this movie is off to a great start!!!!

I just recently started watching Great British Bake Off (I’m American) and the main difference between it and American reality cooking shows is that it’s so calm??? Like there’s still stress but on American shows it’s constant running, action movie music, and THE BIGGEST CHALLENGE YET it’s like a fucking circus. Meanwhile on Bake Off, cheery, frolicking through the woods music and hosts that are actually nice?????

Things I really loved about Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 in earnest

Spoilers!!!!!

1. Yondu’s “I’m Mary Poppins y'all!” after Peter says he’s cool. Because yes, it’s a hilarious line, but it’s also such a DAD thing. Like, who can’t say that their dad wouldn’t be so proud to be considered cool by their son and it’s so unexpectedly sweet because of it.

2. The fact that Baby Groot cries like an actual baby once. Because it’s like it’s stabbing you in the heart, but it’s so effective because you really forget that he really is a baby with all the things he can do until then, and that brings you right back.

3. The symmetry in Yondu’s redemption. Yondu is damned because he brings Ego’s children to Ego and his planet to be sacrificed, and he’s redeemed by sacrificing himself to save Ego’s child (who really is HIS child) and bring him away from Ego’s planet.

4. Drax’s interaction with Mantis, especially him holding her while he drowns in Ego’s planet. Because Drax is like this big murderous comic relief character, but his screen time with Mantis was this lovely way to remind the audience that Drax has this soft side and this tragic past without shoving it in your face. Drax might laugh at your pain, but he’d also try to save you even as he was drowning, and it’s a perfect way to frame his character.

5. Ego’s “For the first time, I am truly not ALONE!” and his alieness in general. Because don’t get me wrong, Ego is absolutely a non redeemable wonky bonkers genocidal jerk off, but he’s got this great alien quality to him that I feel this series really needed. It’s not in how he looks, but his motives and how he acts. Ego is a millennia old being; a god in a world of mortals. His view point of the world and his actions are so very true to that idea that we almost can’t relate because no one can imagine what it must be like to be that old or that powerful. But when he yells that one line out, we really get it. Ego, for all his power, is just like us; he just doesn’t want to be alone. Coupled with his god like alien superiority, his ego - get it? ;) - he sees the expansion as the way to answer that feeling. If everything is him, after all, then he can’t be alone, see? What makes him a great villain is that he actually had the real answer all along - love, family - but he chose to destroy it because he felt it was beneath him; because of his subconscious disgust at his own desire to be “just like the rest of them.”

6. Nebula’s “You wanted to win and I just wanted a sister!” And how it turns the tables on how we view her relationship with Gamora. Because Nebula is clearly set up to be the ‘bad sister’ to Gamora’s ‘good sister’ and that one line really throws that on its head and shows that neither one of them are good or bad. I also love how it’s Gamora that ends up apologizing to Nebula, after everything, and Gamora who finally returns Nebula’s offer of sisterhood after all of those years.

7. “You shouldn’t have killed my mom and squished my Walkman!” Like, this line right here; the essence of Peter Quill in 10 words. Perfection.

8. The batteries as they relate to the parallel of Yondu’s and Rocket. Because them as a parallel is basically smashed over our heads, but I liked the subtle batteries parallel in that Rocket steals batteries he doesn’t need and Yondu steals Peter, who is used as a battery by Ego. It’s just a little thing but I found it really neat.

9. Rocket’s “I can only afford to lose one friend today,” line and how although it’s clearly framed to be about Peter, it’s also possibly about Yondu. Because no matter what, Rocket is losing a friend and it’s a great line to add to his character development from a guy who started trying to push his friends away to a guy who can’t lose them.

10. The contrast between how Peter reacts to the death of Ego and Yondu. He holds both as they die but he’s just silent and unaffected by Ego and he’s distraught and trying desperately to save Yondu, trying to pull off the suit to give to Yondu and save him instead. Can you say tears?

11. Don’t even talk to me about the Ravager funeral.

12. That the movie really was truly about family. Drax and his family and Mantis, Gamora and Nebula, Rocket and the Guardians, everyone parenting Groot and Peter realizing that the dad he’d wanted all along was actually the one he’d had. Often these superhero movies pull the “we’re family” card and it doesn’t feel earned, but man it does in this one. This movie is like Marvel’s “The Fast and The Furious IN SPACE” and it’s just great.

inspired by this video (sfw, but a sex toy is being used as car repair, so take that as you will)

“Laura’s gonna flip,” Derek says in dismay, looking at the huge dent in the driver’s side door of the Camaro. Her most precious possession, the car she’d been saving up for forever, the car she waxes and washes every weekend, the car that she let Derek borrow to go to the Mathletes competition in San Francisco because Derek had a basketball game on Friday and couldn’t make the official school bus, the car that Laura made him swear his life on, is now forever ruined.

“Damn, if there ever was a good place to curse, that would have been it,” Stiles says, crossing his arms and looking far more attractive than he had the right to. “C’mon, Derek. Just say it. Fuck.”

Derek blushes, watching the word tumble out of Stiles’ pink mouth. “No, I… there’s gotta be a way to fix it. But if I call her insurance people she’s gonna know…”

“It’s totally my fault,” Stiles says. “I was the one who wanted to go to Tastee Freeze on the way back, and let some dingbat hit you in the parking lot. Actually, it’s their fault, whoever can’t drive.”

Derek shakes his head. It’s his fault. He’d been having too much fun this weekend; he’d spent practically all of it with Stiles. He’d had a crush on him forever— in fact, joined Mathletes at his request, and the whole year of practice, of spending afternoons with Stiles poring over math problems, watching Stiles lick Cheeto dust off his fingers— it’s been too much. Coupled with the fact that Stiles actually just plain forgot to catch the bus on Friday, and then caught a ride with Derek, meant hours in the car listening to him sing along to Hamilton and muddle through the rap bits, and sleeping next to him in the four-to-a-room motel Saturday night, and waking up with Stiles’ face smashed into his shoulder.

Derek had been too overwhelmed by it all, too overwhelmed by Stiles. Getting the chance to spend time with his friend this weekend had just intensified his feelings, and he knows there’s no chance that Stiles will ever feel the same, so he’s just drinking it all in, savoring these moments when he can.

It had been a terrible parking job, the Camaro was at a weird angle, that’s why the person rounding the turn had hit him. Derek sighs. He guesses it’s for the best. He’ll just have to pay Laura back. For forever.

Stiles is studying the door, eyes narrowed in concentration. “Actually, it’s not that bad. They didn’t even scratch it. It’s just a dent. With the right amount of leverage…”

“I’m sorry, do you happen to have a magical car-door fixer in your overnight bag?”

Somehow, this causes Stiles to turn bright red. “Okay. I have an idea. But you have to promise not to laugh.”

“Okay…?”

Derek watches, perplexed, as Stiles pulls his duffle bag out of the back seat, and then rummages around in it.

“Promise not to laugh,” Stiles repeats.

“I promise.” Derek is confused, but sincere.

Stiles pulls a bright blue dildo out of the bag. It’s springy, and jiggles a little with the movement. There’s a thick vein running along the side, and the base even has… balls.

Derek’s brain short circuits, an image of Stiles, naked, working himself on the girth of the toy, his mouth open, panting, as he tries to get the right angle, skin flushed pink from pleasure…

“Fuck,” Derek says.

Genre: Smut, Angst (oh boy), fluff

Pairing: You x Jungkook

Word count: 5k

Warnings: Smut, mentions of drinking

You’ve had so many dirty dreams about Jungkook already. So many dreams that felt so real. That’s why when you reached over and touched his arm, you almost fell off of the bed.

You jumped up, dragging the sheet with you to wrap around your very naked body. It was as if he was a complete stranger you woke up next to by the way you backed up and away from the bed. It was worse than that.

