Mars Signs

Mars in Aries: Master of Aries, Mars gives the natives tons of energy, sex appeal to resell, and sometimes an explosive character that you will have to learn to control. Fortunately, your anger soon evaporates. Enthusiastic, assertive and bold, you are a natural leader who attracts attention even without looking for it.

Mars in Taurus: You are a nervous person, you work hard, you have feet on the ground. Determined, persevering, sensible and indefatigable, you can be distracted by the desires of the flesh, but when you engage in something, whether in a relationship or in a job, it is for the long-term - and the money. Born with great practicality, you pay attention to material goods and social status, often far more than you would like to admit.

Mars in Gemini: With the planet of aggression in the sign of the twins, you are fiery, contentious, nervous and irritable. Although you adore debating, you are not able to distinguish important principles from points of detail. Your energy rises and falls at a sometimes dizzy pace, but you have a keen and ingenious mind, and you are incredibly fun.

Mars in Cancer: You are a basically emotional person who needs to master his moods before he can successfully achieve his goals. If you do not understand it, you tend to make the head. You are extremely sensitive, but you may give people signs so subtle that many do not perceive them. In a couple relationship, you may be possessive and tenacious while you should be angry and take the door. You cook in your juice. You bury your emotions. You have to learn to be direct. But you are also awake, protective, devoted and imaginative, in bed and elsewhere.

Mars in Leo: Confident, exalted and indefatigable, you have passion, presence and continuation in ideas. When you are hired for a cause or an activity, virtually nothing can stop you. That’s right, you can be egotistic (which means you’re bringing too much interest to your own person) and arrogant, and your need to have an audience can be boring. However, your warmth, your enthusiasm and your eagerness to take the first step bring you many admirers, sentimentally and elsewhere. You create the excitement.

Mars in Virgo: Control is of paramount importance to you. You work hard, you are calculator and ready to look really straight in the eye. Sensible and methodical, you can detach yourself from your emotions when your success depends on it. This quality is advantageous for your career. In your private life, it gives you the amazing ability to turn on and off your sexual urges, at will like it.

Mars in Libra: In the best of cases, you are friendly, charming, you have class and you are incredibly attractive. You enjoy social life and you are willing to compromise, emotionally and in other situations. But you turn at a loss without a partner, professionally and personally. Moreover, you tend to conceal your uncertainties and insecurities by justifying your inconsiderate statements with more passion than logic, although you are proud of your rational mind. People sometimes feel compelled to say that they agree with you in order to simply put an end to the discussion.

Mars in Scorpio: You are courageous and cunning, determined, and you provide for your own needs. Gifted with a formidable will and unwavering desires, you also have a strong libido and are also intensely emotional. You can not stop yourself from succumbing to powerful feelings, and it is possible that you struggle with jealousy and the urge to seek revenge. It is not easy to adapt to changing circumstances, but you have a solid and reliable source of internal energy and a great deal of personal power. It is a beneficial position.

Mars in Sagittarius: Independent and enthusiastic, you have strong convictions, a love for outdoor activities, and a deep desire for adventure. But you may be negligent and provocative, and your crusades, begun with so much eagerness, do not always come to an end. You are also fair, direct, idealistic, and you can quickly gather your energy, especially if you have gone on an adventure.

Mars in Capricorn: Your desires, sexual or otherwise, are powerful, and your ambitions are targeted. When you feel recognized, your energy is reliable and you are persistent; But when you feel upset, your vitality drops. Effective, systematic and controlled, you respect tradition and authority, and you often reach the top of the hierarchy. You understand the hierarchies and you are, in different ways, a natural leader. But when you do not get the obedience you require, you can be incredibly cold. You usually try to hide your anger, but when it escapes, it’s unpleasant.

Mars in Aquarius: Whenever possible, you prefer the least traveled path. You are enterprising, impatient, unpredictable, and you are not afraid to take risuqes. Conventions bore you. Modern ideas captivate you and you appreciate the idea of progress. Change makes you excited. You are independent, idealist and friendly. But emotionally, you can be rather cold, you even rebellion sometimes just to make you understand something.

Mars in Pisces: You fall deeply in love. You are generous, changeable, agitated and highly intuitive. But when emotional uproar exceeds your tolerance threshold, you tend to close. When this happens, your will evaporates, you have motivation problems, you can discourage your friends by your passivity, and your physical energy disappears. One of the main challenges in your life is to regulate your energy, which can often be the slave to your feelings.

