this is the only thing i didn't like in the anime tbh

so i recently had some POP ROCKS for the first time in like seven years and my reaction was literally the same as hinata’s lol

anonymous asked:

Can we also talk about how Bakugou went from "weird haired guy" to "Kirishima. Change of plans". Oh man I didn't realize how much I missed the anime *cries*

BOI CAN’T WE I just spent the whole morning crying over seeing the moment Bakugou recognizes Kirishima as an equal animated nbd at all r i p me - I think this might be the first time Bakugou calls anyone by their name, actually, and I just!!! that’s because Bakugou heard Kirishima’s words and recognized him as a good partner and a worthy hero and someone whom he could respect and I’m gonna be grateful for chapter 133 for the insight on this for the rest of my always I !!!!!! have feelings g a h

Anon said: ok ok ok ok but but listen what about BAKGOU AND OCHAKO they are the most popular couple and the most cutest , i think you should try to draw them once i would love love to see this !!! of course just if you want hehe thanx

Ahhh sorry anon but I really don’t ship that - I mean, it’s true that I ship Bakugou with a bunch of people aside from my main two, but if they’re part of Deku’s group you can fairly assume they’re not between my Bakugou ships? And I only romantically ship Uraraka with Deku, Tsuyu and Iida anyway so! You’re probably not gonna see any romantic baku/ocha from me, sorry o<-<

Anon said: Since we know what Bakugou’s parents are like, what do you think Kirishima’s parents are like?

I have a similar ask somewhere asking about Kaminari’s parents as well, so I guess I’ll answer both here?? As a general rule I don’t really like making headcanons over stuff I’m sure the manga will give me in the future, so I can’t say I’ve thought about this too much - there are a few things I work under the assumption of while drawing, like for example I’m taking for granted they both have at least functional families, considering Aizawa personally visited their homes to ask their guardians about allowing them back to school, and if anything had been weird he would have noticed

I like to think Kaminari got his quirk straight from one of his two parents with no mixing happening, and got the Kaminari surname from them as well, but that’s all I ever allowed myself to settle on as far as Kami’s family goes, everything else changes based on what I need for the current scenario I’m thinking about… I do often end back on him being an only child, though - in the same way depending on how angst or lighthearted I want it to be my ideas for Kirishima’s family change a lot, but generally I think I mostly fall back on the idea of him having a big family? In a scenario like that his parents are kind and love him a lot, but having many children and needing to split their attention on all of them might cause them to overlook him a little (it would explain his obsession with being flashy, for me) then again, who knows? I don’t know how canon you can consider the infos SMASH gives, but in one of the strips Kiri mentions working part-time, and the fact that he doesn’t seem to have problems with money kinda makes me believe he might be independent from his family like that (unless he’s a rich kid, also very entertaining as a possiblity)

I’ve seen a lot of headcanons floating around about both of these guys’ families and possibly being related to villains, that would be cool too, though I’m not sure how much I believe it

I’m sorry this ended up being little to no useful at all lol as I said, I just shift between scenarios a lot - imagine settling on one and growing attached and then having to let it go once Hori proves it wrong, that’d be terrible for me

On Free! and Y/OI

Here is the big difference: Y/uri!!! on ice, unlike Free!, starts with the protagonist talking about Vi/ktor, not about the sport, or how good it feels when he is on the ice.

(Original rant by a deactivated blog, this is just a c&p because I don’t want it to get lost, but you can also find it here.)

“Ok yes, I agree: There was some fanservice in free: the shots of muscles, of Haru’s butt while he exited the pool and such, but almost every sport anime I know has fanservice of that kind, so I wouldn’t count that in.

And as the relationship vs. sport part, oh boy I have thing to say.

I’d like to exemplify this by showing the first lines ever said on both shows:

Free! :

These are the very first lines of the show where Haru talks about the water and how he feels about it, ergo, how he feels when he is swimming…

Yuri!!! on ice:

Here is the big difference: Yuri!!! on ice, unlike Free!, starts with the protagonist talking about Viktor, not about the sport, or how good it feels when he is on the ice…

Free! didn’t focused around the sport only, since it also was about how the boys came to understand each other. BUT (and this is a big BUT) Free!  did focused around the sport. It might not have been like KNB that was all about intensity and winning and stuff, but it talked about Haruka’s feelings and relationship with the water, making all the drama and angst between the boys relevant for the plot and for the outcome of the competitions.

