this movie is off to a great start!!!!

lol I never get how people are confused as to why the potc movies keep getting worse… it’s cuz they made it about jack. Like, each movie (in the trilogy) starts with Elizabeth. And ends with either her or will (and a scene of jack sailing off into a sunset) like it was HER story and yet apparently they thought the only thing you need to make the movies great was jack??? Please

Summary: You slept with your best friend, Jungkook. A mistake, a drunken adventure destined to gnaw at your mind. But what’s worse? You have feelings for him.

Genre: Smut, Angst (oh boy), fluff

Pairing: You x Jungkook

Word count: 5k

Warnings: Smut, mentions of drinking

You’ve had so many dirty dreams about Jungkook already. So many dreams that felt so real. That’s why when you reached over and touched his arm, you almost fell off of the bed.

You jumped up, dragging the sheet with you to wrap around your very naked body. It was as if he was a complete stranger you woke up next to by the way you backed up and away from the bed. It was worse than that.

It was your best friend.

Drew’s Great Big Beauty and the Beast Review

Let me start off by mentioning how much this movie means to me. I’ve kind of made my niche on the internet by dreamcasting Disney movies as if they were live action. I’ve made a ridiculous number of edits, I mean I’ve spent hours, days, probably weeks on this stuff at this point, and many of these edits have been focused on Beauty and the Beast. Live action versions of Disney movies are like… my Thing. And, to be totally honest, this really is only the second faithful adaptation. Alice in Wonderland was a total reworking of the Alice story, not really a cartoon-to-live-action like this. Maleficent completely retold the story from a different angle by making one Disney’s most vicious villains not only sympathetic but good. Cinderella is so close (and so good, I might add) but visually it’s vastly different from its animated counterpart, especially when it comes to Lady Tremaine and the Fairy Godmother, and it’s not a musical. The Jungle Book is the closest we’ve seen to a real and true “live action remake” as opposed to a live action reinterpretation. But here we are. Disney did it. They took one of their most beloved animated classics and straight-up made it into a live action movie without cutting any songs or really very much at all…

And oh boy, did they knock it out of the park.

I love this movie. This is what I’ve been waiting for.

I love Emma Watson as Belle. I think she’s a wonderful choice, I completely buy into her as Belle. She’s beautiful and intelligent and spunky. Her singing is fine. She’s not Kristin Chenoweth or Sutton Foster, but Belle doesn’t need to be. She’s also not Meryl Streep or Daniel Day-Lewis, you know, Emma doesn’t go through a massive transformation and disappear into the role, but she doesn’t need to because she’s already so much like Belle. Still, I don’t find myself watching it thinking about Emma playing the role, I think of her as Belle, which is the goal of acting really. I love that this Belle is so active. I love that she is continuously trying to find a way to escape from the castle. The addition of the laundry machine and teaching the young girl how to read is so good because it actually shows us Belle’s intelligence. In the animated movie, we know Belle’s smart because we’re told Belle’s smart. She reads books and, sure, she acts rationally and she certainly shows the poise of an intelligent person, but this new scene gives us an active example of her intelligence and creativity while also demonstrating the oppressive and small-minded nature of the townspeople. Emma’s Belle is charming and smart and lovely, and I think she captures the essence of Belle perfectly.

All that being said, our two male leads really steal the show for me. I’ve seen the movie twice now and each time, one of the leading gentleman really jumped out. The first time I watched, Luke Evans felt like the true shining star of the film. His Gaston reminds me of Jason Isaacs as both Captain Hook and Lucius Malfoy. He isn’t just vain… this guy is a legitimate narcissist, it seems like his mind has truly been twisted by the war. This Gaston is even more evil than the one we left behind in the world of animation. Gaston has always been terrifying because of his charisma. The way he’s able to charm the people of the village is chilling and this time around we see even more of that trait, paired with a darker and more violent streak particularly illustrated by Gaston tying up Maurice and leaving him for the wolves. Plus, both times I saw the movie the audience gasped in horror when Gaston stomped on Belle’s lettuces.

The second time I saw the film, I was specifically watching for Dan Stevens’s performance as the Beast and man, this is good stuff. The Prince at the beginning is such a drama queen. He’s so over-the-top with his costuming, wig, even his gestures are extremely theatrical. The make up at the beginning is particularly brilliant, burying the Prince’s face in streaks of blue and silver so he still feels like an obscure figure that we don’t quite see. When Belle first meets the Beast, this is all still evident. The way he hides in the shadows, even his lines of dialogue, it’s all very dramatic. And then as the movie progresses, you can see this flair for melodrama fade away as he becomes a more grounded person. He becomes gentler, kinder, and his intelligence, which has always been there, comes forward. By the time we see the Prince again at the end, you can tell that this is the same man but he has been changed. The animated film’s human Prince always felt disconnected from the Beast for me. Sure, they made the eyes the same, but it was hard to see much else because we just see so little of him, so he always felt rather vanilla. That’s not the case here. When the Prince transforms back to a human at the end, this feels like the same character we have watched throughout the film. I’m sure this is aided by the incredible motion capture and CGI work, because the Beast is animated superbly, but Dan’s performance is just stellar.

The objects are perfect. There’s only one shot that I think feels odd (when Belle is carrying Lumiere with Cogsworth walking in front as they lead her to her room) but other than that one moment, I never second guess them as objects. They feel and act real. Lumiere’s movements in particular are incredible, right down to his close up at the start of “Be Our Guest.” I was worried about Plumette before seeing the movie because the bird design is so unusual, but it makes sense since they needed her to be able to fly to get around, and doesn’t feel out of place at all in the movie. Mrs. Potts and Chip are also beautifully animated, they always feel like real and solid objects with weight to them. Their relationship is wonderful, so loving and caring. Chip’s line, “OK. I’m older” is one of my favorite little moments of the whole thing. Cadenza is a wonderful addition to our cast of characters and I did not expect his relationship with Garderobe, but they were an excellent surprise. And Frou Frou! I love that Frou Fou is Garderobe’s and that he becomes Cadenza’s bench and is therefore the link between the two throughout their years in the curse. They’re just so sweet.

Maurice has been an under-reported character in all of this, and that’s a shame because Kevin Klein knocks this role out of the park. He is absolutely wonderful as Maurice. He is fatherly and kind but he has also clearly made mistakes as a parent and that is kind of embraced and understood in the storytelling. He is sincere at all times in a role that is pretty exaggerated in the animated film. If Maurice’s arrival in the tavern had been played exactly like the original, it would have felt campy, but Kevin Klein’s earnestness grounds the moment in reality. Not to mention his quips about snow in June and “apparently that’s what happens around here when you pick a flower” are delivered brilliantly.

Let’s talk Lefou. I don’t like this Lefou, and here’s why. Every other character in this film feels developed in a natural way. It feels like we are learning more information about these characters that has always existed, we just didn’t fit it in the first time around. Lefou, on the other, doesn’t feel like a character who has been developed but a character who has been rewritten. They clearly got the seed of an idea to make him gay but felt squeamish about making him evil and gay (and rightfully so), so they wrote this redemption arc that feels forced and really doesn’t actually go anywhere… Lefou’s turn during the battle with the castle objects doesn’t actually do anything, so the whole thing feels arbitrary. After seeing the film the second time, my friend and I spent probably an hour and a half just talking about Lefou and came up with a brilliant solution to this whole mess of a character… more on that in a moment…

Incorporating the Enchantress into the story is very compelling. I think it’s very obvious who Agatha is throughout the movie, but it gives the sense that she wants the spell to be broken, she wants the Beast to learn his lesson, which is very interesting. Having her arrive after the spell has completed and actively reverse it is a riveting choice, and I actually felt like we were missing a moment with her where she realizes that she made a mistake. When she was watching the separated loved ones reunite, it seemed like there was a seed of remorse that was not addressed.

The character development is very well done across the board, but I think something this movie did that was important and contributes to its success is the development of the spell itself. I think this was one of the most brilliant moves the film made. The eternal winter around the castle explains the sudden weather changes in such a short period of time while still using the seasons as an emotional storytelling technique like the animated film. The wolves are also clearly part of the curse here – I would have actually liked to have seen them included in the finale sequence, either transformed into humans like the objects, or else disappearing like mist with the rest of the eternal winter. Having the castle crumble every time a petal falls from the rose is so smart as well; it explains why the objects know every time a petal fall while also representing their and the Beast’s disintegrating humanity. But the best part of the curse’s development was definitely the memory loss. Adding the simple line to the opening narration about removing the people of the castle from the minds of the people who loved them was absolutely inspired. This one quick line explained a huge loophole that the animated film left regarding the presence of a massive castle in the woods and a royal family that apparently the entirely world did not know about. But even better than that, it created some wonderfully emotional reunions at the end. My friend beside me gasped so loudly when our favorite teapot exclaimed, “Mr. Potts!” and the moment with Henri Cogsworth and his wife(?) was so hilarious and, in my opinion, subtly hinted at our second LGBT character in this universe. Which brings me to the Lefou thing.

Here’s what my friend and I came up with: in the opening sequence, we see Cogsworth lurking in the shadows telling the Prince that “it’s time,” we see Lumiere handing the Prince a candelabra, we see Mrs. Potts chasing after Chip… in the midst of all this, we could also show a masked jester entertaining a few people at the ball. When the Enchantress arrives, a lot of people run out – presumably that’s where Mr. Potts and Mrs. Cogsworth escape and why they’re not included in the spell – and the jester leaves with them as well. At the end, the Pottses are reunited, the Cogsworths are reunited, and then Lefou recognizes his old beau, Chapeau the violinist/coat rack, and joins the finale back in his jester outfit. It makes total sense for Lefou to be “the fool” of course and explains why he falls into the abusive friendship he has with Gaston, since it would parallel the relationship he probably would have had as a jester for the similarly self-centered Prince. This adds two quick two-second shots to the opening scene, one of the masked Lefou juggling or something and one of him fleeing when the Enchantress shows up, and about twenty seconds at the end for the reunion and revelation and, in my opinion, is so much less problematic than writing our first ever LGBT Disney character as an evil sidekick with a forced redemption arc – this way, he had his memory erased, just like everyone else. Just our little idea but I think it could have blended into this world quite smoothly. Alas, here we are.

