Ducktales, woo-oo !!

I freaking love the new serie! I liked the old one, I grew up with it, but I was always a bit sad that Donald was not part of the adventure. Donald is my favourite character from the Fab Five, and as a kid I loved reading his adventures, weither it was with Scrooge and the nephews in Carl Barks’s comics, or the comics published in Le Journal de Mickey about his everyday life.

I somehow was always touched by the fact he had to raise all by himself these three ducklings ! The new serie seems to focus a lot on it, and I won’t spoil it but the ending of the pilot was exciting and I can’t wait to see what it has in store for the Duck family!

Congrats to all the artists involved in the new serie, you did a fantastic job, and thank you for bringing the Ducktales back to old and new generations! Woo-oo!

on allura and the castleship

So like the show often stresses that Allura is needed in the castle to run it, since it’s linked up to her quintessence. Coran seems to be able to pilot it to an extent in a fix (like when Allura and Keith ran off in that pod), but it looks like the castle doesn’t have its full range of weapons and abilities without her. Including wormholing, which is like. A really big deal.

With Shiro likely to be gone from the team for at least a little while, we’re probably going to need someone to pilot one of the lions. But with all that about Allura and the castle in mind, the question is: can Allura actually pilot a lion at all?

It turns out we might actually already have an answer: it depends on Slav. Because the castleship’s probably going to get some sort of an upgrade next season.

Slav’s already shown shitting on the castle during his first scene in it, which is a fun hint of what could be coming. Allura and Coran have said it several times throughout the series: the castle’s old. Its technology is almost definitely outdated, if Slav’s complaints are any indication, and it breaks down often, to the point where it doing so is a major plot point in season 2. Compared to its Galra counterparts, which have 10000 years worth of technological advancement on their side, the castleship is probably the equivalent of bringing like. a pointy stick to a knife fight.

But now they have the means to update it.

In Regards To Red Paladin Lance

Lance rushes into the red illuminated cockpit in giddy excitement. He was full of nothing but pride and happiness as he feels the purr of Red resonate within his mind.

“I’m so glad you accepted me Red.” He smiled as he sat down into the pilot chair.

But of course cub, you have the potential even if for just the moment until I can have my paladin back.

“Of course, I love Blue too much to stay but I’m so happy I was worthy enough for you” He chuckles.

He sits there in silence as he lets Red walk through their new fresh bond. He feels sadden by the lack of Blue’s cool presences now lingering dully in the back of his mind. He finds comforting knowing this won’t be permanent but that doesn’t stop him from missing his favorite girl.

His thoughts are stopped by the soft warm feeling of Red. Right, he thought, let’s focus on the important situation right now.

Shiro is still missing and it was decided that Keith was to pilot Black since Shiro had said so. That had left Red needing a pilot and Allura and Keith had decided that the best bet would be Lance.

Lance was surprised and honored to be considered to pilot Red and even more elated when Red had accepted him with more than just the circumstance.

He was honored to be in this position as the Red Paladin. It’s the strong position, the awesome one. He’ll finally get all the fame and glory and attention that Keith gets….

“That’s right…” He looks down at the glowing red panel of alien controls as he speaks to Red. “Keith was your paladin first…”

At this point he’s talking more to himself than Red. “It’s just like the Garrison…”

“I’m just Keith’s replacement….”

“Again….”

And he fails to hear the concerning purrs from Red and the faint desperate pleas from Blue.

nina‪: We started out as fetuses. Now we are women. The trips, adventures, and laughter I have shared with these beautiful souls makes me tear with joy. I love them more than I could ever explain or begin to put into words. Each of these photos is from season 1. We were all so young, and SO excited about the new and exciting show we had booked. And even more excited that we got to be a part of it together. It felt like we had this awesome little secret, no one had seen Vampire Diaries yet. But we couldn’t wait to spill the beans, for the pilot to air so people could see it. We hoped so much that people would like it. Prayed that it would be a success and continue for many years. We got our wish. 8 seasons later, some are engaged, some married and some have fetuses of their own. These are incredible women and forces to be reckoned with. I’m so proud of you all. #FlowerPower #TVDForever

Once Upon a Time's Jennifer Morrison on Emma Swan's swan song

Warning: This story contains major spoilers from the season finale of Once Upon a Time. Read at your own risk!

