Glitchtale “Geonocide continues” theory

Ok, so to start off, the “Geonocide continues” or “Gc” theory is going to focus not on how plot progresses, but mainly on “How the game works from programming aspect”.

You may think that Camila wouldnt do something as “Advanced” as that, and you may think something like “Camila is animator, not a programmist DUH”, but let me prove you wrong.

In this case, she has basic knowledge on how game would behave, so lets continue.

Now, lets talk about how the game would behave.

Undertale save works as a text file, that game can read, for example, if you didnt kill papyrus it would look like that (simplified version)

Papyrus killed = 0

And in this case, “0″ means null, he was not killed.

Lets talk about how reset works.

It basically erases current variables all to “0″, but Undertale was programmed to remember some things.

Now, lets see how would it look if you had killed papyrus .

Papyrus killed = 1

And after reset it should have been something like that

Papyrus killed = 0

Right?

Yes, but with one exception, it would create ANOTHER variable, so the thing would look like this

Papyrus killed = 0

Papyrus REMEMBERS being killed = 1

And that is basically how undertale behaves.

Same works with routes, and as we know, Frisk had completed every possible route (seing every line of dialogue means beating every neutral version, because of unique Sans’ dialogue at the end), up to the Megalomaniac when they fail to complete Geonocide route.

Now, in healthy condition after resetting it should make save to something like:

Geonocide = 0

But as we know, after Frisk had escaped they have created first glitch, allowing them to reset mid-battle.

Now, we’ve seen more glitches after resetting, meaning that something went wrong with “Reset” option.

And quickly we can come to conclusion that it didnt reset values, but created two values that cannot co-exist.

for example you can’t have values like

Papyrus killed = 1

Papyrus killed = 0

At the same time, because the game will not know what to do, creating more and more glitches after resets, as resetting adds false variables to the save file.

In Glitchtale, it eventually came to point where ONE MORE false value in save file, will make timeline (in this case save) to erase itself.

At this point in time, we know that we are on hard mode, because in “Yet darker” we saw the file being named “Frisk”

And as it is hard mode, game GAINS the ability to SPAWN objects, for example it can spawn final froggit in ruins.

But what if it can spawn something to fix itself?

As it is spawning more things, it also gains ability to create new “stories”.

The game is smarter than we thought.

What if the game was to create one powerfull being, so that it can fix the game itself?

And you are right, the game did that, and so the game created Betty.

Now, for some of you being like “But it was bravery who created her!”

I need to say one thing, the bravery, twins, and whole story is STILL inside the game, it is still INSIDE the window frame.

Meaning that game could “create” story for Betty to make it look less, well, suspicious?

How would Betty work by then?

Well, Betty would be just a “Eraser tool” to erase every false value to point it was last time the game was ok, and this last time was Geonocide run.

By that, it means that from these two values:

Papyrus killed = 0

Papyrus killed = 1

Betty would have erased “ Papyrus killed = 0 “, leaving him killed as it originally was on the Geonocide route before Frisk decided to glitch.

And what’s the order of killing?

Everything in the game needs to proceed with some sort of “order”.

And get ready for your mind to get blown,

The game thinks we are inside “Pacifist” route, but with Geonocide value, meaning it would take ONLY order we see in Pacifist route, and let Betty kill them by it.

AND WHAT IS THE ONLY ORDER WE SEE IN GAME?

That is right!

We dont get a chance to see anything other in normal pacifist route in game, so the Game itself took the only order it could find.

The core starting point is Frisk, and the nearest ones to stand by them will die first.

For example, Sans And Alphys are standing RIGHT next to frisk, and they died first, the next one in order would be Undyne, but she has the thing.

After some calculations I’ve come to this order:

- Sans

- Alphys

- Undyne (She will loose her whole determination but not die just now)

- Papyrus

- Undyne (Now she dies, no determination =D )

- Toriel/Asgore (it is hard to tell which one)

So as we came to the conclusion,

The villain is the game itself.

Thank you for reading, I hope you liked my theory, and remember, it is ONLY a theory, meaning it can be wrong with some things, or with everything or it can also be 100% accurate!

Feel free to voice that on YouTube, just say that it is MINE theory and put my name on screen and in description of video.

