Today was the day trip with my school to Aracena which is a small town about an hour and a half away from Sevilla. Since I went alone here I met two girls, Kiah and Gabi. One goes to UPO and one to the University of Sevilla and live together here. First we went on a little “hike” that wasn’t really a hike, but it was a walk through the countryside and we got to see the pigs and horses and the cork trees and all sorts of other cool places. After that we were shown around the historical areas and hiked up a huge mountain to see this really pretty castle and church that used to protect the city. Aracena dates way back to the very first people to come to Spain so it is a very old city. It felt very rural and it was so different from all of the other places I’ve been here.
