this makes me so upset!

Everyone’s congratulating PBG for his upset outburst towards Jontron, but nobody’s congratulating him for apologizing for it after and showing political disagreements shouldn’t be what destroys friendships.
I have a lot more respect for him because of this and he deserves more credit for it imo.

anyone else kinda terrified you’ll never be able to hold a job in the future because of your mental illness

important facts about community college

- just as much of a quality education as you would get at a state school or uni

- much more affordable

- usually more night classes that make going to school while working and/or taking care of kids much easier

- transfer students actually have a higher graduation rate than students who have been at a university all 4 years

- there is nothing wrong with aspiring to go to a community college

- there is nothing wrong with being proud of attending a community college

- there is absolutely nothing wrong with community college

I see so many people not getting the poster and being so rude and obnoxious about it. Did people really think the wedding was just going to be a subplot of the episode? I see so many people being like well this was something that was supposed to be about everyone with the wedding also in there?

It’s like. Emma is the main character. Always has been. They were never going to make it just a subplot. This was never going to just be one of the “many things” going on in the episode. It was always going to be the main thing because she is the MAIN character.

Not to mention the poster

1. Isn’t going to be changed by your upset.

2. Is what it is assumedly for budget reasons. I’m guessing they put the imagery of a hook and rings in there also because putting pictures of PEOPLE in there would SPOIL the episode and it’s cheaper.

3. This isn’t your story. I don’t know how many times i’ve seen people miss this point. But would i be upset if it was a Rumple picture or something? Nah. But maybe a bit jealous or sad it didn’t have my faves. Would I be petitioning and writing the actors and creators about it? No because 1. it’s not going to do anything. 2. you are taking away the enjoyment of people who actually work on and make the show. and 3. What we want doesn’t really matter. We are along for the ride. This is A/E’s story. And we’re free to bitch and moan all that we want but we are also free to get off the ride. We can’t tell them what to do because this ISNT OUR STORY to create, write or shape. Also Idk about you but if i don’t like a ride I tend to stop riding it. I don’t throw a fit and try to shut it down.

4. It’s a poster for an episode. A fricken poster. Dear lord, please save me from how greatly this fandom is bothered by such small things. You don’t know what else they will release. You have no idea what else is coming for your faves.

5. Stop attacking people who are happy about this. Let people live my god.

Idk i’m just so over the juvenille ass reactions from people. Stop trying to pretend this story belongs more to you than it does the creators. Be upset all you want but the minute you start bombarding an actresses page and a creators page tarnishing their work imagine if I came to you and did the same about your fan art, your fic, your pictures, your set visit footage. It wouldn’t feel nice because it isn’t nice. It’s childish. JMO might be a big girl. But damn let her be excited about her work and be upset in your own sphere without turning something good for WHOMEVER is experiencing it INTO SOMETHING SOUR.

Before I got on this god forsaken website I was a fan of every single character. Some more than others sure. But there was nothing solidly that I despised. This show brought me all AMAZING FEELINGS. And to log on and see so many angry mean spirited cruel people really has turned a show that has helped me through some serious things feel more like a burden than anything else.

This post isn’t for you guys with an opinion different than mine. That’s fine. I’m okay with you not liking something or wanting it differently, and what I’m okay with anyways shouldn’t matter to how you feel or respond. This post is directed at those that just want so desperately to let the entire fricken world know just how angry they are and ensuring that anyone else who is happy is forced to feel whatever upset feelings you are having. I mean tags are being invaded. I’m seeing threats being made. Grow up.

•This makes me so upset bc all I see now is comments about the boys dropping friends and not being able to keep friends. Seriously, you don’t know what personally goes on in their lives everyday, the only thing we see is their videos, photos, and tweets..we don’t know what goes on behind their camera and phone screen. I’m glad he’s finally addressed this, proud of you E.❤️•

And Chris has always used the platform he has been given to raise awareness about important issues and to be vocal about causes he believes in and about justice. He’s actually had an impact on people and he’s making a difference and by scaring him away and leading him to leave social media because of their hatred, these people just silenced a voice who was talking about important issues. I hope they’re happy with themselves.

