Little known Cuban fact for your accurate Cuban Lance writing

We always call our parents “Mami” and “Papi” Like no joke, it doesn’t matter what age we are, we could be fifty years old and visiting old parents in their rocking chairs like “hola Mami, hola Papi” “Mama” and “papa” is like……weird asf to us Cubans okay don’t ask questions, it’s true.

Are there any anime series or movies you'd recommend? I feel like manga horror is more robust than it's animated counterpart, and I'm trying to find something to scratch that itch. I thought Parasyte and Attack on Titans started really well but just turned into shonen action, and stuff like Perfect Blue and Magnetic Rose are the best thriller/horror stuff I've found so far.

That’s the big rub with horror anime always. I get hooked by the first 5 episodes and then the shonen tropes come in hard.

My standard answer is always go through everything Yoshiaki Kawajiri ever made, though judging by your avatar you’ve probably already seen then all. Wicked City, Demon City Shinjuku, Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust, Cyber City Oedo, etc.

I think the third Berserk movie is excellent on its own terms too. The previous two movies miss out on too much to really recommend, but The Advent is gold.

The New Laughing Salesman airing now is really good too. Not exactly horror, but has the morality of a horror film more than many of these new shonen horror shows do.

Flashlight Girl

aaaa hi!! okay i need some like. gender help. i'm VERY nonbinary and i only use they/them (i esp hate she/her) but like. i rly just feel like don't have a gender?? it's just Not There but. i've only rly found agender defined as that and it's never felt right to me? it feels too. gendered i guess? if that makes any sense? do you have any suggestions??

Gendervoid is being completely outside of the concept of gender. I use the coding metaphor for gender a lot, so we’ll go with that.

Imagine there’s a slot for gender. In a binary system, you can be a one or a zero. Agender might haveno number at all, bigender would have two numbers, third genders would have a 2 or a 3 or a 48694. Gendervoid would be like not only having nothing in the slot for gender, but like having no slot at all.

That’s the only one I can think of right now.

First of all : tonight is probably going to be a night of ooc posting because why not.
Second : all of the Kairi blogs are making me all heart-eyes because heck yes let us all love on this Precious Princess™ more.
Third : I think I’ve legit adopted like half the fandom in the last five minutes.

“You understand as well as I how important it is to focus on our studies as third years. I must be the best at what I do. Inside and outside the classroom.” His perfectionism wouldn’t accept anything less. All too frequently he felt judged by people’s standards. If he measured up he could be truly accepted. He was cast aside - found wanting.

“I appreciate the concern, Niijima-san. Don’t work yourself too hard either. I’d have hoped you would have learned from your sister’s habits.” Sae-san’s focus on her job was obsessive. It aligned with his superior’s plans, but it was unfortunate to see a good person deteriorate in that way.

So I've taken like a dozen House quizzes and I gotten Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin equal. What does that mean?

To be honest, I’m not a big supporter of online house quizzes, especially if you’ve taken loads because that probably means you’ve found your way to the really shitty not very accurate ones

Literally if you search ‘hogwarts house quiz’ by the time you get to the third quiz down you’re getting gems such as

which quality do you admire most in others?

  • cunning
  • inspiration
  • loyalty
  • kindness

Like okay just offer up the houses on a platter and ask me to pick my favourite why don’t you? And don’t even get me started on ‘what’s your favourite colour?’

Basically my point is that taking loads of online quizzes probably won’t help the matter. If anything it’ll probably just make you more confused because the majority of questions in these things are just asking you to pick your favourite house which isn’t really what you need. If you have a gut instinct, I say go with it. The worst that could happen is in a few months you realise you were wrong and you change your allegiance. No harm done.

If you still want some external clarification, however, I’d go to this website which is a complete list of all the possible pottermore questions. It’s much less ‘where do you want to end up?’ which is probably useful for you. But at the end of the day, it’s got to come from you. Maybe say to yourself ‘whichever house I get in this quiz I’ll accept completely’ and then if you’re disappointed you’ll know where your heart truly lies. hope this helps

I don't know if I've already mentioned this, but here I go anyway... So, remember Bowie's boob-grabby outfit? Apparently, the original design had a third hand - over the crotch - but then NBC found out what he planned to wear and were like "wh- nO WAY" so he had to make it a little less inappropriate and ended up removing that hand~

My theory has always been similar to the anon earlier! I think Moriarty is the third Holmes brother but he was maybe adopted, (maybe be a Scottish couple which could explain the accent!) I've always thought that the reason he is so angry with the Homes' is because he is the only one who found out the truth that he was a Holmes and he's furious that he was the only one sent away! Maybe?

That’s really cool, wow I never thought of that! I actually like that! I could totally see it playing out that way actually….
