this took me too much time

Dromund Kaas.

I love Dromund Kaas. I love it for the varied environments and its general personality and how there are sidequests hidden in a stretch of jungle just outside of Kaas City that took me multiple Imperial playthroughs to finally discover, and I love it especially in comparison to Coruscant.

I mean, I’m deeply glad that I started TOR with a Sith character, because Korriban > Dromund Kaas is the best pair of starting planets: they’re not tricky to navigate (Ord Mantell, Hutta and Tython, I’m looking at you), they are actually interesting to explore (unlike Coruscant), and did I mention the fact that this is one of the few planets featuring more than one type of environment?

And have you checked out those stormy skies with the lightning and thunder?

I totally dig the contrast of gleaming cityscape, rugged jungle with rivers and caves and waterfalls, and ancient ruins populated by vengeful spirits and possessed victims.

Let me just rant for a sec

So in the most recent episode of The Flash, Barry got some pretty cool upgrades for the suit, right? And Wally, as he called attention to, didn’t.

So in the final scene where Barry and Wally fought the big bad and he took control of Barry’s newly electrified suit, why did they not go the simple, obvious route that would put the spotlight on Wally West. My boy has spent too much time on the back burner recently.

Why did they leave him knocked out in the corner for the whole scene, while Barry ran around like my dogs when they go outside?

I for sure thought that they would have Wally just take the antidote/poison and administer it since Barry was out of commission.

Give my boy Wally some recognition and let him be the star for one episode. Please and thank you.

100 intentional things: day twenty-five

i had an award show today and probably for once in my life i actually took my sweet time getting ready instead of rushing. i washed my hair early enough for it to fully air-dry, i left myself enough time to do my makeup, i didn’t fuss too much over what i was going to wear and i even took time to moisturise. the little pampering session was complimented with hot chocolate and it made me feel fab tbh

"I-I guess I'll trust you. A lot of the time when people are being vague to me, it's something scary... But, with all your amazing skills, there's got to be something you like that I do too! As long as you're okay with being much better than me, I'm not too good at a lot of things. I still enjoy myself though!"

"Well, to be frank with you, buddy, I’m not sure if we’ve even got that much in common in terms of interests: what I could and would call ‘fun’ is probably far different from what you’d enjoy. We’ve got different tastes in entertainment, ya know. But that’s besides the point there. There’s tons of things you’ve got an upper hand at compared to me; don’t doubt yourself, pal. But hey, if you’re willing to come up with… something we could do, I’m all ears.“

“I was on a leadership team in 5th grade. At the end of the year we were supposed to take a trip to Washington DC. We held fundraisers and everything. But when it was time to go, I didn’t have the identification papers to buy a plane ticket. So our teacher Ms. Rivera decided that we’d take a bus. Just so I could go too. That trip changed my life. It made me want to be a lawyer. And Ms. Rivera became one of the closest people in my life. She always kept in touch. She basically watched me grow up. One time in high school I got in a huge fight with my mom, and Ms. Rivera came and took me on a long car ride. I started to tell her everything. I told her about a recent break-up, and how I smoked weed, and ‘I did this,’ and ‘I did that.’ She just listened to everything. Then she started telling me about her life too. She told me that she’d been in an abusive relationship. I’d always thought her life was perfect because she was a guidance counselor. But she’d been through so much too. When it was came time to apply for college, Ms. Rivera was the one who helped me apply for DACA. She told me about the scholarship. I didn’t even want to apply. I was ready to give up. I’d just accepted that I’d always work in restaurants like my mom. But Ms. Rivera made me apply. She said: ‘What happened to that girl who wanted to be a lawyer?’ I learned that I got the scholarship in February. They’re paying for my entire college. Ms. Rivera was so proud of me. She kept saying: ‘I told you so.’”