Yuri on ice just…doesn’t have that…the importance on the routines of every character are low…it doesn’t really matter. First of all, you would suppose that a sports anime would get more budget on animating the sport scenes, but Yuri on ice lays that budget on the victuuri scenes and neglects the ice-skating animation. From putting the very same costumes each time (IDK if that is an actual ice-skating thing, tell me and I’ll correct it), but that shows laziness and neglect, unlike Free! that paid special attention to every single moment, so they had fluid and intense swimming, tbh when I’m watching the skating on yuri on ice it’s as if I was watching a jelly-fish tank.

And then we come to the matter of relationships and characters. In Free!, the characters loved and supported each other, and besides were authentic and relatable, making every single one of them important and each of their struggles relevant to the plot, not leaving aside the consistence of the characters. Meanwhile, on Yuri on ice has forgettable characters that have zero relevance, and the two protagonist are completely unconsistent and un-relatable.

And finally, the main ship. Free! treated the relationships between the characters with so much care and love that you have a hard time deciding who to ship because every relationship is unique and authentic. I’ll speak as a makoharu fan now, but the dynamic between Haru and Makoto was so well managed that didn’t needed teasing and butt-grabbing, naked welcoming, censored “kiss” to make people ship it, it just was obvious. Some people may call it queer-baiting, but I, as a pansexual female, call it: “true, authentic, and honest love”, while Yuri on ice well, had to sexualize everything to make victuuri look canon and didn’t allowed a space for other ships, besides making the characters gary stu’s, to the point that the only ones I consider authentic are Yurio, JJ, and Mila.”

anonymous asked:

Dang I didn't think I would ever find someone who doesn't overly praise YOI or find anything negative, and I'm glad. As much as I love Yuri on Ice, I'm getting tired of people acting like it done certain things like 'the first time done in any anime' like m/m representation while other anime have done it better (Doukyuusei and No.6) in my opinion. Like I don't feel anything towards Victuri even tho they are shown to be a couple, but I know many won't accept that people have opinions on YOI.(1/2)

Besides, tbh it feels like the reason why people love this anime soooo much or even keep watching it is because their ship became canon. I mean most posts I’ve seen in the YOI tag is about victuri, yet they talk about how it’s such a great sports anime. I mean would they still love the anime as much as they do if victuuri wasn’t canon or didn’t have ‘gay moments’? I can imagine so many dropping the anime. (2/2)

This series isn’t exactly untolerable if the fandom didn’t take it sooooo seriously. They’re like “this isn’t yaoi”, exuse me, but victuuri is top of the chart in the yaoipervert poll every week. They’re like “this is not media made for women’s consumption, it’s a great sport anime”, but every other day, there’s a YOI pairing fanart in top 3 ranking on pixiv, mind you, not the overall ranking, just the FEMLAE USERS ONLY ranking.

tbh I feel most of these people just want to hop on a “progressive” bandwagon, but were born 10 years too late for No.6. I’m surprised tumblr’s reception of Doukyuusei is so muted tho. And this cheap fanservice mess dressed up as “sport anime” is touted as “representation” and ground breaking…..Probably beacuse Doukyuusei’s art style isn’t their cup of tea.

I agree about victuuri, I tend to whore ship in sports anime, but I just feel nothing towards victuuri. I know they’re like “canon”, but if I hate the tropes, I don’t care if they’re canonically married or divorced.

alright i’m in a bad mood so here we go

- The last chapter is showing us events ten years into the future. Pretty much anything can happen in ten years. People change, situations change, etc. Keep that in mind.

- There is nothing wrong with Uryu being a doctor. He said he didn’t want to become one because he saw his dad dissecting his mom. He then found out WHY his dad had to do it himself, and that he wasn’t just cold or heartless. Uryu and Ryuken’s relationship was implied to be repaired, at least somewhat. Uryu’s angst was resolved.

- Nothing in the final chapter implied that Uryu was sad, lonely, or “just like his father.” His face was hidden in the color spread, and we saw his back up until his smile was revealed, because Kubo wanted the audience to experience a tinge of worry for Uryu before revealing no, he’s really okay, he didn’t become like his dad, even when he’s working hard he’s still thinking about his friends. (Doctors can’t just blow off work to attend a party. Welcome to adulthood and all the responsibilities that come with it. Uryu’s doing his job and saving lives, and STILL found a way to watch Chad’s match. That says a lot.)

