this is cruel by the way

It’s unbelievable how can some people be so fucked up in the head
I cannot understand the concept of finding pleasure or fun in someone else’s pain
I just don’t??? How does that work

Pain is not fun, and you, bully, you know it
Why do you think that giving pain to someone else is nice?
I don’t care if it’s deserved, revenge, or whatever

Do not harm anyone, not even the most cruel person out there, there’s always a better way to fix the issue

If you find yourself getting pleasure from someone else’s pain, please consider therapy

no offense but i drove through the desert last night i carried the weight of our last fight elvis singing don’t be cruel and i wonder if you feel it too it’s like we’re going under somewhere outside the lonely esmeralda county line the question of my heart came to my mind if i go on with you by my side can it be the way it was when we met did you forget all about those golden nights

Top 3 HP characters and Top 3 super heroes??

complete with explanations

1. Remus Lupin: i connect so much with his character. when i read the books and watched the movies, he was just someone i really connected with and sympathised with. he’s scared of everything, in particular himself, but lets himself be loved. idk i just adore him. ////// Captain America: i love steve, he’s great he’s so lovely and kind and wants to help and is determined to help the little guy out. and his arms xo

2. Draco Malfoy: he has always held a special place in my heart. he’s a bully, he’s mean, cruel, fucks up but he redeems himself in ways. he was a boy forced into a life he didn’t want and instead of conforming to what voldemort/his family wanted, he never. he got out. i think draco’s character is one of the most intricate and interesting. ////// Daredevil: i love how flawed and imperfect matt’s character is, it makes for an interesting plot since you’re sympathising with the villain. matt’s great.

3. Fred Weasley: i love fred, i love him and george but fred was always my favourite and he’s great okay and i miss him. ////// spider-man: he’s just a dork and i love that

are there any alternatives to declawing? because cats can get stuck in carpeting/post and get hurt bad plus just wreck decor, but declawing is also bad so?

trimming a cat’s claws regularly, emory boards/scratching posts, and if in desperation you can buy those rubber claw caps!

another point i want to make–

i’m not a big langst fan, because i feel like a lot of it relies on vilifying the other members of the cast for the sake of making lance look less appreciated/loved. i know people have fun with it in fanfics, and all the more power to them (i mean this sincerely; i know there’s a push-back against langst, but i have nothing against it as long as it doesn’t seep into canon analysis), because fanfic is a free-for-all-playground, but it’s not my thing.

in terms of canon…

while we as an audience know that lance is super insecure, not everyone else does. you can say that pidge is mean for labeling lance as a “goofball”, since he internalizes this and starts to genuinely believe it–or you can realize that she meant it all in good fun and had zero intent to seriously hurt his feelings. assigning malice to her casual, playful insult isn’t really fair to her. she cares about lance a lot. remember when she completely changed her tune about leaving in season 1 because lance was hurt? remember when she screamed for lance in season 2 after he got hit at beta traz? remember that she specifically thought back to lance trying to befriend her at the garrison when saying that she wanted to be closer to her teammates?

the team likes lance as a person. they enjoy having him around. he’s their friend. it’s why they mess with him like this. do any of them look like they’re making fun of him because they dislike him? no.

hell, keith sincerely tried to cheer lance up by joking about him being bad at math! and it kind of worked!

now, does lance interpret a lot of this in the worst possible way because he’s insecure? absolutely. does this mean everyone else is to blame for how he feels? no. they simply don’t understand the extent of his issues. they’re fighting a war, as lance himself reminded keith; they don’t have the mental energy to devote to fussing over lance’s feelings all the time.

it’s complicated because you can’t blame lance for being insecure either; it’s all just a series of misunderstandings, really. if lance were to run off because he thinks he’s the unnecessary seventh wheel, i imagine they’d all be shocked and really upset

but blue?

blue has no such excuse. blue understands the situation perfectly. she knows exactly what lance is feeling. if anyone in the universe would know that lance is insecure, it would be blue. she can send ideas directly into his mind without any effort, and yet she chose to remain completely silent and shut him out instead. no explanation, no reassurance, no goodbye, nothing. she basically just slammed the door in his face and let him figure the rest out.