The Savior made the ultimate sacrifice during the Once Upon a Time season finale.

After the new curse left Emma (Jennifer Morrison) with no memories in a Storybrooke run by the Black Fairy (Jaime Murray), the ABC fairy tale drama came full circle as Henry (Jared Gilmore) was forced to once again try to get Emma to believe. Her family and friends, meanwhile, were sent back to Fairy Tale Land, where all the realms began to crumble at the Savior’s lack of belief.

Though Gold (Robert Carlyle) ultimately killed the Black Fairy, breaking the curse, the Final Battle was not abated — the Black Fairy had ordered Gideon (Giles Matthey) to kill Emma, who refused to murder an innocent, thus she sacrificed herself. Fortunately, her son Henry’s kiss resurrected her, leading to what appears to be a happily ever after alongside her family as Morrison exits the drama after six seasons. (Read part 1 of our interview with Morrison here.)

“I’ve always wished for Emma’s happy ending,” Morrison tells EW. “As the woman who plays Emma — and even as a fan of the show — of course my heart’s desire is for Emma’s happy ending. I don’t think there was ever any part of me that was wishing for her death. I just always wanted to have an end to her story, at least in what we’ve seen so far, be something that was a fresh start, a new start for her, her facing life with new possibilities, with her walls down, with growth behind her.”

Unfortunately, our heroes are all missing in action sometime in the future, where — in a scene that echoes the pilot — an adult Henry’s (Andrew J. West) supposed daughter (Alison Fernandez) comes to him with a storybook, exclaiming Henry’s family needs his help. “I’m excited to see what this means,” Morrison says. “I love this idea that they’re rebooting it with the future Henry. I think that gives them a lot of room to do really fun things in the story line. The way that we jump around, and leap through time, and go between lands, it sets them up to have endless possibilities for the show to continue with really interesting and creative possibilities.”

While Morrison is exiting, Colin O’Donoghue will continue on with the show next season, as OUAT reframes around his character Hook, as well as Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Rumple (Robert Carlyle) — see who else is exiting here. While Morrison is slated to return for one episode next year, ostensibly her story will somehow continue on through Hook and adult Henry. “I have no idea how they’re planning on doing that,” Morrison says. “I don’t know what the pitch is for the one episode that I’m doing. I’ve always blindly had faith in them having great plans for those things, so I’m excited to see how they choose to set that up. I’m very happy for Colin continuing on the show, and I’m sure they’ll find a creative way to make it work.”

Part 13 of Lance Bonding w/ the Lions!!!!

Lance was on the verge of passing out. Him? The True Blue Paladin of Voltron? He was just a boy from Cuba! Lance felt Blue in his head, sending him reassurances. Lance then slowly felt Red, softly scolding him for his thoughts. He was special. Very special. Lance gently smiled and shook his head, still in disbelief. He turned his gaze to Allura.
“So, what does this even mean? I can talk to all of the Lions and hear them in my head?” Allura chuckled. “Not just that, Lance. Bonding with all the Lions gives you abilities to do so much more.”
“Such as…?”

Coran bounced forward in excitement, throwing an arm around Lance’s shoulder and with his other hand began to curl the end of his mustache in excitedly.
“Lance, there’s so much things you can do now! Along with talking and understanding all the Lions, you now are able to pilot them! Of course, that would be for emergencies only. Although you have bonded with them, they still love and cherish their chosen Paladins. And through your bond with the Lions, you can further understand the emotions of their pilots. When formed in Voltron, you will be able to sense the others emotions and thoughts. You become more connected with the team!”
Lance nodded his head, still disbelieving. “Th-that kinda makes sense. I started noticing that whenever we would form Voltron and fight a Galra fleet or whatever. I could feel so many emotions. I always just thought that it was me. I am a pretty emotional guy after all. I can understand that now, but Coran? I can pilot them? I-I could never-”
Coran patted his shoulder reassuringly.
“Lance my boy, there no need to fret. We all know that you would never try and take anyone’s place. The only reason why you would ever pilot the other Lions is that if there was an urgent emergency. Or if you and one of your teammates wanted to take a joyride.” He chuckled.
“So Lance could pilot Red? Even Black?” Keith sputtered.
Coran nodded his head. “Precisely!”