- Uryu is perfectly capable of getting over a crush he had in high school and moving on, there’s nothing to imply he’s sad and “pining,” ffs he’s a grown adult, stop treating him like a child.

- Chad became a boxer. We do not know WHY he became a boxer. His abuelo wanted him to stop being a bully; Chad chose to make his own promise to “not swing his fist for himself.” (That promise was never specifically about Ichigo btw…) He could be fighting for charity, or using his winnings to support his family, etc. WE DON’T KNOW. (And fyi, Chad’s in the “heavyweight” match. Whoever he’s fighting won’t go down with one punch, trust me.)

- Up until now, most of the people complaining never gave a damn about Chad anyway, so quit pretending like he’s been your “precious bb” this whole time when you left him out of your edits/meta/fanart/etc for fifteen damn years. “Chad deserved better!!” Yeah, no shit, he deserved better; he deserved to be recognized by the fanbase as a MC before it was convenient to do so for your “bleach sux” arguments.

- There is nothing to suggest that Orihime was shoved into the role of “housewife.” We have no evidence that she doesn’t have a job outside of the house, or that she doesn’t work in the clinic with her husband. There’s also no confirmed age for Kazui, so the “teen pregnancy” theory isn’t canon either.

- Ichigo defeated Yhwach ten years ago. He killed him. The “time skip” is a flashforward to show us Yhwach FAILING to move into the future and wreck everyone’s lives again. There would be no reason for Ichigo to purposely screw himself over in order to “be unhappy so Yhwach won’t come back.” HE ALREADY STOPPED YHWACH FROM COMING BACK. I KNOW YHWACH’S ABILITIES ARE CONFUSING BUT OH MY GOD GUYS, READ.

- Also, if you think Ichigo Kurosaki is the type of person to just “accept fate” and ruin his own life out of fear of some dipshit who hurt his loved ones, you know literally nothing about his character. Even if Yhwach’s defeat wasn’t already confirmed, Ichigo would do whatever he damn well pleased and wait for Yhwach to show up so he can kick the bastard’s ass again.

- Even IF Yhwach wasn’t already dead, even IF Ichigo was afraid of him, you know Ichigo is the kind of guy to say “welp, time to go become a mountain hermit.” He would isolate himself and let the people he loves have a “safe life” without him. He is NOT the type of person to DRAG AN INNOCENT WOMAN AND CHILD INTO A LIFE HE KNOWS WILL BE “MISERABLE.”

- Prior to chapter 686, Ichigo did not have confirmed feelings for Rukia or Orihime. Rukia did not have confirmed feelings for Ichigo or Renji. Renji’s feelings for Rukia were ambiguous ever since his introduction. Orihime was the only corner of this supposed “love square” that had canon romantic feelings for anyone. No amount of twisting the text to suit your ship will negate any of that.

- The creator also said flat out what kind of bond Ichigo and Rukia had. He was ignored then and is still ignored now. Non-canon romantic subtext in the anime, color spreads, and whatever went down in the rock musical do not erase what he said about their canon relationship in the manga.

- Oh, and Renji is not abusive. You are taking a very complicated situation that happened years ago and cherry picking to fit your narrative. Cut it out.

- Ichigo likes being a shinigami, as it gives him the power to protect those around him. He has mourned the loss of his powers before. However, he never showed any desire to move to Soul Society or become a part of the Gotei 13. Even at the beginning of the Thousand Year Blood War arc, we saw him perfectly content working as a substitute shinigami in the living world, fighting alongside his friends. There was nothing preventing him from trying to jump over to Soul Society and join them, yet, he didn’t??? Crazy.

- There’s also literally nothing in chapter 686 that implies that he no longer has his shinigami powers. “WE DIDN’T SEE THEM THO” is not a valid argument. I guess because we don’t see something, it stops existing? Kubo has no reason to show us he still has his powers, since there’s no reason for us to believe he lost them.

- Yuzu does not have a brother complex. Her favoritism and hero worship of Ichigo have always been obvious, and they now extend to Kazui (aka tiny Ichigo), which is what Karin was commenting on. Anyone who has a relationship like that with their older brother would understand why it’s embarrassing to have it pointed out.

- And stop calling Kazui an “incest baby,” you little shits. I don’t know what’s with your obsession with incest, but it’s not cute or witty.

