Brook’s been feeling antsy all week. Her new school is stressful, despite the beautiful surroundings, she is still not used to Starlight Shores, the novelty of living in her favorite singer’s house is turning into confusion about how long she’ll have to stay there, and most important, she misses fishing!
However, Lawrence noticed her blue mood and let her use his fishing gear. She knows she’ll never be able to repay him for everything he has already done for her, but she isn’t about to pass up a chance to fish! Besides, who knows when she’ll have the time off from her crazy school work again?
Fishing in the ocean is different from fishing in the river. For starters, the catch is different. She already spotted a few exotic-looking fish, along with a couple of small sharks in her catch (!!!).
She wonders how much she can make for these. If she’s on her own, she doesn’t want to depend on her new friends for all monetary support and her money stash is bound to run out sooner rather than later.
Engrossed in her fishing, she doesn’t notice her new acquaintance until he is quite close.
Terrence: Brook? Hey! Never thought you could fish.
Brook: Oh, hi there! Of course, I fish. I’m very good at it too. What brings you here?
Terrence: I figured spending time at the beach would be healthier than staring blankly at the computer screen.
Brook: That’s an honest observation.
