Could I get Pixel and Stephanie making Roboticus a haloween costume?

Sooooo this is my 100th prompt? Counting the sequels I have made for other prompts, it’s my 100th.

Thank you all so much for your ideas and support! None of these good good stories would exist without you! I appreciate every comment, every reblog, every tag. You’re all amazing! :D

Sportacus stared up at the frankly imposing robot. Roboticus stared unblinkingly down at him. On either side of Roboticus stood Pixel and Stephanie, both looking insanely proud of themselves.

“So,” Sportacus began, stepping away from his robot lookalike, “what did you do to him?”

“Well,” said Stephanie, “we were talking to Robbie about all the cool things he’s gotta have in his lair and he mentioned he still had Roboticus.”

Pixel cut in, “And I was talking about improvements that could be made and Stephanie pointed out Halloween was in a few weeks and we could improve Roboticus’ design while ALSO giving him a costume.”

“Only we couldn’t agree on what costume.”

“I said a character from Nebulous 6000 —”

“And I said an astronaut—”

“And I said a Transformer—”

Sportacus interrupted, “And you settled on… this?” He pointed at the robot.

Beaming Stephanie and Pixel both gestured at Roboticus, “A refrigerator!”

Tall as he was, Roboticus did not seem as intimidating as the last time Sportacus had seen him. His metal chest was covered in magnets of all shapes and colors. A few drawings and a fake report card were held up by a few of the magnets.

“Do you want some water?” Pixel asked with a grin.

“Sure?”

Pixel pulled a handle on Roboticus’ torso and half of him swung open. Inside were a few water bottles and some fruit. Pixel tossed Sportacus a bottle. It was ice cold.

Sportacus let his jaw hang open, “This is amazing!”

“WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HIM?!”

Marching up to the small group was Robbie. “I said you could dress him up! Not ruin him!” He ran his hands over the robot’s chest, a horrified look on his face. He aimed a piercing glare at Stephanie and Pixel.

“They were just having fun!” Sportacus said, stepping between Robbie and the kids. “It’s just for Halloween, Robbie.”

“They turned a powerful robot that almost outran YOU into a kitchen appliance!”

“Calm down—”

“I will not calm down! Do you know how long this will take to fix?! These brats can’t just—”

Before Robbie could rant any further, Sportacus had handed Stephanie his water and hoisted the other man into the air.

“PUT ME DOWN, SPORTALOOP.”

“You two did excellent work,” Sportacus said brightly to the kids, ignoring the squirming Robbie in his arms. The two high fived as Sportacus walked away, Robbie still bellowing insults. Roboticus picked up a magnet Robbie had knocked off and stuck in back onto his chest.

How does adhd affect you? If you don't mind me asking. My friend he adhd and I want to be there for him.

Pretty much in the ways you’d expect tbh–

  • Focusing on anything I’m not at-that-moment interested in is practically impossible.
  • ^Especially if it’s reading large paragraphs of text, even if I am interested in the topic that kinda focus is hard.
  • I have little to no perception of time 9 times outta 10.
  • Talking to authority figures or about myself generally is not a fun time due to RSD.
  • On focus again– on worse days I won’t be able to read/process the words I’m looking at on a page if someone’s talking in the room.
  • More recently, the nonverbal bouts I’ve mentioned due to brain overload for one reason or another.
  • My brain goes a mile a minute in a very roundabout and seemingly disconnected ways, so sometimes in conversation I’ll blurt out apparently totally unrelated things that I actually got to logically, just way too fast;
  • My memory is terrible - like, good lord.
  • It can be hard for me to focus on conversations / for people to get my attention if I see something interesting.
  • Sensory overload– personally I got it whenever I used to go to church, for example, ‘cause there were so many sounds and sights and smells and you have to stay still and quiet throughout it but my brain was just freaking out internally the whole time. But anywhere with a lot of sensory things going on can set it off.
  • Kind of sensory overload related (??)– sometimes my meter for conversation will hit rock bottom by the end of the day but somebody will still wanna talk and I’ll just be there flailing on the spot both physically and mentally ‘cause processing any more interactions just hurts.
  • Stimming: it’s not something I realize much until I think about it, but for example; personally, at work I feel weird without my lanyard cause I’m used to the weight of it and tend to play with the keychains on it or pop my nametag in my mouth while I’m walking around – idk it’s kind of a grounding thing – kinda like those totem things in Inception, haha.

there’s probably stuff I’ve forgotten tbh (like I said; memory problems, lmao) but that list looks long enough – all these things obviously differ in intensity from person to person, but hopefully that gives ya some insight on what might be up for if ever your pal seems a bit off at all

(Y’all feel free to reblog this too btw, might help spread some understanding)

Imagine this

Phantoms’ obsession is protecting. Or at least smthn like it right? What if the Joker had set up a elaborate not-quite-but-for-lack-ofa-better-word-trap and incapacitated the other JLA members somehow so only phantom could deal with it. It was basically trigger this and this guys dies now, or a good portion of the state would be dealt a very unhealty dose of joker gas. Imagine his moral dilemmas when he cant find a way to save both bc he cant send an intangible duplicate to save the one (probably important dude) for x reason. He had 2 minutes to choose and oh god he pressed the button he cant PROTECT the man now. He knows he saved countless lives too but HE killed that man. He couldn’t ProtECT HIm and o h Heca t e What d id H E do? -Nyx :)

Fuck off, I saw your comment on my post you reblogged of a good friend of mine wearing a native headdress. I myself have native american blood, part of my family is Choctaw Native American. I am also Jamaican & Cuban, though I look like I'm just a black female. So I bet if it were me wearing the headdress you would bash me too, thinking I'm mocking a culture when actually it's in my blood. Quite possibly hers too & many others. Shame on you. Culture is meant to be celebrated, not to divide!

Choctaw never wore those type of headdresses btw.

If you want to bring blood into it.

I’m the great grandson of Chief Whippoorwill signatory to treaty 1. Also the great grandson of Carries the Pipe from the former Pembina Chippewa, Basically Northern Plains Anishinabe….Along with several other Chiefs and headmen going back to before the reserve era. I’m also a Status Indian in Canada with ties to the White Earth in MN.

I’m the nephew of an Aunt and Uncle who were activists since the 1970s in groups like the American Indian Movement. I’ve been carrying on their more peaceful community work since 1998. (long haired me from the old days)

Super disrespectful to people like me who work to earn their feathers. If I've been working in the community for years and only have one (two technically) What gives you the right to talk down to actual ones who earn theirs?

So to recap.

You just told an actual northern plains native whose culture you’re disrespecting to fuck off.

You just told a native man who lives in an area where native women are going missing at such an alarming rate its brings national headlines to fuck off

You should told a urban native who has to put up with white people disrespecting his culture and mocked him on a monthly basis for his entire childhood/adulthood to fuck off.

So fine, I’ll fuck off. But I’m going to reblog this question every single month for a year (maybe 4 for each direction). If you have a problem just go to a pow wow and find some female Anishinabe pow wow dancers from my area and tell them how bad of a person I am to you. They will probably agree with me because they are the ones who put me up to this because of the threats they received for talking out.

That’s all I’m going to say about this..