Meanwhile, actual serious issues with the ending:
- Urahara?
- Yoruichi??
- Nel???
- Grimmjow????
- Kira?????
- Seriously, Kubo, buddy, wtf

anonymous asked:

I just saw a post about Isayama saying "Mika are like a mother he needs and a foster" how he say that, didn't chapter 50 also 85 made it clear or did I get it wrong? Also eren said "he's not her brother or her kid" so? I'm sorry I have no body to talk with and I really love Eremika and it means a lot to me. I'm just so confused. Isn't the fact that Eren and Mika love each other is already canon or is it just me? Sorry for all that and thank you

Hi anon 😊

okay, first you need to know that that interview is anime-centric, it only covers up to the events of the female titan arc, and chapter 50 and whatever came after it are not included

Isayama said Mikasa’s existence is like a mother to Eren, I mean let’s be honest Mikasa used to act a lot like a mother in the way she cared for Eren.

only it doesn’t mean it is meant to stay like that, and this is the part where people trip and make it seem like Eren fully embraces the motherly role and wants it to forever be the case, while in his words he keeps repeating “I’m not you little brother nor your kid”
obviously Eren doesn’t like that role and wants to push it away, wants to be treated like a man, a friend, just not her kid or her little brother.

and Isayama says something interesting here, along the lines of “Eren will have to move away independently and starts acting like a man” and he says “I might draw that scene one day”
to me that scene must’ve been chapter 50, it was a defining moment in Eren and Mikasa’s relationship and you can see that Mikasa’s role has stopped being that of a mother to him ever since.

(Isn’t the fact that Eren and Mika love each other is already canon or is it just me)

It is no doubt that Eren and Mikasa love each other so much, it’s a beautiful bond that we should appreciate, but if we’re talking about specifications:
- Mikasa’s feelings are canonly romantic. people will be bitter and try to take this from you but don’t let them, to me it’s a canon fact, one of the most obvious things in the series
if Jean’s crush on Mikasa is taken as canon, then so should Mikasa’s feelings that are way more obvious.

- Eren’s feelings are not confirmed romantic for anyone yet, but we know that Armin and Mikasa are the two people Eren cares about infinitely. tbh I personally doubt he thinks of romance at this point, or that Isayama is thinking of developing his character that way (but who knows) but for the moment, I think it shouldn’t really matter as long as we know that Eren cares about Mikasa a lot, he did promise to be with her forever after all.

the story isn’t over yet, and whether the ending is happy or sad, we should at least appreciate their bond being one of the strongest bonds in the series, and hope for a nice closure, good interactions and good focus, I trust Isayama won’t throw any relationship out the window so there’s nothing to worry about anon ^^

if you want to talk about eremika you’re welcome anytime ^^

[TRANS] 141203 Heechul Talks about Puff in Dream Girls’ New Book

Hear What Super Junior Kim Heechul Says: “I am very deep red, Puff is cool mint green!”

The first time you saw Puff…

Because we were only coworkers, at the first meeting my only thought was, “so this is Puff,” kk. Puff is very bright! Like a child of light (Taiwanese idiom). Puff is also very cute. When I’m in a bad mood, I look at Puff’s face and my mood immediately gets better. I also really like her round eyes.

Puff is very considerate. I’m a person with rather big mood swings, but Puff always understand my thoughts. As the time we’d been working together got longer and longer, even if I was angry she always knew how to calm me down. I think Puff is very observant, because she would often say to me, “Oppa gwenchanha? (Cherry oppa, are you okay?)” “Oppa, hwanasseo? (Cherry oppa, are you angry?)”

On-stage Puff vs. Off-stage Puff

I know that Puff is really big in Taiwan, even though I’m also the Space Big Star (haha ^_^). Puff would often secretly take care of the staffs around us, and would even bring a small notebook to record things, which made me think she places a lot of importance on people’s relationships. Even when we were out having meals, she would pour alcohol for the new staffs. This kind of personality made all the staffs really like her.

Cherry Oppa and Puff’s Relationship Style

Privately, our relationship was completely not awkward; in fact, we got along even better in private. Actually, at the beginning the two of us were a little awkward, until we went to Geoje Island for the honeymoon filming. After going out together with the staffs to eat, drink, and chat, I finally got comfortable with Puff, but the day after I was hungover during filming ^^. After that time my relationship with Puff became better and more natural.

