this is why i relate to her

My thoughts on what could happen in tomorrows clip, if Sana does in fact go to Isak and Even’s place.

I think tomorrow’s clip could potentially be where Even and Sana’s connection comes in full circle. Last season, the first Friday clip after the hiatus was Isak coming out to Jonas. And Julie has said how the response to that clip meant a lot to her and so I think tomorrows clip will also be similar in style. Discussion, no drama, and possible breakthrough moment.

Sana texted Isak when she was upset. I believe we were supposed to interpret that moment as Sana wanting to study with Isak, so that maybe she can get info on Sara from Isak. Info that could potentially be used to expose her online, as she was just rudely talked about online in a public forum. We know that Sana is regretful that she wrongfully accused Jamilla of something she did not to. So why would Sana want to potentially do something similar again to Sara. 1) Sana is upset, feeling completely disconnected from her friends, and just very lost right now. 2) She is more certain now of what Sara has done. Whereas with Jamilla she assumed before getting all the information.

We are supposed to assume that Sana will go to Isak and Even’s to get info on Sara. But will she? I don’t think so. Its really important that Sana is going to Isak’s place because Even will most likely be there.

How does Even relate to all of this?

Even has not had the best experience with social media. We know he posted stuff on facebook. We know it was all so bad that he completely deleted all his social media. There is a good chance that after what happened, Even may have been bullied online in response to his own posts. Even knows the harm that posting on social media can do and potentially how exposing other people online (as he may have been), will not lead to anything good. Because as Isak said “girl you can’t run away from the internet.”

Even and Isak (who is aware that Even wrote stuff on facebook) will not give Sana info on Sara. Right now Sana needs someone to talk to (aka Isak and Even in this case), not someone to convince her to expose Sara online. It’s not the right response. There are other ways to go about it.

When Isak told Sana all that stuff about Sara the other day. He didn’t tell her because he wants Sana to expose Sara on facebook. Isak doesn’t know whats going on with the girls. All he knows is that Vilde, Eva, and Noora are all Sana’s closest friends. He knows Sana is a good person. He was telling her, your friends are getting played as a heads up.

If Even talks about what happened to him in relation to social media, we will get Even explaining what happened with Isak present, what exactly the fight was all about, and Sana finally having someone to talk to. Because as the doctor told us last season, we all need someone to talk to, we can’t go through things alone.

Sana may go into the situation hoping to get info on Sara but I hope instead it will end with her finally texting Jamilla. That would be really nice.

Or this could all be wrong who knows. All I know is that Sana has a good heart, she is a great person. As much as she wanted to send Sara that comment today, she didn’t. That’s important.

Why Angelica, Why?

I’m really starting to wonder why Angelica decided to give another birth in a first place. Jonas said they’d be hunted born or unborn; she could give them a fighting chance. So she did. The cluster is fighting BPO. There has been no cluster that came this far. But why Angelica?

Is it just a coincidence? Is her research somehow related to this? Does it have to do with Angelica’s ability to identify specific genes of senseate? IS THERE SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT BEING ANGELICA’S CHILDREN? Hmm…

Is our main cluster similar to…Neo from Matrix? Like are they “THE ONE”?

my head is spinning cause of noora’s stupid “nice thing”

seriously if this is yousef related nothing will make sense.

cause if its a one-time kiss they probably haven’t seen each other after so why tell her a week later, but if it is Yousef related then i don’t get why Yousef looked at Sana almost 20times/minute this week when he is maybe seeing Noora.

Just let me forget that text its probably for the best, my heart couldn’t handle a noora/yousef relationship, nope!

I don't want this to sound mean, I really do adore you and your blog, but why do you hate on reylo so much? I don't personally ship it myself, and see that as of tfa it would be a very unhealthy relationship. But enemies-to-lovers is a very common trope, and I've never really understood why people seem to think reylo would be worse than any of the other numerous similar ships. I see how Rey's unknown parentage could make things awkward if you're convinced they're related, but other than that?

