this should make you want to watch the movie

Be my girlfriend because:

-I’ll buy/make you food
-Staying in and watching a movie is always an option
-I will surprise you with flowers for no reason other than I love you
-Cuddles, all the time
-We can be nerds and geek out over stupid things together
-I’ll (try to) harmonize with you while singing in the car
-Sad? We can make out. Happy? We can make out.
-I’ll rub your butt
-We can treat dogs like our babies
-I’ll protect you from anything scary
-I’ll never ask for anything except a genuine smile
-We can take naps together, any time of day

“Look, just look at this! This is what we could be doing but you rather watch it on TV for some reason!”

“… I’ll go make some food”

“No… Anything but this on a movie date at her place…”

Chris Evans helping you through a panic attack would include:

  • Sitting really close to you
  • Putting your head on his shoulder
    • sighing really loud in a sort of pouty way because he hates seeing you like this
  • “hey, babe”
  • rubbing your shoulder
  • “i know. i know.”
    • he just keeps talking in a deep, soothing voice
  • he gets teary-eyed
  • “i’ve got you. shh. you’re all right, I’m here, okay?”
  • stroking your hair and nuzzling closer to you
  • after you calmed down he would ask what you want
    • doting on you for HOURS
      • “want me to draw you a bath, love?”
      • “I can make you some tea, you want some tea?
      • “We can watch your favorite movie! Does that sound good?”
    • he just wants to make it better
  • kissing all over your face until you start laughing
    • “god, i love that sound”
  • he seriously would not stop kissing you
    • “you” kiss “deserve” kiss “all the happiness”
  • cuddling and talking to you about anything
    • “we should go to iceland and get some sheep. some icelandic sheep, wouldn’t that be nice? and you could wear a Lil Bo Peep outfit!”
  • He just loves you and wants you to be happy

(I take requests)

I miss the days where you liked something for what it was or you didn’t. Nowadays people want to watch and read things and if it’s not according to their liking, they start to dictate how it should be, instead of respecting other people’s hard work and go find something they actually like. Even worse - they make the experience difficult for people who actually enjoy that, just as it is, be it a TV show, a movie, a book. I don’t know what happened to this generation, but we’re a bunch of spoiled brats behind computer screens trying to control everything and everyone. It’s time to face it, kids, the world doesn’t revolve around us and what entertains us.

DON'T S 2.0

* Don’t message me “Hi”, “Hey” , “Yo” or some other simple shit. That won’t get my attention in a good way. It’s just saying, “you about to waste my time and I should block you”.

* Don’t ask to make any type of movie, if you don’t have pornstar paying money. So college boys, and unemployed people please don’t waste your time.

* Don’t ask how I can help get you into the porn biz.

* Don’t send unwanted dick pics. If I want to see it I WILL ASK. Don’t ask to send one, don’t ask for my opinion about your dick. You just might not like the truth.

* Don’t say you a fan when you never supported #teamchevy. Watching my porn online, on free websites doesn’t make you a fan. You just like watching bbws.

* Don’t message me just to “chat”, if a conversation isn’t beneficial for me then I won’t waste my time with it. I’m friendly but not that friendly.

* Don’t email me if it’s not about business

* Don’t ask about specific details about where I’m from. That shit is stalker status and super creepy. Just know I’m from Jersey.

I may seem like a bitch but I’m actually a sweetheart. I just don’t like stupidity or my time wasted.

Hate on ships

Things i think about at 2am. Sorry for the long post. Usually i don’t make this kind of posts but…

You know what really annoys me?
Hate on ships.
Even if it’s on a ship I dislike, it still annoys me.
I get it. You dislike this ship and you think they should never be together for any reason in the world, I understand it, there are ships I dislike or even hate too. But it isn’t a reason to post hate, there is never a reason to post hate.
How would you feel if your ship tag was full of hate? Not so good I believe. So please don’t make other people feel this way.
Think about it this way, You watch the same movie/series, playing the same game or reading the same book and still have different perspective and views of it and the relationships between the characters and want them to be happy. I think it’s beautiful.

