The new Michal and Renata Hornstein Pavilion for Peace at the MMFA is exquisite - each room is designed in such a manner as to showcase the art it contains and I kept coming back to this room… and I was also thrilled to see two of my absolute favourite paintings in the museum’s collection - James J.J. Tissot’s “October” and William Adolphe Bouguereau’s “Crown of Flowers” sharing the adjacent wing…

“He dreamt one night that she came and kissed him, and with that kiss she entered his body. She looked through his eyes and listened with his ears. In the morning nothing had changed.”

Duane Michals, From the Series Person to Person, 1974

Continuing with that au where the Nations are public figures. All the nations that participate (weather they make it to the finals or not) in euro vision attended the final show. And of course the nation hosting the event co-hosts with the other human hosts. Which would be pretty unfortunate for this years hosts having to deal with Sweden’s face.
