IMAGINE A WORLD IN WHICH ATENISM, EGYPT’S MONOTHEISTIC FAITH OF SUN WORSHIP, HAD NOT DIED OUT.  IMAGINE THAT HALF OF NATIONAL CITY ARE SUN WORSHIPPERS, IMBUED WITH A LOVE OF SCIENCE AND RATIONALISM.  IMAGINE A NATIONAL CITY WITH VIBRANT ALIEN COMMUNITY.

LUCY IS STILL IN CHARGE OF THE DESERT BUNKER OF THE DEO, WHILE LENA STILL RUNS L CORP AND SITS ON THE NATIONAL CITY SCIENCE COUNCIL. THEY ARE A COUPLE, AND A MOSTLY HAPPY ONE, BUT THEY CAN’T HELP FEELING THAT KARA’S PRESENCE IN THEIR LIFE IS THE WORK OF THE DIVINE.

ALEX RETIRED FROM THE DEO BECAUSE OF ASTRA’S TORTURE, RESCUED HER, AND NOW HAS A TATTOO SHOP WITH SUSAN VASQUEZ.  SHE SPECIALIZES IN METALLIC INKS.

Visitors (A Growing Family Fic)

Summary: Nic and Ashur stop by the palace to visit the newest addition to the Damora-Bellos family.

“Uncle Nic!”

“Hey, munchkins!”

Nic knelt on the cool marble floor so he could hug the two small figures that jumped into his embrace, shaking them lightly to the point where all three were laughing. When they separated, he held them at arm’s length so he could assess his nephew and niece. Prince Mathias, practically a spitting image of his father but with bright blue eyes that always shone with  more intelligence than his seven years of age let on, was smiling widely. At his side, several inches shorter, was Princess Lianna. Her soft, light brown curls fell down the sides of her blush colored dress.

Even though Nic wasn’t related to the Damora-Bellos children by blood, he had been best friends with their mother, Queen Cleo Bellos, for as long as he could remember. They had always considered the other to be family, so naturally he had been a part of the lives of her son and daughter.
