“The album has taken a year and a half to write, whereas with One Direction we’d have six weeks” they literally had six weeks to write an album jfc…. like i knew that in general and how rushed their shit was and how overworked they were but…. damn.

My Secret Session Story.

On October 6th (the day after I got my wisdom teeth out) Taylor Nation Dmed me about a top secret event I was invited to. As soon as I read that I knew I had to go no matter what, I fell on the floor, and I was sobbing. On October 8th I got a call from Taylor Nation, and they told me it would be on October 18th in Rhode Island. Even though that is so far away from Ontario, Canada my parents were still so supportive and said we would go. Btw an hour after the call Taylor came on my livestream and just wow.

I then went out and bought a really cute outfit, and kept it a secret from everyone, and couldn’t sleep for the whole week.

Once the London Secret Session happened, I knew that’s what I would be attending too. And I once again started crying. Every time I thought about what would happen on October 18th I cried.

Finally on October 17th we began our 10 hour drive down, and I just listened to Taylor the whole time (I should’ve done homework, but like…) and it was so fun!

Then the day came…

I woke up early, walked on the beach and explored Rhode Island. Then I got ready for the night!

At around 2:40pm we drove to the meeting place, and got all checked in and got our wristbands and everything. I also met up with my online friend Akhila who was also invited!!!

Then we all got in these cars and drove up to TAYLOR SWIFTS HOUSE. The gates opened all dramatically and I began sobbing!!

HER HOUSE IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

We then went into Taylor’s kitchen and ate food, I went out on her balcony and talked to Scott (he gave me so many guitar picks), I met Andrea, Austin, and Tree as well! They were all so kind.

The food was amazing, I ate so many of the rep m&m’s.

We then gathered into Taylor’s living room, they closed the blinds, dimmed the lights and the session began. (((WHAT HAPPENS IN THE SECRET SESSIONS STAYS IN THE SECRET SESSIONS)))

Lemme just say that the album was absolutely amazing, the best one yet. Taylor was in her chair dancing and singing along the whole time and looked around at all of us. She made eye contact with me so many times, and smiled at me, and danced with me, and I cried so much. I was so freaking close to her and she looked so beautiful and she was soooooooo happy.

She looked flawless, and her happiness radiated to all of us.

(((more stuff happened here that I can’t talk about))))

Then we went into another room and waited to meet Taylor.

During this sessions she wasn’t rushed, she took her time with everyone, and it was supposed o end at 9:15 but I was there till 11:30.

I went into the room to meet Taylor, and she hugged me so tight. She knew my name (she said it wrong but she knew how to spell it so it was all good, and then she said it 5 more times the right way lol). She was even more gorgeous that close up, I couldn’t believe what was happening, yet she was so easy to talk to?

We talked about how amazing the new album is, I said that Red was my absolute favourite but Rep took the #1 place and she was like “LOW FIVE, HUGH FIVE!!!”

Then we talked my livestream she watched, and how I couldn’t find my cat. And she said she’s seen me online so much but I used to be more tanned ahahah.

She kept complimenting my outfit, and stroked my choker saying “I love it it’s so delicate” and how my shoes matched my skirt and my choker matched my nails, so she proceeded to touch my nails.

She said she loved how energetic I was and that I was dancing with a childlike joyfulness the whole time!

At one point I was like “you’re gorgeous” and then she tapped my arm and said “YOU’RE GORGEOUS” and later she said “you’re an angel” so I tapped her arm and said “YOU’RE AN ANGEL” it was so cute.

Then she asked what type of pose I wanted to do and I said “I was thinking like two best friends just chilling on the couch” and she was like “OHMYGOSH YESSS DO YOU WANNA HOLD A GRAMMY????”

So we started talking about the Grammy I was holding which was aoty for 1989 !!!!!

Taylor was like “yes that’s the new baby.”

On the way over to the couch I stumbled and the couch moved and she was like “oh don’t worry I do that all the time.”

Then we sat on the couch, she threw her legs across me with her amazing black boots, and she cuddled me as I held the Grammy!!

Then she was like “Halley’s mom!! Do you wanna hold the Grammy?”

So we took another photo standing up with my mom, and I hugged her as my mom held the Grammy.

Then I thanked her for everything and told her I love her.

And she was like “I love you, you little fashionista” and did a little dance.

Then I walked out of that beautiful house, got a bag of merch, and went back to my hotel room.

Then Taylor came on my tumblr and liked soooo many posts and reblogged one and just the day couldn’t get any better.

The amount of joy I felt for the whole night was absolutely amazing. Nothing can ever compare. It’s safe to say that it was the best day/night of my life and I will cherish it forever.

