little lady, come and fade me[jonxsansa, bordello/crime au]
2. and all this devotion was rushing over me
(chapter title from “never let me go, by florence + the machine)
Six months prior to the events of chapter 1, Jon shows up in the frontroom of Petyr’s bordello to find just what he’s been looking for since the deaths of Ned and Catelyn Stark: their daughter, Sansa.
As hot water rushes into the tub and steam fills the room, Sansa turns to Jon, looks him up and down, and says, “Strip.”
Jon gapes at her. “What? You don’t see me for three years and the first thing you do is tell me to take my clothes off?”
“We’re in a whorehouse, if you hadn’t noticed,” Sansa snaps in hushed tones. Her eyes flick about the room; however safe she feels, she can never be sure. “Besides, you look like you’ve just crawled out of a swamp. You can’t leave still looking like that, or I’ll have to answer a million questions about what we did if we weren’t fucking.”
“Sansa, I don’t mean to leave here without you—”
“Shut up and take off your pants.”
“Bossy thing, aren’t you?” Jon grumbles, but obliges all the same. Whatever makes her happy, he thinks. It had always been about making Sansa happy; he had come looking for her to keep her safe.