It’s time to make a change. I’m sick of it. And if you sick about it too. Do something. And I don’t mean to post hate back. it won’t solve the problem and it can even increase it. I mean to talk with them politely or just make a post like this or reblog it. Let’s bring this subject up again so a change will happen.

Thank you so much for reading this.

Please. If you have something to add to this, more ships to tag or just want to comment about it. do it.

April Witch

Desirée wants to know who stole her life. Institutionalised since early childhood due to severe disabilities, she lies in her hospital bed making plans. She can neither walk nor talk, but she has special abilities. Desirée is an ‘April witch’, which means that she’s able to see through other creatures’ eyes and can make them take her wherever she wants to. In her quest to find out which of her three foster sisters has stolen her life, Desirée becomes an invisible presence in their lives, following them, biding her time.

Simon Larsson grows up in a working-class family in Gothenburg in the 1940s. World War II is raging. Simon’s father is a man of principles and strong views; his mother runs the home with love and warmth. But they are not his biological parents. Simon finds out that he was adopted and that his real father is Jewish. At school, Simon meets Isak Lentov, the son of a rich Jewish bookkeeper. The Lentovs, who fled from Nazi Germany before the war, becomes closely linked to Simon’s own family as the two boys make the transition from childhood to adulthood.

The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out of the Window and Disappeared

(Hundraåringen som klev ut genom fönstret och försvann) by Jonas Jonasson.

On his 100th birthday, Allan Karlsson breaks out of an old people’s home, through the window. He is determined to fill his remaining days with adventure and embarks on a long journey through Sweden, being chased by thieves and police, making friends along the way. Mixed with his old-age adventure, his life’s story is told: he dines with president-to-be Harry S. Truman, hitchhikes with Winston Churchill, travels on a river boat with Mao Zedong’s wife and treks through the Himalayas.

Gösta Berling’s Saga

by Selma Lagerlöf.

A priest defrocked for misbehaving and drinking, Gösta Berling wants to die. The Mistress of Ekeby saves him from freezing to death and takes him in. As one of 12 party-loving homeless men in the manor at Ekeby, Gösta Berling becomes a leading spirit. But the evil Sintram lures the men into making a deal with the devil, which leads to the Mistress of Ekeby leaving home. Wild adventures, power struggle and redemption follow.

Let the Right One In

(Låt den rätta komma in) by John Ajvide Lindqvist.

It’s the winter of 1981 in the grey Stockholm suburb of Blackeberg. Twelve-year-old Oskar is being bullied. But he has a friend who lives next door, Eli. The two develop a close relationship, and Eli helps Oskar fight back against his tormentors. But this story is more than just a snapshot of average suburban life. Eli is a vampire, which Oskar has yet to find out. As mysterious murders spread fear and confusion in the community, Oskar starts to understand – but doesn’t abandon Eli.

The Road

(Vägen till Klockrike) by Harry Martinson.

In 1898, cigar maker Bolle faces big changes. Hand-rolled cigars have to give way to modern, machine-made, mass-produced cigars. Industrialisation is here and Bolle doesn’t like it. He hits the road. On wood-lined gravel roads we follow his vagabond journey through a Sweden about to change. Bolle learns how to beg without provoking people, faces the fear of inhabitants and meets riding policemen as well as vagabond friends. The vagabonds share a longing for freedom and a feeling of scepticism of the brave new world.

Popular Music from Vittula

(Populärmusik från Vittula) by Mikael Niemi.

Matti and his silent friend Niila grow up in Pajala in the very north of Sweden, in an area called Vittula. This is the 1960s/70s, when roads are covered with asphalt, small farms are closed and rock music hits the radio. The older generation doesn’t like the novelties, shaped as they are by memories of poorer times and by Laestadianism, a conservative Lutheran movement that started in Swedish Lapland. Mikael and his friends dream of another life, a life that awaits beyond the horizon.

Let Me Sing You Gentle Songs

(Nu vill jag sjunga dig milda sånger) by Linda Olsson.