I can’t believe Taylor wanted to meet me, invited me into her home to listen to her new album, and knew about me!?!?!

October 18th 2017 will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Oh my god, in last night’s Bob’s Burgers, Bob takes Gene to a laser light rock show at the planetarium (super important to Bob, because it was his favorite when he was a teenager, and this is the last night before they’re closing the exhibit because it’s old and no one goes anymore, also it’s Bob’s birthday), and Gene has no idea what he’s in for, but he gets pumped for it anyway ‘cause Bob’s so excited about it, and finally they get in there and they’re watching it, and Gene has a sensory overload and kinda starts freaking out ‘cause he can’t handle it, so Bob takes him out and they sit in the car for a bit.  Gene’s angry because Bob didn’t tell him it would be so loud and scary, so Bob offers to play the album for Gene at a normal volume, and Gene starts to enjoy it, so he reclines the seats, takes out the cigarette lighter, tells Gene to pretend it’s a laser, and starts drawing in the air, explaining the plot to him (it’s like a full on Pink Floyd or Rush-esque rock opera about a bunch of robot overlords telling rockers that they can’t play music anymore, and one Rebel rising against them).  Gene gets really into it and decides he wants to see the finale of the laser show (which Bob regards as a life-changing experience), so they sneak back into the planetarium (there’s no re-entry allowed) with a few tricks that parallel the story from the album, and watch the climax of the show together (Bob fashions some earplugs for Gene out of a napkin).  On the way home, Bob’s asking Gene how he liked it, and Gene says “I loved it!”, Bob asks him to speak louder ‘cause his ear’s are shot, and Gene yells, “I LOVED IT, DAD”.  Bob yells back “I love you too, Gene”.

I FUCKING!!! CAN’T!!! DEAL!!!! WITH HOW GOOD THIS SHOW IS!!! I know i don’t talk about Bob’s Burgers a lot but this show is flawless and charming and gross and funny all at the same time, the characters are written like people with actual fears and anxieties, and unlike a lot of comparable shows, the comedy doesn’t come from the family being pitted against each other, it’s always the family against the world… I love it, I love it, it’s so pure and refreshing and still somehow manages to be funny without sacrificing it’s heart, and I fuckin’ love it, please watch Bob’s Burgers holy CRAP okay I’m done.

