everything we did in arizona, to get out the vote, was destroyed because almost all independents who reregistered as democrats were booted off by a “computer glitch” and didn’t allow them to vote. not to mention the 3 to 6 hour (in the arizona heat) wait time just to fucking vote.
i want to cry, i want to scream, i want out of this fucking state, and this fucking country
we could’ve won arizona, but voter suppression fucked us over, and no one will do a damn thing about it cause those in charge are bought off in the first place
he wears the smell of blood and death like a perfume there is fire in his eyes and ice in his veins but you love him anyway for he is a star burning with the light of a thousand suns (and your world is dark without him) [x]
Mayu Tomita, a Japanese idol, was just stabbed more than 20 times in the neck and chest by a “FAN” because she returned the gifts he repeatedly sent to her and cut off contact with him. THIS is why crazy fans, like sasaengs need to be taken seriously. This man should have been restrained much earlier for harassing her online, she was WORRIED AND SCARED about this stalker prior to this event, why is it that officials never take any action? What they do, their disgusting behaviors, their warped sense of entitlement, their “harmless” comments can lead TO CRIMINAL ACTS. It’s about time people recognize these insane people as the criminals they are and not give them a chance to commit these crimes.
People need to start taking idol’s protection seriously. THEY ARE PEOPLE. In any other case, this would have been CLEAR HARASSMENT, the fact that they are celebrities makes NO DIFFERENCE. Countless of times, idols’ LIVES have been at risk, they have turned desperately to us and begged us to stop. Like when Chanyeol almost got into a car crash when dozens of cars chased after him in China and he was so shaken he wrote a message begging them to leave. Or when hundreds of people pushed and shoved Xiumin around like an object, following his bus, literally with a horde of motorcycles. Idols have been poisoned, pushed down stairs…Earlier this week Liu Yi Fei was assaulted and knocked to the ground by a “fan” and sustained head injuries. This IS SO WRONG. THEY ARE PEOPLE. TREAT THEM AS SUCH. THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIENDS, YOUR SOULMATE, OR ANY OTHER DELUSIONS YOU HAVE IN YOUR MIND, THEY DON’T OWE YOU ANYTHING.
This is extremely rude and unappreciative. Here’s the thing; Paramore aren’t putting on a show for one fan, they putting on a show for hundreds, thousands of them every night, and it’s a massive bonus that Paramore bring fans up to sing with them.
Just because you have been a fan for 10 years, see them 3 times a year & have been to 21 shows does not mean you are the most entitled person in that venue to go onstage. That’s not how it works. That also doesn’t make the person who got onstage a “bitch” for getting to sing with their idols. Everyone in that room most likely also wants to sing miz biz but you don’t see them causing a massive fuss over it & tweeting rude things at someone in the band, those people are happy for the person & just enjoy the music.
Hayley had nothing to apologise for, she did nothing wrong, but the fact that she said sorry twice just proves she is a really good person & you’re just trying to pick a fight because you’re bummed out you didn’t get picked. If you’re going to a show for the sole purpose of wanting to just sing with the band then maybe you should stay home, especially if you’re gonna react like this.
Being able to go to 21 Paramore shows is extremely lucky since a lot of people are now only just getting to see them once, some countries have to wait 2+ years for them to come back & a lot of people would love to be in your shoes, but yet you take that for granted & become very arrogant along with your boyfriend.
AND the number of shows you have been to does not determine how much better of a fan you are, how much more deserving you are. It doesn’t make you above everyone else. Every fan is equal, even if they haven’t seen the band yet.
Ps- Paramore are one of the few bands that like bringing fans onstage, like to give them a taste of what they experience, be thankful for that, even if it isn’t you on that stage.