During filming, the staffs arranged a lot of romantic stories and cute things for us. Because I’m not a very romantic person, and don’t understand what girls are thinking, these things gave me goosebumps all over my skin, and I said I didn’t want to do them. Every time there was this kind of situation Puff would help me and ask, “Cherry oppa, are you okay? Cherry oppa, are you angry?” She would comfort me like this, and in my heart I thought, she’s definitely working harder than I am, I’m sorry, thank you. Even though I didn’t say it out loud, I would still hug Puff to thank her. I remember something I said once, “Today, except for Puff, everyone else isn’t satisfied, so today when I film I will only look at her face” (writing like this, I want to gag…haha). Thinking back, I was more romantic off-camera.

Uh…we don’t have any common interests. I like video games and anime…the two of us also can’t cook, haha. During the secret show, there was one time it was just me and Puff by ourselves resting in the car. I kept playing games on my cell phone, and Puff just sat quietly and watched me play. I said to Puff, “Cherry oppa is awesome! What do you think? What do you think? Wahahahahaha.” Puff said, “Yes, Cherry oppa is awesome!”

After we got out of the car, the PD and the scriptwriter asked us what we were talking about in the car, and also said they had intentionally left us alone in the car. I replied, “I just played video games, that’s all.” The PD, the scriptwriter, the managers, and the stylists, with helpless expressions, all said to me, “You really don’t understand women!” I replied angrily, “So what? This is a very important game!” Puff, standing next to me, helped me and said, “Cherry oppa is very cute when he plays games.” …^_^.

Kim Heechul’s Ideas about Puff

Puff is like a cat! When Puff was taking wedding photos with me, there were some scenes that we shot with cats, but because Puff and I both really, really like cats, we would often play with the cats and forget to take pictures.

I think Puff is like a pine tree, because no matter whether she is on or off camera, she always keeps the same serious attitude. (Note: in Korea, pine trees represent never changing)

Puff is mint green. I am very deep red, and she is cool mint green.

Kim Heechul wants to say to Puff…

Cherry oppa doesn’t know how to express his feelings, has big mood swings, and didn’t take care of you well, but you always took care of me. Thank you for being so good to me. Even though at the beginning we were only coworkers, as time passed, I became more honest with you, and like a child, more and more sincere. When I go to Taiwan let’s drink soju mixed with beer (haha).

Right, I know your legs are very pretty, and girl groups won’t wear very much clothing even in the winter. Cherry oppa is most worried about this (haha). Take care of yourself and don’t catch a cold. Even though we won’t meet often, you can’t get sick, or else I won’t keep looking at you. This kind of visit is good, it makes me think of how things were before with us. It’s already been more than a year…I miss you…

The biggest thing that gets me is how most say YOI puts every other sports anime down cause victuri is canon, claim that it's queerbaiting if their ship isn't canon. The only sports anime that would be an example of queerbaiting is free tbh. If fangirls just want to see m/m then they should just watch Doukyuusei or at least not ignore its existence, I'm surprised I didn't see any big hype for that anime as big as YOI. Sorry for the rants, it's been building up for so long lol (2/2)

Yup, strictly speaking only Free internationally target fujoshi, other mainstream sports series like haikyuu and Knb don’t actually queerbait in the story, they only sometimes do that in their merchandise marketing.

The dual protagonists formula in some sport series is simply good sense in writing. It’s not queerbaiting. The resulted dynamics happen to be very “shippable”, but that’s not the intentions of the writers.

YOI is not a sport anime by modern standards. Most shonen sports series are very game driven, everything is written into a game/training camp, from basic rules and techniques, character building, relationship development, evolution of tactics, to backstories all happened when they’re in a game. In YOI, they skate a bit, flirt a bit. There’s absolutely no tension. The tournament is just a backdrop for the characters to meet and goof off.

Even in terms of relationship, it totally lacks the charm of sports anime. Shonen relationships are shippable cos they’re not like shojo romance, they’re fraught with friction, clash of personalities, mixed admiration and jealousy. YOI is totally like a shojo, some character-less bishie falling for the character-less MC for no reason. But apparently to tumblr, that’s a “healthy” relationship. Not that a sport anime should be about one relationship in the first place, romantic or not.

Alright, so I need to explain a thing seeing as this topic keeps coming up and It’s pisses me off. Most of you can already guess what it is I’m going to be talking about because this isn’t the first time I’ve talked about this.

Why Amu and Ikuto’s relationship isn’t creepy please stop calling it such.

I’ve been seeing quite a few people posting such things like “I used to ship Amuto, but then I realized how creepy it is” or “I don’t like Amuto because of the age gap.” and it’s pissing me off. I’m ganna put this under a cut as this is probably going to get a little long.