Descendant Signs 101

What? Your Descendant is ruled by Libra and Venus. It mainly represents relationships, partners, romance and who are attracted and why. Your Descendant is exactly opposite to your ascendant/rising sign and is held on the cusp of the 7th house.

Aries: You will attract and are attracted to people who possess Mars like qualities. People who are obvious, loud, aggressive (not like punch aggressive), blunt, and bright. You will have a libra Rising, and this indecisive, fair ‘attitude’ directly contradicts with the bright, aggressive, in your face people they attract. You are attracted to very kind and generous people too though.

Taurus: People who can provide for you are attractive in your opinion, in a relationship you crave someone who can be co-dependant with you and you can equally (heavily) rely on each other. You will have a Scorpio Rising sign, and this means you love to help people become the best version of themselves, so you may be attracted to people who are not similar to you so you can help them build on qualities they lack.

Gemini: You have a Sagittarius Rising to go with your Descendant. In relationships you like to be with someone you can feel free with, you like adventurous, constant change, and not too heavy commitment (at least at first). It will take the right kind of person to persuade you into marriage but you fall in love with the people you think are the most true and kind hearted (that’s your weakness).

Cancer: With a Capricorn rising , the people around you are the ones you hold the most dear and near to your heart. You are attracted to people who have similar family backgrounds to you, because this is a part of your life you find important to relate on. You attract people who want to take control of a relationship, you love to have an equal involvement, but like to be treated and be the one in a back seat.

Leo: Love can become an obsession to you, you are likely to be undoubtedly in love with love, This means you are attracted to people who are romantic, and pick out the smallest of  details. You are incredibly attracted to people who make you feel like you can do more than what you already do, people who are inspiring and kind. You attract eccentric people who don’t know how to fit in because you show them they do. (Aquarius Rising).

Virgo: You are someone who changes yourself for you partner without even realising. You fall in love and are attracted to people who point out things about you that are permanent and you don’t change. For example “I love your natural curly hair”; it makes you feel actually wanted. You attract (luckily) very kind hearted people because they know they can give you a lot of love and affection. Pisces Rising.

Libra: You are someone who might overuse the term “it’s not you, it’s me”, but really mean it. You are attracted to people who tell you to sort your head out, and tell you not only when you are in the wrong, but when actually you aren’t. You are also attracted to people who really considers your feelings and needs. You attract lively and tenacious people, people who are fun loving and natural smooth talkers. Rising is Aries.

Scorpio: You partner will choose you because they want to really feel love. Your rising is Taurus. You are attracted to passionate people, who never do anything to make you feel jealous and concerned (unstable) in your relationship. You attract strong minded individuals. You fall in love very hard and crave the same in return.

Sagittarius: You are attracted to people you can talk on another level with; whether this is a deep talk or an intelligent conversation, In fact, you value the conversations over anything else. You attract people with hell of a will power. You attract people you are blunt and not co-dependant. Your Rising is Gemini, so you also think a physical connection is important, and will attract partners who feel the same.

Capricorn: You have a very emotional and sensitive rising sign; Cancer. You are attracted to people who value family and get along with yours (no matter what your relationship with them is). You tend to really fall for people who don’t make you feel like you have to do anything, as you often will feel like you need to be perfect and do everything perfectly for them. You attract people who have a huge sense of humour and love to be safe and feel secure.

Aquarius: You are attracted to people who challenge and attract people who are full on and intense. You fall in love with people who wear their hearts on their sleeves and love very openly and publicly. You attract people who want a 24/7 relationship and someone to really rely on. The people who want you tend to be wanted and are fairly dependant on you to make them feel good. You also attract very understanding people. Rising in Leo.

Pisces: Your ascendant/rising is Virgo (the virgin). You attract people who are sensual, and love the physical parts of relationships. You also attract very intelligent people, who like balanced and honest relationships, too (just pick them apart wisely). You like people to be romantic for you, especially when they aren’t naturally romantic people. You are attracted to people who are unapoligetically themselves, people you just couldn’t change even if you wanted to.

In a society that mandates women’s attraction to men and floods young girls with m/w imagery before they can even understand it, lesbians will always be an incredibly vulnerable group and will NEVER be privileged for not being attracted to men. Boot that “monosexism” discourse back to fucking 2014 where it belongs.