I don’t mind the enemies to lovers trope. What I don’t like is the way Kylo tortured her - it’s been called mind rape by some - and people romanticize it. It’s like romanticizing Darth Vader and Leia - and I don’t mean the incest part, I mean the torture part. It’s unhealthy.

Whenever a new clip drops I spend most of my time wading through wave after wave of Evak stuff to find one or two posts featuring Sana.

I know Isak & Even have a lot of fans. I’m one of them but I just figured there would be just as many Sana fans. I mean all I saw before the season began was how much these same Evak fans loved Sana. I guess they only love her as long as it’s in direct relation to Evak.

I’m not mad, just disappointed. Sana is such a great character. There’s just so much about her that’s relatable. You don’t have to be Muslim to relate to her commitment to her faith and how she struggles to reconcile the two parts of her life.

I could go on all day about Sana and I guess I just don’t understand why more don’t feel the same way.

Do you think Vilde will redeem herself by the end of the season? I can't really see Skam ending with the girl squad breaking up, and I do love them, but at the same time if I was Sana's bff irl I would tell her to stay tf away from toxic snakes like Vilde. I really can't see any way for her to come back from this

seeeee this is why I am still in denial that the series is ending becausseeeee

I feel like we really really really need a Vilde season

I honestly feel like the only way we can understand, sympathise and relate to Vilde is if she has her own season which will redeem her and make us truly understand who she is and watch her grow into a wonderful human being.

I’m not sure how they will be able to redeem her without her own season.

Before Sana’s season I wouldn’t have been worried because Vilde seemed to have been slowly growing and learning….

but this season?

she seems more problematic and oblivious than ever

almost like they are setting her up for her own season

idk I have faith Julie wouldn’t end it without developing Vilde’s character enough that it will satisfy us buuuuut

i can’t help but feel like Vilde was meant to have her own season :/

About my ships...

This is just a random thought that came to me.

I realised a while ago that I barely ship Russel with anyone and I guess this is why:

I ship a shit ton of people with 2d, because he’s really good with relationships. He goes well with many different kinds of people and he’s always really sweet. Also; a lot of people on tumblr seen to suffer from things like depression and anxiety, which all of the members can relate to, but 2d is the most open about it.

I also ship many people with Noodle. I guess the keyword is “outgoing” and you already have a good chance of being shipped with her. She’s just so energetic and happy and she loves to go out and share this wit someone.

Then we have Murdoc, who doesn’t get that many ships. I feel like he would be a bit too cruel and rude for a lot of people and he really needs someone who is resistant to this. He also loves people who can speak up for themselves, but loves it even more when they can still be adorable as hell.

And finally: Russel. Russel is very calm and needs lots of time to think about stuff and have a quiet space around him. It’s because of this that there aren’t too many people who would be perfect for a relationship with him. He needs someone who is calm and thoughtful and for people who are more outgoing, this relationship would be extremely boring.

Feel free to let me know what you think!

levi when confronted with the ocean, an unimaginably vast expanse of water and a symbol of the freedom promised by the outside world–the world he spent his so many years in the underground dreaming about: looks at hange

“You and Betty went on a man hunt without me”

Well Veronica you see they went to go look for their childhood friend, Jughead; whom, you’ve proven, to not really give a shit about. So you can understand why you wouldn’t be the first person they’d call with something Jughead related.

Okay but consider a Mass Effect Andromeda where the Ryder family stays whole. Alec doesn’t die, the second Ryder twin doesn’t end up in a coma.

Imagine Pathfinder Alec Ryder getting to actually be a pathfinder, but also having to cope with his two children who are both canonically huge dorks.

Consider Alec trying to be diplomatic while his two grown ass children are behind him getting into a silent slap fight over who gets to ride shotgun in the nomad.

Consider Alec “so emotionally constipated he’s shitting out diamonds” Ryder having to deal with Jaal “I’ve known you for ten seconds let’s talk about our feelings because the angaran social filter is nothing like yours” Ama Darav.