Could it be that the Phantomhive manour got burned down as a symbolism for cleansing? Destroy all that is evil and out of the fertile soil puirty shall grow. Fires do seem to havethis role in BB, we have the Phantomhive manour, the Noah's arc, in the Grenn witch arc, always when the "evil" or it's creations were supposed to be destroyed without a trace. Also to note, could it be, that Undertaker didn't know about the fate of the children in the Kelvin manour and he thought Ciel had just cont:

cont. killed them for sport, which made him think about how Vincent and Claudia both were quite reckless and with little care for their victims. Even though Ciel’s actions were probably allot more human tbh. Of course this begs the question how Ut knew about the circus arc, maybe he followed Ciel? But later at the midnight tea party Undertaker sees that Ciel isn’t that much alike his forefathers since he actually saves Harcourt instead of letting him die. Anyway, cleansing fires, yes/no? Maybe?

It’s true that fire seems quite important in the story. First, the fire burnt down the Phantomhive manor which was the beginning of Ciel’s tragedy. Not much later, a fire burnt down the cult where Ciel was being held captive, marking the start of his contract with Sebastian. Then there was the fire that destroyed Kelvin’s manor and killed the kidnapped children. And finally, in the Green Witch arc when Sebastian destroyed the laboratory with fire.

Like you said, in all cases the fire was supposed to destroy everything without leaving any trace. It could be some kind of cleansing. (That reminds me of Angela in the anime.) However, at least three of the four great fires were initiated by a demon. And in the Circus arc innocent children were dying because of that fire. So the fire not only destroyed evil but also innocence (also, Ciel’s innocence).

I think fire is a reminder for Ciel of that night when his parents were killed and his life changed forever. But he orders Sebastian to burn something down whenever he’s confronted with this weakness – probably as a means to eliminate whatever triggered him to have a mental breakdown.

The first time was when he summoned Sebastian. The cult had abused him for a month and whatever happened there has left a trauma on Ciel. He wanted to destroy everything there as if he could destroy his memories of what happened there and that’s why he ordered Sebastian to burn it down.

During the Circus arc, Ciel also suffered from a breakdown. When Kelvin confronted him with a replica of the sacrificial hall he was reminded of that month again. So just like before he wanted to destroy every trace of that memory – even if that meant to kill innocent children. In this moment, they were part of that awful memory and that’s why Ciel wanted them eliminated as well.

And finally in the Green Witch arc, again, everything was destroyed by fire. Ciel didn’t explicitly ordered Sebastian to start a fire but he gave him permission to “go crazy like a beast”. That was also after Ciel had suffered from a breakdown because of the poison gas and its effects.

So for Ciel, fire is what started his misery but it’s also a way for him eliminate whatever causes him to have a mental breakdown because it reminds him of that month in captivity.

About the second thing you said, I think Undertaker knew quite well that Ciel let these children die in the Kelvin manor. His comment seems like he knows.

Undertaker seems to keep an eye on Ciel. And he knew that Ciel investigated the Circus since he visited Undertaker before to check on information on the missing children. So it’s probably not that surprising that he was there.

Thank you for your question! :)

I just rewatched the final battle in the 90s anime, and I got chills. It was all about the five of them, not mirakuru romansu bs- it doesn't even get mentioned; and it was epic and beautiful and emotional. Then I remembered Crystal. A static, ugly piece of cardboard about Usagi getting the D. I feel tired and drained just thinking of this mess of a show, and looking back on the past year, I didn't enjoy watching a single second of it. I just tried to force myself to like it. Hope its really over

The finall battle of the first season in the 90s anime is the most epic thing.

It was all about Sailor Moon and her friends and trying to save the world she cherished so much, she doesn’t even mention or remember Tuxedo Mask LOL. And everything happening while the flawless Moonlight Densetsu is playing in the background.

It was really an epic and touching moment.

External image

So for those of you who have watched Crystal but never watched the classic anime here’s the final battle so you can compare and understand why Crystal will never be able to even be compared to the classic anime.

(Watch until the very end for FEELS).

Here’s the Usagi we all love and look up to, a girl that has seen how her friends and lover have died in front of her but still she doesn’t give up and goes ahead to be a hero and save the world despite of how miserable she might feel inside

Remember when Crystal Usagi killed herself just because she couldn’t be with Mamochan? yeah… they’re nothing alike at all.

And which is more important, the only thing in Classic anime Usagi’s mind while fighting against Beryl was her dead friends not her dead lover.