From Dan’s Rush AMA
  • He’d like to possibly cover Closer to the Heart by Rush in the future
  • His favorite concert of Rush’s he’s seen (out of 11) is the R30 tour in 2004
  • His favorite thing he’s seen them play live is Xanadu
  • He doesn’t plan on trying to start playing an instrument (aside from the bass which he has said he’s mediocre at) because the band he’s got now has such awesome musicians that he wants to focus on being the best vocalist he can be
  • His favorite Skyhill song is Run with the Hunted, and his least favorite is Only One
  • His favorite Rush song to play on the bass is Fountain of Lameneth (but it’s hard)
  • It’s pretty likely that there will eventually be a new Skyhill song or album
  • He first saw Rush in 1994 in NJ at the Brendan Byrne Arena. He’s seen them on every tour since.
  • He’s hoping that next year they’ll be able to tour in the UK, and he’d like to be able to tour in Australia too at some point
  • What influenced him most from Rush is their chord choices, their worth ethic, and their integrity.
  • If he could perform vocals on one song with Rush, it would probably be Time Stand Still
  • His best Rush-related experience was zoning out by himself as a kid and letting their music take his imagination places
  • His favorite Rush albums are A Farewell to Kings, Hemispheres, Caress of Steel, and 2112. His least favorite (though he still loves them!) are Hold your Fire, Counterparts, and Snakes and Arrows
  • The most direct way that Rush has affected him is that they helped inspire him to commit his life to music.
  • His top 3 songs are Xanadu, Hemispheres, and Fountain of Lameneth
  • He started listening to Rush at 13 and he became obsessed with them. He sang their music to himself all day during school.
  • When asked how many Rush shirts he has, his answer was “Too many!!”
  • A Farewell to Kings is his alltime favorite Rush album
  • What initially caused him to enjoy Rush was that it was an awesome sound that he’d never really heard before and lyrics that appealed to his nerdy Lord of the Rings loving self.
  • His favorite >10 minute Rush track is (possibly) Circumstances
  • “ I’m more Jewish by culture than by religion. I certainly believe that there’s a lot to life and the universe that we don’t understand, and I respect anyone who finds their answers in religion, but it’s never been a big part of my life personally.”
  •  His favorite Rush show to watch is one from Rio
  • The song he’s most proud of is 6969 because it’s a comedy prog song, which is something he’s always wanted to do.
  • His favorite part of 2112 is the overture
  • Hemispheres will always remind him of his freshman year of high school. He listened to it constantly.
  • Both him and Arin write the lyrics to Starbomb songs
  • He feels an immediate kinship with other Rush fans. “We’re like a world-wide secret club!”
  • The rush album he feels is most underrated is Presto
  • The first Rush song he listened to was Roll the Bones
  • He would be interested in giving talks about music/comedy/career stuff at colleges or high schools if there was an audience for it.
  • He got into Rush at age 12 because the guy that worked at his local comic book shop (named Keith) introduced him to them. “God bless that man.” Before he discovered them he listened to a lot of Def Leppard and Nirvana
  • Q:  if you were to start your career again today, where would you start? Youtube / twitch / podcasts?
A:  I don’t think I’d do anything differently because even the years of “failure” taught me a lot and allowed me time to improve. Once that spotlight is on you, you’d better be ready for it. I’d say start in the medium that inspires you individually the most and work as hard as you can on it from there.
  • Q:  how do you think the future of NSP has changed now that you guys have topped the motherfucking charts with Under the Covers?? You guys fucking rule and I’m so happy for you and your multitudes of success!
A:  Thank you! We were psyched that our recent albums have charted so well, but I don’t think we’ll do anything differently. We’ll just keep doing what feels right to the best of our ability!
  • 6969 came together quickly when writing it. The video only took so long because it was such a huge jump in ambition and it has a learning curve. “If we do something like that again, things should go a lot more smoothly!”
  • The Pass has helped him through some tough times.
  • (I believe) that the lyrics he’d get as a tattoo are “ All of us get lost in the darkness Dreamers learn to steer by the stars All of us do time in the gutter Dreamers learn to look at the cars!”
  • Q: What would you say is the best dish at Olive Garden?
A: The dish where you get up, walk across the street, and eat at Outback Steakhouse
  • He meditates in silence before a show because he’d get overhyped if he listened to music.
  • Doesn’t have a favorite member of Rush, “it’s an equilateral triangle”
  • Says Moving Pictures is usually a safe bet to start off with introducing someone to Rush
  • He picked Madrigal and Subdivisions for the first UTC because he loves them and they’re easy to sing. “I don’t know if I could hit some of those crazy high notes Geddy rocked in the 70s”
  • He thinks Witch Hunt would be a very good song to cover.  Such a great song and so relevant right now! “Quick to judge, quick to anger, slow to understand”
  • His favorite song to try and fail at on bass is YYZ
  • “ I don’t think there’s any conscious decision to have Rush influence my music, but I’ve spent so many thousands of hours listening to them, it’s inevitable that it just comes out naturally”
  •  His favorite album to work on in his career is what he’s doing now (UTC2 and Cool Patrol) because “we’ve grown so much and finally have a full band!”
  • He doesn’t mind when fans are super nervous to meet him. He was nervous when he met Rush, too, “so it’s just the circle of life!”
  • He chose bass because it was different and fun to find submelodies.
  • Q:  Hey Dan! I’m looking forward to Under the Covers 2. I started writing comedy music and NSP is one of my main inspirations. What do you wish you knew about writing comedy music earlier on in your career?
A:  Nothing in particular really. You learn and you go and there’s no substitute for just doing something over a long period of time. Of course there are things I would change about our early work, but it was the best we could do at the time so I have to be cool with it.
  • “I listened to so much of them [Rush] growing up that it’s in my blood and unconsciously shapes the way I approach music”
  • His second favorite album flops between Hemispheres, Caress of Steel, and 2112 on any given day
  • His favorite story/message told in a Rush song→ Story is Fountain of Lameneth because it’s a beautiful summary of life. Message is Spirit of Radio where they talk about the importance of integrity in art.
  • His biggest influences are Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Genesis, Nirvana, Spacehog, and Gentle Giant (to name a few)
  • He does his best on his Rickenbacker bass but it’s just for fun. “My band already has a bass player that’s better than I’ll ever be!”

“Thanks everyone! I have to go see my family now otherwise I’d stay longer. Sorry I couldn’t get to everyone’s questions but I had a lot of fun. I’d be happy to do this again in the future!
You being fans of mine means the world to me and I promise to keep making comedy and music for a long time! Thanks to you, the moderators who set this up, and of course Rush for being an awesome and inspirational force!”

I don’t know the ins and outs of it, but if you look at the trend of how many years are between each album then [new work from Taylor] does seem likely. But I think she is enjoying her time off - I don’t think there’s any rush. She has kept a very low profile, and the music will speak for itself.
—  Ed Sheeran on what’s next for Taylor in The Sun
Taken for Granted (pt 5)

As the days pass by, you seriously thought back to what Jin had told you. Was there a future in music for you? You did your fair share of research online, but you realized that nothing would beat real life experience in the music field. Simply looking up career details online wasn’t going to cut it. And to be honest, you didn’t have time to waste trying to find new careers. You wanted to find something that you were passionate about and quick.