It was your best friend.

lol I never get how people are confused as to why the potc movies keep getting worse… it’s cuz they made it about jack. Like, each movie (in the trilogy) starts with Elizabeth. And ends with either her or will (and a scene of jack sailing off into a sunset) like it was HER story and yet apparently they thought the only thing you need to make the movies great was jack??? Please

MASTERLIST

You calmly strutted through the laughter-filled halls of Midtown High School with your textbooks clutched against your chest, sparing a genuine smile to the students who waved in your direction. According to the teachers and students throughout Midtown High School, you were considered to be an intelligent and well-respected student. You had grades above an A in every class and did not mind tutoring another student. You were also well-known throughout the school due to your spot on the school’s swimming team. Being properly raised by your parents, you’d grown to be very lady-like, calm, generous, and warmhearted. You enjoyed brightening up a person’s day and helping a person in need. Doing kind gestures would make your heart flutter in happiness and satisfaction. You cared so much about helping others that sometimes you would even forget to help yourself.

Shortly, you arrived at your locker and dialed the combination of the lock. Unlocking it, the first thing you saw was an old photo taped on the locker door—you smiled at the sight of it. The photo was of you and your best friend, Peter Parker. Your head rested on his shoulder, smiles displayed on the both of your features. The memorable photo was taken a few years ago. When his parents died, Aunt May and Uncle Ben had became his surrogate parents and took him in. When you found out about his parents’ death, you refused to leave his side. You two had been inseparable ever since. Even through the toughest times, Peter was always there for you as you were always there for him. It’s you and Peter against the world—together, you were invincible

Most of the times, when you were over at Peter’s house, you two would just do homework, have deep conversations, or watch movies and cuddle next to each other wrapped in blankets. Aunt May would walk in to catch you two sleeping the night away together—cherishing the adorable sight by sneaking a quick picture. Aunt May and Uncle Ben were convinced that you and Peter were destined to be best friends, or even more, since the very start when you two had met in elementary school.

Jumping heart to heart, and it’s starting to wear me down
“He’s a total dick” is my reputation around town

“Alright, I’ll see you around babe.” Monty winked at the blonde. He couldn’t even recall her name. But there he was, leading her on, making her think there was something between them. She was simply a good fuck, a girl he hooked up with last night.

“I’ll see you around babe,” A voice mocked from behind. Monty turned around and found a snickering Bryce. “Damn Monty, who was that?”

“Hey man,” He scratched the back of his neck. “I don’t even remember her name.”

“You’re a fucking playboy. That’s what you are!” Bryce howled, giving him a pat on the back.

They got a pretty face, but they got a pretty empty head
And I want to stick around but damn I’m bored

Monty was currently on a date with the blonde from last week. He asked her out just so he could get out of the house during the weekend. Although deep inside, he was hoping that maybe, just maybe, his brain would flip a switch and view her as more than a something he could play with. Love perhaps. Monty was human; all he wanted was to find love like everyone else.

“What do you think, Monty?” The blonde asked.

He quickly snapped out of his thoughts. “Um no?” He answered, not even having the slightest clue of what she was talking about.

“You’re not even listening to me! I asked if you preferred pizza or salad.” She huffed in irritation. He shrugged in response, obviously not having a care in the world.

“I’m getting out of here. Call me when you actually want to listen to me.” She stood up from the booth and sashayed away. He sighed and leaned back on his seat.

He made up his mind. He definitely did not like her. Sure, she was drop dead gorgeous and her attitude was somewhat tolerable but it just wasn’t working out for him.

Monty looked around the place and spotted a girl. He identified her as Y/N Y/L/N; he knew she went to Liberty High as well. He watched her carefully, she seemed to be enjoying her meal, shoveling curly fries into her mouth and he weirdly found that cute. Then and there, the switch he oh-so-wanted to flip… actually flipped. He was inexplicably drawn to her.

“Here goes nothing.” He mumbled to himself and before heading over to her table.

How the hell do you stay in love
You’re at dinner looking down playing with your knife and fork

Friday was date night for Y/N and Monty. She felt like their relationship lacked something lately so she wanted it to be perfect, already planning it a week before. She was going to cook his favorite meal and then catch a movie at The Crestmont after.

An hour passed and there was still no sign of him. Y/N sighed in frustration. The food was getting cold and they were already twenty minutes late to the movie. She grabbed her phone from the counter and sent him a quick text.

where are you? you said you’d be here at 6

No response.

Just as she was about to press call, Monty walked through the door.

“Hey babe,” He walked over to her giving her a peck on the cheek. “The food looks great.”

Y/N glared daggers at him. “Where were you? I was starting to get worried!”

“Relax. I was with Justin and Zach. We went to grab some beers after school.” He responded nonchalantly.

Anger coursed through her veins. “You blew me off for them? We had plans, de la Cruz.” She detached herself from his grip and headed for the door.

Another day, another argument. He was sick of it. “You’re always breathing down my neck, Y/N!” Monty bellowed from behind her.

Arguments weren’t new to their relationship. Y/N and Monty would argue every once in a while but recently it became more frequent. He complained on how she bitched about his actions all the time and how he felt like he wasn’t doing anything right. In her defense, she was just looking out for him. She didn’t want him to get hurt. More importantly, she was afraid of him going back to his old ways.

She stopped in her tracks and faced him. “Since when is it such a crime to look out for my boyfriend?”

“You call that looking out for me?” He gave her a sharp look and chuckled angrily. “It’s called being a-”

“Listen Monty,” She cut him off, voice stern. “I don’t want to hear it.” He opened his mouth to say something but shut it just as fast.

Y/N stared at the floor as minutes of agonizing silence passed. She could feel the heavy tension and she hated it. She couldn’t help but think this was going to be the end of their relationship. The thought of that possibility made her physically sick. She couldn’t lose him. She loved this boy with her all, she couldn’t give him up just like that.

Monty tugged at the ends of his hair and sighed. “I don’t want this anymore, Y/N. I want to be alone.“

Y/N felt like everything was crashing down on her. She swallowed hard, trying to hold back the tears that were threatening to spill. “Fine,” She seethed. “Just leave.”

You think you wanna be alone
Just wait until you’re crying on the shower floor
It hits you in the chest, ‘bout every day you’re done
Cause once you let it go you better know its gone

Monty tried to contact Y/N at least a few times after that night. She didn’t bother returning any of his calls or texts. He tried talking to her at school but she did a good job at avoiding him. She was absolutely dejected and she hated it. She hated how broken she was.

“Y/N, wait up!” Zach jogged over, stopping in front of her.

She bit her lip in unease. “This better be important. I’m almost late for class.”

“Well, uh listen, you gotta talk to Monty,” She scoffed at his words before letting him continue. “You guys need to sort this out. He hasn’t been doing well lately.”

She snapped at the mention of Monty. “And you think I am? Sorry to be rude but I see that this conversation isn’t important. I should get going.” She stormed away leaving Zach dumbfounded.

Just like Y/N, Monty was drowning in the ocean of heartbreak and regret. He felt broken too. He was always over at Bryce’s, getting drunk and wallowing in sadness. When he threw those last words at her that night, he immediately regretted it. All the anger and pain from their arguments the past few days, got to him and he took it out on her. It was all in the heat of the moment. He didn’t just want her back, he needed her back, but he knew that was near to impossible.

It’s never the same, uh, yeah, after the breakup
It’s never the same, love, don’t try to make up

Monty stepped out of the car and headed towards the front door of Y/N’s house. It’s been almost three weeks since their break up and Y/N finally agreed to his request of talking things out.

To say he was nervous was an understatement. He ran his hands through his hair, trying to calm himself down before ringing the doorbell. A few seconds passed before the door opened, revealing Y/N. He stared at her in awe. She looked better than ever, its almost as if his absence hadn’t affected her. In fact, she looked happier.

“You can, uh, come in.” She mumbled awkwardly before opening the door fully, letting him in.

He took a seat on the end of the couch and Y/N walked over and sat on the other end, she wanted to be as far away as possible from him.

“Y/N,” He looked at her, sincerity evident in his eyes. “I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have yelled at you like that. I shouldn’t have blown you off for Justin and Zach when it was our special day. For fuck’s sake, what was I thinking? I would pick my girlfriend over anything else. I should have been there. I’m sorry for ignoring all your effort and making you feel unimportant. I was so insensitive to your feelings. Y/N, letting you go was my biggest mistake. Please let me make it up to you, take me back.