she knows exactly what kind of assumptions lance would make after being shut out. she knows that he feels like a seventh wheel even when he does have her support. she knows that he hinges his identity on her (”mrs. blue lion”). she knows that he’s very possessive of her (’we’re very happy together! very happy!”). she knows that he calls himself lancey-lance. hell, she can probably name every single member of lance’s family.

it’s no coincidence that blue finally responded to allura when she expressed self-doubt. that’s something that blue recognizes quite well since lance doubts himself so much.

it’s one thing for someone to be clueless about how lance feels and say something that accidentally upsets him–keith in particular, since he’s a “loner”–and it’s another entirely to be 100% aware and let him suffer anyway. she’s supposed to be his lion, his old girl, his best girl, but she left him out in the cold in such a pointlessly cruel (and dangerous, honestly, considering how much it delayed lance entering the battle) way.

this right here is canon langst, from the last source i would have thought of.

we’d better get a damn good explanation for her behavior in season 4.

desim42 said: Hey Cassie! Recently, I’ve noticed a lot of people who have read Lord of Shadows notice that Julian seems to be headed down a dark path, maybe even one similar to Malcolm. Despite his ruthlessness, I don’t want to believe he could be evil or cruel, I feel that even despite his at times ruthless heart, his heart is the most caring of all. What is your take on the subject of Julian’s ruthlessness and the limits he will cross when under difficult circumstances.

ontheroadtodisaster said: Hi Cassie !!!! I love your writing and it did change my outlook on the world. Are we going to see the dark side of Julian in Queen of Air and Darkness even more than we already did in the first two books and will it ever, under any circumstance be directed at Emma? And please assure me that QoAD will end in a nicely, wrapped up way and definately not with a cliffhanger . (I would love you even if it doesn’t :-) )

It’s hard to answer this question without entering Ye Olde Realm of Spoilers. I will tread carefully and say what I can.

My take on Julian and his ruthlessness is that when we meet him at twelve, he isn’t like that. He’s a pretty gentle and ordinary boy. We watch him change due to the incredible stress and trauma of the Dark War, and the first time I think we see him do something ruthless, or at least something that requires some real steel and emotionlessness, is when he kills his Endarkened father to save his siblings.

Having the care of those siblings for so many years and basically raising them has made him ruthless in the sense that he’ll do anything for them. And though he may be overprotective sometimes, he’s stood between them and the world to good effect for a long time. Without him, his siblings would have been split up and scattered to the winds. They would all be deeply unhappy and shattered to one extent or another, especially Ty.

So unfortunately what Jules has learned is that ruthlessness is effective: it protects the ones you love. And what he’s learned from his losses in Lord of Shadows is that he should be more ruthless … not less.

Absolutely Julian has a caring and loving heart. It’s just that the circle of those he loves and trusts is small and he’s very very careful about giving love or trust to those outside it. He’s very clear to Emma that the world is us versus them as far as he’s concerned because that’s what his experiences have taught him. Would he turn off every parabatai bond in the world to protect his siblings? Would he kill, and what would it cost him: would he only kill the guilty, or also the innocent?

Julian will definitely be faced with incredibly difficult choices. But keep in mind how his story differs from Malcolm's—Malcolm loved one person above all others, and in some ways isolated himself, even from his friends. Julian has never been able to do that. He’s too full of love for his family, for Emma, for Diana. He’s connected to his community in a way Malcolm wasn’t. Whatever paths Julian takes in the future, he has to reconcile those decisions with the love he has for his family and friends. Is Julian capable of cruelty and manipulation? Absolutely. But he’s also capable of great love and gentleness.

As for his ruthlessness being directed at Emma, he would never be violent or cruel to her or his family. It’s just not his nature, or the nature of his darkness.

QoAaD is a work in progress, so I can’t speak to specifics about the ways in which Julian’s ruthlessness comes out or how it affects the story. What I will tell you is that Julian uses some…unorthodox methods to deal with his emotional state.

