this ship is really important to me

Some analytics of the romances in the Star Wars trilogies

So I couldn’t help myself from digging deeper into the romances in these trilogies, so I watched the movies and made some analytics of them that you can find below.

Honestly, doing these were such an eye-opener for me….that I really should be doing other more important stuff but…..Reylo. Can’t deny my ship or the discussions of them going on here so…..here you go!

And to compare them……

And I also made my own prediction…xD

br0ganes could've been a really nice platonic sheith AU for people who didn't ship them romantically, and it kinda sucks that the whole concept was taken and destroyed by antis forcing the concept of "brotherly=blood relations"

yeah i’m all for people who like platonic sheith! i obviously don’t expect everyone to ship it romantically but the fact remains that even platonically they are extremely important to each other. it makes me so sad to see people try to undermine their close relationship by saying it’s ONLY because they’re related.

they’re obviously very close. that doesn’t give anyone any reason to think they’re related. and it’s sad that ant1s have ruined the concept like this

How Do People NOT Multiship?

Seriously I don’t get it. Just looking at Voltron for example here, you’ve got

-Klance, your hate ship, that red and blue, the gay losers who pretend to hate each other but would be very upset if something happened to the other
–Sheith, with all its history and possibilities for angst and comfort
-Kidge, your dumb conspiracy theorists who have no idea what they’re doing in a relationship but they’re trying their best
-Heith, your cinnamon roll lovers
-Kallura, your space power couple and also the way to spite people just for fun
-Shance, your sweet little angel falling for space daddy and it could be unrequited if you like to suffer and I mean Lance called Shiro his fucking hero like can you not
-Pidgance, Punk and Hance, your friends to lovers ships
-Allurance, for crush nerds and could again be unrequited if you’re masochistic
-Shidge, with their adorable and lame support that makes me cry
-Shunk, which is just an even purer cinnamon roll ship
-Shallura, for all your space parent needs
-Pallura, because lesbians are beautiful
-Hallura, the team mom ship
-Shatt, more angst opportunities and the best name

And then there’s your poly ships

-Shklance, where Shiro’s the only sane one and keeping them alive
-Klunk, Kidgance and both at the same time, the purest of friends to lovers poly ships
-Shallurance, which is perfect for Lance angst if you like people feeling like an add on and less important when really they’re just as loved
-Shalluridge, which I can’t even describe how great it is
- Shalluratt, which I don’t actually ship but I get it

Then again maybe is just me I join a fandom and I either ship everything or don’t even ship the Canon there is no in between for me.

Sincerely, Me

Evan: In an email I received from you two weeks ago I noticed a comma in the middle of a phrase

Evan: It changed the meaning. Did you intend this? One key and you’ve consumed my waking days.

Evan: It says “Dear Evan Hansen,”

Evan: With a comma after dear

Evan: You’ve written “Dear, Evan Hansen”

Guys I realized something really important! More evidence as to why “Shiro” isn’t the real Shiro.

In the past seasons whenever the real Shiro is on a Galra ship, he does the finger tapping thing to track his way around the ship without being caught by soldiers. He completely memorized the routes the soldiers would take. But when “Shiro” woke up this season on a Galra ship, he instantly just got up and left. Like he didn’t even think to check for soldiers. Not a Shiro thing to do if you ask me.

ahhhh im so glad!! that makes me very very happy, its really comforting knowing other people feel the same way /o\

and you can always, ALWAYS request cute jaspearl!!!! omg!  i feel like theyd be really good for each other ;;;

bit of a rant

ya know what im really tired of?

fandoms demanding ships from show creators/crews

are ships.. really so important that you’re gonna just harass the people that gave you this material in the first place. make them hate fandoms in silence and worse make them hate what they create? this is especially irksome when its directed towards a)disney shows and b)shows with heavy plot. im not really directing any of this towards any show in particular mind you, theres far too many fandoms going after this trend to single any out at this point, there are some high contenders though.

more under the cut because this rant ran away from me and became way longer than intended

so I heard there’s a movement to fill the star trek fandom with positive works! so here’s my contribution; some scribbled smooching space hubbies.