But all of that would have to be put on hold though because you’re three months as a manager wasn’t up quite yet. You learned the love all the GOT7 boys, so you were thankful for the experience to get to know them through these three months. But each night, you hand was itching to play some instrument or write a bit of a new song so you couldn’t enjoy your job as a manager one bit.

However, you realized that the bts boys were making their comeback today and you couldn’t help but smile. You hadn’t seen them in person since you started the job and though you kept in touch through texting, you were excited to see the boys after what seemed like years.

As you sat there in the waiting room watching the boys get ready, you realized you still had to keep your job a priority. So as much as you wanted to go see the other boys in their waiting room, you stayed planted on the small couch in this waiting room.

Pretty soon, the boys were called out for their stage and before you knew it, their stage was over as well. When looking at the schedule, you saw the BTS was performing last and you sighed, realizing you could only see them once the music show was over.

Knowing there wasn’t much work needed to be done till the show was over, you stood on the side of the stage when bangtan was finally called to perform. Your eyes lit up when your eyes landed on the seven of them. Man had you missed them.

Namjoon and the rest of the boys were ushered to the stage as they were the last performance before the winner for the week was to be announced. He found out through one of the other boys that you were also on the set today, and his heart sped up knowing that you were in the same building as him after weeks and weeks.

Unfortunately, though, you hadn’t come to visit the boys yet and he was getting anxious to see you. It’s not like he could just text you and ask when you were coming. Hell, he hadn’t talked to you since that night you left him wondering.

As the boys got in formation on stage, Namjoon coincidentally turned and saw you standing on the side of the stage. You were standing where there was barely any light, but Namjoon had no doubt that it was you. He could make out from just your silhouette and he found himself smiling and losing himself in his thoughts. So lost, that he didn’t hear the music starting. While the boys moved around him, he stood still, just looking in your direction.

Thankfully for him, it was not a live stage. Some of the fans watching started to laugh, and it took a few seconds for Namjoon to realize what he had been doing. He immediately bowed towards the camera, apologizing. When he turned back to your direction, he realized you had left. Were you even there in the first place, or was he just hoping you were there?

The boys finished their stage and eventually, all the groups stood on stage, waiting for the MC’s to announce the winner. You sat in the waiting room, looking at the TV. Without a doubt, BTS had won first place, even though it was their first stage for their comeback. You weren’t even surprised. Sure, you were a little sad that your group hadn’t won but who were you kidding, you were excited for your friends.

Bangtan returned to their waiting room with the trophy in their hands and smiles plastered on their faces. “Wow, on our first stage,” Jimin said happily, staring at the trophy.

The boys all settled down on chairs across the room. Luckily, they had a few hours before their next schedule and took their time getting changed. Namjoon couldn’t help but frown when he realized the show was now over and you still hadn’t come by. He was at least hoping to run into you in the halls, but you were out of sight, nowhere to be found. He almost wanted to visit Jackson in an excuse to see you, but he followed the boys back to their room instead.

“I’m going to go and find Y/N” Jin said suddenly. Namjoon stared after Jin as he got up from his chair and walked towards the door. However, before  Jin made it very far, someone knocked on the door. Jin hurried to open the door. “Y/N! I was just about to go and find you!” Jin said rather loudly. With his big frame, Jin blocked you from Namjoon’s view completely. Namjoon tried to move every which direction in his chair to try and see you but he could only see the top of your head or your shoulders at best.

Pretty soon all the other boys were rushing to the door to greet their friend and what little Namjoon could see of you was completely blocked now. I should just go and say hi he thought to himself.

“Y/N how have you been?!” Tae exclaims, pulling you into a bear hug.

“Can’t….breathe….gonna….die….” you joke. Jin pulls Taehyung off immediately with a frown. “

“Yah, watch what you’re doing.  You’re going to squish her to death” he says, almost blocking the boys from touching you.

“You’re just jealous that you didn’t hug her yourself,” Taehyung says back, sticking his tongue out and trying to reach for you again.

You were so happy seeing the boys again. You had missed them dearly and to see them joking around with you as if no time as passed truly made your heart warm.

“Oppa, I think I can fend for myself,” you tell Jin, wrapping your arms around his own. It seemed like a natural thing to do, but  Jin turned around to you, flustered.

Namjoon watches silently from the distance, wondering how to approach you. You seemed to be having fun and had that wonderful smile on your face, but he was scared that if he came near you, that smile would disappear.