Queen of Air and Darkness will wrap up the plot of TDA and be a satisfying end to the series. Some mysteries will be left unresolved and taken up again in the Wicked Powers, but TDA is written as a trilogy, and will be self contained as such.

It straight up hurts my soul that there are people out there blind to this woman's beauty.

So she has gray hair.   So fucking what.  Most of us out there are going to have it someday, and hell.  Some won’t even make it out of their 20’s without it.

Tell me something.  Does the color of your hair define who you are as a person?  Because it absolutely shouldn’t.  I’m sorry, but the very idea that it would is bullshit.

Melissa McBride, from all accounts, is a wonderfully genuine person.  She’s well loved by her peers, and she has this amazing talent that allows her to speak a thousand and one words without saying a word.  She’s creative and kind and a precious gift to The Walking Dead fandom.  Her portrayal of Carol Peletier has transcended genres and made people that would normally shun shows like TWD take notice.

And oh, yeah.  She has gray hair.

But you know what else she has?

A special sort of chemistry with her costar Norman Reedus.  A sparkly kind of something that is pretty rare on television because in the absence of unambiguous evidence of the true nature of their characters’ love (and it’s love, dammit…fight me), she’s drawn you in.  Admit it.  Even if you balk against the very idea of romantic love between Carol and Daryl, you cannot deny they are special to each other.

And why shouldn’t they love each other like that?

Oh, I forgot.  It’s the gray hair.  That somehow renders a person a used up has-been around these parts.  That negates any desire to have a loving emotional and yes, sexual connection with the person they are closest to in the entire post-Apocalyptic world.

Really people?

Melissa McBride and her character are fucking gorgeous, and you know why?  It comes from within.  Don’t get me wrong.  Both of them rock the gray hair like nobody’s business–I can only hope I do the same one day, and thanks to MMB, I’m not so afraid of it anymore, but even if they didn’t, I’d still look up to them for so many reasons that I won’t go into right now.

I’m not even going to address the absurdity that she’s somehow not a good match for Norman’s Daryl because she has gray hair and therefore, she must be old.  They’re literally the most age-appropriate couple in theory on the entire show besides maybe Carl and Enid.  They’re contemporaries.  And you know what? They look absolutely gorgeous together, but that’s not even the best part.  Their chemistry is a thing of beauty, and Carol’s and Daryl’s hearts?  Know each other.  They recognize each hard-earned beat.

So don’t come at me again with this ageism fuckery.  Because it makes me sad that the people in my fandom can be so shallow, for them and for this adorable lady who deserves nothing of this.

Look at her.

GoT S07E05 Thoughts

Fuck me.

This might have been my least favourite episode to date and we had Gendry!!! Okay, in all fairness, it wasn’t a bad episode. There was just one particular conflict that I am not looking forward to seeing continue.

And no, it’s not Jon3rys. I couldn’t give two shits about that right now.

But let’s begin, shall we?

For anyone who still believes Dany to be a good person, I honestly suggest going to an optometrist or retaking high school English because how much more obvious can this show get? I didn’t get to write down her full speech, but following this:

“I’m not here to murder…”

With this:

“Bend the knee and join me or refuse and die”

You’re kind of a hypocrite and a really obvious one at that. War is horrible, I get it, and good people do atrocious things in war, but that’s why we, as modern somewhat enlightened (although questionable) human beings, have war trials. People may die in war, as that is inevitable, but there are certain acts that no decent human should perform even in the midst of war.

I know I’m quoting Wikipedia here, but whatever:

Examples of war crimes include intentionally killing civilians or prisoners, torture, destroying civilian property, taking hostages, perfidy, rape, using child soldiers, pillaging, declaring that no quarter will be given, and serious violations of the principles of distinction and proportionality, such as strategic bombing of civilian populations.

Do you think a man as concerned with portraying war as a clusterfuck of morally grey characters would place an entitled figure with weapons of mass destruction which she uses indiscriminately, who commits war crimes, as the main protagonist? Do you think that is a good conclusion? And this is simply going by this episode and not the mess Dany made in previous seasons.