I went for AOS faces, but TOS body types because I am So Here for ships that are visually complementary, so spock’s a bit leaner than ZQ and kirk’s a bit more soft around the edges (buff + soft…boft?) than cpine.

you know what else I love? when people with larger noses smooch and their nose gets all squished against the other person’s cheek. that’s…that’s really important to me. spock’s nose squish. look at it. LOOK AT IT.

What's happening with Super Girl?

The ship known as Supercorp (played by Melissa Benoist and Katie McGrath) is a non canon same sex ship that is really popular among most fans of Supergirl, and some critics have even picked up on the possibility of it becoming canon. To break it down, this ship has become really important to a lot of young members of the LGBT+ community, even those who don’t watch the show (me included). Supercorp is pretty much the new Clexa

Yesterday at SDCC the cast was asked to sing a S2 recap and one of the actors, Jeremy Jordan, then sang “Kara and Lena are friends and that’s all they’ll ever be!” without anyone ever mentioning the ship at all. He did this in a mocking way that felt like a personal attack on the LGBT+ fans of the show. The rest of the cast (except Katie, David, and Odette) joined in/laughed. The three who did not join in looked very uncomfortable and Katie later made a point to mention that there is something between Kara and Lena and seeing something between them isn’t delusional

To add insult to injury, Jeremy later said that he “debunked Supercorp” to which Melissa Benoist replied with “you’re so brave”. And while Katie was talking about the sapphic undertones of the show, one of the actors, Chris Wood, interrupted her and said that your sexuality was all up to whatever people think you are and not actually what you are. It was obvious that he was making fun of the ship and the idea that the main character of the show could be queer in any way and made fun of queer fans who identified with Kara and believed that she could be queer too

(I’m not even going to go into Jeremy Jordan’s non-apology letter)

So to recap: Almost the entire cast of Supergirl spat all over their primarily queer fanbase unprompted, viciously, and repeatedly. Response has been swift and immediate and fans are angry and even other actors (most notably Kaitlyn Alexander from Carmilla) and critics very angry at them and now a lot of them are saying that they won’t watch the show anymore because of the incident and are going to start watching shows that treat their sapphics better (like Wynonna Earp and The Bold Type)

some important looks

I decided to put together what I think are several important klance screencaps, since I have no self control. This list focuses mainly on the individual looks on their faces in regards to each other, rather than the dialogue. (That’s why there aren’t screencaps from every klance moment in the season here, and it’s mostly just one or the other rather than both of them in the same screen. Because there are probably tons of posts about those already.) This season was really difficult for Keith because of Shiro, and I think his responses to Lance, specifically, are pretty clear to notice.

This right after Lance insists that he’s not a goofball, and Keith just has the most fond look on his face. This is the first time in the entire first episode Keith was actually in a good mood, and it’s because he can’t help but smile and even laugh a little because is Lance serious right now?

This is later in the episode, when Lance comforts Keith about leading in the black lion. Keith looks surprised, but he’s actually willing to listen, when he pretty much disregarded what everyone else said.

Lance shoves down his own unhappiness about the black lion not choosing him, reinforcing his beliefs that he’s not good enough, in order to comfort Keith. Because Lance, as Allura said, puts the good of the team over himself.

And then in the third episode, when Keith is beating himself up for not being a good enough leader, Lance casts him this sympathetic/concerned look before trying to get Keith’s signature determination back to where it usually is. It’s also worth mentioning that the only person Keith listened to the advice of was Lance. Just saying.

In episode six, when Lance chooses to come to Keith with his concerns about if he should even pilot a lion anymore, Keith’s response is an immediate “What are you talking about?” But he’s not mad, which is typical for Keith, he looks worried. Worried, and confused that this would even have crossed Lance’s mind.