“Ex girlfriend,” She corrected rather harshly. She closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose before speaking again. “I had a lot of time to think about us and honestly, Monty, you’re right. I don’t think this will work out. Plus, I’m not gonna allow myself to be treated like shit again.” He could feel his heart shatter as she spoke.

She took a deep breath. “I’m sorry but I think breaking up is for the best.” He simply nodded at her, too upset to come up with a response.

They stood at the doorway, saying their goodbyes. He looked at her for the last time and in that moment, it dawned upon him, that he, Montgomery de la Cruz had lost the girl he loved for good.

Getting caught - Mark Lee

A/N: Don’t worry!!!! This isn’t smut, it’s getting caught cuddling and kissing mark at the dorms. :)

! also gif credits to @neotechs !

  • okkkkkay! I’m back with another writing!!!
  • this time with mark lee!!
  • let’s start with bf! Mark Lee :)
  • So you and Mark have been dating for a couple of months now
  • and you’ve been to the dorms dozens of time
  • you never wanted Mark to waste his few days off going on dates
  • you, just like his fans, often just wanted him to rest at home comfortably
  • so when ever he had down time to spend at the dorms he would invite you over
  • you’d excitedly always accepted his invitation
  • this time when Mark invited you
  • it had been raining all day
  • to which you thought it was perfect weather to cuddle up next to your boyfriend Mark
  • so when Mark texted you asking what you had wanted to do when you arrived
  • you told him how you just wanted to watch a movie and cuddle him to death
  • to which Mark replied that he’ll be waiting for your cuddle with the perfect movie to watch
  • when you arrived at the dorm, you quickly greeted the other members before heading off, with Mark, to his room
  • as soon as you two entered the room
  • you were both in each others tight embrace
  • giving quick kisses to each other
  • all while taking turns to give sweet compliments
  • soon you two make your way to his bed and start the movie
  • Mark’s choice in the movie was great but you two were more focused on each other than anything else
  • often talking over the movie about each other’s busy days that you guys spent separately
  • suddenly Mark spoke up
  • “y/n~, we’re not even watching the movie”
  • “ okay, okay! we can watch the movie now” you replied, giggling a bit because you knew how hard Mark must’ve tried to pick the perfect movie for you two to watch tonight.
  • just then you laid your head on his chest and began to watch the rest of the movie
  • or at least tried to!
  • you found it hard to focus on the movie when Mark was looking extra cute today
  • and Mark took notice at you noticing him
  • he couldn’t help but smile brightly at you
  • before he could say anything you decided to attack his cute face with kisses
  • as you two were busy kissing and giggling at each other you heard someone clear their throat
  • you both looked up and saw Jaehyun standing by the door
  • you two quickly became a blushing mess
  • Mark also quickly straighten himself up, smiling and not breaking eye contact with Jaehyun
  • all Jaehyun could do was chuckle and tell you two to quiet down a bit
  • once he left you two quickly looked at each other and laughed
  • and returned to movie without another peep out of the both of you
“Being Fuckable does not mean being date-ble.” [Dylan O’brien] Pt. 2

2,400 words!!

It’s been so long and I’d like to apologize for being so late on this. I wish I could say what’s been going on in my personal life but I can’t, guys. But it’s finally here!! Feel free to re-read part one to refresh your memory a bit if you want: Part 1

sorry if there’s any errors.

~~

My eyes felt the sensation of the sun as I tried to adjust to the lighting. Something was particularly different this morning.

For one, my back was pressed against a muscular figure as arms were around my waist holding me tightly. At first, I was about to freak out, but then I realized the familiar surroundings of the room.

It was Dylan’s room.

A moment of relief hit me but quickly washed away when my mind focused on his arms around me again. His body started to shift hinting at me that he was waking up.

Quickly, I closed my eyes again to avoid any awkward event that might take place if both of us were awake at the same time in the current position.

As my eyelids remained shut, I felt him lift his head up to check my side of the bed. I began to feel his stare boring into me because of the shadow covering the light, but I stayed the same.

His head started to go back to the position he was in as I started to wonder what the hell was he thinking.

At first I thought he would get up or get away from my touch, but my doubts soon disappeared as I felt his hands tightening my stomach more, pulling me closer.

My mouth slightly opened causing me to form a slight smile. Dylan never accidentally spooned someone. In fact, he never moved in his sleep, well not that I knew off.

He always said he needed his side of the bed all to him because touches caused him to get too hot at night.

I came to the conclusion that he chose to bring me to his arms, there was no other explanation, and the fact that he pulled me close proved my theory. This was new, and it made me feel warm inside. I wasn’t questioning anything.

“Dylan,” I spoke, afraid that if he knew I had awoken he would stop doing what he was doing. Curiosity was killing me though.

“Mmm?” Was all he responded, as if everything he was doing was a normal thing to do to your best friend.

“What time is it?”

“8:23 Why?” I could feel his breathing in the back of my neck as chills quickly went down my spine.

His mouth, it was so close to my shoulder. It was amazing.

I wanted to see his expression at the moment so I decided to face his direction. His arms were no longer wrapped around my stomach even if I wish they still were. “I have to go to my classes later.”

“But it’s barely eight in the morning.” A slight pout formed in his lips, very adorable, yet his eyes were still in a sleep-like state as he opened them briefly in moments.

“Dylan, you know how long I take when I get ready even If I don’t intend to, plus I still have to drive to my house, take a shower, make myself breakfast, FEED my dog and you-” I went on and on as he decided to stop me.

His hands snaked around my waist yet again, pulling me close just as I was they were a minute before. This time, his lips were only an inch away from me as my nerves started to kick in. His eyes were now set fully on me as his pupils dilated.

“5 more minutes.” He closed his eyes again. His voice was dominant and way more confident than I have ever seen him.

It only made me wonder why he was acting so touchy. Why wasn’t he mad anymore? It soon started to eat at me at what I might of done the night before. Did my drunk self do anything stupid?

Of course I know we didn’t hook up, I was still in my dress and he was fully clothed as well. Dylan had too much respect in him.

“I have to go. My head hurts and you ran out of aspirin.” I made the excuse acting as if I wasn’t just leaving to recollect my thoughts from last night.

His head shot up as soon as I got away from his touch. “Yeah, um okay.” I heard as I left him there to sleep alone. As much as I wanted the sensation to last, I had to figure out what was going on.

Translation for; I was going to avoid it all day, get my errands done, then go over to ask Dylan in a nonchalant way on our movie night marathon later.

Dylan’s POV.

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. (Y/N) reciprocated what I felt for her. She had it all wrong. Everything.

She completely misunderstood my actions. I see her as the girl I want to do things with but only if we’re in love. The thought of us just having a one night stand and leaving it at just that made my heart ache, I’m so in love with her I can’t believe she never noticed.

I got pissed off when she said I was just Fuck-able actually. It felt like rejection without the confession before-hand.

Oh god, I wanted my hands all over her so bad today, I kept covering the front of my pants so she couldn’t see what was fuming inside. She made me the craziest how could she ever think I don’t find her desirable?”

Hell, my sexual dreams have always been about her.

I carried her all the way to my room, where she usually sleeps when she gets wasted. She let out low breaths which made me come to the conclusion that she was very much asleep.

Her eyes started to shift as I positioned her in my bed.

“No, don’t let me go.” She murmured as she felt the bed beneath her. I felt her hand grab me and start pulling me down, of course I was staying there.

The rest of the night was bliss.

My mind flash forward back to the present.

She definitely didn’t remember before. Was it the drunk talking?

Oh god.

I shouldn’t of done that in the morning.

Your POV.

“Dylan?” I called out as unlocked his door with the key he places for me in case he’s occupied.

“Dylan where are you?”

“Hold on I’m drying off.”

He just took a shower, he’s going to smell so good what the fuck, this timing? I decided to head over to his kitchen and start taking out the snacks we eat on movie nights.

Diabetes written all over them yes.