Moving on! The finale is absolutely gorgeous. The whole ending sequence is my favorite thing about the whole film. The fight scene is fantastic and then from there to the end, everything is so marvelous. We know the objects are going to be okay in the end, but seeing them all finally lose the battle they’ve been fighting and become motionless household objects is… emotional! Then the Prince’s transformation is brilliant, giving the perfect nods to the original film, and each character’s subsequent change back to their human state is perfect (Cadenza’s teeth!), especially when Mrs. Potts and Chip go sliding down the steps. And then when she says, “You smell so good,” oh my gosh. Whoever contributed that line is a genius. I go all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it. Then we have the wonderful and funny reunions and then the final dance sequence, where Emma is beautiful and Dan is looking good in bright sky blue and rococo curls in his hair. Audra McDonald sings flawlessly and we have that beautiful moment between Mrs. Potts and Maurice that made my little shipper heart do a backflip, even if there is a Mr. Potts now. I’m still not sure if I’m on board with the growl, but I adore the line about the beard – apparently it was written for the original film and Paige O'Hara even recorded it! But it interrupted that finale sequence so they never used it. I think it works perfectly here, it’s so cute.

The first time watching, I felt the pacing was so odd in the film, with some abrupt transitions that didn’t quite work. I felt that less so the second time, maybe just because I was expecting it, and sometimes I actually liked the sudden change. I also don’t fully understand the shuffling of scenes at the beginning. The animated film goes (1) “Belle,” (2) Belle and Maurice at home, (3) Maurice leaves for the fair, (4) Maurice arrives in the castle, (5) Gaston proposes, (6) “Belle (Reprise),” (7) Philippe comes back and tells Belle to the castle. The movie rearrange this so almost all of the village scenes happen together, reordering that sequence as 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 4, 7. Because of this we end up going from Maurice’s whole scene in the castle, back to the village for about thirty seconds with Philippe and Belle, then right back to the castle again. This made the whole sequence of events feel rushed even though each moment was given about the same amount of time, or more, as the original film. Additionally, I felt some of the filming choices from a cinematography point of view were weird. There were several times that we were zoomed in on a character, usually Belle or Gaston in the village, and it felt like the shot was kept tight to hide something but then there wasn’t anything to hide… it’s a hard thing to articulate, but I definitely noticed it through both viewings.

The design of this movie is amazing. Breathtaking. Thousands of beautiful costumes and such detail – human Cogsworth’s buttons have the Roman numeral numbers on them! Not to mention the object designs. Lumiere’s candlestick form is clearly inspired by the Broadway production, which was an absolutely brilliant choice. Garderobe’s wardrobe form is A THEATRE, it has box seats and a stage with curtains as her mouth piece! Even the villagers are designed with such care, memorable and reminiscent of the original in many places – the man with the scissors and the guy with the mustache, the Baker is very similar to his animated design… I would have liked to have seen blonde silly girls to contrast them more distinctly with Belle, but they are what they are. The set design, from the village to the absolutely incredible castle, it’s all so, so good. I love the little flowers painted on the doorway to Maurice’s cottage and I loved the magnificent, baroque-meets-gothic design of an extremely unique castle. I know people are up in arms about the yellow dress, I know it’s not perfect, but it doesn’t stick out so horribly in the movie and it moves so beautifully in the ballroom scene. And honestly, I’ve never cared about the yellow dress, the blue dress is the one I’ve always loved and I just think the live action interpretation is glorious. It does not feel like a costume, it feels worn-in, it feels natural, like it’s just Belle’s favorite dress, and I just love it so much.

Speaking of detail, they named the village. And they named it Villeneuve. As in Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, the original author of the fairy tale. Come on. That’s fantastic.

Let’s see, some of my other favorite moments that jumped out at me that I wanted to mention… the whole “Gaston” scene in the tavern is awesome, maybe my favorite scene besides the finale sequence. I love that Lefou is going around paying everyone off to boost Gaston’s ego, I love the dance, I love the use of Tom, Dick, and Stanley as cronies throughout the entire movie, I love lifting the young woman and then lifting Lefou, the whole song is fun and funny and exciting and the new lyrics are just amazing - “Then I shoot from behind!” “Is that fair?” “I don’t care!” …That’s exactly what’s going to happen in the final battle. Ugh. So good.

The moment in “Something There” where the Beast moves to Belle’s end of the table, she puts down her spoon, and they both sip their soup out of the bowl… that hit me in a way the animated movie never has before. It’s amazing symbolism. He can’t eat with the spoon, she’s not going to lap it up like an animal, so they find a way they can both eat the same way. They’re meeting each other halfway. That’s some good stuff right there.

OH, and I can’t believe I haven’t mentioned “Be Our Guest!” Come on. They went hard with that. They put on a full Broadway production on the table in front of Belle! The way it just kept growing bigger and bigger was delightful. Plus I love that the grey stuff is designed after Be Our Guest Restaurant’s grey stuff, complete with the silver and grey chocolate caviar beads.

Replacing the animated film’s bookstore, which never really made sense in a town of people who think reading makes someone weird, with a small shelf holding a dozen old and worn books that Belle has read over and over is just such a wonderful touch. I love that Belle’s favorite play is Romeo and Juliet because she’s barely read anything else and I love that the Beast’s reaction is to roll his eyes at her selection. I would have liked to have seen the giving of the library be a little more deliberate and a little less off the cuff, and I definitely missed the “promises you don’t intend to keep” line, but I’m so satisfied with the choice to make the Beast a reader. Having “a very expensive education” totally makes sense, and what else would he have had to do with all that time? They each develop the other’s literary taste! What’s better in a relationship than that?

The new songs are lovely as well. “How Can A Moment Last Forever?” is so much better than “No Matter What,” I wish it could logically fit into the musical instead because it’s really, really good. “Days in the Sun” is so sweet, it’s nice to have those moments with the young prince and each of the objects and even Belle, and honestly I can’t stand “Human Again” so I’m good with this one, plus the lyrical nod to “A Change in Me” is nice. But “Evermore” is clearly stealing the show as far as the new songs are concerned. What a great song. I still think they could have done a little tweaking to the lyrics in order to still use “If I Can’t Love Her” but if we’re going to write a new song for the Beast, I’ll take this one. (But can we not digitally lower Dan Stevens’s voice next time? It sounds like a computer singing at some points.) I also loved all of the new/old lyrics that were incorporated into the songs we were familiar with. They felt fresh without being forced. The new “Gaston” lyrics are definitely my favorite, but the new lyrics that Mrs. Potts sings in the finale are touching. Plus, using the Broadway songs as underscoring was really nice, especially “Home.”

I’m just so delighted with this movie. Everything from the original is there but now there’s more. The stove is there. The coat rack is there. The footstool is there. They just paid so much attention to detail and did this movie the justice it deserved. I’m already prepared to call this my favorite movie. Easily. By miles. It’s beautiful and just absolutely everything I was hoping it would be.

Second time out/back from seeing Beauty and the Beast **SPOILERS ABOUND**

(aka bear with me b/c this review is a week and a half late and I can actually comment on stuff I loved throughout it. It might end up being long af so I’m sorry in advance bc I talk about when everyone got cast too. This is probably filled with typos.)

PPS: I am the minority who loved it deeply, and don’t have nothing to complain about. Except a few words on the group of people who sat beside me tonight and would not shut up during Evermore and the transformation scene aka MY MOST FAVOURITE DISNEY KISS EVER)

So lets get down to it. I LOVED this movie the first time I saw it. As I have stated numerous times through tags. Ill be real here I was skeptical as hell about this being turned into a LA remake. But as the casting was announced my worries went away completely?

BECAUSE JESUS CHRIST WHAT A FABULOUS CAST! I don’t even know who to start with honestly? All of them ARE JUST SO GOOD???

We’ll just start with the most obvious choice (and the one who had the most flack after being cast)

And that is the absolute wonder and light of my life DAN FUCKING STEVENS

BECAUSE THIS GUY. OMG. ANYTHING HE DID IN THIS MOVIE JUST…BLEW. ME. THE. FUCK. AWAY??? And I’m just so grateful and forever indebted to him for bringing quite possibly the best reinterpretation of the Beast/Adam to life. Like honestly the Beast is my favourite character ever he has been since I was 5 and I just…NO AMOUNT OF WORDS COULD DESCRIBE IT. (actually I have TONS of words and i’ll get more into this later) but I’m moving on for now.

Emma Thompson I love Emma T so much I have since forever and she’s so charming and soft hearted as Mrs Potts. Say what you will about the accents used in this movie I loved that she was English….

And Luke Evans I knew about him prior to this and vaguely, through watching him in The Hobbit and that god awful movie version of the Three Musketeers (same can be said for Dan, b/c before I watched some of his other stuff I had only know him from Night at the Museum 3)

Luke brought such a great energy to this character and I loved how Gaston started out as an okay dude but slowly dissented into his villainy? The way he portrayed this was astounding b/c as soon as the script called for the change up he handled it with such ease? And wow I just love Gaston so much in this movie.

Josh Gad we gotta talk about FUCKING JOSH GAD I’m not getting into the knitty gritty of things since its not my place to comment on such but I LOVED HIM IN THIS ROLE SO MUCH MORE THAN I LOVED HIM IN FROZEN? He’s so hilarious.  AND HIS LINES WERE A+++

He just brought so much classiness to LeFou and he just made him so likable?  and the fact that HE FOUGHT TO KEEP IN THE SNOWMAN GAG FROM THE ORIGINAL VERSION. I honestly hope they give me all the deleted scenes from this movie.

FUCKING EWAN MCGREGOR AND SIR IAN MCKELLEN AS COGSWORTH AND LUMIERE I just WOW WHAT A GREAT ACTING COMBO (aka all ive ever wanted from the remains of my dull life.)

AND AUDRA MCDONALD AS GARDEROBE AND STANLEY ‘ACTUAL KING OF EVERYTHING HE IS IN’ TUCCI as a sassy piano THAT WAS LITERALLY CREATED FROM SCRATCH FOR HIM? (more on these two later as well because omg they are everything to me and stole my heart??)