And then when Lance leaves, clearly still unsure and upset, Keith makes an effort to cheer him up. Complete with this pure smile.

And then the smile that Lance gives in response. Lance was pretty serious the whole time, not mentioning what he wanted but instead talking about what would be for the good of the team. This look that resulted from Keith’s advice is just so,,, grateful and happy,,, I… moving on.

This is after Lance is attacked by Auxia (also in episode 6). Lance manages to catch the shot with his shield, but is still knocked to the ground with the force of it. Keith immediately runs towards Auxia, and he looks pissed. To me, he looks unusually angry even for Keith-while-fighting standards. Because she hurt Lance, and that’s not gonna stand.

And then Lance shoots the knife that Ezor threw at Keith out of the air before it so much at touched him, and Keith stops fighting just to give Lance this look. It’s the adorably fond smile again, in response to Lance’s “I got you, buddy!” He even fails to notice Auxia creeping behind him at first, because Keith is distracted. Because they’re a team, and if I were Keith in that moment, I’d be wondering “how the hell does Lance think he’s not one of the strongest?”

There’s a lot of really important, really good dialogue between Keith and Lancee that I was ecstatic to see this season. But sometimes, what isn’t outright said is just as important.

I think a moment that really struck me about the importance of representation was when I made my asexual friend cry.

I have a book I’ve written, that I just haven’t posted anywhere out of fear. The leading lady is a pansexual/romantic trans girl cop, and she has a best friend in the coroner who’s an asexual sex repulsed homoromantic cis girl that really likes lizards. I would send my asexual friend the chapters to beta, because I’m not ace and I don’t want to fuck up anything.

The entire time she would mention loving their interactions (she wasn’t subtle about shipping it at all) and I, very excitedly gave her the chapter where said asexual character admitted to her father figure she was in love with the leading lady. She spent a good couple of pages freaking out about asking her out “I know she’s cool with me being asexual but what if she’s not cool dating an asexual? What if she takes it as an insult??” etc. Basic shit I thought almost all media with ace characters would cover.

Later, she calls me on skype, and is literally fucking crying. Apperently, ace media rarely considers ace people still having romantic feelings and almost never covers the difficulty, the fear, the nervousness. She said that character resonated so hard with her, it felt like she got hit in the chest and it proved to her I did care about people like her.

When I explained that I wasn’t even trying, it just felt natural to write she started bawling more and fucking begged me to keep writing especially ace/aro characters.

It was the most touching thing that ever happened to me.

i want to talk about hunay for a moment because it’s an incredibly important ship and it really saddens me that it’s ignored so much for other ships.

hunay is a relationship between a fat guy (yes. hunk is Fat. he does have arm muscle, but he also has a round stomach, which means he’s Fat. and guess what?? that isn’t a bad thing!! “fat” is not a bad word.) and a buff girl. their appearances, which are often made to be some kind of issue in other media, are never even acknowledged by each other. and that’s something that hardly ever happens.

fat people, when we are included in media, are often seen as undesirable. our looks are constantly pointed out, and made to be some kind of issue. if a fat person ends up with a skinny person in media, most of the time they have to undergo some kinda transformation that ends with them becoming skinny, and thus suddenly becoming desirable solely bc they lost weight. if a fat person ends up with another fat person, then they’re often Both seen as undesirable, and the relationship is usually set up in a way that indicates that they wouldn’t have ended up with anyone but each other solely bc they’re both fat. shay loves hunk for hunk, and he never has to go through any kind of transformation to gain her affection.

buff girls are hardly ever included in media at all. physically strong female characters do exist, but it’s rare for them to actually be given any kind of muscle. they’re usually still pretty skinny, or only have arm muscle. shay’s entire build is pure muscle, which is a very rare thing to find in female characters from what i’ve seen. and the few times i have seen muscular female characters they’ve usually had deep voices, were treated as a joke/undesirable, or were portrayed as really rough and tough people who weren’t allowed to be soft. hunk falls for shay pretty much instantly, and shay is portrayed as a soft and gentle person.