She had Randyll and Dickon Tarly as her prisoners. There was no need to execute them, or at least no need to execute both of them. If she wanted to make an example, she could do so with Randyll, but fine, let’s concede the fact it had to be done. She burned them. A slow, horrible, agonising death. She could have beheaded them, as was customary in Westeros, but no, she chose to burn them because you know why? She likes it. She’s done it before. Burning her enemies gives her great satisfaction of her power, but also it spreads fear into the hearts of everyone there because she knows it’s the only way to get them to submit.

If she allowed them the third option of becoming a prisoner of war, she knows they’d choose that over her. She even says so to Tyrion, because guess what? The people of Westeros doesn’t like or want Dany as their queen. Cersei may be a Grade A Bitch, but she’s the bitch they know. She doesn’t have dragons to burn those who defy her at her will. Yes, she’s powerful and could still easily execute people at a moment’s notice, but they’ve seen her humiliated and frightfully human when she was made to walk naked in shame through the streets of King’s Landing. She is human and she can fall. To them, Dany wields her power like a god and not the kind they worship out of love but out of fear. What kind of ruler is that?

And let’s talk about execution in general here. We’ve seen a lot of it over the seasons, and what we always come back to as a code of honour and true morality in this grey world is this quote from Mr Honour himself, Ned Stark:

“The man who passes the sentence should swing the sword. If you would take a man’s life, you owe it to him to look into his eyes and hear his final words. And if you cannot bear to do that, then perhaps the man does not deserve to die.”

Mr Honour Jr aka Jon Snow lives by this rule like a life motto. If he must sentence a man to die, he will swing the sword himself, and throughout the show, we’ve seen Jon do this and we’ve seen how this weighs upon him, though the culprits may be deserving. Yes, people die in war and Jon has killed on the battlefield for survival, but executing someone is a deliberate act. It’s taking the life of a human while they are powerless to stop you. Jon doesn’t take any pleasure in it.

But Dany… She’s executed people left, right and center. Burning them in the most unnecessarily cruel way because she can and because it instills fear. Feeding them to her dragons which is even worse. That’s not at her hand. That’s cowardly and sadistic.

You know who else rules through fear?

“The only way to keep your people loyal is to make certain they fear you more than they do the enemy.”

Cersei bloody Lannister.

Yeah, let that sink in. And let’s move on.

Jon meeting Drogon. I hated this scene, although I see how it’s important in establishing Jon as a Targaryen. I didn’t like it mostly because I was still reeling Drogon burning the Tarly’s alive, and yet right after, they have Jon bonding with Drogon like some special moment. But do you think Jon would even touch that dragon if he knew the horrors Dany had made Drogon do? Or the fact that she just executed Jon’s best friend’s family in the worst way possible? Yeah, Sam hated his father, but he didn’t hate his brother. And no matter what animosity there was between them, Sam is a good person and he would still be devastated by this. Not to mention we weren’t given all those Dickon scenes where the man acted with honour, kindness and bravery, just to dismiss him as another faceless enemy of Dany’s. He was Sam’s brother and so much like Sam in a way. I think that’s what made his death in spite only knowing him for 2 episodes so heartbreaking. Also, why this meeting between Jon and Drogon made me angry and disgusted.

Of course, it also establishes some Jon3rys bonding, although more so on Dany’s side. Let’s face it, the Dragon Queen wants familial Dragon D. Her heart eyes for Jon throughout this episode was at least 100x more convincing than previous episodes between them. Jon, on the other hand, has moments where he does seem to think Dany is alright, but I still don’t see the same level of affection on his end at all. As always, he has a one-track mind and that’s the war up North.