I heard foot steps approaching and felt myself getting more anxious by the second. Would he be able to tell this annoying emotion I carry? hopefully not.

“Hey so I picked the movies already.”

Silence.

When he noticed I didn’t respond he spoke again, “Y/N?”

“What?” I paused, “Oh yeah, great. Now we just have to-” I turned around and there was Dylan with his regular clothes except this time, he was shirtless.

My sleep wear consisted of pj shorts and a tank top. The usual. He noticed my staring so he decided his eyes were going to roam on me too. He smirked and I felt another episode of tease jokes coming,

“-Uh to get drinks.” I forced myself to finish the sentence even though all I wanted to do was stare at his body for longer than two seconds.

He stared at me with a poker face and it annoyed me because I couldn’t tell what he was thinking at all. “Okay, let’s go watch the movies.” He laughed.

Unusual? I was so sure his jokes were coming.

Two Hours later, it was back to the regular interactions we always have had. I didn’t even bother asking what I did when I drank even if it was aching at the back of my head.

The first movie finished and he decided he needed to go to the restroom as I just needed more chips.

After two minutes,

I felt Dylan’s presence once again behind me even if I didn’t know how close he’d really be. “Okay what’s the next movie-” Our chests collided and my mind went blank.

Soon enough, I laughed it off but he remained serious. “Y/N?”

“Yes?” I answered as we were still in a close position with our lips just inches from touching each other.

Don’t look at his lips. Don’t look at his lips. Don’t look at his lips.

“You should really put on a shirt.”

He ignored me as he continued, “Do you believe that myth that states that children and drunk people always tell the truth?”

“Nope. That’s why it’s called a myth.” I felt myself getting anxious.

“Why..did- did I say something to you? I did didn’t I? I said something stupid now you’re going to throw it in my face. Out with it..” I started freaking out before I could even process or think what could be so dumb that could slip my mind.

He rolled his eyes. “Do you really want to know what you said?” He kept getting closer as I backed away as far as I could every step he took. Once I reached the corner of the counter i knew I was trapped.

His muscles out in the open weren’t helping my case either.

“I think I heard my phone ring in my room.” I said excusing myself with that lame white lie, The tension back there was going to make me crack.

“You’re phone is on the couch.”

He stood there in the doorway smirking. I paused in panic not knowing what to do.

“Where was I?“

“You sound like a serial killer stop.” I joked.

“Last night, you said you wanted me to throw you into a bed,” He came closer, moved my body down until I landed on the bed.

“You wanted me to be on top of you.” He crawled until his face was close to mine again.

“And then,” He kept going as I mentally chocked.

“A- And then what?” His lips were the center of my attention. He stayed hovering over me, causing me to scream on the inside. I was getting caught up in his teasing, but I was too tired of fighting it.

“Curious aren’t we?” Rasing an eyebrow, he kept staring back and forth at my lips and eyes. There we go with the serial killer voice.

“I’m curious on how far you’re willing to go with this lie.”

“The answer is, very far.”

“Wha-”

Before I could finish the sentence his lips were pinned against mine. It took a few seconds for me to process what was going on, after I caught on, I decided to grab him and pull him closer.

His lips felt exactly like I imagined, my stomach started to spin, and my needs were intensified.

What I must’ve said must of been pretty smooth or something, surprisingly, nothing was weird it felt like something normal between us. It felt like it was suppose to happen right in that moment.

We broke apart trying to catch our breaths. I looked at him in a shocked, speechless, expression.

He just keep gazing, his lips slowly formed into the cutest smile that I had no idea what was for. The air suddenly felt warm and the vibe was intimate. From the looks of it, Dylan could feel it too.

“I didn’t really say that did I?”

“No.” He smiled. His smile was too happy that it made me wonder what I really said to him.

“Then what was i-”

“You’re in love with me.” His eyes narrowed down as he grinned to himself.

“What?! N-No I’m n-”His lips once again shut me up. I didn’t know where I was even going with this, because my confession caused him to kiss me in the first place which is a good sign?

I pushed myself into him wanting to taste his lips again and again.

“You tricked me!” He didn’t even let me speak longer he just kept kissing me over and over. My breathing became irregular as I felt his hand slowly enter the inside of my skirt.

His breathing felt hot against my neck, once his hands gained access to the inside of my underwear, he wasted no time. His fingers were shoved right into me. “Already wet babe?”

“I want your tongue on my clit.”

“You’re so impatient.” His kisses kept trailing down my body.

“Get the job done, bust the nut faster.” We we’re best friends. Who’s to say my savage way of speaking didn’t also come in the bedroom.

“I hate you I really do.” I laughed as he bit his lip and finally got to his destination.

“Yeah oka-fuuck!” I moaned as his mouth finally made contact with my clit.

“BEAST.” I said not being able to get caught up on my breathing. His chuckling wasn’t making this better.

I closed my eyes (as if that was a choice with the pace he was going.) fully taking it all in.

“Right fucking there.”

“Dylan why the fuck,” moaning, “-have we not done this sooner?”

Once he finished getting me off,

“Your reading cock-blocked me.”

“touché”.

His sloppy kisses made their way back to my neck. “I’m going to fuck you to make up for all of the times I couldn’t.”

“It’ll show.”

His dick quickly inserted in me causing my mouth to shockingly open. “YOU BIG FUCKER- DYLAN.”

He begin to grind against me as my moans began to get out of control. He groaned caressing my cheek.

“Close my mouth with your hands, it’s my all time kink.”

“But I like your moans.”

I softly screeched as his movements began to get faster. “And I like looking at your hairy arms as you fuck m-” His hand shut me up as his muscles came more into view while my moans were silenced.

He was getting to the climax as I felt him tense up. “Fuck.” We moved faster in sync until he finally released.

“Oh my god.” His huge sigh of satisfaction was so sexy I couldn’t breathe. Slowly, he removed himself from me as his lips met mine once again.

“I’m so in love with you.”

He said, as he now was the one drifting into sleep.

I needed some evidence for a lot of head canons, but when you said Megamind was not entirely male I only remembered one of my favorite scenes in the movie: Megamind walks totally overdressed into Titan’s apartment and scolds him for letting him wait with sentences and gestures you would expect from a girlfriend or mother. And I thought: Yeah, seems canon.

Megamind definitely moves, speaks, and dresses in ‘feminine’ ways, yes!

Queercoding (like coding for neurodivergency) is a big thing with classic villains; the great thing about Megamind is that the creators kept the queercoding and the neurodivergent coding and let him be the hero.

The depressed, eyeliner-and-heels-wearing, feminine-gesturing, overdramatic, queer-coded hero

It’s one of the main reasons I find him so relatable and so compelling. (I think this might be true of a lot of the fandom; we tend to shade queer and neurodivergent, in general, identity-wise)

See, I’m so used to only seeing myself in villains–and! this movie starts off like that: ah yes, there I am; the villain as usual…

BUT NO

NO

NO.

The entire point of the movie is YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE THE VILLAIN ANYMORE.

This film gave me something that I have always, always wanted, and I am really continually amazed at it.

Let me start off by mentioning how much this movie means to me. I’ve kind of made my niche on the internet by dreamcasting Disney movies as if they were live action. I’ve made a ridiculous number of edits, I mean I’ve spent hours, days, probably weeks on this stuff at this point, and many of these edits have been focused on Beauty and the Beast. Live action versions of Disney movies are like… my Thing. And, to be totally honest, this really is only the second faithful adaptation. Alice in Wonderland was a total reworking of the Alice story, not really a cartoon-to-live-action like this. Maleficent completely retold the story from a different angle by making one Disney’s most vicious villains not only sympathetic but good. Cinderella is so close (and so good, I might add) but visually it’s vastly different from its animated counterpart, especially when it comes to Lady Tremaine and the Fairy Godmother, and it’s not a musical. The Jungle Book is the closest we’ve seen to a real and true “live action remake” as opposed to a live action reinterpretation. But here we are. Disney did it. They took one of their most beloved animated classics and straight-up made it into a live action movie without cutting any songs or really very much at all…

And oh boy, did they knock it out of the park.

