this is a weird trait

Quotes from Harry Styles’ Interview

Writing for his album

“I started the album end of Feb last year for about three weeks and then had to stop for about 5 months when I went to do a movie. I came back to it in July and finished writing it in December. For a while before all I thought about it was stressing about what it was going to be. It gave me a chance to completely step away from it for a bit and have a real break. By the end of the movie, because we were swimming so much I just wanted to write songs…I think we wrote about 70 songs - we did 50 songs and ideas in Jamaica and that’s including like little ideas. Well full songs, I say there are 30 songs probably. One of the songs on the album, I wrote a few years ago.”

On his album

“I was with the guys who I was writing it with and we just wanted to make what we wanted to listen to and that has been the most fun part for me about making the whole album. In the least weird way possible, it’s my favourite album to listen to at the moment… I hope we did a good job but I really like the album so I hope people like it. I think if you put out something that you don’t stand behind and really love, then if it doesn’t go well then you could regret not doing what you wanted to do. Whereas if nothing happens with it, I love it you know so I think that’s what you should do. I think that’s been my favourite part to the overall thing is listening to the album and making all the changes – it has been fun to watch over it all.”

Writing in Jamaica

“I just wanted to not be somewhere that I’d get distracted. It was 360 of writing, you’d go home for dinner, write at the house then go back to the studio. I liked being away from everything and doing it like that.”

About his debut single

“It’s a bit weird, I feel like I’ve been hibernating for so long now and you hear it in the safety of the studio and now it’s time to give birth … it’s the song (debut single) I’m most proud of writing.”

About making it on his own

“I’ve been hibernating trying to get it all ready, that’s been fun, but I like this bit as well. I think it’s gonna be fun, it’s gonna be good. It’s not like I’m travelling on my own now, I have a band and everything and they’re amazing.”

Ed Sheeran

“I played him (Sheeran) a few songs after the album was finished. He didn’t say that he didn’t like any, but he did like one song that isn’t on the album. So I did have a bit of a minute of like hmmm no but…”

On Adele

“I’ve spoken to her a little bit, she knows one of the guys that I wrote it with (his music) a lot. But I don’t think so much advice, I just like how she does stuff. I think she leads by example, she’s the biggest, she’s amazing, she’s the best so she should be the biggest. The thing with her is she’s a different thing, she’s just good at it, I like how she does everything, it looks very nice. For my 21st she gave me one of her albums 21 and said, ‘I did some pretty cool stuff when I was 21, good luck’ and I was like, 'geez’.”

On Dating

“I haven’t dated in a long time really because I went away to do the movie then did the album so I haven’t in a while. I have a couple of candles left still though.

Whether dating when famous is hard

“I don’t know, maybe. I feel like with all of the stuff how people date now, with all online stuff, I feel like you can do that (Google) with anyone really if you’re looking at someone’s profile before seeing them. It’s kinda the same… No, I used to (research dates), then I said I’m not going to do that anymore, it’s impossible to go in without a perception of someone and you’ve never met them and I started feeling like that was wrong and weird. I think I snore, and also I quite like routine, so I don’t know if I’m incredibly spontaneous.”

Cutting his hair for Dunkirk

“I felt very naked for a while. I was like yeah, I’ve gotta shave my hair off. It wasn’t a hard decision, it got made into a wig.”

Why he rarely tweets

“I don’t like saying something for the sake of it.”

Life at home and work

“The first time I went home not wearing trainers, I was in a pair of boots. Someone said, ‘What the bloody hell are they?’ I like to separate working and being at home with family.”

Staying grounded

“It’s easier in the way that I like to separate stuff from working and being at home with family and stuff. When you separate it it’s easier to see it for what it is. When you let it become everything and that’s your whole life, then it’s easy to get a bit lost in it. I’m lucky, I have amazing friends and my family’s amazing so I think they make it easier to keep the separation between the two which makes it easier for me.”

Being nervous about playing his music to others

“I think it’s nerve-racking in that I’ve only played it to like 10 people in a room. I try and not be there if I’m playing it…”

His mother and step-father’s reactions to the album

“I played the album to them the first time and there’s one song that’s got a vocal effect on it, the whole album finished then my stepdad said: ‘I’ve one question, where did you get the duck from, how did you get a duck in the studio?’ I was like: ‘That was me, thanks’. My Mum liked it which was handy. She cried a couple of times which was good, I think that was good.”

Musical Influences

“I think it’s hard to not have influencers from what you grew up listening on. I think everyone reacts differently to different types of music. I had a good range between my mum and dad… my dad listened to Fleetwood, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and Queen. My mum was like Norah Jones and Savage Garden. There are a lot of melodies there.”

Being starstruck by other celebrities

“I remember the first time we went to an awards show in the US, we met Will Smith. It was a brief meeting – he was nice and very tall.”

Addressing the rumour about getting a sheep placenta facial

“No I’ve never had a sheep placenta facial.”

Rumours about Hobama

“I’m not allowed to talk about that.”

Rumour on taking his dates on helicopter rides

“No I’ve never done that,” Harry says, with Grimmy responding: “Not even with Barack?”