Ok but can we talk about how important Ludi Lin’s character is in Power Rangers like oh my god here we have this incredibly attractive ASIAN MAN who isn’t attractive because of his race and who isn’t a stereotypical nerdy unattractive Asian man but is really attractive and flirty and badass but also has a realistic soft side because he loves his mom and takes care of her because she’s really sick and isn’t afraid to scream to the world “I LOVE MY MOM” and isn’t afraid to admit that he’s scared that he’s scared for his mom and is lonely and is also undeniably Chinese but also undeniably AMERICAN because yes Asian people can also be American and omg I just can’t rn his character is a BLESSING

“You look at Harrison and you listen; he looks like he’s carrying a gun even if he isn’t. He’s this incredibly attractive male animal, in every sense of the world. This carpenter stud… I’ve never had that same impression of anyone else in my life. I knew he was going to be a star–someone on the order of Tracy or Bogart.” – Carrie Fisher

Internal Conflict:  Five Conflicting Traits of a Likable Hero.

1.  Flaws and Virtues

I’m sure you’ve heard this before, but characters without flaws are boring.  This does not, as many unfortunate souls take it to mean, imply that good, kind, or benevolent characters are boring:  it just means that without any weaknesses for you to poke at, they tend to be bland-faced wish fulfillment on the part of the author, with a tendency to just sit there without contributing much to the plot.

For any character to be successful, they need to have a proportionate amount of flaws and virtues.

Let’s take a look at Stranger Things, for example, which is practically a smorgasbord of flawed, lovable sweethearts.

We have Joyce Byers, who is strung out and unstable, yet tirelessly works to save her son, even when all conventional logic says he’s dead;  We have Officer Hopper, who is drunken and occasionally callous, yet ultimately is responsible for saving the boy’s life;  We have Jonathan, who is introspective and loving, but occasionally a bit of a creeper, and Nancy, who is outwardly shallow but proves herself to be a strong and determined character.  Even Steve, who would conventionally be the popular jerk who gets his comeuppance, isn’t beyond redemption.

And of course, we have my beloved Eleven, who’s possibly the closest thing Stranger Things has to a “quintessential” heroine.  She’s the show’s most powerful character, as well as one of the most courageous.  However, she is also the show’s largest source of conflict, as it was her powers that released the Demogorgon to begin with.

Would Eleven be a better character if this had never happened?  Would Stranger Things be a better show?  No, because if this had never happened, Stranger Things wouldn’t even be a show.  Or if it was, it would just be about a bunch of cute kids sitting around and playing Dungeons and Dragons in a relatively peaceful town.

A character’s flaws and mistakes are intended to drive the plotline, and if they didn’t have them, there probably wouldn’t even be a plot.

So don’t be a mouth-breather:  give your good, kind characters some difficult qualities, and give your villains a few sympathetic ones.  Your work will thank you for it.

2.  Charisma and Vulnerability

Supernatural has its flaws, but likable leads are not one of them.  Fans will go to the grave defending their favorite character, consuming and producing more character-driven, fan-created content than most other TV shows’ followings put together.

So how do we inspire this kind of devotion with our own characters?  Well, for starters, let’s take a look at one of Supernatural’s most quintessentially well-liked characters:  Dean Winchester.

From the get-go, we see that Dean has charisma:  he’s confident, cocky, attractive, and skilled at what he does.  But these qualities could just as easily make him annoying and obnoxious if they weren’t counterbalanced with an equal dose of emotional vulnerability.

As the show progresses, we see that Dean cares deeply about the people around him, particularly his younger brother, to the point of sacrificing himself so that he can live.  He goes through long periods of physical and psychological anguish for his benefit (though by all means, don’t feel obligated to send your main character to Hell for forty years), and the aftermath is depicted in painful detail.

Moreover, in spite of his outward bravado, we learn he doesn’t particularly like himself, doesn’t consider himself worthy of happiness or a fulfilling life, and of course, we have the Single Man Tear™.

So yeah, make your characters beautiful, cocky, sex gods.  Give them swagger.  Just, y’know.  Hurt them in equal measure.  Torture them.  Give them insecurities.  Make them cry.

Just whatever you do, let them be openly bisexual.  Subtext is so last season.