One dark evening in March, Veronika arrives at a remote cottage in a small Swedish village, having come all the way from New Zealand. She is a young author longing for peace and quiet to be able to finish her novel and get on with her life after mourning a great loss. Veronika’s closest neighbour is Astrid, a loner. Behind her walls, dark family secrets and a personal tragedy are hidden. As the cold winter turns to spring, the two women slowly form a bond. Their friendship will change both of their lives forever.

The People of Hemsö

(Hemsöborna) by August Strindberg.

Carlsson is on his way to the island of Hemsö in the Stockholm archipelago to work at widow Flod’s farm. With Flod’s husband dead and her son Gusten not caring about farming, the farm is in a state of disorder. When Carlsson starts taking care of everything, Flod is happy, but her son finds Carlsson very snobbish. Eventually Carlsson marries Flod – but let’s just say she’s not the only woman on the island.

here’s a list of things i personally want to see in the next AOS movie

and, because “if you want something done, do it yourself”, 90% of these things are going to be included in ST:M

  • chapel and rand and m’benga
  • chapel as a doctor
  • jaylah coming back as an intern on the enterprise (during summer break?)
  • uhura and scotty should pair up for a fight scene
  • continuity!!!! make the events of the previous movies be acknowledged and affect the characters in the next movies!
  • like, i don’t know. remembering that kirk died in STID?? and spock had to watch? sure, STID is far from a masterpiece, but it still exists, it’s still a part of the storyline and therefore at least the most dramatic plot point should be acknowledged
  • seriously, death is not some sort of weird personality trait
  • less action and more heartfelt conversations
  • more scenes where characters just sit down and chat because they’re friends - basically, allow them to be people
  • zero gravity. guys, you’re in SPACE, show me at least one scene where there’s no gravity on the enterprise. bonus points for using it for both comedy and action
  • female antagonists
  • someone saying spock’s full name
  • winona’s return
  • sarek’s return
  • winona meeting sarek. preferably with kirk and spock present
  • spock calls kirk his t’hy’la!!
  • so many TOS quotes i want to hear. “let me help”, “you almost make me believe in miracles”, “if there are self-made purgatories, then we all have to live in them”… and many many more
  • a storyline that’s both a stand-alone and a to-be-continued. make people want to see the sequel with continuing story - this will make the plot bigger, allow it to be detailed. plus i love when i’m watching a sequel and it’s obvious that it was planned from the very beginning, not just squeezed out to make money - and the continuation is clever, not forced, and some details get new meaning, etc, etc. it’s just a good feeling of visible effort and planning. well, it’s a request for all the sequels out there, not just star trek
  • media, outside world, and their reactions exist
  • the enterprise crew has got to have fans! maybe someone wants to make a movie about them and it’s horribly incorrect! maybe companies produce weird merchandise! articles are written, both praising and hateful!

a lot of this stuff applies to movies in general, yeah…

advice probably no one will listen to:

If you want to watch the new Death Note movie, whether you want to make fun of it or are genuinely curious about it, just watch it illegally. Give it one star or leave a review or whatever, but don’t watch it on Netflix. I don’t know all the details, but I’m pretty sure that the more attention something gets = the more popular Netflix thinks it is. (Like if a lot of people go to see a bad movie to “make fun of it” in theaters, those people are still giving the movie money and saying to the producers “Hey, thousands of us watched this! Make more!”)

You should all know how the internet works by now, everything is online and when something is added to Netflix it’ll be on many other movie streaming sites like an hour later.

Remember Avatar? Please don’t give American Crack-Addict-Light Turner Death Note a chance.

When you get older, it feels nice to learn to say ‘no’ to yourself. Don’t keep wearing high heels if you hate them. Go out without wearing any makeup if you’re tired of putting it. Stop going to parties and getting home drunk if you’re disgusted by the way you smell the morning after. Stop wasting entire days on your bed if you’re going to complain about missing the sun. Sometimes, it’s nice to forget who you are, what your priorities are, and how a person should be. You can go out and watch that movie, read that book, listen to that band you already lied about watching, reading, and listening to.