As you began catching up with the boys, you realized that Namjoon wasn’t there. Instead, you saw him sitting in front of his mirror, typing away on his phone. He really hates me, doesn’t he? You think to yourself. Over the last couple weeks, your learned to forgive Namjoon. Sure, he never apologized to you or had he even realized what he had done wrong. But you decided to let his mistakes go, along with your feelings for him. If he wanted to be friends, then you would gladly accept it, but you were no longer going to try and be apart of his life if he didn’t want you in it.

After chatting with the boys for another few minutes, you realized you had to get back to work. Though the time was short, you were so happy that you were able to see the boys. You realized that your schedules actually coincided quite a bit with the music shows, so you promised to see them more in the following weeks. Namjoon knew that you were going to leave soon and he wanted to so badly just say a few words to you, but he just couldn’t bring himself to do it.

As you got up to leave, the boys bid you farewell. But you didn’t want to leave things the way they were. You just couldn’t. So before you walked to the door to leave, you walked to Namjoon.

“Hey.. It’s been a while” you say slowly. Namjoon whips his head in your direction, surprised that you were talking to him.

“Y-yeah”, he says, not being able to piece together more than a word. “H-how have you been”, he asks. It seems so foreign to him, to be talking to you, let alone asking you anything.

“I’ve been alright. I really liked the album oppa, it was great. I’ll see you around I guess? Bye,” you say, not knowing what else to talk about. So before giving a chance for him to reply, you turn and began your walk to the exit of the room. You bid the boys goodbye again and walk back to your own room, proud of yourself of being strong enough to talk to Namjoon. You did try to get over your feelings for him, but you weren’t sure how you would react if you would talk to him again. Would those feelings just come rushing back? But much to your delight, you didn’t have the same feelings as you did months ago. You were finally over Kim Namjoon.

But meanwhile, Namjoon couldn’t help but feel sad. You used to have this…this…light in your eyes when you talked to him. Sure, he thought he never paid attention to you before, but it was obvious as day now that the light was no longer there. You looked at him like you did at everyone else, and it tore away at Namjoon slowly. Why then, did he not appreciate you before? Was it because he thought you would always be there? Clearly, you wouldn’t always be there for him like he wanted now. Namjoon couldn’t shake whatever it was that he was feeling, but he knew he had to try to change things.

You.

Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4

Albus and Gellert are in the library again, one hunched over a massive book, the other pouring over a wall pasted with various notes and articles that connect with one another in a way only the two young men could understand. Albus looks up from his book with contained frustration.

Sighing, he removes his glasses, tossing them aside onto the table, and rubs his temples. There is a sliver of daylight streaming through the dark curtains that cover the window, as always; and Albus gazes out at the clear, bright summers day for a moment, before deciding to break the silence.

Gellert doesn’t turn from his pondering stance, still looking at the book in his hands not paying much attention to the other man’s words. Albus waits a moment before his patience runs out.

Albus: Surely. Even if only to… clear our minds, if you will.

Gellert finally looks up from his findings, considering whether he should try to convince Albus to stay (something he found himself to be particularly good at) but then decides against it. After all his friend has a point. He takes some “light reading” with him as he follows Albus out of the house.

A master of the vernacular in her lyrics, on her recent albums Swift pioneered a new vocal approach that absorbs hip-hop’s cadences without overtly appropriating its vocabulary. Grounded in a rush of syllables that might be sung, spoken or fall somewhere in between, the Swift style is neither showy nor ponderous. It feels real, like gossip, or a lover’s spat, or the self-talk that fill an anxious person’s head. Expressing how love can be frustrating and humiliating even as it offers hope and stokes desire, Swift preserved her country-trained knack for storytelling and made it more complex, uncovering how rhythmic and other sonic elements can take songs even deeper into the woods of an unfolding emotional experience.

MANIA is going to by far be the longest time fob has ever spent recording an album as compared to tttyg (2 weeks, which they said was very rushed), futct (2 months), ioh (3 months, but pete talked about it in gray about how the record label wanted to get it out fast), fad (2 months, notoriously rushed as hell), srar (5 months, but they were finding their groove as a band again after the hiatus), abap (2 months, but they tried to get it out ASAP to get out of the studio because they had new kids and stuff)

and then U have MANIA.. which fob has been working on and off since the bloom tour last year.. which is like what? 15 months once its out in janurary 2018? wild. absolutely fuckin WILD dude and i am so soooo ridiculously stoked to see what fob’s gonna do with this one considering their REALLY reaaallly taking their time on it, more so than any other album theyve done before and by like a really drastic difference

Can you spot Misha Collins? (Hint: He may be in the picture, behind the camera, or still in the showers.)