I love this movie. This is what I’ve been waiting for.

I love Emma Watson as Belle. I think she’s a wonderful choice, I completely buy into her as Belle. She’s beautiful and intelligent and spunky. Her singing is fine. She’s not Kristin Chenoweth or Sutton Foster, but Belle doesn’t need to be. She’s also not Meryl Streep or Daniel Day-Lewis, you know, Emma doesn’t go through a massive transformation and disappear into the role, but she doesn’t need to because she’s already so much like Belle. Still, I don’t find myself watching it thinking about Emma playing the role, I think of her as Belle, which is the goal of acting really. I love that this Belle is so active. I love that she is continuously trying to find a way to escape from the castle. The addition of the laundry machine and teaching the young girl how to read is so good because it actually shows us Belle’s intelligence. In the animated movie, we know Belle’s smart because we’re told Belle’s smart. She reads books and, sure, she acts rationally and she certainly shows the poise of an intelligent person, but this new scene gives us an active example of her intelligence and creativity while also demonstrating the oppressive and small-minded nature of the townspeople. Emma’s Belle is charming and smart and lovely, and I think she captures the essence of Belle perfectly.

All that being said, our two male leads really steal the show for me. I’ve seen the movie twice now and each time, one of the leading gentleman really jumped out. The first time I watched, Luke Evans felt like the true shining star of the film. His Gaston reminds me of Jason Isaacs as both Captain Hook and Lucius Malfoy. He isn’t just vain… this guy is a legitimate narcissist, it seems like his mind has truly been twisted by the war. This Gaston is even more evil than the one we left behind in the world of animation. Gaston has always been terrifying because of his charisma. The way he’s able to charm the people of the village is chilling and this time around we see even more of that trait, paired with a darker and more violent streak particularly illustrated by Gaston tying up Maurice and leaving him for the wolves. Plus, both times I saw the movie the audience gasped in horror when Gaston stomped on Belle’s lettuces.

The second time I saw the film, I was specifically watching for Dan Stevens’s performance as the Beast and man, this is good stuff. The Prince at the beginning is such a drama queen. He’s so over-the-top with his costuming, wig, even his gestures are extremely theatrical. The make up at the beginning is particularly brilliant, burying the Prince’s face in streaks of blue and silver so he still feels like an obscure figure that we don’t quite see. When Belle first meets the Beast, this is all still evident. The way he hides in the shadows, even his lines of dialogue, it’s all very dramatic. And then as the movie progresses, you can see this flair for melodrama fade away as he becomes a more grounded person. He becomes gentler, kinder, and his intelligence, which has always been there, comes forward. By the time we see the Prince again at the end, you can tell that this is the same man but he has been changed. The animated film’s human Prince always felt disconnected from the Beast for me. Sure, they made the eyes the same, but it was hard to see much else because we just see so little of him, so he always felt rather vanilla. That’s not the case here. When the Prince transforms back to a human at the end, this feels like the same character we have watched throughout the film. I’m sure this is aided by the incredible motion capture and CGI work, because the Beast is animated superbly, but Dan’s performance is just stellar.

The objects are perfect. There’s only one shot that I think feels odd (when Belle is carrying Lumiere with Cogsworth walking in front as they lead her to her room) but other than that one moment, I never second guess them as objects. They feel and act real. Lumiere’s movements in particular are incredible, right down to his close up at the start of “Be Our Guest.” I was worried about Plumette before seeing the movie because the bird design is so unusual, but it makes sense since they needed her to be able to fly to get around, and doesn’t feel out of place at all in the movie. Mrs. Potts and Chip are also beautifully animated, they always feel like real and solid objects with weight to them. Their relationship is wonderful, so loving and caring. Chip’s line, “OK. I’m older” is one of my favorite little moments of the whole thing. Cadenza is a wonderful addition to our cast of characters and I did not expect his relationship with Garderobe, but they were an excellent surprise. And Frou Frou! I love that Frou Fou is Garderobe’s and that he becomes Cadenza’s bench and is therefore the link between the two throughout their years in the curse. They’re just so sweet.

Maurice has been an under-reported character in all of this, and that’s a shame because Kevin Klein knocks this role out of the park. He is absolutely wonderful as Maurice. He is fatherly and kind but he has also clearly made mistakes as a parent and that is kind of embraced and understood in the storytelling. He is sincere at all times in a role that is pretty exaggerated in the animated film. If Maurice’s arrival in the tavern had been played exactly like the original, it would have felt campy, but Kevin Klein’s earnestness grounds the moment in reality. Not to mention his quips about snow in June and “apparently that’s what happens around here when you pick a flower” are delivered brilliantly.

Let’s talk Lefou. I don’t like this Lefou, and here’s why. Every other character in this film feels developed in a natural way. It feels like we are learning more information about these characters that has always existed, we just didn’t fit it in the first time around. Lefou, on the other, doesn’t feel like a character who has been developed but a character who has been rewritten. They clearly got the seed of an idea to make him gay but felt squeamish about making him evil and gay (and rightfully so), so they wrote this redemption arc that feels forced and really doesn’t actually go anywhere… Lefou’s turn during the battle with the castle objects doesn’t actually do anything, so the whole thing feels arbitrary. After seeing the film the second time, my friend and I spent probably an hour and a half just talking about Lefou and came up with a brilliant solution to this whole mess of a character… more on that in a moment…

Incorporating the Enchantress into the story is very compelling. I think it’s very obvious who Agatha is throughout the movie, but it gives the sense that she wants the spell to be broken, she wants the Beast to learn his lesson, which is very interesting. Having her arrive after the spell has completed and actively reverse it is a riveting choice, and I actually felt like we were missing a moment with her where she realizes that she made a mistake. When she was watching the separated loved ones reunite, it seemed like there was a seed of remorse that was not addressed.

The character development is very well done across the board, but I think something this movie did that was important and contributes to its success is the development of the spell itself. I think this was one of the most brilliant moves the film made. The eternal winter around the castle explains the sudden weather changes in such a short period of time while still using the seasons as an emotional storytelling technique like the animated film. The wolves are also clearly part of the curse here – I would have actually liked to have seen them included in the finale sequence, either transformed into humans like the objects, or else disappearing like mist with the rest of the eternal winter. Having the castle crumble every time a petal falls from the rose is so smart as well; it explains why the objects know every time a petal fall while also representing their and the Beast’s disintegrating humanity. But the best part of the curse’s development was definitely the memory loss. Adding the simple line to the opening narration about removing the people of the castle from the minds of the people who loved them was absolutely inspired. This one quick line explained a huge loophole that the animated film left regarding the presence of a massive castle in the woods and a royal family that apparently the entirely world did not know about. But even better than that, it created some wonderfully emotional reunions at the end. My friend beside me gasped so loudly when our favorite teapot exclaimed, “Mr. Potts!” and the moment with Henri Cogsworth and his wife(?) was so hilarious and, in my opinion, subtly hinted at our second LGBT character in this universe. Which brings me to the Lefou thing.

Here’s what my friend and I came up with: in the opening sequence, we see Cogsworth lurking in the shadows telling the Prince that “it’s time,” we see Lumiere handing the Prince a candelabra, we see Mrs. Potts chasing after Chip… in the midst of all this, we could also show a masked jester entertaining a few people at the ball. When the Enchantress arrives, a lot of people run out – presumably that’s where Mr. Potts and Mrs. Cogsworth escape and why they’re not included in the spell – and the jester leaves with them as well. At the end, the Pottses are reunited, the Cogsworths are reunited, and then Lefou recognizes his old beau, Chapeau the violinist/coat rack, and joins the finale back in his jester outfit. It makes total sense for Lefou to be “the fool” of course and explains why he falls into the abusive friendship he has with Gaston, since it would parallel the relationship he probably would have had as a jester for the similarly self-centered Prince. This adds two quick two-second shots to the opening scene, one of the masked Lefou juggling or something and one of him fleeing when the Enchantress shows up, and about twenty seconds at the end for the reunion and revelation and, in my opinion, is so much less problematic than writing our first ever LGBT Disney character as an evil sidekick with a forced redemption arc – this way, he had his memory erased, just like everyone else. Just our little idea but I think it could have blended into this world quite smoothly. Alas, here we are.