And I’m sorry but Dany’s attraction towards Jon seems to predicate on her notion that he’s as heroic and powerful as her. I get that he is and that’s a wonderful reason to fall in love with him, but it’s still falling in love with the idea of him and not who he is, because who Jon is, isn’t that person. He doesn’t want to be a hero or to be powerful. I know Show Jon doesn’t go into this, but Book Jon wants a family, to settle in Winterfell and live peacefully and honourably like his pseudo father. But Dany will never know that about him because she doesn’t know him. Take her asking Jon about whether he got a knife to the heart, the wonder and awe in her eyes as she asks him. She wants him to be just like her (or her delusional perception of herself as some kind of prophesised princess that was promised). Jon is who she thinks she is and she’s attracted to that, which is basically some Game of Thrones version of Narcissus. When she realises he’s a Targaryen, she’ll feel threatened more than relieved she’s not alone, because if she thinks he’s her then she’ll think he wants the Iron Throne and he’s a threat to her ambitions.

There’s a reason why after all that Gilly discovers the Rhaegar and Elia annulment (which btw is such bullshit but whatever). Jon has more right to the Iron Throne than she does.

What’s funny about this episode that even Dany’s Second Biggest Fan struggles to support her. Yes, he still will, but that entire conversation he has with Varys just sounds a lot like he’s trying to convince himself that ‘yes, all rulers burn their prisoners like a sadistic pyroqueen, and yes, Dany is so not like her father’. And the fact that her own loyal subjects are questioning her? Yeah, tell me again how she’s a hero.

Now onto the main reason why I hate this episode: StarkBowl. But oh ho, not Jon and Sansa StarkBowl but Sansa and Arya.

I’ve always loved Arya. She was my favourite character for so many seasons, until I fell madly in love with Sansa, although Arya remains in my Number 2 spot. But this episode, I felt such a burning anger towards her. After all they’ve been through, everything Sansa’s endured, Arya would still hold her accountable for the beliefs Sansa held as a young child. She’s changed and grown so much on account of her experiences yet she will not lend her own sister the same courtesy. It pisses me off because what Arya is doing (judging and accusing Sansa of things she didn’t do or for who she was when she was a child) is exactly what Anti-Sansa’s have been doing for years. And her own short-sighted, ignorant inability to grasp that this woman before her is not the same Sansa she once knew has now led her to being manipulated and conned by Littlefinger.

What I can only hope is that Sansa is smarter than Littlefinger. Bran wouldn’t give Arya the dagger if he foresaw Arya using it on Sansa. And I feel like it is so uncharacteristic of Arya, who has longed for so long to be reunited with her pack, to suddenly break down by childish prejudice at the first miscommunication. Sansa is far more cunning than anyone gives her credit for and I feel that this could all be a long orchestrated con on Littlefinger himself. Arya’s not that stupid. I refuse to believe she’s stupid enough to underestimate LF that way and let herself be manipulated so easily. I feel like perhaps that fight between Sansa and Arya was for LF’s benefit because it felt so contrived, so out of nowhere. I know this speculation is also heavily biased by my refusal to believe that the Starks would fight amongst themselves after all they went through, but I do believe that LF will die this season. It won’t be at Sansa’s hand but it will be because of Sansa’s machinations.

Now, onto Gendry!!!!!

The happiest part about this hell episode because fuck, he’s so hot still. That cropped hair, those muscles, that smile… Yeah, swoon. He’s also hilariously bullheaded (very like a Baratheon) when he ignores Davos, hits those soldiers with his hammer and immediately tells Jon who he is.

In fact, there was this instant spark of chemistry between Gendry and Jon in their first meeting.

“You’re a lot leaner.”

“You’re a lot shorter.”

The gentle ribbing of two strangers is adorable, but it also reminds me of Ned and Robert’s first scene together:

“Your Grace.”

"You’ve got fat.”

Now the parallels of Jon as Ned is nothing we haven’t seen before. Gendry as Robert is newer, and Jon and Gendry together as Ned and Robert is so satisfying to watch. It also makes me, a trash shipper, so happy because you know if Jon is being paralleled as Ned in this episode, you know who is being paralleled as Cat?

Yes, that’s right. Strong, confident Sansa, who was called only Lady Stark in the Great Hall meeting.