3.  Goals For the Future and Regrets From the Past

Let’s take a look at Shadow Moon from American Gods.  (For now, I’ll have to be relegate myself to examples from the book, because I haven’t had the chance to watch the amazing looking TV show.)

Right off the bat, we learn that Shadow has done three years in prison for a crime he may or may not have actually committed.  (We learn later that he actually did commit the crime, but that it was only in response to being wronged by the true perpetrators.)

He’s still suffering the consequences of his actions when we meet him, and arguably, for the most of the book:  because he’s in prison, his wife has an affair (I still maintain that Laura could have resisted the temptation to be adulterous if she felt like it, but that’s not the issue here) and is killed while mid-coital with his best friend.

Shadow is haunted by this for the rest of the book, to the point at which it bothers him more than the supernatural happenings surrounding him.

Even before that, the more we learn about Shadow’s past, the more we learn about the challenges he faced:  he was bullied as a child, considered to be “just a big, dumb guy” as an adult, and is still wrongfully pursued for crimes he was only circumstantially involved in.

But these difficulties make the reader empathize with Shadow, and care about what happens to him.  We root for Shadow as he tags along with the mysterious and alternatively peckish and charismatic Wednesday, and as he continuously pursues a means to permanently bring Laura back to life.

He has past traumas, present challenges, and at least one goal that propels him towards the future.  It also helps that he’s three-dimensional, well-written, and as of now, portrayed by an incredibly attractive actor.

Of course (SPOILER ALERT), Shadow never does succeed in fully resurrecting Laura, ultimately allowing her to rest instead, but that doesn’t make the resolution any less satisfying.

Which leads to my next example…

4.  Failure and Success

You remember in Zootopia, when Judy Hopps decides she wants to be cop and her family and town immediately and unanimously endorse her efforts?  Or hey, do you remember Harry Potter’s idyllic childhood with his kindhearted, adoptive family?  Oh!  Or in the X-Files, when Agent Mulder presents overwhelming evidence of extraterrestrial life in the first episode and is immediately given a promotion?  No?

Yeah, me neither.  And there’s a reason for this:  ff your hero gets what they want the entire time, it will be a boring, two-dimensional fantasy that no one will want to read.

A good story is not about the character getting what they want.  A good story is about the character’s efforts and their journey.  The destination they reach could be something far removed from what they originally thought they wanted, and could be no less (if not more so) satisfying because of it.

Let’s look at Toy Story 3, for example:  throughout the entire movie, Woody’s goal is to get his friends back to their longtime owner, Andy, so that they can accompany him to college.  He fails miserably.  None of his friends believe that Andy was trying to put them in the attic, insisting that his intent was to throw them away.  He is briefly separated from them as he is usurped by a cute little girl and his friends are left at a tyrannical daycare center, but with time and effort, they’re reunited, Woody is proven right, and things seem to be back on track.

Do his efforts pay off?  Yes – just not in the way he expected them to.  At the end of the movie, a college-bound Andy gives the toys away to a new owner who will play with them more than he will, and they say goodbye.  Is the payoff bittersweet?  Undoubtedly.  It made me cry like a little bitch in front of my young siblings.  But it’s also undoubtedly satisfying.

So let your characters struggle.  Let them fail.  And let them not always get what they want, so long as they get what they need.

5.  Loving and Being Loved by Others

Take a look back at this list, and all the characters on it:  a gaggle of small town kids and flawed adults, demon-busting underwear models, an ex-con and his dead wife, and a bunch of sentient toys.  What do they have in common?  Aside from the fact that they’re all well-loved heroes of their own stories, not much.

But one common element they all share is they all have people they care about, and in turn, have people who care about them.

This allows readers and viewers to empathize with them possibly more than any of the other qualities I’ve listed thus far, as none of it means anything without the simple demonstration of human connection.

Let’s take a look at everyone’s favorite caped crusader, for example:  Batman in the cartoons and the comics is an easy to love character, whereas in the most recent movies (excluding the splendid Lego Batman Movie), not so much.

Why is this?  In all adaptions, he’s the same mentally unstable, traumatized genius in a bat suit.  In all adaptions, he demonstrates all the qualities I listed before this:  he has flaws and virtues, charisma and vulnerability, regrets from the past and goals for the future, and usually proportionate amounts of failure and success.