Don’t copy-paste theory, just reblog it.

help I just found a hoodie that says "Scarecrows make the best professors. They're always out standing in their field." and JONATHAN REALLY NEEDS IT

ok so i like to think either Jervis or Edward at one point had obtained this sweater with said quote, and that one day Scarecrow seeks refuge from whoever and his shirt is just all sorts of gone. It was a pretty wild fight. And the only clothes they were able to give him was this sweater. Little did Jonathan know this was actually planned for months, years even, with the hope that such a scenario would present itself. So when Jon arrives at their door asking for a spare yet of clothes they were super hyped like , “yes! it’s happening! our time is now!”. Of course Crane is less than pleased. ( to their credit they managed to convince Jon to keep his mask and hat on…if only for a brief moment)

Exclusionists are freaking weird. "No one needs to know about your sex life people don't just randomly talk about sex" but Tumblr itself is full of blogs with sexual titles and people in rl who will randomly just bring up their kinks to friends and strangers. But aces have to shut the fuck up about our no attraction.

ok yeah that bothers me so much because they say we’re the sex shamey ones? i dont think anyone should live in a sort of culture where sex is a huge taboo thing. its just a thing that some people do and some people dont do; i really hate this especially american puritanism culture thing where its like NO YOU CAN NEVER TALK ABOUT SEX. fuck that

A Lone Wolf

If I had to equate one thing to Reno and his personality, temperament and reactions, it would be that of a dog, but not just any dog, an alpha male dog, and better yet, that of a lone wolf.

Ok, yes, you might hear that and think it’s so over done and clique, but I use that term in a way that not most imply it.  Here, let me explain.

As a lone wolf, the headstrong animal lives in the wild and fends for itself, counting on no one else to survive.  They are vicious, cut throat, do what needs to be done without hesitation, and thinks of no one but themselves.  As an Alpha male in the canine family, they think of themselves at the leader, that they are always right, and that everyone should listen to them.  If someone does not listen to them, they will assert their dominance, forcing their correctness upon others.  They will either intimidate and scare the weaker of the pack, push the weaker out of the pack, but usually, earn the respect of the pack who then come to trust and listen to what the Alpha says.  With a mindset like this, respect is everything, and Reno’s thought process is no exception.

Headstrong. Defiant.  Stubborn.

To a fault.

 That is Reno.

However, there, on occasion, are times when an Alpha needs to count on the support of rest of the pack, and being a lone wolf is no exception.  Just like with an dog, a relationship is built on trust.  If you lay food out for the lone wolf, in its own time, it will eventually come to take the food.  If you keep putting the food out, over time as trust develops, you will slowly be able to approach the wild animal.  However, if one toe is stepped out of line, if you frighten the overly cautious and paranoid beast, you will have to start over, but only after you prove yourself that you are worthy of trusting again.  If you actually hurt the animal, or go to scold it too harshly, it might not lash out at you, but it will never trust you again.  No exception.  This process of earning trust and respect is a very delicate and volatile time, but it is vital, and once said trust and respect is earn and solidified, the lone wolf will be loyal for life, even perhaps making the choice to die to protect you.

This is only phase one.

Once a relationship has been formed, the alpha male will constantly challenge authority, proving to himself and others around him, that he is the strongest, the most dominant, and that no one else has the right to dictate what they can and can’t do.  In simpler terms, they won’t listen to anyone but themselves.  As with dog training, this can be corrected, but a firm hand is required.  The trainer must be willing to stand their ground, not go back on their word, and assert their dominance is greater than that of the lone wolf.  The handler needs to prove, beyond a doubt, that there is a reason their word is law, that there is a reason for these rules, and that there is a reason to listen to them.  This requires constant vigilance, dedication and blood, but again, once trust is established, a bond is created for life.  However, if that bond is ever broken, the vicious, blood thirsty wild animal will return and death of the fallen trainer will be the most prominent solution.  You might be able to domesticate a wolf, but you will never be able to take the wild out of him, it will always be laying just under the surface, and it is the platform of trust and respect that keeps the beast obedient and at bay.

But wait… there’s more.

Much like that of a head strong dog, much like that of a natural predator, even after the lone wolf is trained and is able to function within the pack, if he is challenged aggressively by someone who has not earned his respect, the wolf will naturally stand its ground, barring it’s teeth as a warning not to play such dangerous games. If pushed further, the wolf will have no choice but to assert its dominance and bloodshed is usually the end result.  However, if the warning is listened to and the aggressor backs down, even if the retraction is assertive and aggressive, as long as the lone wolf feels that his place in the ranks is still upheld, he will back down.  As a side note, the lone wolf does not have to outwardly show his rank among the pack, he will gladly step aside and let others command the show, especially if the task is of no interest to him. This has nothing to do with dominance level or pack ranking because the lone wolf is choosing to let the other to take control, but between the two, there is a silent agreement establishing the true ranking between them.  As long as this silent ranking is maintained and the headstrong wolf does not feel his position is threatened, then there will be no problems.  Just because the wolf seems tamed and just because he listens to his handler, does not mean the same rules apply for everyone else.  Again, that respect has to be earn individually.  If trust has not been established, do not assume you have control and authority over the beast just because someone else does.  This is probably the biggest, most common, and most deadly mistake one can make when dealing with a domesticated lone wolf.