This is what’s known as an “establishing shot.” It’s used to set the scene and tell you where the action is taking place. We’ve buried it several images into our album,  well after the location has been established, because we are innovators.

Not everyone knows this, but Hafnarbudir is a magical factory that dispenses cotton candy up into the Iceland sky early every morning. It melts by noon, though, so you have to get up pretty early if you want to get a proper sugar rush to start your day.

Though the Blue Lagoon is a wonder of the world and incredibly beautiful, we’re sorry to report it does smell a little bit like demon morning-breath. (Don’t ask us how we know.) #SulphurSpa

- Why Can’t It Be Like That , by @taggiecb : Louis Tomlinson, head of his local hospital’s charity fund, suddenly finds himself in the heart of the Royal family when his mother marries the third son of the reigning monarch. Such an upset in lifestyle brings a lot of changes for Louis, one of them being the need for a stylist. Enter Harry Styles, a cutting edge fashion stylist who loves his job and prides himself on his passion. The first time he sees Louis Tomlinson on the cover of a tabloid he wants to dress him, style him, make him as beautiful as Harry knows he could be. When he’s hired to do just that, he knows this will be a perfect partnership. That is, until he actually meets the man.A fashion AU with a royal twist, where Louis doesn’t need a stylist, Harry’s thrilled to have a real life Barbie doll, and they’re both very wrong about each other.

Larry Royal AU with a twist (93k, E) : Stylist Harry and newbie kind of Prince Louis, totally hate to love and angsty (meaning ammmmaaazing angry sex (bottom Louis) ) and miscommunication. read this !

- How Fast You Fall , by @fullonlarrie : They meet as transfer students at university orientation, and Louis wants Harry the first time he sees him. But Louis isn’t looking for a boyfriend. With school and work, he doesn’t have time for anything more than a casual hookup. When they become roommates, Louis decides it’s best not to pursue Harry and take the chance of messing up their living situation. They quickly become good friends and soon Louis realizes that his attraction is much more than just physical. However, because Harry has a plan to stay single and celibate until he graduates, Louis assumes that he doesn’t stand a chance, and tries everything he can think of to make himself forget about his feelings for Harry.

Larry Uni/Roomates/Friends to lovers AU (50k, E) : aaahhhhhhh this fic is awesome !! A lot of pining and sexual tension, and also an amazing plot twist I don’t want to spoil (but it’s linked to Love Actually). So fucking good ! (hot smut too, kind of share that)

- Looking Through You , by @allwaswell16 : Just as Louis and Liam were starting out in the music industry, writing and producing for up and coming artists, a fateful meeting with new pop singer Harry Styles changes everything. Four years later, just as Harry is set to embark on his next world tour, a drunken confession causes a rift between once inseparable friends. As Harry tries to make sense of his feelings for Louis, he begins writing his next album to express them as it may be the only way to break through the walls that Louis has built between them.

Larry BFF to lovers AU (41k, E) : my heeeeeart. My feeeels. Songwriter Louis and famous singer Harry, so much angst omg, it’(s amazing read this. (bottom Louis)

- Too good to be bad, by @latitta : “You’ll never guess who’s here,” Louis rushes out, knowing very well that this is not how it’s supposed to go. “Louis, we should focus on the mission.” “I know, but it’s Harry, Li.” Liam falters for a second. “Training camp, sexual awakening Harry?” Or: Two spies, one mission, zero things left in common between them.

Larry Spy AU (24k, E) : with a ex to lovers and hate to love plot, some sexual tension and high sex (bottom Harry).

- Have Me And Hold Me , by @letsjustsee :  His clumsy trips were now even more burdened by the sudden downpour. Twice he almost fell making his way back to the ceremony area, mostly due to his insistence on running across the lawn in between trips. The rain was relentless, coming at him from all angles with a deafening wind that muted everything outside of his own heavy breathing.
He felt like he was making pretty good headway, all things considered. His pace was stalled only momentarily when, on his tenth or so trip, he thought about what someone looking out the window at that moment would see. Louis in his formal shirt and trousers, barefoot, stomping through the muddy lawn to gracelessly lug two chairs at a time towards the building.
Or, a wedding day AU in which Louis will let nothing stand in the way of a perfect day - especially a little rain.

Larry established relationship and Wedding AU (6k, NR) : OMG i genuinely cried !! so fucking cute and fluffy, and not at all what I was thinking about ^^’

- Outside Is Just A Blur , by  daggerandtherose : Louis’ son might just be a technology genius as he has quite a knack for calling strangers up on Louis’ phone.  Repeatedly.