hunay is a relationship with a fat guy and a buff girl where they are not treated as “the fat guy” and “the buff girl”. it is a relationship where they are treated like people. no one points out their appearances at all. hunay is the most canon ship, and thus they are made desirable to each other, and it’s in no way portrayed to be in spite of their appearances.

please stop ignoring hunay. i’m not saying you can’t ship these two with other characters, because i also ship them with other characters. i’m just asking that you please stop ignoring/disregarding this incredibly important ship for other ships. and if your complaints about the ship are centered around it being a boy/girl ship, please remember that there are still certain groups who need better relationship rep, and the good rep they do get shouldn’t be disregarded if that rep is given through a boy/girl relationship.

~Shuddit, pumpkin.~

I see a lot of people hating on the Joker Harley ship lately (or perhaps I’ve never noticed it before) and even though the ship has hit an iceberg, I’m asking myself why.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t ship it in a lovey dovey sense, we all know that abuse is wrong and in real life, if Harley were my best friend, I would beat that clown to a pulp. But as a reader? Nah, I enjoy it. I truly enjoy the dynamic between the two of them, the darkness, the insanity.
Personally I think that the Joker is so important for what Harley Quinn has become.
It’s like enjoying a really mean horror movie. It’s only fiction people.

Soulmate au (sort of not really)

Okay so you know the soulmate tattoo idea where you have your soulmates first words written on your body?

Well this au is where the tattoo on your body will be the most important thing that will be asked in your life. (Which doesn’t have to be from your soulmate)

The thing is though it could range from the obvious thing which is “Will you marry me?”

To dark stuff such as “Are you going to kill them then?”

Or something sad like “Why do you hate me so much?”

imo, jungkook seems like the type of person who will not be forced to do things. i think there have been a number of instances whereby he has said “no” to being told to do something bc he doesn’t want to do it.

just take the recent bv behind the scenes as an e.g., jinmin wanted jjj (jin-jimin-jungkook) to play the “throw their shoe as far as possible” game to see who would go into the sea. but jungkook was adamant on not playing it. in fact, i’m not even sure how many times he said “no” to his hyungs regarding it. he just does. not. want.

there was also this bangtan bomb in which jungkook was saying how he knows that fans don’t really like his fashion sense aka baggy pants?

do you guys see? “but i like baggy pants”

i’m not saying he doesn’t care for the fans’ opinions. but it’s more like… he seems like someone who wouldn’t go so far as to please someone. he likes what he likes, he dislikes what he dislikes.

in fact, he has said it himself that he isn’t one to bother about what other people say. and i find to be really important actually.

which brings me to mY NEXT POINT.

this honestly makes all the jikook moments (not saying that other ship moments are not genuine, i’m only talking about jikook bc i am well… a jikook shipper sO) more believable to me. it doesn’t necessarily mean that there aren’t any fanservice involved when it comes to their moments. but i can say that at least 97% of their moments are genuine.

let me just bring up the fact that jungkook does not like sharing his clothes. bUT WELL HEY, who do we always see him sharing clothes with? [eye emoji]

or how jungkook is always complaining about how slow jimin is and it drives him crazy, but yET [drum rolls] he is always the one who waits for him and ends up walking together with him.

- during bv1, when everyone was waiting for jimin outside the hotel so jk turned around to look for him back in the hotel

- during bv2, when jm and jk were the last 2 to leave the plane together

- you know what? jUST THE MANY (and i mean m a n y) INSTANCES WHERE WE SEE JK AND JM BEING THE LAST TWO TO WALK TOGETHER (I’m too lazy to screenshot I’m sorry)

- in fact, jimin himself has ever asked the qn during one of the bangtan bombs:

yea jimin…. i wonder why.

