rogue one: fanmeta: jyn and bodhi

ok when i reblogged that jyn erso defense post, i wrote a bunch of tags at the end comparing jyn vs bodhi

but the more i think about it

the more upset i get about how jyn’s character causes so much controversy in fandom whereas bodhi’s is universally loved

(and he should be universally loved! i love bodhi! i love bodhi so much! i love his character, i love his arc, i love everything! i love his fear and his softness and his an-ordinary-person-can-do-extraordinary-things!)

do you have any tips for managing OCs better?-- I have this one main OC and I love him to death, he's going on 3 years old now, and I kinda wish I had more of a variety to choose from when I think of my OCs, not just this one guy in particular. But when I make new OCs, even though they're really good ideas imo, I end up losing interest in them and putting them away, but I'm not sure why. do you know what i could go? sorre if this is confusing or hard to answer ;v;

Ah I’m so sorry for the late reply!! I’ve gotten so many messages that I replied to privately, this one must have slipped my sight!!

About managing ocs better, what personally motivates me is to make them interact with other ones!! Not with other ones as in your own ocs, but with other ones ocs!! I personally always never lose interest in my ocs when I make them interact with my bfs ocs!! Since the development and how they interact isn’t predictable and it’s so much more fun!! I wish you the best of luck that this way will work since keeping ocs and seeing them grow is such a nice thing.

other ways to keep ocs are to fill out cute silly character memes that can be found on deviantArt, create an aesthetic blog for them, create a blog for them in general, etc etc!!

Initial Thoughts: 6x14—Page 23

Normally, before I sit down to actually write these things I take a quick perusal of my dash just to get a feel for the general mood of the fandom.  This time, I decided to sit down and write my initial thoughts before I look at a single other person’s post.  So…this could be one big popular opinion, or one big unpopular opinion, but in any case, it’s my opinion.

So general overview? Gideon has officially made it to the top of my “Storybrooke most hated” list.  Impressive!  He managed in 4 episodes to unseat his father, who’s held the celebrated position for a good 2 seasons now!

In all seriousness, though, what did I think of the episode?  I honestly loved it!  The general theme of this episode was forgiving yourself and learning to love yourself no matter how villainous you might have been in the past.

The Regina/EQ situation was not at all resolved in the way I expected, but it works for me.  I’m a little shell-shocked as an OQ fan, but…I actually kind of like it.  Regina gets both: she gets Robin, and she gets to be a model for the audience of someone who loved and lost and is able to find meaning in her life once again.

The CS in this episode was angsty.  Really angsty.  Even so, I loved it so much!  It really, truly opens the way for some amazing payoff in the next few episodes.

The promo for 6x15 leaves me pumped for what’s coming!  The next episode looks to be all about CS and their true love story.

Okay, let’s delve a little deeper into the two main stories of the episode: Regina/EQ and Killian/CS.

what is it like having bpd? I'm just curious and would like to know more. Just googling something doesn't always give you the full story. I have depression and find it easy to make friends with people who get it, so do you have friends with bpd as well?

all u have to do is scroll down my blog

I already answered this no more than a week ago

and yes I’m friends w one other person w bpd but I don’t get along w others w personality disorders easily most times. I prefer to not surround myself w others like me v much. tend to feed off each other’s anxieties and insecurities

So I just had this dream where me and some people were talking about different theatre plays and that we should make one with a dark theme, like the original Disney fairy tales or smth. And they’re like yeah yeah that’s pretty neat and starts listing up like Swan Lake, Snow White, and other tragic ones and then one person just yells out “CELINE DION” and everyone’s like??? What? What do you- Celine Dion??? Did u mean Titanic? And she’s like oh yeah that’s the name

And I don’t know I just found that pretty funny so I had to write it down when I woke up

I had the sudden mental image of Tojo High!Kiryu graduating, and at some point years down the road he just drops into a conversation like "Ya know when you fistfought your gym teacher afterschool?" "What?" "Yeah, you know, you never got into a fight with your gym teacher? Or had a friend who got called to fight the gym teacher?" "No Kiryu. Kiryu that, that's not supposed to happen." And then Kiryu just has to adjust his entire worldview to accommodate this new information, that that's not normal

kiryu just like SO LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT… IT IS NOT NORMAL TO GET INTO FISTFIGHTS WITH YOUR GYM TEACHER

the other person like FOR THE LAST TIME KIRYU NO IT ABSOLUTELY IS NOT WHY DID NO ONE CALL THE COPS

kiryu WELL SOMEONE DID BUT ONLY BECAUSE HIM AND LIKE HALF THE OTHER TEACHERS WERE HARASSING ONE SPECIFIC GIRL FOR HER TRACTS OF LAND

A lot of people apparently think it’s a valid statement when they say that Stiles and Derek hated each other, and I wholeheartedly say, you’re wrong.