Consider Alec having to constantly put himself between Reyes and whichever offspring has come with him because the guy will not stop flirting and this man is a criminal and we only need him for his connections, stop winking back.

Imagine Alec bonding with Evfra over the difficulties of leadership in an impossible situation, and having the lives of an entire species depending on your success.

Now imagine that scene but it keeps cutting to Scott and Sara daring each other to eat the weird alien food.

Drak offering Alec parenting advice!!!!!

Alec putting Peebee in time out until she can behave herself.

Alec putting on his Parent Voice when Gil and Kallo fight – it’s not even on purpose, they just sound so much like bickering children.

Alec having to deal with the fallout from the disastrous beginnings of the initiative – would fewer people attack him to his face? He’s certainly a lot scarier and a lot more intimidating than the canon pathfinder is.

Imagine Alec walking in on one or both of his children making out with their love interest. Imagine that ride on the Nomad.

Jaal trying to talk to Alec about it to reassure him of the true depth of feelings he has for Sara but Alec Does Not Want To Have This Conversation. Cora loves Scott but oh god she’s sleeping with her mentor’s son and he knows but he isn’t saying anything why isn’t he saying anything.  Liam practically climbing under the table whenever Alec enters the room because he’s sure his boss is going to space him for making out with his daughter.

Sahuna Ama Darav emailing Alec because “we’re going to be inlaws let’s talk about medical histories and plans for grandchildren!!!”

reasons why haggar is a lesbian

made by me, a certified lesbian

• she’s the most powerful villain/person in the show
     • like seriously no one has anything on her
     • and lesbians/gay people are always more powerful than straight people

• no one fucking…listens to her
     • which is relatable so i mean…

• the only time she smiles around a man is when she’s torturing him
     • do i even need to explain this

• she’s magical and magic is gay
     • proof: have you ever read a fantasy book because holy shit even if the obviously        gay characters end up being straight (looking at you sarah j. maas) they’re still            pretty fuckign gay

• what straight girl dresses like this:

conclusion: haggar is a lesbian

What did we learn from Vanity Fair?

This week’s issue of Vanity Fair is one of the first times the press was actually allowed to go in depth into The Last Jedi. The hype train has officially started rolling, so let’s see what David Kamp and Annie Leibovitz have to say about Episode VIII, and how this measures up to what we know so far!

The ‘beehive huts’ on Dingle Peninsula are meant to be a “little Jedi village.” “Luke…has been living in this village among an indigenous race of caretaker creatures.” Of course, we know that these creatures are the birdlike beasts that I thought were Convorees. However, it turns out they’re actually called Porgs, and they’re a new creature in the Star Wars universe.

Poe and Paige

”Poe Dameron…[is] back in action, coaching a gunner named Paige, a new character played by a Vietnamese actress named Veronica Ngo.” Paige is, presumably, Paige Tico, since the article says she’s the sister of Kelly Marie Tran’s character Rose Tico.

(Also look at how mischievous Kelly Marie Tran looks in this photo. She’s ready to go Star Wars-in’ around the MF galaxy.)

First Order ship

As you can see, Phasma’s spear rumor came true. And it really does look killer.

There is a scene somewhere in the film where  Hux, “played with spittle-flecked relish by Domhnall Gleeson” (I guess he spits a lot), looks out the window of a First Order starcraft.

Benicio Del Toro’s character is called DJ, but not in the film. Actually, he’s not called anything in the film. I wonder how that plays out. Rian Johnson said “you’ll see–there’s a reason why we call him DJ.” He is “a ‘shady character’ of unclear allegiances.”

Rose has a sister named Paige, who is a gunner in the Resistance. But she must leave Paige behind to go behind enemy lines on a mission with Finn. It looks like the rumors may be true, and Rose and Finn could sneak into the ‘Mega Destroyer’ yet.

Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo

Look! At! That! Costume! Holdo was the one character that I had a lot of trouble visualizing in my head. I was so confused when I heard ‘pink hair’ in relation to her character but it looks awesome. Plus we have a full name and title for Laura Dern’s character: Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo. It seems she is not at the top of the ranks, but if the rest of the rumors about her character are true, she will become the interim leader of the Resistance during the film. But that won’t be a good thing.

Canto Bight

Rose and Finn also journey to Canto Bight. Here’s what Rian Johnson had to say: “A Star Wars Monte Carlo-type environment, a little James Bond-ish, a little To Catch a Thief. It was an interesting challenge, portraying luxury and wealth in this universe.” So much of Star Wars has been junkyards and deserts, so Johnson wanted to go the opposite direction. “I was thinking, O.K., let’s go ultra-glamour. Let’s create a playground, basically, for rich assholes.”

The Slap

This wonderful mom ^^^ slapped the shit out of Oscar Isaac. “We did this scene where Carrie has to slap me. I think we did 27 takes in all, and Carrie leaned into it every time, man. She loved hitting me. Rian found such a wonderful way of working with her, and I think she really relished it.”

Some quotes from writer/director Rian Johnson on working on The Last Jedi.

To start working on VIII, Johnson wrote a list of the main characters’ names, then brainstormed ways in which each of their characters would be tested the most. “J.J. and Larry and Michael set everybody up in a really evocative way in VII and started them on a trajectory. I guess I saw it as the job of this middle chapter to challenge all of those characters—let’s see what happens if we knock the stool out from under them.”

Rian Johnson ”didn’t want this to be a dirge, a heavy-osity movie. So one thing I’ve tried really hard to do is keep the humor in there, to maintain the feeling, amid all the heavy operatic moments, that you’re on a fun ride.”

Johnson, “in preparation for Episode VIII, steeped himself in World War II movies like Henry King’s Twelve O’Clock High and ‘funky 60s samurai stuff’ like Kihachi Okamoto’s Kill! and Hideo Gosha’s Three Outlaw Samurai.”

But, as filmmaking is a collaborative effort, it wasn’t all Rian. He worked with Lucasfilm’s 11 person story group. Kiri Hart, a development executive, explains, “The whole team reads each draft of the screenplay as it evolves, and we try, as much as we can, to smooth out anything that isn’t connecting.”

Rian Johnson never felt suffocated by this group’s presence. In fact, he was surprised by how much leeway he was given. He even moved up to San Francisco for six weeks as he wrote so he could collaborate with them more. He met with the group twice a week during this time. But he also had another writing partner: the incomparable Carrie Fisher.

“After I had a draft, I would sit down with her [Fisher] when I was working on re-writing. Sitting with her on her bed, in her insane bedroom with all this crazy modern art around us, TCM on the TV, a constant stream of Coca-Cola, and Gary the dog slobbering at her feet.”

I absolutely loved Johnson’s past films like Looper and Brick, and I’m 100% on board with the approach that he’s taking with the next Star Wars film. Honestly, from a sheer filmmaking standpoint, Episode VIII is the Star Wars movie I’m most excited about (sorry Christopher Miller, Phil Lord, and Colin Trevorrow). If you haven’t yet, give the Vanity Fair article a peek to really get hyped for more Star Wars!

i know ive already talked about this but like

amethysts sudden recovery could really damage kids who are getting early onset depression? i started therapy at 11, and my issues started in 3rd grade, its not even that farfetched a kid with depression could see it

what kind of message would this send to those kids? recovery is spontaneous and not a slow, grudging and sometimes painful process? that could really hurt kids that are dealing with similar issues that amethyst was

the arguement that its for kids falls flat here, kids can hate themselves. they can develop inferiority complexes and depression as soon as they develop any sense of self awareness, kids can go through divorces and abuse and all kinds of shit that will make them hate themselves before middle school

idk but the message you ccan just. get over it suddenly is super damaging and patronizing to kids who actually deal with that stuff.

the reason i stayed a su stan so long is because i saw myself in amethysts self loathing after all

okay but the struggle when i see a good mark picture and just when im about to save it i notice the watermark and it says “mark in my heart” and im just like
