little fandom cop, slithering into your inbox to tell you(all too happily) that your fave is “problematic” (god, I fucking hate that word), and you’re disgusting if you still like them.

I’m in my 30’s so I remember those good ole days and it’s kind of sad to know, that most of you will never truly know how great that was. That’s a time long since forgotten. Bummer.