Moving on! The finale is absolutely gorgeous. The whole ending sequence is my favorite thing about the whole film. The fight scene is fantastic and then from there to the end, everything is so marvelous. We know the objects are going to be okay in the end, but seeing them all finally lose the battle they’ve been fighting and become motionless household objects is… emotional! Then the Prince’s transformation is brilliant, giving the perfect nods to the original film, and each character’s subsequent change back to their human state is perfect (Cadenza’s teeth!), especially when Mrs. Potts and Chip go sliding down the steps. And then when she says, “You smell so good,” oh my gosh. Whoever contributed that line is a genius. I go all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it. Then we have the wonderful and funny reunions and then the final dance sequence, where Emma is beautiful and Dan is looking good in bright sky blue and rococo curls in his hair. Audra McDonald sings flawlessly and we have that beautiful moment between Mrs. Potts and Maurice that made my little shipper heart do a backflip, even if there is a Mr. Potts now. I’m still not sure if I’m on board with the growl, but I adore the line about the beard – apparently it was written for the original film and Paige O'Hara even recorded it! But it interrupted that finale sequence so they never used it. I think it works perfectly here, it’s so cute.

The first time watching, I felt the pacing was so odd in the film, with some abrupt transitions that didn’t quite work. I felt that less so the second time, maybe just because I was expecting it, and sometimes I actually liked the sudden change. I also don’t fully understand the shuffling of scenes at the beginning. The animated film goes (1) “Belle,” (2) Belle and Maurice at home, (3) Maurice leaves for the fair, (4) Maurice arrives in the castle, (5) Gaston proposes, (6) “Belle (Reprise),” (7) Philippe comes back and tells Belle to the castle. The movie rearrange this so almost all of the village scenes happen together, reordering that sequence as 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 4, 7. Because of this we end up going from Maurice’s whole scene in the castle, back to the village for about thirty seconds with Philippe and Belle, then right back to the castle again. This made the whole sequence of events feel rushed even though each moment was given about the same amount of time, or more, as the original film. Additionally, I felt some of the filming choices from a cinematography point of view were weird. There were several times that we were zoomed in on a character, usually Belle or Gaston in the village, and it felt like the shot was kept tight to hide something but then there wasn’t anything to hide… it’s a hard thing to articulate, but I definitely noticed it through both viewings.

The design of this movie is amazing. Breathtaking. Thousands of beautiful costumes and such detail – human Cogsworth’s buttons have the Roman numeral numbers on them! Not to mention the object designs. Lumiere’s candlestick form is clearly inspired by the Broadway production, which was an absolutely brilliant choice. Garderobe’s wardrobe form is A THEATRE, it has box seats and a stage with curtains as her mouth piece! Even the villagers are designed with such care, memorable and reminiscent of the original in many places – the man with the scissors and the guy with the mustache, the Baker is very similar to his animated design… I would have liked to have seen blonde silly girls to contrast them more distinctly with Belle, but they are what they are. The set design, from the village to the absolutely incredible castle, it’s all so, so good. I love the little flowers painted on the doorway to Maurice’s cottage and I loved the magnificent, baroque-meets-gothic design of an extremely unique castle. I know people are up in arms about the yellow dress, I know it’s not perfect, but it doesn’t stick out so horribly in the movie and it moves so beautifully in the ballroom scene. And honestly, I’ve never cared about the yellow dress, the blue dress is the one I’ve always loved and I just think the live action interpretation is glorious. It does not feel like a costume, it feels worn-in, it feels natural, like it’s just Belle’s favorite dress, and I just love it so much.

Speaking of detail, they named the village. And they named it Villeneuve. As in Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve, the original author of the fairy tale. Come on. That’s fantastic.

Let’s see, some of my other favorite moments that jumped out at me that I wanted to mention… the whole “Gaston” scene in the tavern is awesome, maybe my favorite scene besides the finale sequence. I love that Lefou is going around paying everyone off to boost Gaston’s ego, I love the dance, I love the use of Tom, Dick, and Stanley as cronies throughout the entire movie, I love lifting the young woman and then lifting Lefou, the whole song is fun and funny and exciting and the new lyrics are just amazing - “Then I shoot from behind!” “Is that fair?” “I don’t care!” …That’s exactly what’s going to happen in the final battle. Ugh. So good.

The moment in “Something There” where the Beast moves to Belle’s end of the table, she puts down her spoon, and they both sip their soup out of the bowl… that hit me in a way the animated movie never has before. It’s amazing symbolism. He can’t eat with the spoon, she’s not going to lap it up like an animal, so they find a way they can both eat the same way. They’re meeting each other halfway. That’s some good stuff right there.

OH, and I can’t believe I haven’t mentioned “Be Our Guest!” Come on. They went hard with that. They put on a full Broadway production on the table in front of Belle! The way it just kept growing bigger and bigger was delightful. Plus I love that the grey stuff is designed after Be Our Guest Restaurant’s grey stuff, complete with the silver and grey chocolate caviar beads.

Replacing the animated film’s bookstore, which never really made sense in a town of people who think reading makes someone weird, with a small shelf holding a dozen old and worn books that Belle has read over and over is just such a wonderful touch. I love that Belle’s favorite play is Romeo and Juliet because she’s barely read anything else and I love that the Beast’s reaction is to roll his eyes at her selection. I would have liked to have seen the giving of the library be a little more deliberate and a little less off the cuff, and I definitely missed the “promises you don’t intend to keep” line, but I’m so satisfied with the choice to make the Beast a reader. Having “a very expensive education” totally makes sense, and what else would he have had to do with all that time? They each develop the other’s literary taste! What’s better in a relationship than that?

The new songs are lovely as well. “How Can A Moment Last Forever?” is so much better than “No Matter What,” I wish it could logically fit into the musical instead because it’s really, really good. “Days in the Sun” is so sweet, it’s nice to have those moments with the young prince and each of the objects and even Belle, and honestly I can’t stand “Human Again” so I’m good with this one, plus the lyrical nod to “A Change in Me” is nice. But “Evermore” is clearly stealing the show as far as the new songs are concerned. What a great song. I still think they could have done a little tweaking to the lyrics in order to still use “If I Can’t Love Her” but if we’re going to write a new song for the Beast, I’ll take this one. (But can we not digitally lower Dan Stevens’s voice next time? It sounds like a computer singing at some points.) I also loved all of the new/old lyrics that were incorporated into the songs we were familiar with. They felt fresh without being forced. The new “Gaston” lyrics are definitely my favorite, but the new lyrics that Mrs. Potts sings in the finale are touching. Plus, using the Broadway songs as underscoring was really nice, especially “Home.”

I’m just so delighted with this movie. Everything from the original is there but now there’s more. The stove is there. The coat rack is there. The footstool is there. They just paid so much attention to detail and did this movie the justice it deserved. I’m already prepared to call this my favorite movie. Easily. By miles. It’s beautiful and just absolutely everything I was hoping it would be.

PART ONE | PART TWO

The cab ride to the Mikaelson Compound felt terribly long. You had the need to just blow up Kol’s phone with calls and texts. But, you knew better that he would only ignore them so instead, you held back.

You gazed out the window and started slightly shaking your right leg from being so impatient to arrive at your destination already. We’re you really in danger or is it possible that Kol got jealous? Surely enough, you won’t stop until your question gets answered.

Finally after what felt like forever, you have arrived. You paid the cab driver with cash, letting him keep the rest of your change as you rushed out. Thank goodness Hope was spending the night at Hayley and Jackson’s apartment because you planned on raising hell once you got inside.

“Kol!” You shouted as you marched inside the compound. “Kol effing Mikaelson!”

Klaus and Elijah just happened to be sitting at the table exchanging words while drinking scotch. “Oh, hey guys.” You greeted, then went back to using your eyes to scan around the compound. “I know you can hear me!”