AND KEVIN  FUCKING  KLINE omg I loved him so much in this movie just PERFECT honestly.

I’m trying to keep this short so I can move on to my next bunch of thoughts. And not just yap about the casting. (Bullet points listed below, bc I’m getting into the changes) And to begin:

THE SCENARY AND CGI IN THIS MOVIE WERE FUCKING ASTOUNDING? I DIED? IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, say what you want about what the beast looked like. Dan Stevens exhausted himself entirely for 2-3 months just to make the beast into a computer animated caricature. AND I LOVED THE ANIMATION ON THE CASTLE STAFF? I also really loved the backstories for everyone it just filled in so much that I found lacking in the original. Just everything that filled in all the plotholes were A++

  • THE PROLOGUE and it being narrated by the ENCHANTRESS.(Side note: I loved the technicalities and consequences with this new curse)
  • Omg when Gaston stepped on Belle’s cabbages THERE WERE LIKE 3-4 KIDS THAT GASPED. It made me smile omg.
  • When Maurice and Phillipe were heading out of town and in the woods heading to the castle. One child was like “aww look at the horsey” I mean…
  • WHEN MAURICE IS IN THE CASTLE AND MEETS CHIP everyone laughed like honestly I was blessed with actually being a a cinema room full of people that laughed and reacted to stuff b/c last week when I went there were crickets, some child mad an off hand comment later on in the movie when Beast invites Belle to dinner and he does the smileTM I kid you not I heard “look his tiny teeth” I love his tiny fangs so much hes just so awkwardly endearing altogether.
  • all the songs in this movie and the additional lyrics woven into the film added 30 years to my life.
  • BUT LIKE THERE IS MORE BECAUSE OMG THEY GAVE COGSWORTH STUFF TO SING DURING “BE OUR GUEST” INSTEAD OF JUST “SOMETHING THERE”. LIKE THE ONLY OTHER TIME HE SINGS IS IN THE ORIGINAL DURING “HUMAN AGAIN” I love the flawless smooth transition from SIR IAN MCKELLEN belting out the COURSE BY COURSE bit of that verse and Ewan being like ONE BY ONE immediately after? honestly I always fist bump during that moment when I listen to the soundtrack. AND THE WHOLE NUMBER IN THE MOVIE IS JUST SOO GREAT. I love my crotchety old clock and dramatically extra candlestick. the best BROTP.
  • Ok, so the people I sat beside started laughing during little Adam’s part in Days In the Sun and omg I was off hand annoyed because it ruined my chance to start the water works even though I still cried.
  • BEAST TRASHING ON ROMEO AND JULIET WILL FOREVER BE ICONIC to me I LOVE WELL READ BEAST SO MUCH I’m tired of the ‘but I wish he would have stayed illiterate’ statements.
  • ALSO any time Beast gave Belle his little smiles??? they were so pure and cute
  • So seeing this movie a second time the yellow dress discourse is quiet frankly ?? to me I loved it AND I LOVE THE FACT THAT DAN STEVENS MADE THE BEAST UTTERLY DISTRESSED OVER ASKING HER FOR A DANCE IN THE BALLROOM? (THAT WHOLE SEQUENCE IS SO FUCKING GORGEOUS)
  • Which brings me to the make up scene everyone laughed and I almost could not stop laughing at the scene change.
  • Emma Thompson’s version of Beauty and the Beast is so wonderful. I love it.
  • Honestly everyone is at war against whether Josh or Dan’s version is better and I just prefer Dan’s version so much. I found Josh Groban’s version too slow even though he sings like an angel too.
  •  THE MOB SONG and the castle staff going up in arms was always my fave in the 90s version. And it did not disappoint.

Bullet points are done I am heading into paragraph summarizing my thoughts on the last 30-40 minutes. BECAUSE THIS SHIT WAS UNREAL, and HARROWINGLY DARK. AND I LOVED THESE CHANGES FROM THE ORIGINAL.

Like when Belle comes back and sees the Beast and he literally SHOUTS OUT HER NAME I am crying?? and deceased?? and then he gets shot 2 more times honestly this was equally amazing and heartbreakingly brutal.

And let me tell the whole concept of the castle actually breaking apart as the petals fall, that is just such a neat spin and I love it.

So like I said I found the twist with the curse fascinating because in the original the only thing it focused largely on was the Beast, Mrs Potts, Plumette, Lumiere , Cogsworth and FruFru. I LOVE THAT THE MOVIE CEMENTED AND ROUNDED ALL OF THE CASTLE STAFF AND GAVE THEM A LARGER SPOLIGHT THAN IN THE ORIGINAL LIKE THE CASTLE STAFF MAKES UP HALF OF THE CAST/CHARACTERS FOR THIS MOVIE. For the past week and a half people have said why was the inanimate scene so long and drawn out? Because the castle staff are the greatest and the only family the Beast has besides Belle that’s why… the end. Also I ship the hell out of Cadenza & Garderobe, Plumette and Lumiere AND MR AND MRS POTTS OMG.

Everyone is like “well why didn’t they say anything?”

The best was when they all became human again and reunited and were left with parting gifts from the curse. I laughed out loud when they showed Stanley Tucci with no teeth.

EMMA AND AUDRA singing the final number omg the whole coronation dance scene was everything.

No Strings Attached: Pt. 3

Pairing: Kol x Reader

Warnings: None

Word Count: 2173

The cab ride to the Mikaelson Compound felt terribly long. You had the need to just blow up Kol’s phone with calls and texts. But, you knew better that he would only ignore them so instead, you held back.

You gazed out the window and started slightly shaking your right leg from being so impatient to arrive at your destination already. We’re you really in danger or is it possible that Kol got jealous? Surely enough, you won’t stop until your question gets answered.

Finally after what felt like forever, you have arrived. You paid the cab driver with cash, letting him keep the rest of your change as you rushed out. Thank goodness Hope was spending the night at Hayley and Jackson’s apartment because you planned on raising hell once you got inside.

“Kol!” You shouted as you marched inside the compound. “Kol effing Mikaelson!”

Klaus and Elijah just happened to be sitting at the table exchanging words while drinking scotch. “Oh, hey guys.” You greeted, then went back to using your eyes to scan around the compound. “I know you can hear me!”

Just as you grabbed onto the railing to walk upstairs, Klaus stops you to get a word in. “And may I ask what my little brother did this time? It seems that bloke has a habit of getting himself into a mess.” If you had eyes in the back of your head, you would be able to see the amused look Klaus has on his face. The tone in his voice says it all.

“Long story, Klaus.” You weren’t in the mood to vent.

“I assume you’ve been drinking, miss Y/N? I can smell the alcohol in your breath from here.” Elijah said.

“Yup. Your sisters too.” You continued to make your way up the stairs without caring if Klaus and Elijah wanted to add on or not, you needed to speak with Kol.

After looking in room after room, you found Kol hanging out on the patio taking his time drinking out of a blood bag.

“Okay so you’re playing the ignoring game now?I’m not leaving until you tell me what’s going on.” You spat, stopping just a few feet behind him crossing your arms in front of you.

Kol sighed before speaking. “You don’t give up do you?” He turned to face you, setting the now empty blood bag on the nearby table.

You made no answer. “Fine.” Kol sassed then continued, “Well go on, let’s have a seat.” He pointed over at the bed since his bedroom didn’t have any chairs or couches available to sit on. You swallowed, then followed through, perching yourself at the edge of his bed as Kol did too.

“Okay, so?” You questioned, keeping your eyes on him.

“I suppose, seeing you with that vile man made me uneasy. I wanted to snap his neck the moment I saw him speak to you. But seeing as Marcel has these rules, I simply cannot.” Kol said.

“First of all, that man was very polite to me. And secondly, how in the world did it make you feel so uncomfortable that you just had to ruin our night out?” You asked, fixing him with a stare as you await your answer.

“I’m aware that we had these bloody rules about not allowing ourselves to feel feelings for each other. I mentally punish myself for it everyday.”

“Um what?”

Kol took a deep breath. “I, Kol Mikaelson, have unintentionally fallen for my…fuck buddy.” He admitted while forcing a smile.

You stifled a laugh and fell silent for just a moment. If you could, you’d pinch yourself to make sure you weren’t dreaming. How in the hell did you get so lucky?

“My apologies, darling. I know this is uncomfortable for you since it’s obvious you’re to trying to move forward with your life and all.” Kol stood up off the bed, he frowned, feeling embarrassed because he assumed you don’t feel the same way he does. “You asked, so I answered.”

“Oh no no no. I’m just processing this right now. Sit back down.” You patted your hand next to you on the firm mattress. “So when I told you yesterday that I wanted to start dating again. I actually don’t.”

Not a word came out of Kol. He just sat there trying to read your facial expressions.

“I ended up having feelings for you too, but since we made that stupid vow, I thought you followed it.” You confessed.

“Why not bother telling me, Y/N?” Kol questioned, resting his hand on top of yours.

“I could say the same to you, Kol.” You blurted, then softened your tone of voice. “But I hate rejection, so, I figured if I just distanced myself, the feelings would go away, you know?”

“I understand, love. Well since that’s all in order, what shall we do?” Kol quickly lightened the mood. He can’t ever be in his feelings for too long or else he’d go crazy.

You stretched, then made yourself comfortable on the bed by resting your head on the pillow. “I don’t know, you tell me.”

Even though Kol ruined your planned night out, you couldn’t help but get over it, especially since he looks so hot in his button up and you were still a little buzzed. Laying in his bed gave you dirty thoughts of all the sex you had with him. You flirted with the idea of Kol being on top of you right now. And of course, since you were his play thing for those last couple of months, you knew exactly how to get him in the mood.

You brushed your hair with your fingers to one side and teasingly bit your bottom lip, hoping it wouldn’t look too obvious that you’re trying.

“You’re a daft one, Y/N.” Kol chuckled, then crawled over to place himself on top of you. He planted his lips on yours which led to a hot and steamy kiss. You started to wrap your legs around his waist until all of a sudden, he stops and pulls back, giving you a devilish grin.