What makes the animated and comic book version so much more attractive than his big screen counterpart is the fact that he does one thing right that all live action adaptions is that he has connections and emotional dependencies on other people.

He’s unabashed in caring for Alfred, Batgirl, and all the Robins, and yes, he extends compassion and sympathy to the villains as well, helping Harley Quinn to ultimately escape a toxic and abusive relationship, consoling Baby Doll, and staying with a child psychic with godlike powers until she died.

Cartoon Batman is not afraid to care about others.  He has a support network of people who care about him, and that’s his greatest strength.  The DC CU’s ever darker, grittier, and more isolated borderline sociopath is failing because he lacks these things.

And it’s also one of the reasons that the Lego Batman Movie remains so awesome.

zach dempsey: can i kiss you?

Request: “I want a zach dempsey x reader one. Fluffy, and I want them to kiss.”

Pairing: Zach Dempsey x Reader

Warning(s): Fluffy and cute.

Word Count: 632

Gif: @joeck (Gee, no surprise.)

A/N: I didn’t really know where I was going, so bear with me.

“No, Zach, it’s not rocket science,” you exhale. “It’s just biology.”

You had the glorious opportunity to tutor the great Zach Dempsey. Yes, he’s attractive and ambitious, but he’s also incredibly thick.

Zach dropped his pen on the table and leaned back. He let a sigh escape his lips; which moved the piece of hair that laid upon his forehead. You hung your head on your shoulder, watching him close his eyes. You wouldn’t be telling the truth if you said you weren’t attracted to Zach Dempsey.

Tutoring Zach Dempsey isn’t the hardest job in the word, but it also ain’t the easiest. You couldn’t understand it- he was always getting good remarks in biology. But spending an extra hour with the heartthrob of Liberty was definitely worth it.

“So, what exactly do the nonkinetochores do?” You asked, trying to focus him back on the worksheet.

He sighed once more, moving the paper into his sight. “Uh, they elongate the cell for replication.”

You nodded, acknowledging his correct answer. “And why the cell elongates, it starts to…?”

“Create cell cleavage?” He questioned. You smiled and he took that as a result of getting the right answer.

“See, you understand,” you chuckled. You checked your phone for the time: 3:45. “And right on time. We gotta go.”

You both packed up and left the library. It was raining heavily, which you did not expect as you had not coat or jacket. Zach took off his varsity jacket and wrapped it around you when he saw you rub your biceps.

“Do you want me to drive you home?” Zach asked. His car was across the lot.

“Uh,” you paused. You checked your phone and saw that your dad couldn’t pick you up. “Please?”

He grinned and nodded. “No problem.”

Zach took his jacket off your shoulders and held it above your head. You two started speed walking to his car. When you were walking, Zach dropped his binder. You stopped to pick it up, but so did Zach. You both had turned into each other.

“Oh,” you exhaled. You were not soaking wet from the rain.

You looked up at Zach as he looked down at you. The water dripped off his forehead to his nose, then down to his lips. His mouth was slightly parted, which explained his heavy breathing.

He gentle moved a string of wet hair from the front of your face. He left his hand to hold the side of your head.

“Can I,” he breathed. “Can I kiss you?”

The corners of your lips curved up and your cheeks became rosy. Zach imitated the features.

“Please,” you whispered.

Without hesitation, Zach leaned forward. You pressed your hands against his chest to stabilize yourself to tippy toe higher. You felt his lips hover over your bottom. He nibbled slightly and pulled away.

You gripped the collar of his shirt and pulled him back for another kiss. You felt his smile form when he wrapped his arms around your waist. You released your grip to connect your hands about the crook of his neck.

His tongue slipped into your mouth, forcing him to crouch slightly to get a better angle. You sighed in the comfortable position. You pulled away, keeping your eyes closed.

“Get out of the rain! You’ll get sick!” the custodian shouted from the library.

Zach snapped his head to the man, then tilted his head. He picked up his binder then took your hand. Together, you both walked over to his car.

“Let’s get you home.” Zach opened your car door, letting you in first. He jumped into the driver’s seat.

With one hand on the steering wheel and the other in your hand, he drove out of the lot.

“Tutoring got all the more interesting,” Zach laughed.