Just as you grabbed onto the railing to walk upstairs, Klaus stops you to get a word in. “And may I ask what my little brother did this time? It seems that bloke has a habit of getting himself into a mess.” If you had eyes in the back of your head, you would be able to see the amused look Klaus has on his face. The tone in his voice says it all.

“Long story, Klaus.” You weren’t in the mood to vent.

“I assume you’ve been drinking, miss Y/N? I can smell the alcohol in your breath from here.” Elijah said.

“Yup. Your sisters too.” You continued to make your way up the stairs without caring if Klaus and Elijah wanted to add on or not, you needed to speak with Kol.

After looking in room after room, you found Kol hanging out on the patio taking his time drinking out of a blood bag.

“Okay so you’re playing the ignoring game now?I’m not leaving until you tell me what’s going on.” You spat, stopping just a few feet behind him crossing your arms in front of you.

Kol sighed before speaking. “You don’t give up do you?” He turned to face you, setting the now empty blood bag on the nearby table.

You made no answer. “Fine.” Kol sassed then continued, “Well go on, let’s have a seat.” He pointed over at the bed since his bedroom didn’t have any chairs or couches available to sit on. You swallowed, then followed through, perching yourself at the edge of his bed as Kol did too.

“Okay, so?” You questioned, keeping your eyes on him.

“I suppose, seeing you with that vile man made me uneasy. I wanted to snap his neck the moment I saw him speak to you. But seeing as Marcel has these rules, I simply cannot.” Kol said.

“First of all, that man was very polite to me. And secondly, how in the world did it make you feel so uncomfortable that you just had to ruin our night out?” You asked, fixing him with a stare as you await your answer.

“I’m aware that we had these bloody rules about not allowing ourselves to feel feelings for each other. I mentally punish myself for it everyday.”

“Um what?”

Kol took a deep breath. “I, Kol Mikaelson, have unintentionally fallen for my…fuck buddy.” He admitted while forcing a smile.

You stifled a laugh and fell silent for just a moment. If you could, you’d pinch yourself to make sure you weren’t dreaming. How in the hell did you get so lucky?

“My apologies, darling. I know this is uncomfortable for you since it’s obvious you’re to trying to move forward with your life and all.” Kol stood up off the bed, he frowned, feeling embarrassed because he assumed you don’t feel the same way he does. “You asked, so I answered.”

“Oh no no no. I’m just processing this right now. Sit back down.” You patted your hand next to you on the firm mattress. “So when I told you yesterday that I wanted to start dating again. I actually don’t.”

Not a word came out of Kol. He just sat there trying to read your facial expressions.

“I ended up having feelings for you too, but since we made that stupid vow, I thought you followed it.” You confessed.

“Why not bother telling me, Y/N?” Kol questioned, resting his hand on top of yours.

“I could say the same to you, Kol.” You blurted, then softened your tone of voice. “But I hate rejection, so, I figured if I just distanced myself, the feelings would go away, you know?”

“I understand, love. Well since that’s all in order, what shall we do?” Kol quickly lightened the mood. He can’t ever be in his feelings for too long or else he’d go crazy.

You stretched, then made yourself comfortable on the bed by resting your head on the pillow. “I don’t know, you tell me.”

Even though Kol ruined your planned night out, you couldn’t help but get over it, especially since he looks so hot in his button up and you were still a little buzzed. Laying in his bed gave you dirty thoughts of all the sex you had with him. You flirted with the idea of Kol being on top of you right now. And of course, since you were his play thing for those last couple of months, you knew exactly how to get him in the mood.

You brushed your hair with your fingers to one side and teasingly bit your bottom lip, hoping it wouldn’t look too obvious that you’re trying.

“You’re a daft one, Y/N.” Kol chuckled, then crawled over to place himself on top of you. He planted his lips on yours which led to a hot and steamy kiss. You started to wrap your legs around his waist until all of a sudden, he stops and pulls back, giving you a devilish grin.

“Um, what’s wrong?” You questioned.

“Sorry, but that’s all you get, love.” Kol made known with that grin plastered all over his face.

“You’re annoying.” You scoffed and moved him off of you so that you can sit up on the bed.

“Oh don’t be so cross with me. Now that we both fancy each other on a deeper level, you’re going to have to work for it, darling.”

At first you didn’t understand, but you realized that Kol did have a point. “Yup, you’re right. So how do we approach this then?”

Kol took a second to think about it and then an imaginary light bulb appeared over his head. “I have a thought. How about I take you on a date or two and we move from there?”

“I’d love that.” The smile on your face could be seen from a mile away. You leaned over to give Kol a kiss on the cheek. “Pick me up tomorrow night at 7:00.”

“Brilliant.” Kol agreed.

You left the room so that you could end your night with Kol at that. Waking downstairs, you can still see Klaus and Elijah in the same spot. “Great.” You mouthed to yourself.

“Where’s Kol? Ah, let me guess. You rid of him with that dagger?” Klaus implied, taking a sip of his bourbon. Elijah just sat there and decided to mind his own business this time by keeping his opinions to himself.

“Ha. Ha. Very funny.” You joked, then walked out the front so that you could wait outside for your cab. There was no way you were going to wait in the middle of the compound for your cab with Klaus. You were tired and just wanted to go home and get some rest.

As you were waiting, you thought about how excited you are to go on your first date with Kol. You mentally crossed your fingers hoping that this leads to something amazing.

(The First Date…)

You never thought of Kol being the romantic type. Who can blame you though because you were so used to being his booty call that being viewed as something much more will take some getting used to.

The night sky was pitch black as the time is a quarter to 9. Kol told you to dress up and have you meet him at his house. Arriving there, there was a stranger on the driveway dressed in a suit who had special instructions on where you to lead you. You figured Kol had compelled this man.

The man led you towards the backyard in a path that led to the trees which had beautiful lights and lanterns wrapped around and hanging. The end of the path brought you to a table meant for two with high end looking plates and utensils. The table was also minimally decorate with well lit candle and rose in the center of the table. The best part about it, is seeing Kol sitting at the table waiting especially for you.

“Hello, darling. You made it.” Kol smiled, then he got up to pull your chair out for you.

“I mean of course. But oh wow. You did all of this?” You sat down, still looking around amazed with everything.

“I may or may not have compelled someone to help me.”

“Of course you did.” You rolled your eyes at him playfully.

It didn’t take long for the compelled butler (as you call him) to bring out a cart filled with 3 course meals. “Not too shabby.” You commented.

After lots of food and laughter, the night ended successfully. Kol walked you to the car and innocently planted a kiss on the forehead. Butterflies took over your stomach on your drive home and you laid in bed with a gigantic smile on your face.

(Several Dates Later…)

It has been almost a month now that you and Kol had agreed on this whole ‘dating’ thing. To the fortune of both of you, everything has been going great and you were just dying to have sex with him already. You were hoping he was thinking the same thing too.

Today is your day off, so you decided to invite yourself over to the Mikaelson Compound to hang out with Kol. The plan was to watch a couple of movies and maybe even spend some time with Hope if she isn’t with her mom and Jackson. Today would also be the first time that the both of you had alone time in his room since this all started since Kol’s been really strict on taking you out on dates only.

Walking in, you see Rebekah playing with Hope. Kol was just hanging out on the chair scrolling through his phone. It looked as if he was doing it to kill time as he waited on you. “Hey guys.” You announced.

“Hi, Y/N.” Rebekah greeted you, then went back to smothering Hope in kisses.

After Kol heard your name, he looked up and put his phone in his pocket. “Ah, darling. It’s about time you arrived.” Kol stated, greeting you with a hug and a long kiss on the lips.

“Oh you two lovebirds.” Rebekah stopped to compliment.

“So, I brought my favorite Tim Burton movies that we can watch.” You said to Kol, pulling the movies out of your bag for Kol to see, then put it back inside. You would love to give Hope some of your attention, but whenever Rebekah is here, she always tends to hog her.

“Whatever you like.” Kol said while looking at you with loving eyes.