The team look at Lance in awe, who in return blushed and ducked his head, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck. Allura smiled at them, tucking a lock of hair behind her ear.
“But that isn’t the only thing that Lance is able to do. He has now unlocked an ability with Blue that is very precious and sacred.”
Pidge cocked her head, curious. “An ability? Like a hidden, secret ability? What is it?”
Allura clasped her hands together, excitement radiating from her.
“Lance can now communicate with the past Blue Paladins!”
The team whipped around, Lance chocking on his breath, sputtering.
“W-what?? How? Aren’t they all dead? Oh man, did I get like the Sixth Sense or some shit like that? I don’t have to perform a seance do I? Aliens I can do, but ghosts? Nu-uh count me out, I wish to live a long, exorcist-free life thank you.”
Allura gave him a pat on top of his head.
“Lance, I didn’t understand half of the words that came out of your mouth, but you won’t be contacting the dead. You see, every Lion holds the memories of their past Paladins. They are able to keep them alive to some extent. It works kind of like the astral plane. Lance can now enter Blue’s and be able to communicate with the past Blue Paladins, whether it be to ask for advice or just to talk about Blue.”
“That’s awesome!!” Pidge exclaimed, while Hunk murmured a quiet “That’s kinda creepy.” Lance brought his hands to the side of his head. “This is crazy. I’ve gone crazy, right? This is awesome. Crazy and freaky and unexpected, but awesome.”

Coran then approached and stood beside Allura, taking one of her hands and smiley gently at her.
“It is quite exciting, isn’t it? But that’s not the main reason why me and Allura are so ecstatic and hopeful.”
Shiro gently arched an eyebrow at them, leaning slightly forward. “What do you mean?”
Allura eyes shined as she gazed at Shiro. She then looked at her team, eyes ending on Lance. “You see, when a Lion chooses its True Paladin, it unlocks something within the team. It starts a chain reaction. When my people created the Lions, we created them in a way to where when one of the Lions chose their True pilot, the other Lions could then bond and find their True Paladin. We tried to create it to where if there was one True Paladin in the team, the other Paladins would be more able to become their respected Lions True Paladin. That way, Team Voltron would be at its peak. The ultimate power and defender in the universe. We always believed that a True Paladin would be Altean because we were the ones who created them, so we had given up hope. But now that Blue has chosen Lance, we now know that isn’t true. So, any species could be the True Paladin.”
Lance stared at her in wide disbelieving eyes along with the others. Keith slowly recovered. “So, what you mean is that since Lance became Blue’s True Paladin, he unlocked the potential for all of us to become our own Lions True Paladin?”
Coran danced in place excitedly.
“Precisely! But I warn you, it will be no easy task. It will be harder than ever to accomplish it. Your bond with your Lion must be unbreakable. You have to trust your Lion with all your being. And on top of that, you have to earn the trust and respect of your teammates’ Lions, just as Lance has done.”
Coran ended, smiling at Lance, eyes filled with pride. Hunk launched himself at Lance, scooping him up in a bear hug.
“Lance!! Dude, that is awesome! You’re awesome!! I’m so proud of my sweet precious blue child!!”
Shiro and Pidge laughed and Keith softly smiled at them while Lance chuckled and hugged him back. “Thanks buddy! But can you let me down now? I can’t breath and your starting to cry.”
Lance wheezed as Hunk sat him down with one final squeeze. After he regained his breath and tried to smooth out the wrinkles on the front of his shirt, he turned toward Allura.
“Princess, if it’s okay with you, I’d like to test out one of those abilities.”
He peered up at Blue, locking with her gaze and smiling.
“I’d like to talk to the past Blue Paladin.”

Let’s Hear It for the Pearl!

It’s a rainy day, but the sun is shining. Pearl Mackie’s smile has lit up my world! She was spectacular in her debut Doctor Who episode, The Pilot. She made me care about Bill Potts from her first scene. Before the episode was over, I knew I loved her and was ready to defend her to the end. Marvelous character and an absolutely brilliant portrayal! I’m even more excited about Series 10 after seeing episode 1! 😊

forest // twenty one pilots

one thing i love about twenty one pilots and their concerts is how much they constantly change it up. as someone who has been following this tour since the first show in may 2016, looking at pictures, watching videos, reading about people’s experiences; it’s so nice to go to the show myself and have unexpected moments. whether it’s playing mario kart on stage, singing a medley, changing up the set list, doing a different cover or having a drum battle, almost every show is different and it’s still exciting whether you’re the first show in the tour or one of the last.