And there you have it. How to deal with Reno 101.  I have had this baseline idea in my head ever since I developed my muse, if you haven’t guessed, it’s a huge part of the foundation for his personality and reactions.  This is just the first time I’ve put it on paper.  I’ve very nervous to do so, so please respect this head canon and do not use, assimilate or reproduce.  Also, and more importantly, do not use for evil either.  It might seem like a handbook on how to manipulate Reno, but I assure you, it’s not as easy as this head canon makes it.

[ Tagging @shifi735 because I think you will find this interesting. ]

You know the other day i rewatched HTTYD and something got me thinking.

For what it looks at the beggining, the gang seemed to dislike Hiccup because of his lack of skills or nor ability to fight dragons

But what if they were jealous?

We saw how, from Hiccup’s pov, that the other kids were cooler because they were in the middle of the battlefield but…they only were putting down some fire. They werent even fighting or had any weapons.

Hiccup was the one with the access to them all. He was the one contributing more to the fight itself than the others.

So maybe the others were jealous, a little at least, because of all the priviliges he had and so they used his lack of strenght as excuse to mock him.

A&E are really taking all the anti-Hook complaints into consideration this season:

Antis: Hook’s character was soooo much better as a villain… A&E ruined OUAT by turning Hook into Emma’s puppy dog and making the show all about CS.

A&E:

what’s that you say? you liked Hook better as a villain?

OK! Here’s an entire season dedicated to how Emma loves him soooo much that she can’t live with out him so she sucks him into the darkness with her!

Now he’s a villain again!!! And immortal… with MAGIC!

Antis: Ugh. I wish Hook would just die already.

A&E:

Kill Hook?

OK! Let’s make his death the ultimate sacrifice - he needs to die to free Emma from the Dark One Curse and stop the former dark ones from creating hell on earth!

And then Emma, because she loves him more that life itself, will travel to the Underworld to get him back!  And of course everyone will join in the quest to save him - even Rumple! Hook’s such an important part of the main cast that naturally they’re all willing to risk their life to reunite him with his True Love Emma ;)

Antis: Hook’s just a useless side character. He has no story line of his own outside of playing love interest to Emma.

A&E:

You want Hook to have his own arc?

OK! We’ll give him a connection to someone from Camelot. And we’ll make his pirate rings important somehow. Then we’ll close 5A with a centric episode just for him.

And we’ll fill in his backstory a bit more too!

We’ll give you Hook as a child! And we’ll introduce his father.  We’ll make his dad someone important - and tie it in to the next season! That way we can give Hook a big focus in 5B!

Seriously people - be careful what you wish for. A&E’s love for Hook knows no bounds - they can, and will, turn any complaint into an epic storyline for Captain Swan.

#ok i can’t with this face #and all the feels #look at him #he so desperate #he wants to finally hear her say it #he didn’t want him to kiss him even #he just needed her to admit #that she feels something #that he’s not the only one feeling this connection #he’s not the only one who can’t get her out of his mind #that the girl who told him he is capable of love #is the one that truly loves him #that he has a chance of happiness #cause a girl like Caroline #which is light itself for Klaus #manages to feel something for him #he knows it #but he needs for even once to hear her voice utter these words to believe it #thank Joseph for this expression #cause Klaus in the end is just a man #that wants to be loved by the girl he likes

It’s the little things, in the end, that Erik falls in love with all over again.

Seven am on a Thursday and Erik is watching sunlight steal across the room, wandering across the seashell-white expanse of his sheets to nip warmth into the curls of Charles’ hair, speak morning light into the hollows of his throat. There are shadows left over though, still.

Charles’ wrists, pale and always hopelessly ink-stained in one place or another, rest hidden away in the too-long sleeves of one of Erik’s old jumpers.

His fingers, nails bitten short, are curled into his palm, holding small pockets of half-dark in his hands.

I love you, Erik thinks into the quiet. Fiercely. Without repentance. Charles moves in his sleep and light itself seems to go with him, the room reoriented onto a new axis and Erik falling back towards this familiar gravity. I love you, I love you.