Of course movie time meant cuddling in Kol’s bed under the warm blanket. 30 minutes into the movie, Kol had his hand over your thigh. It wasn’t long until the temptation got to him which led him to slowly traveling his hand high towards your core. Since you’re the one that’s probably wanted it more than him, you were more than happy to allow Kol to do whatever he wanted to you.

You started breathing heavily and let out light moans while he slowly rubbed his fingers in circles through your panties. One thing led to another and the next thing you know, the both of you were ripping each others clothes off.

Before getting too aggressive, Kol stopped himself so that he can take his time with you. This was a first considering when you two were friends with benefits, you were practically attacking each other. But this moment, at this pace was a euphoric experience.

You’ve never made love to anyone like you’ve done with him and you have the confidence to say that he’s the best you ever had, enough to put you to sleep. As Kol was spooning you while you were asleep, he made sure to kiss you goodnight. “So much for finishing this movie, love.” He whispered in your ear.

Let's Swayze This Mother

Summary:  You, Dean, Sam and Cas decide to search for Gabriel, it does NOT go as planned.

Characters: Reader, Dean, Sam, Castiel, Gabriel

Word Count: 1931

Warnings: language

A/N:  This is my submission for @ravengirl94 1.5K Challenge.  I had the prompt:  “I make bad decisions when I’m tired.  You’re always tired. Exactly.” which will be bolded in the fic.

Thanks to my MastaBeta @wheresthekillswitch for word checking and so much more!

This may be slightly spoilery if you haven’t seen the season 12 finale.  If you haven’t watched it, keep scrolling.

“I can’t believe that he’s been alive the whole time,” Dean says, walking into the bunker library.

You, Sam and Cas are sitting at the far table, books strewn about.  He hands you and Sam a fresh beer before sitting down next to you.

“And you really didn’t know?” Dean asks Cas.

“Didn’t know what?”

“That an angel blade can’t kill an arch angel,” Sam supplies.

“No I did not.”

Cas looks between Dean and Sam as they stare him down.

“So Gabriel’s just been alive and keeping to himself?”

“Well, I can’t say I blame him,” you blurt out.  The three men turn to you in surprise.  “What?  Gabe avoided some major drama.  He didn’t have to play middle man to Lucifer and Chuck or deal with Amara.  I think it was pretty smart.”

“Ok, Y/N’s acceptance of Gabriel’s behavior aside, we need to find him,” Sam says, giving you his signature Sam-face.

“He could definitely help us with the Lucifer, Nephilim, alternate dimension crap,” Dean continues.

“So, how do we find him?” you ask, looking to Cas.

“It will be difficult.  Gabriel is a master at staying hidden if he wants-” Cas starts.

Suddenly the four of you are standing in a dining hall.  Except Dean who’s sitting at the table nearest you, wearing a light pink dress.

Spider-Man: Homecoming

First off: woah.

That movie was absolutely fan-fucking-tastic.

And, while I have been looking forward to it for over a year, I didn’t think that it could really live up to my expectations.

But it did! It had Ant-Man level humor throughout the entire thing, and still had an action movie vibe. It was so great to see a superhero who isn’t really “super” yet, one that’s just getting started and is still learning the ropes.

Now: I should probably note that while Zendaya was featured in so so so much of the promotion, she probably has 10 minutes total screen time. However; there is a 100% chance that she will be an incredibly important character in the upcoming movies. Her lack of screen time did disappoint me a little bit, but knowing she has much more to do in the future makes me feel better.

The best part: the cast. The cast absolutely made this movie. Having such a diverse group of characters, as main and as background characters, was incredible. This movie manages to be super funny, but still have serious moments. There were times where I was literally hyperventilating from laughing so hard.

So go see it. Please.

This movie absolutely needs to do amazing, and it absolutely deserves to do amazing.

20 dumb reasons why the Twilight movies are a pleasure to watch:
1.) Come on they’re just aesthetically pleasing
2.) Everyone is attractive. Literally everyone.
3.) Some scenes are a cringefest so there’s some humor for you
4.) You can hear the awesome songs from the awesome soundtracks playing throughout the movie
5.) there are 935 couples in the series, so you have to like at least one and Twilight couples always show love in scenes and whatnot so you’ll have lots of “THAT’S MY SHIP!” No matter what your ship is
6.) They are action, romance, and gore movies all in one
7.) Sometimes they film Rob from angles they show his gr8 jaw…major plus
8.) Lots of cute boys with their shirts off
9.) Lots of pretty girls with different personalities…you have to relate to at least one of them and that’s cool
10.) Lots of trees
11.) Billy Burke as Charlie Swan with a mustache
12.) Peter Facinelli and Elizabeth Reaser as Carlisle and Esme AKA GREAT
13.) THE SCORES FOR ALL THE MOVIES ARE SO GOOD
14.) Seeing everyones hair change every movie lol
15.) Emmett carrying a bag of eggs in the first movie
16.) Jacob’s first shown wolf transformation in New Moon…epic
17.) Really good filming locations!!
18.) Kristen Stewart narrating the movies
19.) Every movie except the last one starting with a Kristen Stewart voiceover whole the camera zooms over some nature or building
20.) The ending credits…I love them. Always watch them after every single Twilight movie

It was his last interview for the whole press tour so he was excited, more excited because he was going to see you. After a long time of being a part. He was going on the Graham Norton show with other people. He like interviews like that, they were more fun and open.

When the show started it already was filled with jokes and many great stories.

“Tom, you have a I’d like to say sweet story about you and Y/N?” Tom smiled and shyly looked down.

“I think it’s a bit embarrassing too”  he laughed but kept on with the story “well as many might know. Me and Y/N worked on a movie together and I was quit open about how much I liked her. I talked about it in interviews and on social media” he was cut off by one of the other guest.

“And while this was going on you never asked her out?” Tom nodded making everyone laugh

“Not a single time. I guess I thought , I actually don’t know what I was thinking. Any way. As the movie ended and the press tour was over, I thought this would be the last  time I see her” before someone else could him off he turned to the people on the couch “and no I still didn’t ask her out. But She asked me out” he smiled saying those words. Tom still couldn’t believe he was dating you now.

“You must have felt horrible you were so slow she had to ask you out” said Graham but Tom just laughed

“Oh no, i felt horrible when I actually fainted when she asked me out. Like fall to the floor fainted. “ him and everyone else laughed imagining the moment he was talking about. “That is horrible” he said but at the same time thought it was a great story he would be telling his future kids.

From the moment he came home from the first date he couldn’t stop thinking about the future he could have with you: Kids, house, dogs. Now he just couldn’t wait for it to come true.

I'm not well-versed in movie credits. What do you mean by tier A and tier B? Can we tell much about roles from this?

Billing is super weird. Order does matter and grouping matters, but it also depends on contracts and money and… egos. Straight off you can just take a straight line down the billing and just say Harry has 4th billing and that’s super great. You can break down the order in different ways though, especially if we see promotional material start to come out that has all the men’s name grouped in particular ways or presented in a specific order.

Here’s an article about it

One way it might be grouped:

  • Top billing: Fionn Whitehead
  • Second group billing (in alphabetical order): Tom Glynn-Carney, Jack Lowden, Harry Styles
  • Third group billing (in alphabetical order): Aneurin Bernard, James D’Arcy, Barry Keoghan
  • Prestige ‘with’ billing: Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance
  • Extra prestige ‘and’ billing: Tom Hardy

Alternatively, you can go by lines and get a slightly different result:

  • Top billing: Fionn Whitehead, Tom Glynn-Carney, Jack Lowden
  • Second line billing: Harry Styles, Aneurin Bernard, James D’Arcy, Barry Keoghan
  • Prestige ‘with’ billing: Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance
  • Extra prestige ‘and’ billing: Tom Hardy

If there are promo materials with their names grouped a certain way, that can tell you something. Also if there are front titles at the beginning of the film, usually that will give you an idea of who sits where in the ranking order.

It quite simply can be that he’s 4th or it may be a grouping.

It’s high enough for it to be valid for him to be a promo horse for the movie though. Like he’s being interviewed in LWL ahead of others because 1. he’s a big name and 2. his role is significant enough to justify it.