Larry single dad Louis (18k, NR) : fluffy and cute, with no smut :)

- Falling For Me Won’t Be A Mistake  , by @all-these-larrythings  ( Rearviewdreamer ): Harry is married to his job and so overworked that he doesn’t know how to stop. All it takes is a forced Hawaiian get-a-away, the warm tropical breeze of the island, and the most beautiful, elusive man he’s ever seen to make him remember what living is like outside of work. Well, that, and the little souvenir he accidentally takes home with him.

Larry mpreg AU (58k, M) : When Doctor Harry met Teacher Louis in vacation … It’s been a long time I haven’t read mpreg , but this one is really great !! barely angsty, fluffy and sweet :) (obviously Bottom Harry for the smut)

- The Melody You Never Heard , by @anylessreal ( bananasandboots ): It’s one last adventure. One last chance to be young and carefree. One final weekend before they take up their internships, their corporate positions, before they enter the real world, fresh out of university. Niall’s his best mate. Liam’s been there for him since they were lost, little freshmen, trying to find their ways through an overwhelming first year. Harry can’t disappoint them, even if it means enduring four days with Louis.  Louis, who he does share a history with, a history he’s never told anyone about, not even Niall, a history he hasn’t brought up in three years because it’s stupid and embarrassing and confusing. Or, the one where Harry gets roped into a four-day camping trip with the boy who kissed him and never called back.

Larry Camping AU (30k, E) : hate to love, full of banters and flirting and boys being bad at communication :D  (not top or bottom, but - great- smut)

“Gimme this!” You laughed, snatching Peter’s phone from his hands. Peter immediately yelled no, trying to get the device back in his hands but you easily fought him. He would never use his real strength around you, for the purpose of keeping his secret and for the fact that he could hurt you without even really meaning to. So, grabbing a hold of the phone you hopped off Peter’s bed, running to the other end of the room.

Your fingers repeatedly tapped against the screen of his phone, searching through as you giggled. “Y/N,” Peter whined, desperately. Though it sounded childish, inside his stomach turned, if you saw those videos… you could potentially find out his secret and he had worked at everything to keep that from you. “Give it back, please.”

“No can do.” You teased, shaking your finger back and forth. Your heart melted at the sight of the majority of his photos being of the two of you. You knew he liked to keep you close to him even when you weren’t around, but you didn’t know he cared for you this much. “Awe, Peter, you’re too sweet…” You trailed off, finding a video in the mix of his photo album. Biting your lip, you giggled; “ooh, what’s this? A video? A bunch actually.”

This seemed to gain Peter’s attention as he sprung up from the bed rushing over to you, but he reached you to late, peering over his phone to see the video vlogs he’d made already running. His heart fell and he went dead silent. Peter’s face grew a pale colour as the smile on your face eventually left, replaced by confusion and shock as the videos continued to play. Peter winced when he heard him screeching about how amazing the civil war battle had been, sighing.

This was it. His secret was out. But all Peter felt scared for now was your reaction, he had no doubt in his mind that you’d be mad he’d kept this kind of hug secret from you, his girlfriend. And that’s what scared him the most.

“You’re Spider-Man.” You whispered after the video ended, the small phone slipping from between your fingers. Peter didn’t even react to his phone being dropped, biting his lip as he stared fearfully at you for your reaction. Staring at nothing you nodded to yourself. “you are Spider-Man.” You repeated, making sure the words you were saying were true.

Peter raised his hands in surrender; “listen Y/N, i’m sorry. I wanted to tell you but I was scared-”

“Why are you apologizing?” You interrupted, staring at him with furrowed brows. Peter paused his ramblings, his hands falling beside him as he blinked, pressing his lips together. This was certainly not the reaction he’d expected. “I thought you’d be mad…”

“Mad?” You asked incredulously. “I’m not mad, this is cool! Coolest thing i’ve ever witnessed.”

“Cool?” Peter repeated, baffled. You smiled brightly, bouncing up to him, and grabbing ahold of him. Kissing him in the moment, you squeezed his arms in excitement. “You fight bad guys for a living, you shoot webs! Oh my gosh… this is so cool!”

Peter slowly processed your words, finding himself overjoyed at the fact that this couldn’t have gone better. It also helped that his girlfriend thought he was now like a hero. Smiling brightly at you, he laughed cockily; “I mean it is pretty cool.”

anonymous asked:

no other artist does listening parties like taylor and then they wonder why theres nothing but leaks about the album online right after it happened...meanwhile taylor does the secret sessions and if i remember correctly, besides fans saying how good 1989 was and different generic stuff like that, NOTHING leaked about the album. THATS how you do it

There’s this quote in the NPR interview Taylor did during 1989 promo that I absolutely love.