I’d like to call this my masterpost for proof that Stiles and Derek did, indeed, care for one another very much. I may not list all, but I will list the ones I find the most notable:

1. Stiles getting in Chris Argent’s face about Kate and what Kate did to Derek and his family. A lot of people look pass this scene, just a mere glance, but it truly caught my attention. I don’t think this has ever been addressed by Stiles before this scene, but in a part of Formality, Chris began questioning Stiles on what he had to do to tame Scott (trying to argue for why werewolves should be taken down) and Stiles brought up the Hale fire and immediately got upset and rather infuriated at what had happened. He knew what Kate did, knew what it did to Derek and it got to him. And that’s what got to me.

2. The iconic pool scene.

Firstly, Derek told Stiles to go protect himself, ready to fight by himself.

Now, of course, Stiles did not listen.

Secondly- wait, do I really need to explain why this scene is so important?

Stiles went back for Derek, who he claimed to hate, and saved him, kept him from drowning. (Totally screwed up his phone in the process but whateves.)

This is still one of the most notable Sterek scenes.

3. Derek saving Stiles from getting killed by Isaac.

4. Derek also protected Stiles from Peter in the hospital scene.

5. This scene.

What really got me about this one is that Stiles wasn’t that close to Boyd. He hardly even knew Boyd, but what he did know was how much Boyd meant to Derek.

What he knew was that Derek needed comfort, and he gave it in the slightest way.

It wasn’t much, just a hand on the shoulder, but he did it. He did it and this scene showed that he cared, that he was there for Derek.

6. Derek trusting Stiles over his own girlfriend.

Not to mention that later on in the episode, when Jennifer stated that she could be the only one to take them to Stiles’ dad, Derek went into full attack mode.

7. Derek being protective over Stiles, ready to chase after him because he knew what Stiles was going to do would be risky.

8. The elevator scene.

Reminder that this scene was an episode after the argument they had, on the same day and possibly an hour apart at most.

What really got me about this scene was the worry on Stiles’ face when he saw Derek laying there. He just stopped all together for a moment before moving in to help.

The evident panic in his voice as he kept on telling Derek to wake up just warmed my heart.

9. Derek was incredibly hesitant in taking Stiles down while the Nogistune had taken over him. He hardly even suggested it.

10. Stiles worrying about Derek in season 4, after he got taken. He even refused to leave without finding Derek.

11. Stiles hesitating to go save his own best friend because Derek was close to dying.

This one scene basically saved season 4. This one scene broadcasted just how much Stiles truly cares for Derek.

Guys, he hesitated to save his own best friend. Understand how major that is.

Stiles only left when Derek told him to go, demanded it, and even than he still wasn’t sure and looked back once more before going.

This scene was so significant, probably the most significant Sterek scene ever.

12. Everyone looking at Stiles before Derek left.

This may not seem like a big deal, but I take this as his friends understanding just how much Derek means to him. He had to watch Derek walk away and I feel like they got it, it just clicked.

13. Stiles smiling at Derek’s initials.

The fact that something as simple as Derek’s initials had Stiles stopping just to smile really means something.

And if that wasn’t enough to prove how much he missed Derek, remember the following episode when Scott brought Derek up?

Stiles’ pause and the look on his face and the look on Scott’s face like he knew something, knew that Derek meant more to Stiles than Stiles was saying.

14. Stiles is Derek’s anchor.

Anchor. Anchor.

This is important.

An anchor being someone you feel safe and secure around, someone who can pull you back, someone meaningful.

Stiles was that for Derek, and if that’s not enough to prove just how much Derek cares for and appreciates Stiles, I don’t know what is.

In conclusion, you can say whatever you want about Sterek but do not deny how important they were to each other. It’s ridiculous and not even an argument. In the beginning, they probably hated each other but now? You’re only playing yourself if you’re really trying to argue that they mean nothing to each other.

hi can I get a fuckin uhhhhhhh

badass, accomplished, intelligent leader Lance who is strong in his own right and doesn’t need to be coddled and doesn’t take shit from others AND PEOPLE ACTUALLY LISTEN TO HIM AND RESPECT HIM

By the way man, this why we work well together, you know? You see free soup, you make a decision to eat it.

Some days I am absolutely convinced that the Legends of Tomorrow writers room just consists of a bunch of people playing a weird tabletop RPG and writing down whatever happens:

DM: the countdown is nearly up, and NASA is about to discover the time travellers on the moon

Stein’s player: I start singing the ‘Banana Boat Song’

DM: *sighs* roll

i still have doubts about whether will is actually in love with hannibal ;(

Well nonny you have come to the right place. Because I have no such doubts. I am overwhelmed on a daily basis by just how much Will Graham loves Hannibal Lecter. It’s late and I’m exhausted and I really should be doing this during daylight hours, so please excuse the rambling and caps lock and incoherence. Also, I’m putting most of this below a cut because I have no chill and it’s way too long and gif-heavy for me to inflict upon unsuspecting dashes.

Anyway, come with me nonny on a magical journey back to mid-season 2. Will is all fresh outta prison with his sassy brows and slick new haircut and he is just dead set on Reckoning. He is going to catch that mother fucker and it is going to be GLORIOUS.

There’s only one problem

Will can’t actually bring himself to hate Hannibal.