Voltron fic recs, the fourth wall

PART ONE - PART TWO - PART THREE

So it’s been about six months since I’ve done a fic rec list. I’ve been asked a number of times to do this and I’ve read a lot of fic in that time so uh, I guess some of these are like my greatest hits of the last half year?

Some are very popular and some are less well-known but no less deserving of praise, so go give them all some love!

As with any rec list, please pay attention to the tags and warnings

Trouble’s Making Everything Alright - 78k (WIP); klance; Keith and Lance crash-land on a lawless, low-tech planet and become rough and tumble mercenaries, donning leather coats and gun holsters, righting wrongs (while committing a few heists of their own) and fighting to get back to their team.

you never stood a chance - 12k; klance; Lance accidentally sends Keith a gym selfie snapchat with the caption “BET YOU WANNA LICK THESE NIPS” and promptly freaks out. Turns out to be one of the best mistakes he’s ever made.

King and Reaper - 35k; klance; The story of the destruction of Earth and its aftermath, feat. questionable science in regards to weapons of mass destruction, gratuitous Star Wars references, theoretical chess games with the emperor of most of the known universe, explosions, the greatest bromance of all time, the worst romance of all time and many more things besides.

nothing’s quite as sweet - 50k; klance; Keith is a barista who hates his job. Lance works at the cat shelter across the street. When Keith finds abandoned kittens behind the store and in a panic goes to Lance for help, he kicks off a chain of events that includes kitten cuddles, coffee experimentation and a whole heap of fluff.

Foreign Scenes - 110k; klance; Lance is travelling across Europe and keeps bumping into Keith sneaking past “no trespassing” signs in an attempt to get better photograps. Basically an AU in which Lance and Keith become impromptu travel buddies and get into trouble.

You and I Collide - 55k (WIP); klance; Lance likes to sing in the shower. Keith lives in the apartment next door and the walls are not very thick. And you can bet when Lance wakes him up at 7:30 in the morning, Keith has something to say about it.

Pulsar - 31k (WIP); klance; A story about college, coming to terms with your past, being scared of your future, and running into crazy things like love somewhere in-between.

Ignorance is Bliss - 161k (WIP but almost done); klance; As it turns out, learning that your house is haunted makes the ghosts a lot more aggressive. Who knew? Ah, well. At least one of them is hot. And he’s the less-evil one, too, so that’s always a plus.

the potential of you and me - 15k; klance; The summer after freshman year of college, Lance drags Keith back to their hometown to hang out. But the two of them rarely spend time together without Hunk and Pidge around, because things had a way of getting out of hand real quick. This summer is… no different.

Deepest Shade - 40k (WIP); klance; Lance, idle middle son of the Álvarez family – shippers and traders, backbone of the galaxy, the epitome of self-made wealth – is drifting. Keith Kogane has been a thorn in Lance’s side since the day he was adopted by the powerful rival clan, but he can’t deny that Keith is incredibly attractive. A chance encounter at an Altean dinner party makes him realize the attraction might be mutual.

I need to read percy jackson because i love them AUs

And i love torturing Lance so I give to you this percy jackson AU idea where Lance is the son of Hades because langst and Lance being a outcast are my soul, Shiro is the son of Aphrodite because look at the guy, and Keith is the son of Zeus

and uh… heres some more idea for it

LANCE

  • son of Hades, not well liked
  • really hates that he’s the son of Hades
  • really misses his mother and his siblings, like really really misses them
  • just wants to be normal and go home
  • most new campers assume he’s aphrodites son because he’s a flirt and kind of attractive and they don’t know the ropes yet which always leads to an awkward moment when they ask because he kinda wants to say yes
  • would literally die for his friends
  • and by firends he means hunk, and later pidge, who are the only people that hang out with him
  • is incredibly jealous of keith because everyone loves him and he’s the son of zeus, is incredibly angered by keith because the guy doesnt even care
  • has an obession with water and swimming

KEITH

  • son of Zeus, adored all over
  • couldn’t care less about any of this halfblood stuff
  • was an ophran before he ended up at camp halfblood, knew Shiro before Shiro was taken in by the Holts
  • honestly more interested in his mum than he is zeus
  • does not understand lance, like at all.  the guy seems to have an obession with keith and has created this whole rivalry and keiths just like ‘so thats a thing i guess?’
  • despite being liked, doesnt really have any close friends until Shiro shows up
  • really wants to help shiro settle in, isn’t sure he wants to help shiro get his memories back