“Um, what’s wrong?” You questioned.

“Sorry, but that’s all you get, love.” Kol made known with that grin plastered all over his face.

“You’re annoying.” You scoffed and moved him off of you so that you can sit up on the bed.

“Oh don’t be so cross with me. Now that we both fancy each other on a deeper level, you’re going to have to work for it, darling.”

At first you didn’t understand, but you realized that Kol did have a point. “Yup, you’re right. So how do we approach this then?”

Kol took a second to think about it and then an imaginary light bulb appeared over his head. “I have a thought. How about I take you on a date or two and we move from there?”

“I’d love that.” The smile on your face could be seen from a mile away. You leaned over to give Kol a kiss on the cheek. “Pick me up tomorrow night at 7:00.”

“Brilliant.” Kol agreed.

You left the room so that you could end your night with Kol at that. Waking downstairs, you can still see Klaus and Elijah in the same spot. “Great.” You mouthed to yourself.

“Where’s Kol? Ah, let me guess. You rid of him with that dagger?” Klaus implied, taking a sip of his bourbon. Elijah just sat there and decided to mind his own business this time by keeping his opinions to himself.

“Ha. Ha. Very funny.” You joked, then walked out the front so that you could wait outside for your cab. There was no way you were going to wait in the middle of the compound for your cab with Klaus. You were tired and just wanted to go home and get some rest.

As you were waiting, you thought about how excited you are to go on your first date with Kol. You mentally crossed your fingers hoping that this leads to something amazing.

(The First Date…)

You never thought of Kol being the romantic type. Who can blame you though because you were so used to being his booty call that being viewed as something much more will take some getting used to.

The night sky was pitch black as the time is a quarter to 9. Kol told you to dress up and have you meet him at his house. Arriving there, there was a stranger on the driveway dressed in a suit who had special instructions on where you to lead you. You figured Kol had compelled this man.

The man led you towards the backyard in a path that led to the trees which had beautiful lights and lanterns wrapped around and hanging. The end of the path brought you to a table meant for two with high end looking plates and utensils. The table was also minimally decorate with well lit candle and rose in the center of the table. The best part about it, is seeing Kol sitting at the table waiting especially for you.

“Hello, darling. You made it.” Kol smiled, then he got up to pull your chair out for you.

“I mean of course. But oh wow. You did all of this?” You sat down, still looking around amazed with everything.

“I may or may not have compelled someone to help me.”

“Of course you did.” You rolled your eyes at him playfully.

It didn’t take long for the compelled butler (as you call him) to bring out a cart filled with 3 course meals. “Not too shabby.” You commented.

After lots of food and laughter, the night ended successfully. Kol walked you to the car and innocently planted a kiss on the forehead. Butterflies took over your stomach on your drive home and you laid in bed with a gigantic smile on your face.

(Several Dates Later…)

It has been almost a month now that you and Kol had agreed on this whole ‘dating’ thing. To the fortune of both of you, everything has been going great and you were just dying to have sex with him already. You were hoping he was thinking the same thing too.

Today is your day off, so you decided to invite yourself over to the Mikaelson Compound to hang out with Kol. The plan was to watch a couple of movies and maybe even spend some time with Hope if she isn’t with her mom and Jackson. Today would also be the first time that the both of you had alone time in his room since this all started since Kol’s been really strict on taking you out on dates only.

Walking in, you see Rebekah playing with Hope. Kol was just hanging out on the chair scrolling through his phone. It looked as if he was doing it to kill time as he waited on you. “Hey guys.” You announced.

“Hi, Y/N.” Rebekah greeted you, then went back to smothering Hope in kisses.

After Kol heard your name, he looked up and put his phone in his pocket. “Ah, darling. It’s about time you arrived.” Kol stated, greeting you with a hug and a long kiss on the lips.

“Oh you two lovebirds.” Rebekah stopped to compliment.

“So, I brought my favorite Tim Burton movies that we can watch.” You said to Kol, pulling the movies out of your bag for Kol to see, then put it back inside. You would love to give Hope some of your attention, but whenever Rebekah is here, she always tends to hog her.

“Whatever you like.” Kol said while looking at you with loving eyes.

Of course movie time meant cuddling in Kol’s bed under the warm blanket. 30 minutes into the movie, Kol had his hand over your thigh. It wasn’t long until the temptation got to him which led him to slowly traveling his hand high towards your core. Since you’re the one that’s probably wanted it more than him, you were more than happy to allow Kol to do whatever he wanted to you.

You started breathing heavily and let out light moans while he slowly rubbed his fingers in circles through your panties. One thing led to another and the next thing you know, the both of you were ripping each others clothes off.

Before getting too aggressive, Kol stopped himself so that he can take his time with you. This was a first considering when you two were friends with benefits, you were practically attacking each other. But this moment, at this pace was a euphoric experience.

You’ve never made love to anyone like you’ve done with him and you have the confidence to say that he’s the best you ever had, enough to put you to sleep. As Kol was spooning you while you were asleep, he made sure to kiss you goodnight. “So much for finishing this movie, love.” He whispered in your ear.

Friday rolled around quicker than (Y/N) was prepared for, she closed her eyes as tears flowed down her cheeks bringing along mascara and eyeliner that wasn’t sitting perfectly. Her skin was pale, her lips were a tint of blue and her eyes were bloodshot. Opening her eyes, she came face to face with a zombie; someone she was accustomed to be now.

She threw her head back and sighed loudly, running her hand through her hair; letting the newly fresh curls spill over her shoulders. “Why can’t I just be normal?” She cried, sobbing into the palm of her hand. (Y/N)’s eyes glanced at her phone and when she saw it was six o’clock already, she let out a louder sob.

Her father rushed into her room in a split second, hearing the noise of his daughter caused his heart rate to pick up. “Princess,” He sighed, walking up to her desk and engulfing her into a hug. “What’s wrong?”

“I have a date,” She sighed, relaxing into the familiar scent of her father. Bert looked down at (Y/N) in shock, not once this week did she mention that she had a date, nor that she had a friend. Bert knelt down in front of his crying daughter, grasping her face in his hand and wiping away the black liquid. “And who is this lucky fella?” Bert teased causing (Y/N) to roll her eyes.

(Y/N) stared behind her father into her reflection, feeling slightly better already. “The Sheriff’s son.” She whispered, just audible enough for Bert to hear and he let a laugh as Noah’s son appeared in his mind. “Nice lad.” He noted, before his smile faltered, “And why are you crying?” His worried eyes followed (Y/N)’s glance to the makeup and clothes thrown on the bed.

• okay so ponyboy would probably be the first to see the dog

• like he’d be walking home from the movies or something and see it just sitting in front of him

• which was great cause he was gonna try to do that anyway

• once he got home, he brought the dog inside and went to look for food

Should we just hand out awards for women just because it's a movie directed by a woman? I don't judge by anyone's race or gender. So I believe that if someone deserves a nomination or a win, it's because they deserved it and not because of some form of affirmative action. I'm not trying to change your opinion, I'm just trying to understand why we need to nominate someone based on their gender rather than their work. I'm new to your blog so I'm just asking. I'm willing to have an open convo.

I mean you say you want an open convo but you start off with the most ridiculous leading question. I have literally never said that someone should be nominated for awards because they’re a woman. In fact every year I get angry because I see so many works that are amazing that are shut out and not treated seriously because they are made by women.

The subtitle of this blog is: Great movies and the women who make them. I don’t just post about any movies, I post movies that I like or ones that seem interesting or beautiful or worthy of discussion. The fact that you can come into my inbox and ask a question like this makes me believe you haven’t seen very many films made by women. Maybe you should start and then you would see the rich wealth of material that gets ignored.

In fact, instead of making strawman arguments maybe your time would be better suited asking why so many men get nominated for directing awards even when their films aren’t critically acclaimed. Better yet, ask yourself why so many films that come out of studios and are pushed for awards are directed by men (hint, it’s not because men are better at directing).

Look, honestly I think awards are dumb. Especially with big ones like the Oscars it’s all about campaigning and publicists and how much money a studio is willing to invest in what they’ve decided to push for the year.

And at the same time they’re not dumb. Because winning a major award at a festival can get a director an agent, and winning an Oscar can bump up their salary and insure that they can get in the right rooms to pitch their projects and big name stars will want to work with them and that people will see their movies. So it matters that directors who are women don’t get pushed for major awards and it matters that their films get ignored by agents and studios and it matters that they aren’t even allowed in the room to pitch to studios for movies that are considered awards material and it matters that major festivals won’t program them in the main competitive sections.

And maybe when you realize all the obstacles that women directors face you’ll realize that it doesn’t matter if you say that you don’t judge women by their race or gender because the people who make the decisions about what movies get made and what movies get into your local cinema and what movies win awards DO judge people by their race and gender and they’ve judged that the movie you’re going to see is 99% of the time going to be directed by a white male.

Who’d You Rather?~Calum Hood

“Welcome actress Y/n Y/l/n.” Ellen said as you came around the corner and walked over to her. You both danced together before laughing and hugging. “How are you?”

“I’m good. I’m really good.” You smiled getting comfortable in the chair. “How are you?” You asked.

“I’m great.” She smiled and right away got into the interview asking you tons of questions about your up coming movie and some other things. “Let’s play a game.” She said.

“Oh boy.” You laughed as everyone laughed with you.

All right, it’s Misfit Appreciation Day 2017, and we’re finally at the 1990s for the entry here.

When a lot of people talk about the 1990s, it’s usually with scorn, often making accusations of every comic being loaded with over-muscled men, women with impossible body types, pupil-less eyes, shoulder pads, big knives and bigger guns. And I’m here to tell you that’s like assuming you know what the 1970s was like because you watched a bunch of blackploitation movies. While there were a ton of bad books, there were plenty of awesome and amazing books from that decade. Just off the top of my mind, Kingdom Come, Mike Allred’s Madman (as well as his series Red Rocket 7), League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Hellboy, Preacher, Sandman Mystery Theatre, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac… I wanna count Maus in there, but I can’t remember if it started in the early 90s or late 80s and I’m too lazy to do a Google search. And honestly… Whether they were great books or not, the Knightfall and Death of Superman stories were a LOT of fun to read. The Birds of Prey started around this time as well. Valiant’s Unity Crossover early on was amazing to read at that time… And that’s just the stuff I remember off the top of my mind. And there were a ton of comics that started off questionable that turned into something amazing. Witchblade turned into Switch (which I’m still waiting on issue #5, Stjepan Sejic!) Glory, which was kinda crappy turned into the amazing comic by Joe Keatinge. And then there’s Prophet… Which is all sorts of amazing, considering how bad that book was.