When you get older, it’s nice to finally make peace with your parents. It’s a wonderful feeling when you recognize that matured conversation maybe not what you always wanted, but it’s what makes you, you. Forgive them for being flawed human beings because you can’t happily enter adulthood when you still act like a spoiled brat in front of them. Try to listen to them. Take their advises. One day, you will talk like them.

When you get older, old things you used to hate doing by old people start to inhabit yourself. You’ll notice how it slowly becomes you. You start to make a habit of going outside, enjoying the light, relearning your friends, forgetting the internet. I think it’s beautiful – to take time to revisit the places that made you who you are: the apartment you lived in, your hometown. These places may or may not be here forever, but you definitely won’t be.

And when you get older, you’ll realize how easy it is to love yourself more than hating it.

—  few things i have learned before turning 25; k h a e

1023) I told my best friend I wanted to joke about how gay I am all the time but didn’t feel comfortable enough to do that, like I wasn’t allowed, and she was like “why??? you should totally make these jokes!” and later we were watching an old bad western movie in an outdoor theater and I was like “welp, this is way too heterosexual for me” and she said “why are you saying that? if a heterosexual person said ‘this is too homosexual for me’ everybody would judge them and think they’re being homophobic so why would a homosexual person have the right to say it? is it because being straight is ‘boring’ and being gay is 'interesting’???” and I just looked into the camera like I’m on the office

@bookcub posted this prompt a while back, and it sounded fun =)

1) How old are you? thirtysomething (which makes me think I should watch that show, but I never have).
2) What’s your current job? Internal/External Communications.
3) What are you talented at? Deciding I want to try a new craft and buying supplies for it, but never doing it…
4) What’s a big goal you are working toward? Finding more balance in my life and meditating.
5) What’s your aesthetic? Cardigans and fun necklaces. I wear a necklace every day, and a cardigan almost every day (its cold in my office, and layers are key).
6) Do you collect anything? Books, bookmarks, movie ticket stubs, fun stuff with woodland creatures on it.
7) What’s a topic you always talk about? Whatever cool facts I just read about.
8) What’s a pet peeve of yours? People being rude and disrespectful to others.
9) Good advice to give? Be good to yourself.
10) What are three songs do you recommend? Just Like Fred Astaire by James, Breathless by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and Let’s Dance by David Bowie.

MLM March: A Night at Home

“Your dad is going to be so pissed we’re spending the night at home. Not that I’m complaining or anything because I didn’t want to go to some stuffy party either. Although, if we did go, we could kiss and make homophobes uncomfortable.” Nino said, his head in his boyfriend’s lap.

“Yea, we can do that next time.” Adrien said, holding Nino’s hand with his own and lightly swinging them.

“Sounds like a plan. Speaking of, what did you want to do tonight instead?”

“Anything else. I really, really didn’t want to go. I said you were sick. We could make dinner and watch a movie, maybe?”

“That sounds nice, babe. What should we cook?”

“In the mood for chinese food?”

“Uh, always.”

“That solves dinner. Any idea on what we should watch?”

“Mhm…mindless action flick?”

“Cool. Oh, we should make cream puffs! There’s still some pastry cream from the other day.”

“You could make cream puffs while I order food.” Nino pushed himself off his boyfriend’s lap and rummaged around for the menu to their favorite Chinese restaurant.

Adrien gave his boyfriend a kiss on the shoulder and wrapped him in a hug.

“I can’t order food like this and you can’t make dessert you know.”

“I know. But I like hugging you.”

“I like hugging you to. And being hugged. Hugs are nice. We should definitely spend a night at home more often.”

“We do that a lot though.” Adrien reminded.

“Yea but now we’re supposed to be somewhere else. Makes it special.”

“Does it?”

“Special enough.”

“Every day is special when I’m with you.”

Nino laughed. “Oh my god, you’re so cute. I love you.”

“I love you to.”

*disclaimer *  so even though this story was inspired by John Wick it will NOT have any parts of the movie in it! this also conflicts with Season 5 of Teen Wolf which I altered a bit because we all know Derek Hale was NOT in Season 5 of Teen Wolf, so things will end differently then in the show if not at all. that is all.
