Anakin and Obi-Wan. Skywalker and Kenobi. From the beginning of the Clone Wars, the phrase Skywalker and Kenobi has become a single word.

Younglings across the galaxy know their names, know everything about them, follow their exploits as though they are sports heroes instead of warriors in a desperate battle to save civilization.

The most under-appreciated film in history has to be The Prince of Egypt. I mean, I don’t care if you follow the religion, this a good fucking movie.

I mean, look at the love they put into the Egyptian culture and hieroglyphics:

Everybody is actually a realistic color of where they live:

ThE MOTHERFUCKING ART THEY PUT INTO THIS MOVIE

The fucking music alone won a fucking oscar people:

The fucking cast like have you seen this line-up???:

Strong female characters:

And last but not least - THE. MOTHER. FUCKING. BEAUTIFUL. HAIR:

and best of all, even though it’s based off of a bible story, it isn’t trying to ram god down your throat. legit the whole movie is about loving yourself and others

The first and only PlayStation Store in the Sony Metreon, an $85 million ‘Urban Entertainment Complex’ opened in San Francisco on June 16, 1999. Though it did well initially (with plans to open eight more in various US cities), a decline in traffic over the years led to a major overhaul in 2012. This renovation removed most of the arcades and Sony stores, and converted the structure into a more generic mall/Target. (PS Store - 1999-2009)

From 1999: “The “PlayStation game bar,” where visitors can sample video games, is, predictably, a hit. Gamers can plop down at the bar, ask for any title from one of the preternaturally cheerful ‘Gametenders’ and play at the bar’s free monitors to their hearts’ content. So is the mini movie theater now displaying the awesomely detailed images to be featured on the Playstation II, Sony’s next game machine.”

I can not express how important Inside Out is.

Because it’s a movie aimed primarily as kids that has awesomely diverse female representation when it comes to personalities, as well as beautiful animation, explains minds and emotions and memories and all that stuff in a way children can easily understand, passes the Bechdel test in like the first ten minutes, and stresses the importance of your own personal mental and emotional health.

This is a movie with a female protagonist (who enjoys both rainbow unicorns and hockey) that tells kids that if they’re feeling out of sorts, if they’re feeling sad or angry or afraid or disgusted, that’s okay. That’s normal. And it’s telling them to speak up, to tell someone, to express what they feel, because bottling up your emotions - putting on a brave face when you really need to cry - only leads to more pain.

Inside Out teaches kids that it’s okay to feel and that is so, so, so important.