SHIRO

  • son of Aphrodite, has been named the favourite by other campers
  • like keith, he doesn’t care much about his godly parent or anyone elses godly parent
  • also like keith, was an orphan however he ended up in the holts are instead of camp halfblood
  • shiro doesnt actually know how he ended up in camp halfblood.  one day he’s fishing with matt and sam and then something happened (he’s not sure what) and he woke up at camp halfblood
  • really wants to remember what happened that day, and find sam and matt
  • at the very least he wants to assure the holt girls that he’s alive, unfortunitly he’s not allowed to
  • mostly sticks with keith, both can usually be found training because they’re keith and shiro and what do you mean training all day every day isn’t healthy?

PIDGE

  • not a halfblood
  • however she is the first human to ever be able to fake being a halfblood
  • snuck into camp halfblood and has contiuned to pretend she just hasn’t been claimed yet, because of this she (like lance) is mostly an outcast however she (unlike lance) doesnt mind so much
  • their mutaul outcastness somehow lead to lance and pidge being friends and therefore hunks also a friend
  • the reason she snuck into camp halfblood was because matt and sam went missing and matt is actually the son of a god (athena) so Pidge thinks camp halfblood may have some useful iinformation

HUNK

  • son of hephaestus
  • also doesnt care about parentage. honestly the only one out of the 5 that does is lance and he only really cares about his own he aint gonna judge you
  • because he doesnt care, he didn’t mind being friends with lance when the other had no one and now they are best friends
  • also hates keith, mostly because lance does
  • like lance, would die for his friends (just with more fear)

ALLURA

  • daughter of athena, hella feared but also hella admired and liked
  • when you met her she is pretty and regal but dont be fooled, she can and will beat your ass for hitting on her.  some how lance keeps managing to forget this
  • like lance she also cares about parentage and can be hella judgemental.  she despises lance because he’s hades son.  lance will never have a chance with her
  • her father also used to be at camp halfblood as a counselor, however he was killed
  • since his death she’s been looked after mostly by coran and also has gone into prepare-for-revenage mode

CORAN

  • a counselor at the camp
  • didn’t like lance at first, however he paid attention and noticed how self-sacrificing lance was and has a soft spot for him (it helps that lance saved his life this one time)
  • adores allura, wishes she and lance would just get along but knows its not going to happen
  • isn’t fooled by Pidge but is letting her stay anyway because he understands why she’s there
  • is banned from the kitchen, now and forever

THE GALRA

  • Halfbloods who desire to rule over humanity or maybe just destory it
  • Lead by Zarkon, who i’m thinking is either the son od Zeus (therefore entitled and also connection to Keith) or Hades (again entitled because big 3, and also evil connotation, also he’d have a connection to Lance which could lead to some Lance betrayals because he’s treated like shit)
  • Regularly kidnap other halfbloods to force them to become galra soliders, such is the intended fate of Matt
  • Regularly kidnaps humans to be slaves, such is the intended fate of Samuel and also Shay’s family
  • Shiro was their most promising of kidnapped soilders, however he was saved by a BoM member and taken to camp halfblood, not that Shiro remembers any of that
  • The BoM is a huge pain in Zarkon’s side but Haggar is the one that most  deals with them, they’re halfbloods who were taken by Zarkon or joined him willing and later realized how fucked up the situation was and managed to escape or become an undercover agent
  • Zarkon used to be a big deal at camp halfblood, and then he killed Alfor because Alfor didn’t agree with him

OTHER THINGS

  • thace and coran are probably dating
  • and only lance knows, he finds it super gross cause to him it’s like watching your parents flirt badly in front of you
  • which is fitting since coran basically adopted lance and all
  • lance finds allura incredibly attractive and enjoys flirting with her.  however he enjoys flirting with her because it makes for excellent training when she gets mad, he would be so lost if she ever responded positively
  • totally drooling over Shiro becase hello, look at him
  • Shiro is completely unaware, keith is not.
  • Klance or Shance would totally be the end came.
  • Despite Zarkons best efforts most of humanity is still completely unaware of the halfbloods exisitence.
  • Voltron is the name giving to a squad like no squad.  this squad ends up being the main 5 (funnily enough)

If someone could write this for me i’d be in love