i wish we saw more acne body positivity, representation, and normalisation. it’s so fucking overlooked in most body image and feminist discourses but such an ordeal for so many people. i wish we saw more people discussing how acne means you often have no choice but to spend money on and wear make up because your skin and its blemishes and blackheads and scarring means that your workplace might literally tell you that you don’t look what they consider to be presentable. that it means that you will be criticised for wearing “too much make-up” but be stared at when you’re not, told that you should “cover that up” or “see a doctor” because to them your skin is distasteful. i wish more people spoke about how acne means you look at yourself in the mirror some mornings and don’t even want to leave the house. that because of this it can effect your job, your schoolwork, your relationships. i wish we saw more people discussing how people will assume that your skin means you’re an unclean, unhygienic person. i wish we saw more people talking about how acne isn’t something that just affects people’s faces. some people have acne on their chests, their backs, their necks. all kinds of places. that it means you feel embarrassed to go swimming or wear clothes that show off your skin. that it means you dread vacations. or the entire season of summer. that you want to miss prom because you don’t want to wear a dress. that your scared of the person you’re dating seeing you without make-up for the first time. or how cystic acne can be so painful that you might not even be able to even wear a bra on some days. that sometimes smiling hurts. i wish we saw more people talk about how damaging it is to watch a tv show where the main character wakes up one morning with a single zit on their face and the entire episode implies that it’s something to be embarrassed by, that one isolated blemish is something they should find horrifying and try as hard as possible to hide. i wish we saw more people talk about how people with acne are continually underrepresented in media and art. i wish we saw more people talk about how treating acne can be chronic, expensive, jumping-from-medication-to-medication life-long battle. i wish we saw more people talking about how acne or scarring or any dermatological condition doesn’t mean you’re any less beautiful. that it isn’t something to be ashamed of. that you’re not beautiful “despite your skin”. that you and your skin are objectively gorgeous and nothing to be ashamed of.

i really like your blog but i was kinda disappointed to see that stuff about ace people... they're part of the community regardless of whether or not they're discriminated... and also tbh there are a lot of sexualities that simply don't get as much hate because they're not well known... as for ace people - I literally had a teacher tell my class this week that "being asexual or aromantic - those people are sick, you can't be those things and be healthy... it's an illness"... decide what you will

oh my god. Look. Okay, this is all I’m going to say on the matter:

being anything and everything outside of a cis heterosexual person is not like a free pass to the lgbt community. okay, I am an Ace person, I am ace. I am asexual. and people talking about aph*bia on here KILL ME, because at the end of the day being ace does not mean you’re lgbt. someone saying that- doesn’t mean they hate ace people?? It doesn’t! why is that so upsetting to hear? being straight ace doesn’t mean you’re lgbt, it means you’re straight ace, Why are straight ace people so Desperate to call themselves specifically LGBT??, like whats wrong with calling yourself straight ace?,

I don’t care if you’re disappointed to see it on my blog, unfollow my blog, because I stand by this. Being straight ace doesn’t make you lgbt. And if someone who is lgbt tells someone who is straight ace that being straight ace doesn’t make them lgbt then honestly why should that bother them in the first place like?? Doesn’t mean you’re not ace? Doesn’t mean you haven’t possibly faced your own forms of exclusion as someone who is ace?? It just means you aren’t lgbt??? Why are these people so desperate to call themselves lgbt??

listen to me. being asexual IS valid. It is different and I am ace myself, I know that in being ace a person can be faced with various forms of exclusion and even manners of oppression in regards to that but that relates specifically to being asexual and it does not make someone lgbt.

the post I reblogged highlighted the fact that being asexual has never been punishable by law anywhere in the world at any given time. and that’s just true. that’s a true statement. there’s nothing wrong with wanting your identity to be accepted and understood and validated and recognized for what it is. but maybe let’s stop trying to identify it as something that it’s not??

@platinumwishesatmidnight  said “Ohhh my god this blog is everything I’ve ever wanted I love it ;w;

Draw pyukumuku dressed up as another Pokémon?”

Everybody wants to be beautiful like a milotic!

also thanks, Im glad you like my blog!

So we always joke about bringing fire into the Archives (or at least I do) but I work at a library, a similar job to a scriv, except my job is a lot less crazy tbh. Anyways, I was thinking about Ambrose giving Kvothe a candle before going in and as much as I am pissed at Kvothe for being that stupid, I am livid with Ambrose for giving him the candle in the first place. Like, if I saw someone with even a cigarette in their hand coming into the library, I would throw them out. So the fact that a guy who has a similar job to me GAVE someone a candle just makes me furious. Lorren should have banned them both, tbh.