I know I’m crazy but I’m still not worried about Jonsa. That scene in the Great Hall just kept making me think of Sansa as Penelope. She’s there holding onto Winterfell for Jon’s return as he gallivants off on his many missions and overcomes his many trials. She’s there, always loyal and true to him, and maintains his kingdom for him

Boatbang may happen (likely), but Odysseus also slept with Calypso, before ultimately returning to his lady love. I believe the same will happen for Jonsa.

Also, who thinks Cersei’s not actually pregnant? I think she’s beginning to question Jaime’s loyalty and needs to firmly hold him in place. And I think when he finds out she’s not after all he’s done for, all the sinful things he did, it might make him plunge that sword into her heart prophecy-style. Or not a sword. I don’t know.

But that’s it for me. My head hurts. My heart hurts. And I maintain that I hate this episode because fuck StarkBowl. And fuck disrespecting Sansa like that

Peter locked his door behind him, being careful not to be too loud in case May woke up and heard him. It was a Friday night, so he could get by with two hours of sleep in the morning. Hopefully he’d be back before seven, when May normally woke up.

Glancing around the dark hallway, he pulled up his hood and started towards the window at the end. He eased it open before sticking his head through.

“Peter?”

“Ah – ow! What?” In his haste, he banged his head twice on the open window, turning around to come face to face with his good friend and (recently) crush, y/n.

Part two of my trc/tfc crossover extravaganza as requested by about 16 humans, this is going to be a trio, so wait for chapter 3 buddds

There’s a knock on the door two seconds before Ronan slits through the doorway shoulder first. Adam feels like the contents of a cardboard box, sliced and opened.

“I fucking hate this,” Ronan says, his whole presence bunched at the entrance, coiled. “Why do I feel like they have more secrets than we do?”

Adam shuffles his feet so he’s contained to one cushion, and Ronan sits down instantly, close enough that his waves eat Adam’s ripples.

“You wanted this.”

“I wanted to play exy.”

“You wanted all of us with you,” Adam adds. “You wanted to not be the most difficult person on a team. You wanted college to be easy and the games to be hard.”

Ronan looks at him closely, then kicks backward onto the couch, head on the far armrest, legs pushing at Adam’s so that they have to occupy some of the same space.

“I don’t need another gang of thugs to tell me what I have to be.”

“Kavinsky’s crew was—“

“I’m not talking about him,” Ronan says viciously. Adam eyes him, then looks at their legs, at Ronan’s hand, lax near his thigh.

“I think,” Adam says slowly, “that it’s too soon to tell.”

Ronan’s eyes are slitted blue when Adam looks down, peering past his own knees to meet his gaze.

“Yeah okay, diplomat. Tell me what you really think.”

Adam rolls his head back, flexing his hands to hear them crack, thinking of the way Neil and Andrew paired off and put their heads together, dark and light, speaking with gestures first, silences second, words last.

“I think that we’re trying to put two plugs together, and we don’t have any sockets.”

“Pretty,” Ronan snarks. Adam ignores him.

“They don’t trust us.”

“I don’t trust them,” Ronan replies easily, and takes Adam’s hand so he’ll stop cracking and wringing.

“I don’t think any of us would qualify for the foxes if we were—“

“Trustworthy?”

“Easy to understand,” Adam continues. “I’ve watched the tapes, Ronan. They’re still fractured at the best of times.”

“We’re stronger,” Ronan says quietly, playing with Adam’s fingers.

“We’re good together,” Adam agrees, and Ronan pulls him down on top of him. Adam falls, and enjoys the falling quite a lot, the way Ronan’s mouth changes when he’s close. “We haven’t always been.”

“That’s Gansey’s fault. He doesn’t know how to introduce people.”

“Meanwhile you made a great case for yourself,” Adam says sarcastically, grinning when Ronan does. “So personable.”

“Hey,” Ronan says, cupping Adam’s face with both hands and squeezing. “You wanna go see what we can do on this shit campus?”

“I want to get ahead on my readings, actually. My grades have to be better than my status, because PSU has zero prestige.”

Ronan rolls him into the back of the couch and kisses him fast, rubs a thumb over the sting on Adam’s lips. “No, you want to break into the court.”

“We have the keys.”

“You want to legally enter the court,” Ronan amends, pinching Adam’s side so that his ribcage cants up.