“No,“ Harry says. “It was his helicopter, haha.”

Talking about Chris Martin

“He’s lovely isn’t he? He is good at telling you to take care of yourself. I think he makes sure you are alright and is very zen. I think he is a pretty wonderful man.”

On Ronnie Wood

“Big fan, I love Ronnie Wood – I think I met him at a dinner party a few years ago and went to a couple of Stones shows…I think he is the nicest.”

Interviewing Paul McCartney for his Another Man issue

“It was amazing – his voice sounds like a song.”

Loving scented candles

“I mean I think everyone loves scented candles. But I usually take one from home if I’m travelling.”

About sprouts being the new kale

“I went two days ago. I got some spinach, eggs, OJ, milk, turkey and some brussels sprouts. Hmm what else did I buy…oh some Crème Eggs. I like putting sprouts in a curry and I like sauteing them. I think they are going to be the new kale. I met [someone] and I asked her what she did and she said ‘I’m the PR lady for Kale’ and I was like ‘good job then.”

Talking about his four nipples

“Still got them, managed to keep them. Maybe I just hide them in limited edition albums, like golden tickets. I’ll hold onto them.”

Best trait

“Best trait I don’t know, it’s weird to pick your best, shall we go with the nipples thing.”

On where not to ask him for a selfie

“I think in toilets is the weirdest one. It’s happened a couple of times… When someone tries to shake your hand right after having a wee, ‘I might wash my hands first’.”

About Liam’s son and being a potential godfather

“I spoke to Liam and he’s loving it. He said it’s going really well and everyone’s great. So I’m very happy for him. I think it’s a roll of the dice, there are a lot of people Liam has in mind. I’m not going to add any extra pressure. If it came my way I would be honoured.”

What if opposable thumbs is strictly a human thing, even in space?

Interesting thought. You’d have to think about how other intelligent species would work. They’re intelligent enough for space travel (presumably), so how would their gadgets works. Would it be mostly buttons? How would thats stuff even get made? Even without opposable thumbs, they could still use something tentacle-like, similar to an octopus.

What if these tentacle aliens view humans as inferior because they actually have to wrap their appendage around the thing they want to pick up instead of just attaching a suction cup to it. Humans are also limited in that they can only pick up things with a certain circumference. Depending on how big an object is, the tentacle aliens can use more or less of their tentacle to pick it up.

Also, would these tentacle aliens write? One positive of opposable thumbs and human hands in general is having the unprecedented fine motor skills required for things like writing (and texting!) and picking up really, really, small things.

It’s a lot to think about. Super interesting. Wow.

Aliens reacting to human children losing their baby teeth and then their permanent teeth coming in. Maybe also being introduced to the concept of the Tooth Fairy and trying to figure out how that whole thing works?!

Most days Kadew could deal with human weirdness. He could handle the high levels of emotion, the contradicting traits of extreme survival skills and a complete lack of self preservation that many of the species had. So when his crew mate, Human-Tom, invited him to visit earth and experience his culture, Kadew had thought he could handle it and agreed.

It wasn’t the dangerous flora or fauna that sent him screaming from the planets surface.

Human-Tom had introduced Kadew to his son, Tiny-Human-Jon, who was no more than an infant. Kadew found the tiny pink creature repulsive, but he’d smiled and cooed about how cute the infant was for the sake of their interpersonal relationship. The baby took one look at the bright pink skin and luminous antennae, and erupted into a delighted fit of laughter. Everyone around grinned fondly, but Kadew’s pink skin shifted to a pale green.

Human-Tom cast a concerned glance to his crew mate. “You don’t look so good mate, what’s up?”

Kadew could barely bring himself to speak, but through no small amount of effort, he choked out, “someone appears to have removed your childs teeth, who would torture an infant?”

Kadew nearly fainted as Human-Tom started laughing.

He placed a comforting hand on Kadew’s shoulder hinge. “Jon is fine. There was no torture, he just hasn’t grown his baby teeth yet.”

Kadew blinked twice. “Baby…teeth?”

Human-Tom nodded easily. “Yeah, he’s just started teething.” Kadew offered only a blank stare in repsonse. Human-Tom ran a hand along the back of his neck. “Ok, well, humans are born with teeth. They first form when we’re babies, then when we’re prepubsescent they fall out and a re replaced with a permanent set.”

Kadew squealed in alarm. “Your teeth fall out??”

Another easy nod, as if it was the natural thing in the univrse. “For sure, we– hold on, Kelly just lost one, she’ll show you.”

Human-Tom’s daughter came at her fathers call, watching Kadew curiously. Human-Tom gestured her forward. “Wanna show him your gap?” Kadew’s skin pulsed blue in fear as the young female opened her mouth. A set of normal, gleaming white teeth occupied her mouth, just as others of her species and–

Kadew screeched at the gaping black hole where her two front teeth should have been, the gum bright red and inflammed.

Human-Kelly grinned. “I got six bucks from the tooth fairy for ‘em!” Her words were shapeless, her consonants drawn out and lispy.