The 90s gave us some pretty amazing things. Yeah, there still was rampant sexism and stupid violence. But there was some very great comics and ideas that still influence very positive things to this day in comics.

Such as the Batman Adventures, and a special one-shot it had that, for me, is the greatest comic of all time: Batman: Mad Love

The use of shading and strong line work. Story panel layouts and “camera work”. Strong dialogue and even stronger storytelling. Characterization so developed that even if you didn’t watch the show, you knew what was going on and who the characters were. We all know how great the show was, but this was the first time i’ve seen a comic book fully make me feel like I was reading an episode of the series. (So much so that I actually prefer the comic book to the episode!) That book was THE most influential comic to me EVER. I would probably have given up being a cartoonist long ago, if not for that book. It’s probably more responsible for me being the artist I am, more than anything else.

So it’s only fitting that Misfit’s entry into the 1990s be based on the comic book series that created… Well… Created me. :)

Fic Recs: McCree/Hanzo

I was asked to do some Fic Recs today for a few pairings, though the only ones I’m really into enough to have read a lot of are McHanzo, McReyes, and McGenji (Sorry for the lack of R76 and Shimadacest - I have no beef with either, but they aren’t really ships I get overly excited for) so here’s the McHanzo Edition.

I’m just reccing a few of my favs off the top of my head for now, but I’m certain there’s some amazing ones I’ve either forgotten or haven’t read yet, so feel free to suggest me some if you want :)

Also if you enjoy any of these fics PLEASE leave a comment on the author’s work! Even something small is great and it would probably make someone’s new year look really promising to start it off with some nice feedback, don’t you think?

  • Popcorn Redemption  by Wyntera (No Rating) - They say life isn’t like the movies.Well, partner, they ain’t never worked for Overwatch.

This fic is set during the recall and is super slowburn, but damn it does it well. Their movie dates are too good, I love it!

  • Here There Be Dragons by FrostyaurusRekt (Explicit) - He lounges in his chair, legs splayed almost obscenely. “Y’know, my ma used to read me stories at night. ‘Bout great adventurers led astray by a villain. ‘Don’t stray off the edge, here there be dragons.’ I reckon that’s usually where the best treasures were found.” A roll of eyes and a scoff are his prize for his little ramble. “Don’t be ridiculous.”

An AU where (not brainwashed) McCree works for Talon. This one is SO GOOD. It messes me up emotionally every time. Like, no lie I really did get close to tears at one point. If you like seeing McCree getting hurt (then comforted) this’ll be up your alley.

  • To Build a Home by Qnyan (Series - Mature) - A story that follows the relationship between Jesse McCree and Hanzo Shimada, beginning during their early years and retelling the trials and tribulations that follow.

This is hands down one of my favourite McHanzo series I’ve read. It follows the idea of young Deadlock Jesse meeting young Heir Hanzo, a trope I am an absolute sucker for. Also, the relationships Jesse forms with Reyes, Ana, and Genji are so satisfying to read about, I am in love with this ‘verse, seriously.

  • Harmony by Winterwhite (Mature) - AU: Hanzo and Genji are both disowned thanks to The Dragon Incident through much of the castle. They go to Blackwatch. They meet Jesse. Featuring Dad!Reyes and many small difficulties.

Winterwhite is such a fantastic writer, this one is an absolute gem. I adore the idea of a young Hanzo being not smooth at all in his crush on young Jesse, and the humor here is so deadpan and perfect, I love it.

  • Look Up and Wonder by MarieJacquelyn (Explicit) - Jesse McCree gets a job offer to rescue one H. Shimada from his own family at 3:23 AM. He accepts it at 3:54 AM. It does not go according to plan. (An Overwatch/Firefly AU)

I will just come out and say it: I thought Firefly was just an ‘okay’ show. So I held off on this one at first, but I was a fool, this fic is incredible. Seriously this is written so wonderfully, and every chapter has me dying to know what’s going to happen next. Sombra as the ship AI is fantastic as well.

  • Scoundrels and Thieves by Vaguely_Concerned (Series, ranges from General to Mature) - Canon AU where the Shimada family and the Deadlock gang used to do business, Hanzo and McCree had a thing… and then McCree gets the ‘offer’ from Overwatch.

Yet another ‘meet when they’re young’ fic, but listen. Listen. I’m weak for that. And this series needs so much more love, don’t pass it over just because the majority of it is rated G and T. It’s so sweet, and can heartbreaking at times, and I just love how every work is a different point in their lives.

  • Striptease by Ruriska (Explicit) - Contains: a birthday party, a grumpy lawyer, his cheerful brother, an accidental striptease and probably some sort of romance… eventually.

McCree getting mistaken for a cowboy themed stripper is never not going to be funny to me. This story goes from hilarious to dramatic so fast and I LOVE it. Ruriska is a treasure, for real.

OK so that’s just a few, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! There’s so much more I want to rec, but I don’t want to make this post a mile long, so if you want to some more, my AO3 is Nox_Wicked and my bookmarks list is full of stuff from the OW fandom I think is pretty nifty :0)

“Mason, I’m not going on a date with Liam.” You hissed, keeping your voice down as you sped through the corridors to the next class. Mason scrambled behind you, trying to keep up. “Please, (Y/N), I don’t want to go out with Corey by myself. I’ll be more…. Me when I’m with you.” You stopped suddenly, turning to face him; an angry look on your features.

“Mason, listen to me.” You spoke slow and clear, “I will not, and I will never, go on a date with Liam Dunbar.” Mason’s face dropped, your heart aching with the fact you caused your best friend the hurt he felt. “Pl –“ You gave him a pointed look, “Look, I’ll come but only if you find someone else for me to spend the evening with.” He nodded, a massive grin on his face. “Okay, perfect.” He started to walk off, before he turned to you, “Anyone in mind?”

You thought for a second before a familiar brunette exited one of the classrooms. You smirked at Mason and nodded your head in his direction. Mason glared at you before rushing off after Theo Raeken.

“Sweetheart, he’ll like you in anything.” Your mother said, leaning against your door frame. You groaned, searching through a pile of clothes at the bottom of your wardrobe. You cursed yourself for never organizing it. “Mam, this isn’t some little boy; this is Theo Raeken,” You exclaimed pulling out a cute red top that had a v-neck which would give the perfect view. “That’s mine.” She said, laughing as you clung it to your chest. “Enjoy,” She laughed before leaving you to yourself.

You pulled the shirt on, it covering every curve perfectly. You matched it with a pair of black tight fitting jeans and a pair of boots. “Mam,” You shouted, “Leather jacket or my fur coat?”

“Leather,” You heard her shouting back up before the beeping of a car horn tore your attention away. You sighed, fixing your hair and lipstick before rushing down the stairs. “Bye mam.” You slammed the door shut, climbing into the passenger seat with Mason.

He took a glance at you before shaking your head, “(Y/N), we’re going to the movies.” You blushed furiously realizing you were trying too hard. “I know, but it’s Theo, Mase.” You sighed, leaning against your seat. He mumbled a reply but you weren’t listening.

Pulling up to the theater, you stepped out of the car and followed Mason in through the doors. He made a beeline to Corey who was standing next to your date. Your heart rate sped up and anger filled your head, you swore you were seeing red.

You looked at Mason, who had a frown on his face. “(Y/N), I’m so sorry.” He whispered, before following Corey to the concussion counter. You sighed and turned to face your date. “Look,” Liam started before you raised your hand, “I only have two things to say to you; Number one is I wouldn’t be here if I knew it was you and two, the only reason I’m not storming out that door is for Mason…. And he was my ride.” You snarled, stepping closer to Liam who listened to every word you spat.

He rolled his eyes, before taking a step towards you; there was as little as an inch gap between you. “You listen, Princess, I’m here because Mason said he’d pay for our tickets and food, and to be honest you’re not too bad to look at.” You rolled your eyes before walking towards Mason who was staring at you in shock. “Guys, we’re in public.” He sighed, smiling apologetic at Corey who couldn’t help but smile back at him.

You took one of the boxes of popcorn from the counter and a drink, smirking at Liam. “The screen is nearly full, so we couldn’t get four seats together.” Your smirk faltered, “But we’re only a few rows apart.” Mason added in quickly, stuffing the tickets in the palm of Liam’s hand and waved goodbye.

Taking your seat near the back of the theater, you made yourself comfortable with Liam sitting beside you. There was an awkward silence but you didn’t care; you didn’t want to talk to him. Before the movie even started, the popcorn was nearly gone since it was being shared between you and Liam.

The movie wasn’t great and it was already a half hour into it. You were bored, but tried not to fall asleep, just in case you snored. You jumped slightly when you felt a hand on your thigh. You snapped your head to Liam, who was staring intently at the movie with a straight face; not paying attention to you. “What are you doing?” You hissed, ripping his hand off you. He chuckled, bringing it back but closer to your vagina. He squeezed the fat roughly, causing you to bite your lip to suppress a moan.

He leaned over towards you, his mouth pressing against your ear, “I knew you always wanted me.” You scoffed, shoving his hand off you and standing up; people sighing angrily around you as you told them to move. You took out your phone and texted Mason saying you were sorry you weren’t going to make it to dinner.

You were never one to run away from your problems but Liam Dunbar pushed you over the edge every time you spoke; even if he didn’t mean to. Ever since freshman year, you two never got along and it developed into plain out hatred. There was no deny that he was gorgeous, but you never thought beyond that – only once.

You were walking down the dark pavement, away from the cinema and towards where you live. A car horn made you look to your left and you saw Mason’s car stopping. You sighed, opening the door but paused when you saw Liam. “Go away.” You growled, slamming the door shut and storming away from the parked car.