(let’s not forget that this goes both ways. the iconic: pjm waited for hours for jjk to finish his shoot)

lastly, how transparent jungkook actually is with his feelings (at least to me, he is a pretty transparent person)

yea okay.. whats that smile for kook?

^ iconic!!! but never forget how HAPPY he was when jimin entered his room a second time bc he thought jimin wasn’t gonna come back again and was actually disappointed

^another important moment!!! did he really have to back hug jimin and close his eyes in a crowded place full of idols and mind you, they were actually taking a group photo. he should be posing or something but no, that isn’t his priority. his priority was embracing jimin and just… enjoying the moment. even if for just a short while.

also lbr, even if a moment was “fanservice”, does it make the moment any less…important? bc back to my first point - jk wouldn’t do something he doesn’t want/like to do

so if a moment is fanservice, i doubt jk would Do It if he actually doesn’t want to do it.

like the 21cg choreo. it was found out thru a fansign that both jk & jm choreographed the jikook parts together. see, this is a fanservice moment BUT it is also something that they both mutually discussed it together, that they want to do together.

also back up a little, this does not mean jungkook does not respect other people’s opinion/feelings. he does. i think we have seen many instances, not just with jimin but the other hyungs too, whereby he knows his boundaries and when to stop.

one familiar e.g., when jimin lost his phone during bv1 and they wanted to do a hidden camera but jk was the first to end it and give the phone back to jimin.

honestly…i don’t know what this whole post is for. it’s just word vomit and i guess i just wanted to say how much i love jikook? and how i appreciate every little moment between them. whether it may be big or small.

tl;dr jungkook does What He Wants

(btw, these are all just my opinions and thoughts. not everyone will fully agree with me ^^)

So.. I have something to say.
Just watched Homecoming and I loved it, but there’s a topic that seems not clear for me.

My head literally exploded when *possible spoiler* Michelle called herself MJ. Like, my brain made an instant click.
But even with that, being honest, I don’t think she is Mary Jane. Or an adaptation of her character. She is Michelle Jones, a completely different person, and I adore what we have seen of her so far. For me the MJ call was like a hint of what Michelle could become in the future {I mean, like Peter’s partner maybe?) Idk but i see so much potential right there, because this MJ feels really complex and interesting.
So, no, she is not Mary Jane for me, but rather a different new character that could be important in Peter’s life as Mary Jane character had been.
And I totally ship MichellexPeter tbh. Good job with this one Marvel

yo so the person who tweeted this is the creator of young justice. there is a gay ship (that most people believe to be canon- hopefully in s3). this tweet made me reevaluate klance and its ability to be canon? should i be questioning this?

im not really sure- bc klance AND shallura and literally all other ships have such huge fanbases and people suggest them so often- is it legally possible (in terms of writing) for it to happen???
also this person’s show is going to be made by netflix- like voltron.

To The BMC Fandom

Or at least some of it

Alright guys… This is REALLY important… I’m going to try to be calm, but sorry if I start getting angry.

Can we NOT ship Jeremy and the Squip? I’m going to entirely ignore the fact that the squip is supposed to resemble someone in their 20s and Jeremy is 17, bc this is bad in and of itself but that’s not what’s REALLY bothering me (even though it’s up there).

(Before I start if you want screenshots as citing sources message me and I’ll supply)

The squip is really emotionally abusive and manipulative. It canonically uses Jeremy’s body issues to manipulate him into following the squip’s orders and literally makes him say he’s terrible and wants to die. And you can’t forget how he essentially shames Jeremy for masturbation.

And, it’s physically abusive too. It fucking shocks Jeremy when he does something that the squip deems to be wrong. Which involves when Jeremy is fucking slouching. That’s the equivalent of your friend slapping you when you slouch, which I doubt would feel very good. Especially if your friend told you that it was for your own good because it made you a terrible person.

I’m sorry I got emotional, but it’s really important that you do not ship this. It’s an abusive/manipulative relationship from every angle. This isn’t some cutesy thing for you to romanticize.