“Yeah,” Adam says after a moment. He thinks about the burnished wood of the court and the killing heft of a racquet. He pictures Ronan and Gansey next to him, crowing victory, the sweat and rush and pitch of the finite game, the deadline he can see and count on. Exy decks him and he hits back.

“Good,” Ronan says. “I want to put a dent in their fucking foxhole.”

_____

The lights are on when they get to the court at midnight, and Ronan lets the door fall closed hard behind them. There’s no movement, just miles of clean hallway and the hollow, lived-in feeling of a place that should be full.

They exchange looks, and walk steadily towards the heart of the building. They gear up quickly in the chill of the changing rooms, laughing at each other in their fiery oranges. Ronan musses the bandana from Adam’s hair.

They poke their way towards the court, and when they’re close enough, the screech and hammer of activity haunts the hallway.

“My bet’s on Day. He looks like he doesn’t sleep,” Ronan says, kicking the door open and catching it before it can swing back.

“That’s a pretty ironic insult, coming from you,” Adam says pointedly, and Ronan grumbles something about involuntary insomnia, but they’re already spilling out into the central court.

He regrets making it this far. He feels so blatantly redundant, a meal that’s mistakenly been delivered to a table of people who’ve already eaten.

  • Roadhog: (In a Junker bar, to Mei) I’m malicious, mean and scary, my sneer could curdle dairy, and violence-wise my hands are not the cleanest. But despite my evil look, and my temper and my HOOOOK, I’ve always yearned to be a concert pianist! (Begins playing the piano) Can’t you see me on the stage performing Mozart, tickling the ivories ‘til they gleam? Yep I’d rather be called deadly for my killer show tune medley! (Plays a run and then points to the audience) Thank you! ‘Cause way down deep inside, I’ve got a dream!
  • Junkers: He’s got a dream! He’s got a dream!
  • Roadhog: See, I ain’t as cruel and vicious as I seem! Though I do like breaking femurs, you can count me with the dreamers. Like everybody else I’ve got a dream!

Alright My Loves,

It’s time to have a very serious conversation that I’m sad to say I have found to be a necessary one to have. The Fander community has become a safe space to many people, and for the most part, justly so. Many of the people within this fandom suffer from a mental illness in some capacity, Thomas Sanders, as a person is all-inclusive and lifts up many of those who may have anxiety, depression, or some other form of mental disorder.

Unfortunately, a recent occurrence has come to my attention that strikes down the sense of family within the community that Thomas has led the way to create. I will say this, and I hope that all of you fully understand this message: It is never okay, for any reason, to tell a person to kill themselves. It is never okay to directly target a person with hate messages due to something that may or may not have been intentional based on which side of the contreversy you fall on. When you do, all of the sudden the safe space falls away from many people, and everyone deserves to have a place where they feel comfortable being themselves and where they won’t be attacked.

The event in question, is that someone within our community, whether intentional or not posted a GIF that belonged to someone else as their own. Since then, they have received appalling messages, telling them that they are a thief and should kill themself. Now, this was claimed to be an accident and I have no reason to not believe that claim. The thought that they have been so immensely targeted for something that may very well have been just an honest mistake is horrifying and if it is any one of you reading, I implore you to stop. This is unjust and cruel, there are much better and mature ways to go about handling this issue and sending hate proves nothing to anyone and fails to even defend the artist whom the GIF belongs to.

Please reblog this, spread this word and do not let our community be high-jacked in such a way, we are all human, we all make mistakes, and you never know what the person who receives your anonymous hate is going through. Do not stand for this immorality and childish behavior, we are better than that, as a human and as a person who is a part of the Fander community, please help to put an end to things such as this.

It had always been a horrible idea; the two of you like oil and water, but somehow still moth to flame. He was your strength, weakness, and necessity all at once.

You were both such complicated people; your relationship doomed from the start. All blazing fights that lasted hours until your vocal chords were raw and pained, both of you preferring death before surrender. Yet with touches so sweet that you could barely remember what you’d been fighting about to begin with.