“(Y/N),” Liam shouted, getting out of the car and running towards you. You picked up your pace, not wanting to look at him or talk to him. “Can you let me talk for a minute?” He pleaded, you felt him getting closer to you. You stopped and turned to face him, causing him to crash into you. “Look, I don-“ His lips crashed onto yours, your eyes widened and you shoved him away. “What do you…” He pulled you by the waist, his lips meeting yours again; he was desperate and begging you to kiss back. “Fuck sake, (Y/N),” He snapped, “Just give it up.” He snarled, staring at you with a look of determination. You were breathing heavily out of anger and shock, you didn’t know what to do. Did you really want to kiss him back? Why were you even thinking about that?

He took a step closer to you, his eyes never leaving yours. “Remember that kiss we shared two years ago? I know you wanted that,” He whispered, a tear slid down your cheek as you remembered the memory of the week your father passed away, “I know you don’t hate me, and I know that we would make a great couple.” He insisted, resting his forehead against yours as you took a deep breath.

“Liam…” You sighed, melting into his touch. “I know,” He whispered, pecking your lips softly. “Come home with me tonight,” You opened your eyes and looked at him, “Just to talk.” You warned, kissing his lips hesitantly.

“Come on.” He whispered, grabbing your hand and dragging you to Mason’s car.

Your heart rate was going ninety, your walls have collapsed after years off building them. Liam was the reason the walls were so high, and if anyone could break them, it was only him.

Do you have any tips for a newly starting RPG player?

- Picking a game
Look into Quickstarts and Beginner Boxes until you find something you like. You can get a few different QuickStart PDFs from DrivethruRPG for free.
- Don’t be afraid to get into character
Everyone is there to play make believe and it’s far better when everyone throws themselves into character than when people are trying to maintain a facade of cool detachment while playing. Good role playing will often get you some bonus xp from the GM too.
- Keep notes or better yet, a journal
A little notebook will help you keep NPC’s in order, keep related information together and help you get back into the game easier at the start of each session. The GM can check out player notes when they may have forgotten something or draw on the opinions expressed within for new ideas.
- Drop your hang ups
The games table needs to be a safe place for everyone and people who game come from many different groups. Make your gaming group a welcoming one, diversity benefits us all by giving us a larger pool of experiences to draw upon. Gaming is not solely the domain of white male geeks many believe it to be.
- Game forums
A super handy resource many people overlook even though it’s more accessible than ever is the Internet. I am currently running a Star Wars game and started off with a published adventure, I went to Fantasy Flight Games forums and found out what other people did to add to the game and came away with a few great ideas.
- Think of the story like a movie or book series
Foreshadowing, red herrings, Chekhov’s gun, pay attention to everything (this is where notes can come in handy) and remember to pump NPC’s for information. The person who wrote the adventure put everything there for a reason.
- Have a good idea of WHO you are playing
Don’t think of your character as “Level one, Human, Fighter.” Work with the GM to give them a personality and background that is interesting and try to consider things from that perspective. Most classes gain their abilities through training, where did you get yours? Did you always intend to make your way as an adventurer? Do you have family? A goal? How has your past challenged your world-view? How was your outlook on life coloured by your training? The character development memes on tumblr are handy for this, the ask memes can be too if you answer them in character.
- Avoid cliches and negative tropes
The best example I can think of for this is called a Fishmalk… In Vampire: The Masquerade there is a clan of Vampires called Malkavians who, because of their vampire blood all gain a “derangement” which is basically a mental illness they have to deal with which many players read and instantly thought “I am going to play my Malkavian as a wacky vampire version of Bugs Bunny, only with less restraint and ability to reason, I shall also make them carry a bloody teddy bear wherever they go, wear bunny ears and pyjamas to every social event and run about hitting NPC’s in the face with fish.” When they should have been thinking more Dexter Morgan or Annie Wilkes who are viewed as mostly normal if somewhat odd by people who don’t directly experience the manifestation of their mental illnesses.
- Be mindful of lore
Work with your GM or players to craft characters that fit the setting, reserve character ideas that don’t fit for other games. Most game worlds are developed enough to find something you will enjoy.
- Don’t Powergame or Minmax
That is to say, don’t make character build decisions based on what will get you a bigger attack die more HP or access to a lightsaber if it’s not right for your character. You’re there to play a person not a mathematical construct.
- GM’s may want to provide “player packets”
Maps, a brief history, local legends, news and rumours and a rundown of the local power structure, slang specific to the setting and a glossary of terms are all things that could be handy for a player to know, presented in a little folder that contains their character sheet can help them have needed information at hand instead of forcing you to go digging through notes when they have more general questions about the setting.
- Finding a group
Many company websites have forums containing a group finder thread. Game shops may have advertisements for gaming groups posted about and some stores like Haven for Heroes in Port Jervis NY will let you play in store.
- Engage your fellow players not just your GM
If you are in a group with the other people at the table don’t only be talking to your GM. If you think your character would discuss things with another character at the table talk about it, you can often get bonus points out of your GM for good roleplaying ;)
- Dealing with conflict
Be cool headed and wait to talk it over with the GM or offending party and the GM when there is a break. If things don’t go your way don’t be a broody grump about it, try to move on. If things do go your way, don’t be a gloating jerk either, he only thing worse than a poor loser is a bad winner.

It was cool windy Saturday in the middle of Spetember. School had just started for me at Tulane University in New Orleans. I was a senior and had been in total bliss for the past three years. The reason? Kyle Spencer my amazing boyfriend. He was a frat boy and I was a frat girl. My fraternity was having a party tonight at the Zeta Kappa Mu house, aka my fraternity. Yes it was very popular for someone from our fraternitys to get together. I didn’t care it was fate for us to meet. It all happened when I was walking on campus on my first day at school and some jerk approached me.

“Hey sugar! You want some of this?” this college boy asked as he started running towards me.

“No thank you.” I said trying to make him go away.

“Awwww. Don’t be like that baby. I just want to have some fun!”

“Well you better scram before my..” I hesitated and blurted out the first thing that came into my head,” boyfriend comes to meet me!”

“Oh really? Where is this so called boyfriend?”

“I just said that he was meeting me here soon.” I said getting annoyed that the guy wouldn’t go away. He started to approach me and I backed away. He got closer to me and grabbed my wrist.

“HEY! Get off of me!” I yelled.

“I thought you had a boyfriend.”He said. But little did I know that a boy heard the whole thing an decided to stop it before it went any farther.

“She does.” The boy said. I turned my head away from the from the college student and looked at the boy who saved my life. My (Eye Color) eyes met his dark brown eyes.

“I think you should get your hands off my girlfriend mister.” The boy said. The college guy then released his grip on my wrist and the boy wrapped his arm around my waist protectively.

“Like I told you, you better scram you know now since my boyfriend is here.” I said confidentley. The college guy looked at who had his arm around me and ran for his life.

The boy released his arm from my waist when we couldn’t see the jerk anymore.

“Thank you for doing that. I really appreciate that.” I said looking at the ground rubbing my arm.

“Hey don’t mention it. I can’t help myself from saving someone espically if it is a beautiful girl like yourself.” You immediatley blush at his compliment and look up in his eyes. “Kyle, by the way.” Kyle held at his hand and you took it.

“(Y/N)” You reply shaking his hand.

“Beautiful. Just like you.” Kyle responds. I chuckle lightly at his flirt. “What do you say we go and get a coffee?”

“I would love that.” I say. Kyle takes my hand and holds it. We walk to the coffe shop on camous, hands in hand. Ever since then we have been in love.

Tonight Kyle and his frat brothers were coming to the party tonight. I was excited to see him because he just got back from a school trip for football. Yes I texted him if his team won adn he texted back saying that they killed the other team. Once I read the text I decided that we would have a party in celebration for their win as soon as they came back. They arrived early this morning so I sent out party invitations to everyone. Apparently the new of having a party reached outside the campus and reached to the movie star Madison Montegomery. I one-hundred percent believe that someone tweeted it and it got around EVERYWHERE. I wasn’t upset that more people were coming, I was actually happy. That means that I could show off to more people about how great my boyfriend is.

I started to get ready at eight o’clock since the party started at nine and supposedly to end at midnight but I doubt it. I got finished changing into my (Favorite Color) dress and went down the stairs to finish decorating. I hung up the red and blue disco lights and the ice sculpture of God knows what. It was about nine o’clock when people started flooding which was good. This party was much bigger but it is okay the more the merrier. I saw some guy name Chad enter with packages of beer which I didn’t really care unless underage people were drinking it. I just let it slide because I was too busy trying to watch when Kyle’s limo bus was going to arrive.

It was a good ten minutes of me just waiting until a big black bus arrived on the curb infront of the house. I got so excited and decided to wait for about five minutes becasue I knew that Kyle was giving his brothers the chat about public parties Do’s and Don’ts. That is one of the reasons why I loved his personality so much was because he was respectful and a gentlemen. I always had great respect for him because ever since hurricane Katrina he had been providing for his single mother.

Kyle finally came running out of his bus with his brothers yelling “ Kappa Lambda Gamma” which was their fraternity. He saw me sitting on the step waiting for him to arrive and he immediatley ran to me. Once I had seen what he was doing I started to run to him. We meet in the middle and he engulfed me in his arms picking me up.

“I missed you so much baby.” Kyle said sounding out of breath. He placed me down, removing his head from the crook in my neck, he looked at me and oushed back my hair that had been messed up in this form of affection.

“I missed you so much too Kyle.” I said. He smiled and put his hand around the back of my neck and leaned in. His lips met mine and we started to make out in the middle of the lawn. It lasted a long time of just us letting our emotions out.

“What is that speech that you always tell your frat brothers? Isn’t public embarrasment apart of that? So wouldn’t kissing your girlfriend infront of everyone apart of that?” I ask jokingly.

“Shut up.”Kyle said laughing while putting his arm around my shoulders bringing me closer to his chest.

“I love you.” I said.

“I love you too.” He said kissing my cheek. He brought me to the couch and sat me down. “I am going to go get us some drinks okay.”