I hope I don’t sound like a dirty klancer but I don’t think the fact that Red chose Lance is just because he “put the team first.” I don’t buy that. We all saw how protective Red is over Keith. I think Red saw Lance supporting Keith, saw this human who she knows usually doesn’t get along with her pilot finally get along with him, and knows she’ll need someone who will be Keith’s equal and his partner, and chooses Lance because she can tell that he’s going to be good for the pilot she loves so much. The black and red paladins have always had a special bond: if Alfor is the red paladin which is pretty much confirmed at this point, he and Zarkon were friends. Keith and Shiro were brothers. Now this leaves us with Lance and Keith. We have friends/enemies, family, that leaves us with friends and lovers. I don’t think this is proof for canon or romantic klance I’m actually betting the show ends platonically, I just think it’s kind of interesting and I’m excited to see what happens between the two.

EXCLUSIVE: 'Once Upon a Time' Bosses Break Down Our 5 Most Anticipated Songs from the Musical Episode!

Once Upon a Time’s musical episode is almost here!

For weeks, we’ve been teasing and tantalizing fans with details about the highly anticipated musical extravaganza that is headed to Storybrooke on Sunday, May 7 – and now it’s time to share the eight official song titles from the episode…

“Powerful Magic”
“The Queen Sings”
“Love Doesn’t Stand a Chance”
“Revenge Is Gonna Be Mine”
“Wicked Always Wins”
“Charmings vs. Evil Queen”
“Emma’s Theme”
“A Happy Beginning”

Once Upon a Time’s co-executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis confess to ET that bringing the musical episode to life from script to screen was a “really emotional” process for all involved.

“For us, we’ve been with them on this journey for 130-something episodes, so these moments where you’re doing something new, it’s exciting! It’s really why you do it,” Kitsis explains. “Every episode, you want to be you favorite episode and there was something magical about seeing these characters come to life and sing. And watching these actors getting to show off their talents that they normally don’t get to do, that was very inspiring for me and Adam and the rest of the writers and crew.”

To help get you even more excited for Sunday’s episode, entitled “A Song in Your Heart,” the Once showrunners are sharing exclusive scoop on our five most highly anticipated songs!

1. “A Happy Beginning”: “The inspiration was that we wanted this wedding to not just be about the two of them – it’s about this whole town,” Kitsis shares of Emma and Killian’s special moment. “How everyone is facing this together and how this family has come together. So for us, we wanted it start with [Emma and Hook singing,] but then stretch out to everybody because that is the core of the show.”

2. “Wicked Always Wins”: “It’s a solo for Zelena,” Horowitz reveals. “She is amazing and Rebecca [Mader] does a phenomenal job with that song. We don’t want to give away exactly what is going in it, but it’s all sort of pertaining to the stuff that is happening.”

“I would say that this is Zelena’s moment to shine,” Kitsis adds. “And she’s never been shy of the spotlight.”

3.“Powerful Magic”: “I think that what I love most about [Snow and Charming’s] duet is there is a very pilot feel to it in a sense,” Horowitz says. “[Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas] were so excited to do the musical that when you watch them do their duet – in fact, throughout the whole episode – their enthusiasm is like you can feel it. You see it on their face, and they’re so excited, and it really just makes them come alive. I don’t know how to describe it other than It’s the Snow and Charming you love the most.”

4. “The Queen Sings”: “This is going to be an Evil Queen song,” Kitsis confirms. “I think one of the goals for this episode was if you watch Once Upon a Time, you know that a Rumpelstiltskin episode is much different in tone than a Snow and Charming episode, and we wanted the songs to reflect the people who are singing them.”

Kitsis continues, “So, ‘Wicked Always Wins’ is a Zelena song and the Evil Queen song is very much a Regina song. For the tone, I think we say it’s kind of David Bowie meets Rocky Horror.”

5. “Emma’s Theme”: “Emma has a big solo,” Horowitz dishes before adding that Jennifer Morrison sounds “amazing” on the track. “It is a super emotional song that really – we hope – kind of expresses essence of the character and, in may ways, sums up her journey thus far.”