“Well, yeah. I like for them to be in situations where they feel they can be themselves. Places they can’t be themselves are when they’re being pushed up against a barricade and there are thousands of them outside of a talk show, and they’re trying to get a picture but they’re screaming and everybody’s freaking out. They can’t necessarily be themselves when they’re in these chaotic situations where fans usually find themselves. […] We spent four hours together each night, taking Polaroids and having a great time and giving them a chance to tell me their stories that they wanted to tell in their own time. Not being rushed. Not having to feel panic. And then they went back out into the world, and they kept those promises.”

And I think that’s exactly it. No rush. No panic. It’s personal. It’s intimate. It’s raw and honest, and I think that’s reflected in the one on one conversations she had with fans there, and what they were willing to open up about to her, and how she was willing to confide and engage back. It wasn’t just to hype an album. It was, “I’m here for you, I’ve been here for you, and you for me. So now I’m going to talk, and tell you my thoughts and feelings and about the last two years, both in words and in music, and you’re going to talk and tell me the same, and we’re both going to listen, and then we’re going to keep that between us as we go back out into the world.” It hit hard because it came after a really trying time for her, and a tough one for the fans too when we were doing everything we could to help her and sometimes she just felt really far away. But it worked, and just like she held the secrets of the people she met there, they kept hers too. Amazing. No one else could ever.

13 Reasons Why (Daveed x Reader)

Sooooooo this took me literally forever to write, but I’m happy with the way it turned out!! Lil shoutout to Becca ( @angeilca-s ) helping me with some of the reasons ;) feedback would be lovely, and enjoy!

Warnings: ANGST, swearing, it gets a little heated at one part but other than that I think it’s all good?

Words: 5447 (dang this took forever)

One - Constantly distracted

You mindlessly scraped the food around on your plate, your eyes glancing from the food up to your boyfriend, who obviously had something much more important than your three year anniversary on his phone.

“Babe, can you please put that away?” you hinted, glancing down at his phone when he looked up at you.

“Oh, yeah, mhm,” he nodded, sliding it into his back pocket and looking at you. That’s one of the many things that killed you, was the way he looked at you. No matter what you looked like, what you were doing, it didn’t matter. His chocolatey brown eyes bore into you like you put the stars in the sky and made the earth spin on its axis. You sighed and continued eating.

“Babygirl,” he strung out, letting the word slide right off his lips like music to your ears.

“Yes?” you responded, once again giving him your attention.

“I love you, I promise. So much,” he grinned, reaching over to take your hand. He rubbed his thumb across the back of your hand, something that you had always found calming.

“I love you too,” you replied, smiling back. It was a truly genuine smile. You couldn’t be more in love with the man sitting across from you.

The Little Café Down The Street - Niall Horan Imagine

He was never interested in dating at his age, he thought about it, seeing his bandmates around him getting lucky with the ladies, but he simply never was interested in it. Niall wanted to be successful in his career, he wanted to reach his goals, make his fans proud, and even better make his family proud, while enjoying the work he would take in, and at that moment he was doing it. He said to himself that he did not want any distractions in his life, he just released his third album with a world-touring band, hitting and exploring so many new places, and the last thing he needs on his mind is another person to take care of, honestly, he can’t even take care of himself, how he can for someone else.

He found himself in a rush to get out of the door that morning, he found that he could not think straight, he burnt his breakfast, he slept in and he almost fell asleep in the shower, it was not his lucky day. Niall could not handle it anymore, too many small mistakes that day, all he needed to do is get out, get breakfast and head for work, but all he needed at the moment was a long sleep. Therefore he grabbed the closet coat by the door, picked up his keys to his range rover, and finally walked out, locking his apartment door behind him, heading to the, hopefully, well day ahead of him.

On the way to the studio, he got a call telling him that the meeting was moved till after lunch, but too late now for him, he was stuck in traffic, in the busy streets of London, the day was not with him. His pale fingers tapped the steering wheel, while the other arm went behind his head, watching the car in front of him, while listening to crappy music on the radio. The time told him it was half past eight, rush hour, he groaned hitting his head back against the seat, he did not have the patience today for this, therefore, when traffic cleared on the right lane, he changed. He focused around him, but his eyes went and saw a small coffee shop on the corner of the busy London street, and with that, there was parking.

A NEW album from TAYLOR SWIFT will be released this year, predicts her BFF Ed. He says: “I don’t know the ins and outs of it but if you look at the trend of how many years are  between each album then it does seem likely. But I think she is enjoying her time off – I don’t think there’s any rush. She has kept a very low profile and the music will  speak for itself.”