“Okay.” He leaned down and kissed my forehead. Once he left I looked towards the front door and I saw Madison Montegomery and I guess her friend. I was totally shocked that she came. I mean seriously a stupid frat college party? I thought that was too D-list for ‘celebrities. Again I didn’t mind that she was here. I just hope that her attitude doesn’t get the best of her.

Kyle soon comes back with two red cups and smiles at me.

“Here is a Coca-Cola for the lady.” He said and handed it to me while sitting next to me on the couch and putting his arm around me pulling me closer ot him.

“Why thank you.” I said to Kyle with a smile on my face,”Okay so you HAVE to tell me all about your football game please?” i said pouting in a begging form.

“Okay all right since you asked so politely. Well we obviously won. It was fourty-two to four and so we basically creamed them majorly.”

“Obviously,” I said but then Kyle was interrupted by the girl that entered in with Madison Montegomery approached us.

“Excuse me, I am so sorry to bother you but I can’t find my friend Madison Montegomery. I have looked everywhere and I can’t find her can you please help me?”

“Yes of course.” Kyle and I said.

“Let’s look upstairs to see if she might have accidentally found her way up here.” I said. We started to open up all the doors until we came to last on eand we opened it and found Madison and Kyle’s frat brothers. We looked around and realized that they were all takign turns raping Madison adn taking pictures even Kyles best friend Archie was in on it. Kyle was furious.

“WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING? GIVE ME THE PHONE ARCHIE!” Kyle screamed. I had never seen him so mad in our entire relationship.

“NO KYLE! I am not giving you my phone so you can just delete the videos and pictures.”Archie said. Kyle started to run after Archie trying to retrieve his phone so he could not only delete it but so that he could beat him up for doing this. The girl who asked for Kyle and I’s help started to wake Madison up so she could walk downstairs and leave. I started to run after Kyle. I got to the front door and I saw all of the frat brothers and Kyle running into the bus. Then it started to drive off so I ran after it.

Madison and her friend weren’t that far behind when all of a sudden the buss flipped over and crashed. I saw it all happen and I fell to my knees crying. Once I had gotten the courage to get up I ran over to the flipped over bus and pried open the doors. I looked around and I saw Kyle, lying there in pieces. I rushed over to him and brought his chest and head close to my body and kissed him, over and over again.

“NOOOO KYLE! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DIE?”I yelled. I brought my head closer to his ear and whispered.”Everything I wanted was you. I love you so much. Why did you have to leave me? We were supposed to grow old together. I love you.” i finally got up and started to get up and walk away. Once that I had left the bus there was blood all over me. I started to cry and I ran back to the frat house which was empty probably due to everyone hearing the crash, getting scared and running.

I closed the door and locked it. I collapsed to the floor crying knewing that I was never going to get my happy ending with Kyle. I went upstairs, took a shower and cried myself to sleep knowing that there was never going to be a day with Kyle or so I thought.

The Next Day

I woke up and decided to go visit Kyles mom to see how she was doing with the news about Kyle. I got dressed and drove over to his house that i had been over a million times. I knocked on the door and Mrs. Spencer opened the door with a tear stained face.

“Mrs. Spencer? It’s me (Y/N).” I said knowing that she would remember me as Kyles girlfriend.

“Oh yes (Y/N), please come in.” She opened the screen door and welcomed me into her house. After I had entered seh had engulfed me into in a hug and the waterworks started to fall from my face. I pulled away and Mrs. Spencer gave me a tissue and I whispered out a ‘Thank you.’

“I came to see how you were doing.” I said looking into her eyes and seeing that she was so upset. She should be she just lost her son.

“Thank you for doing that (Y/N). I really do appreciate it. I think out of all the girls Kyle has brought home, you have always and will forever be my favorite.”

“Thank you. I know how difficult it must be losing you only son espically since you husband passed away. I just wanted to let you know that I am here for you. If you need someone to talk to please just call me and I will be there.” I said letting her know that she won’t go through this alone.

“Thank you so much. It means a lot to know that even though Kyle isn’t here that you will continue to be apart of this familly and I am forever thankful for you. Anyways I have something to show you. Kyle had all this stuff that he had for you in a bag so I feel like I should give it to you, even though he won’t”

“Okay.” I followed her to Kyle’s room and she opened the doors to his closet and bent down to get the bag. It was a large paper bag filled high with stuff. She handed it to me and I carried it and sat down on his bed and started to unpack it. “I hope you don’t mind that I am unpacking it here.”

“Oh no! Please go ahead. I wanted to know what was always in there so I hope you don’t mind that I am watching you open it.”

“Of course not.” I started unpacking and while I was unpacking I realized that these were presents for our upcoming anniversary of three years. I took out the first thing and it was a scrapbook filled with pictures of me and Kyle and little love notes he wrote. I sat there crying knowing that this must have taken him months to put together and he never got a chance to give it to me. The second thing I took out was a shirt that said “Watch Out Boys This Girl Is Taken By This Guy” and it had a picture of Kyle winking on the back. I laughed remembering his funny humor. There was only one thing left and I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was a small red box. I took it out and started to cry knowing what it is. I opened the box and found a small diamond enagagment ring inside.

I showed it to Mrs. Spencer and she started to cry her eyes out.

“I always knew that was a question he was wondering about when he was going to ask. I guess he was going to ask on your three year anniversary.” she said. I put my hands over my eyes and cried even harder. I put the ring on my left finger in a way of saying yes to his question.

After that I bid Mrs. Spencer a goodbye and then walked out of the house. I was walking to my car that was a couple houses down. While I was walking I could have sworn that I saw that girl that Kyle and I helped from yesterday approach Mrs. Spencer’s house with her holding someone up. I ignored it knowing that it was just my mind playing tricks on me. I walked to my car and got in. I just sat for a long time looking at my engagement ring and crying. I eventually stopped and drove back to my frat house. I walked in and went upstairs to my room and locked the door.

A Couple Months Later

It has been a couple months since Kyle died and I couldn’t have felt more alone. Sometimes if I went out I would think that I would see him and the minute I blinked he was gone. Other than that I haven’t left my room. I miss him everyday. There is nothing that can replace him. I haven’t felt love, compassion, or happiness since he died. I wish he would come back.

Today I was forced to leave my room saying that I had a visitor at the door. I went downstairs and opened the door to find the girl that Kyle and I helped all those months ago.

“What do you want?” I ask with tears starting to fall from my eyes.

“I just want to show you something. Please come with me.” She said.

“Why should I go anywhere with you? I don’t even know your name!” I say

“Okay. My name is Zoe Benson.” Zoe said.

“You think just because you said that I am going to go with you?!” I said.

“Okay, fine! If you won’t come with me then just promise me that you will come to the cafe downtown. Please.” She begged.

“Alright I’ll be there. What time?” I asked.

“Just be there at noon. Okay?”

“Thank you.”

“Do I need to bring anything?” I asked.

“Just bring yourself.” She said.

“Okay. Bye.” I said. Zoe waved a goodbye back to me. I was so confused. Why out of all the people on Earth does she have to come back? I went upstairs and got dressed. I looked at the clock and saw that it was eleven fourty. I exited the house and went to the driveway to my car. I got in and started to drive downtown to the coffee shop. I looked for a parking space near where Zoe was standing. I got out of the car and locked it. I walked over to her.

“So why am I meeting you here?” I asked.

“You are meeting me here because I have a surprise for you inside.” Zoe said.

“If it’s a guy then I am not interested.” I said and then I walked in.

“I don’t think so. Well at least not with this guy.” She said. I walked around trying to find out what she was talking about. I finally understood when my eyes met his. The same dark brown I fell in love with. I ran over to him with tears coming down my face. I ran into his arms and he held me close. I pulled back my head and started to pepper his face in kisses. I finally ended with his lips. There was all of my emotions, his emotions intertwined into this form of affection. He let me down and pulled out my chair for me to sit down.

“Kyle! How are you back?” I asked with tears running down my face.

“(Y/N), I know you aren’t going to believe me when I say this but please do.” I nodded my head in response.”Okay well I died you saw me. Zoe and Madison went to the hospital and retrived my body parts and sewed me together. Another thing is that they are witches. There is a whole coven of them okay. So I was crazy and I couldn’t speak. I was a lot like Frankenstein. It was a long time before I could speak. But then their supreme Fiona Goode fixed me. She did something to me where i could speak properly. I guess you coudl say she brought me back to normal. So I remembered all about you. I had never forgotten about you, I just didn’t have all the details. But I called for you and then Zoe decided that it was best if I came back now and so I did. That is where that story ended.” He said looking into my eyes.

“I don’t care how you came to be here. I am just glad that you are here with me. Kyle, you’re all I have you’re all I want.” I said and he just looked at me emotionless and then he smiled and leaned over to kiss me on the lips.

I put my hand on his cheek and he stopped kissing me and looked at my hand.

“Oh sorry. I forgot that my hand is probably is cold. Sorry.” I said.

“No it isn’t that.” He pulled my left hand towards his and at my ring finger. “You said yes?”Kyle asked.

“Of course I did Kyle. I love you with all my heart. I want to spend the rest of my life with you unless you don’t want to anymore.” I said looking down.

“Hey,” Kyle said putting his fingers underneath my chin and lifting my head up so I looked at him in the eyes,”I want to start off where we left off. I want to be with you. I want to call you my wife. I love you.” He said.

“I love you too.” I said. I am so happy that Zoe brought him back. I couldn’t ask for anything better. After that Kyle and I started to plan for our wedding. It was perfect. Now we are living in total bliss and there isn’t anything I could ask for more. I love him and he loves me.

Part Two

“So, is there any off-screen romance?” The interviewer raised her eyebrows with a smile on her face.

You laughed a bit, but your co-star answered for you. “No, no, we’re just friends.” Tom smiled.

The interviewer smiled. “The Tumblr fandom really seems to like the idea of the two of you together,” She smiled.

“Trust me; I’ve seen it,” You chuckled.

“Me too, she’s on Tumblr- a lot.” Tom smiled, and you nudged his side, causing both of you to laugh even more.

