Trying to stay in step

Me: *is in perfect step listening to the section leader count*

Section leader: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 1, 2, 3-

Me: *thinks*HOLY FUCK I FORGOT I HAVE TO GET ON MY DOT IN 12 STEPS INSTEAD OF 16. *Is completely off dot and out of step*

Mind: remember my child, even is right odd is left….

Me: *gets back in step* FUCKING YES!!!

Section leader: *after set* Good job.

me: *flops around* Thank youuu

819) it all started with a pair of shoes. i was shoe-shopping with my dad and he was picking out flip-flops in the mens section and i was trying on some cool shoes i found on the same shelf. i finally found a pair that fit my tiny dainty feet and i literally stood up and danced (in the masculine shoes). thats when i knew i wasn’t cis.

HEY @taylorswift this my friend and I (Mariah). We decided to take on ‘Wildest Dreams’ for the Lexington show on Tuesday! Look for some insane body flopping and dancing in Section 22 Row MM (first row behind the b stage so we’ll see ya on the acoustic set). WE CAN’T WAIT. This is my 12th show to date and I’m from Lexington, so these are always my favorite. SEE YOU TUESDAY! Our two friends @xoxoconner @polaroidof-us will also be sitting with us dressed as Meredith and Olivia!!!

If I can do my yoga every morning…. that leaves my entire day to fit my running in. Lunch times on the days I work are the easiest to plan for. There is a shower at work in the newly acquired section . It needs a serious good clean (and I may bring flip flops to wear just to be safe). I work 4 days a week so it should be simple enough to get 2 to 3 runs in per week. I am going to go tomorrow. Might as well start the month off strong! Friday I have my hair appt, Saturday there is an auction and we have some major farm chores to do over the weekend.

I can do this.

I got this.

Nobody can push me but me.

Nobody is responsible but me.

I have to want it more than where I am at now.

And if I do yoga in the morning, run at lunch on my work days, I can enjoy my evenings in the garden, or sewing or crocheting.

So what am I giving up?

½ hour of sleep.
½ hour of wages/work time.

What am I gaining?

Strength.
Focus.
Flexibility.
Endurance.
Stress relief.

I got this.