The interviewer smiled and continued with the interview. Lately, for the press tour, you and Tom have done a lot of interviews together. Tom being the star, and you being the leading female for the new Spider-Man movie, it was obvious why you two did so many interviews together.

And no matter how many times you and Tom were asked about romance, it was always that you were friends. And it wasn’t a lie; you two didn’t really think about dating. It was your job as actors to be able to play the part like you were dating, but in reality, you actually weren’t.

I hear a contain sob that breaks my trance. My breathing is heavy and I can feel the intensity my face showcases after the flashback. Next to me Y/N won’t meet my eyes, rubbing a hand over her face. I feel guilty, she had no reason to hear that, she did not deserve to be haunted by my experiences. But then she does something surprising and squeezes next to me, pulling the blanket around us both.

“I think it worked.” she whispers, her voice still shaky, and I realize that I’m feeling much lighter now that I don’t have to bear that weight alone. “You should sleep now” I rest my head on her shoulder and the light feeling drags me into dream land while she gently runs a hand through my hair.

Before I completely drift off, I hear her mumbling something “So Aleksei had another victim” but I’m too far off now to understand anything.

Bucky’s POV:

I wake up to an unknown smell floating next to me. Before I open my eyes, I’m already conscious and fully alert, and my hand inches slowly towards the gun on my back pocket. The metal feels oddly warm after having absorbed my body heat throughout the night, but I grip it silently and in one swift move, press it against the temple of whoever was next to me, while I open my eyes.

Fear… Panic, is my greeting. The girl seems to be paralyzed. Damn, she’s not even breathing! Her skin is sick pale and her eyes are glittering. Oh, no… It’s…

“Y/N! I’m so sorry! I didn’t recognize you and you scared me! Fuck… I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you” I don’t know what to do with my body. I’m about to put the gun away, but the movement feels too relaxed; but I can’t keep pointing it at her either! I leave it on the table and raise my hands to prove that i’m not a threat, but Y/N seems to have entered the same trance she entered in the training room when I helped her with her boxing. Tears are about to escape her eyes and she hasn’t breathed for a solid minute. She backs away slowly through the sofa, until her back is pressed against the armrest. Fuck, how can I have messed up so badly? “Please, say something”

Saturday March 18th

My hubby left early before the boys were up, leaving me alone with them. I made pancakes and bacon for breakfast because they’re easy to make and men love them. I wore my pink sweat top and bottoms without a bra, I enjoyed catching the boys staring at my nipples pressed against the soft sweat material.

After breakfast, I made the boys clear the table and load the dishwasher while I wiped down the counters. Afterwards they went back into the Mediaroom to play games, I assumed, while I went to get dressed for a day with my son. Tennis shoes, jeans (butt looks good), and a simple top on I am dressed and ready. I went to the Mediaroom to find that the boys were not playing games but finishing a movie they had started last night. I made them scooch over and make room for me between them, a perfect place to be. The movie came to its climax with a racy love scene, I gently put my hands on the boy’s backs and tenderly scratched and rubbed in small circles. Unfortunately, the movie ended and it was time to take my son’s friend home.

As we were dropping off my son’s friend he said, “Thank you I had a great time, Ms. Linda.” To which I replied, “You are welcome anytime, I look forward to seeing more of you.” Then I kissed him softly on the cheek. I hope he jerks off thinking about me.

I took my son shopping and I allowed him to get 2 new video games as reward for letting me shop. After lunch out and some easy grocery shopping we returned home. He went to the Mediaroom with is new games and I put groceries away and did some house chores, the never-ending work of a mom. A few hours later, I started dinner, chicken fajitas his favorite, and grilled vegies. I made a simple margarita mix that I sipped while I grilled and offered one to him for dinner.

Dinner was quick and fairly quiet, afterwards our custom is to clean up kitchen and then shower, separately, and dress for an evening at home. Tonight I chose to wear a grey tank top, his favorite color, with a black lace bra and just panties, it sounds revealing, but the tank top is long. He unimaginatively dressed in his favorite tank top and basketball shorts, Spurs- his team. We returned to the Mediaroom and I brought in two margaritas not even asking if he wanted another. Then I asked him to show his new games, which he was very excited to do. As he showed me his characters and their powers and their weapons, etc, etc, etc…

As he talked I again started lightly scratching and rubbing his back in small circles. As excited as he was he didn’t even seem to notice my touch or the fact that he drained his margarita. I was tempted to refill it, but I didn’t want him out of control, I just wanted him relaxed. As he talked I moved my hand to his thigh still rubbing lightly. As my son demonstrated his gaming abilities my hand creeped slowly up his thigh towards his crotch. As my hand made the transition from thigh to crotch I found, to my delight, that he had noticed as he was already beginning to swell.

I continued rubbing and kneading his crotch, he continued playing games and swelling. Soon I was stroking the well-defined erection through his shorts. I took my left hand and gently but firmly pulled him back from a sitting up hunched position to a leaning back position on the couch, game controller firmly in his hands.

He played, I stroked his growing cock from the outside of his shorts until I couldn’t take it anymore and I slipped my hand beneath his waistband and inside his underwear. He was throbbing, swollen, and hard. I had trouble getting my small hand around it. I rubbed, stroked, and lightly scratched his erection and he just played his game, the look on his face was of joy and happiness, which pleased me deeply. I decided to continue and more. I pulled at his waistband and asked him to help me, without pausing his game he pulled down on the side opposite to me and his shorts went down to his knees exposing his swollen little soldier. He went back to being focused on his game, and I enjoyed looking at how big and grown my son had become as I continued to stoke him.

Unable to resist, not wanting to resist, I leaned forward and lowered my warm, wet mouth down on to the head of his cock. A deep sense of relief entered my soul as I began sucking and stroking my son’s cock. My son moaned and I realized how firm my grip was and how fast I was stroking him, I immediately slowed down and relaxed my grip because I didn’t want him to cum too soon.

Shifting off the couch onto my knees on the floor in front of him, my back to the TV screen, my left hand drifted to his balls and I began squeezing and pulling on them. As my right hand continued to stoke my son’s cock, my tongue swirled around the head teasing, looking for the sweet spot in the cleft. I don’t know how long I worked the shaft and head of his erection, but I noticed the game had become quiet and his controller was lying on the couch next to him where I had been sitting. Then there was a gentle, but firm and undeniable pressure on the back of my head as my son’s hands pushed me further down on his cock.

Knowing I couldn’t take all of him in, I’m not good at deep-throating, I brought my second hand up from his balls and added it to my right hand in stroking his shaft. I also increased my speed and the pressure of my grip, he responded immediately by beginning to thrust his hips in time with my strokes. He was going to cum soon, in my mouth and I was going to swallow it all like last time. I stiffened and flattened my tongue concentrating on the head especially the little cleft on the underside, the sweet spot. As before my son grunted and arched his back as he came, but this time he also held my head firmly in place as he shot his hot, steamy load down my throat slightly gagging me.

I was in heaven.

The moment passed and he was breathing rapidly, he attempted to stand pulling his shorts up, wanting to leave, embarrassed I assume by what is happening between us, my advances on him.

I said, “No please stay.” Like a good son, he sat back down. I continued to suck and lick at his “meaty goodness” just relishing the fact that we had made it to this point. When I finished and stood up, he stood up and left the room like last time. So at barely 10pm our evening was done. I didn’t see him again until the next morning.

Here's Why Moana and/or Kubo and the Two Strings Should Have Won

Tonight, Zootopia has won Best Animated Feature. First off, let me say my thoughts on Zootopia. I really liked it when it came out. And I still do! I thought it had great characters, humor, animation and some good commentary on racism today. It deserved its nomination but I personally don’t think it was the Best Animated Feature. I think it should have gone to either two films (I could not pick both as they are both dear to my heart), Moana and Kubo and the Two Strings. I’ll start with Kubo first.
This movie was something that blew me away when I first watched it. The animation was incredible with so much hard work and detail that went into it- the animators behind this animation deserve awards for it alone. The characters, story and emotions were all portrayed flawlessly. By the time the movie was over, I was still feeling the emotional resonance of the film’s ending.
Now, I understand that a lot of people were upset over casting white actors and actresses in the main roles. And I understand and get why people are mad over that. However, not to hate on Zootopia (I really like the movie, don’t get me wrong on that), but the movie’s main theme was about racism and that’s a good theme and it was portrayed in a very good way. However, the main cast is still mostly white, with even the people of color still only having supporting roles. Even the voice actor behind Nick Wilde- a character supposed to represent people of color- is white. Yet everyone only points fingers at Kubo. And since they have great voice performances in Kubo, I believe that there’s a good chance that they were cast because of their voices. So I don’t think we should let the cast foreshadow the awesomeness of Kubo.
Now, on to Moana. I saw this movie on one of its first Tuesday screenings and I was very excited to see this. I’ve been looking forward to seeing it the moment Disney announce they were doing this movie. After I saw Moana, it became one of my favorite Disney movies. While the movie does follow the Disney formula that has been current in most of their recent films, the way the story is done is what makes it work. The performances of the characters are all amazing- especially those of Dwayne Johnson and Auli'i Cravalho. I really like the fact that Disney found someone new and someone who really sounded like a real teenager for Moana. Auli'i’s voice is what helped make Moana the amazing character she was in the movie. Dwayne also did an awesome job as Maui and his song in the movie had to have been one of my favorite songs. And speaking of the songs, the music in this movie was FANTASTIC. There was never one song that I thought was just ok. Every song was either fun, epic, inspiring, entertaining or both! The way Polynesian culture was represented was also so amazing and wonderful to see on the big screen! Disney really did a good job giving this beautiful culture the representation it deserved. I also have to mention the character of the movie’s lead- Moana herself. Moana herself earns the title of this movie. She has to be the Disney Princess Heroine that I have most connected with. She truly felt real and while she may not have succeeded everytime in the movie, she grew past that and was able to truly be the hero in the end.
The strengths of these two movies are what make me believe that these movies both deserve recognition. Zootopia is a great movie but we have to make way for ALL wonderful and talented movies to shine. Kubo and Moana deserve to be shown to many and I strongly encourage all of you to support both of these awesome movies!