“Tooth fairy?” Kadew was almost afraid to ask.

Human-kelly grinned again, clearly enjoying this. “The tiny winged being that gives us money for teeth while we sleep.”

Kadew fainted and vowed to never return to earth.

Do any other INTPs experience extreme second hand embarrassment but their own embarrassment isn’t a problem? With my own embarrassment I get over it with a simple “haha geez, THAT was embarrassing” or a “lmao dumbass” but when I see other people doing embarrassing acts I just can’t take it. I literally have the urge to run away. Sometimes I actually do. I’m genuinely curious if this is something other INTPs experience or if this is just some weird personality trait of mine.

Ok, women are not naturally nurturing and supportive. It’s a role we are pushed into and one we often adopt by necessity, but it’s not some ingrained trait we exist with.

Furthermore, you’re not weird or unnatural if you’re a woman who doesn’t possess those traits.

this entire album was legitimately a spiritual experience for me but this song is just. wow

I’ve always loved that kesha is so unapologetically weird, sensitive, dorky, and genuine because these are all traits I sense in myself but habitually squash down because the world doesn’t take kindly to them

fuck all that though, I’m operating on full alien mode now

Autistic trait??

Hey peeps!

I was wondering if any other autistic peeps often feel like we need to wait/ask permission to do things?

It’s something I do that really bothers me tbh.

Sometimes I just feel like I need to pause my life until I get permission to continue it.

Anyone else feel this way or???

Is there a name for it?

Is there a way to combat it?

So branching on my idea of purplebloods being more likely to develop mental/behavioral disorders

I think it would be the upper echelons of possible mutations

Like from pretty much jade and up psionic powers just don’t happen. Purple bloods however, are known to have a weird sequence where a few traits line up juuuust right and chucklevoodoos happen (this rare mutation being mimicked by Rage powers)

And so for every 1 sequence you get a million failures, resulting in anything from severe auditory hallucinations to overstimulation issues to bipolar disorders and back

Basically purple blood minds are a rubix cube and everything that isn’t a solved puzzle is a unique mental mess

And every caste has things like this, purplebloods are just filled with certain mental disorders comparatively

Rustbloods usually have clotting issues
Yellowbloods are most likely to have sensory issues (deafness, blindness, etc)
Teal and bluebloods are more likely to develop memory issues than others, etc
So on and so on

after 15.5 years of living and wondering why i can be so loud sometimes and quiet the other + considering the fact that my personality changes depending on who i am with, i realised im an ambivert

i realized MerMay is almost over so i had to do a quick revamp of my old mermaid oc, Pania

in my head, mers are like a weird combination of fish and mammal traits and behaviours. some resemble actual animals greatly, while others like Pania are a toss up of many features. all mers are natural mimics to some degree

Dear Younger Students,

I completed the last of my semester coursework yesterday and made an interesting observation that might assuage some of your worries.

I used to be a procrastinator. I was the kid who started their science project at 9pm the night before it was due. I was the kid who cranked out 20-page AP lit essays the day before it was due. I was the kid who did the reading for my next class in the class I was currently in. I was a hard core procrastinator until sometime during my MSc (around age 22-23).

Slowly, I started doing my work earlier. Studying earlier, reading earlier, drafting earlier. Then I started finishing a week early, getting classmates to proofread my work, and writing 2nd and 3rd drafts (I used to just turn in my first). At times when I would’ve blown off my work, I started to sit down for a couple of hours and hack away at it. Fast forward four years and I managed to get 2 critique papers, 2 presentations, a final draft of a mock dissertation proposal, a stats homework, and a stats paper asking a novel causal question all done within the past two weeks (when they were assigned), and I got them all completed early.

I’ve thought for a while how weird my transformation was. Procrastination felt like a pretty embedded psychological trait of mine, so how was I completing my work early during the hardest semester of my academic career?

1) Maturity. It’s worth recognizing that my 26-year-old brain is more developed than my 15-year-old brain or my 20-year-old brain. At those time points, my prefrontal cortex was still developing, so naturally I had less discipline than I do now. It’s also had a lot more practice regulating my behavior in a variety of settings.

2) Practice. People tend to cite perfectionism as a reason for procrastination, and I think that’s true, but I also think it comes down to practice. I’ve been doing academic work since I was a wee toddler, and I’ve been writing hefty (~20 page) academic pieces since high school (thank you Mr. H!). So after roughly 10 years of practice, I know how long it takes me to read information, synthesize an argument, draft it, and edit it. More to the point, it isn’t painful. It isn’t always fun, either, but the mechanics themselves are pretty fluid.

3) Enjoying the topic. Like most people, I do my best work when I like the topic. I was a procrastinator for years because I just didn’t enjoy spending that much time on the topics. I loved reading and debating ideas, but I didn’t like them so much that I wanted to write about them for days, especially when the prompt only wanted regurgitation and not unique thought. Only when I hit my MSc in Forensic Psychology did I think, “Yes, now this is REALLY cool.” Because they did want novel ideas and critical thinking. I did really well in that program because I didn’t just copy ideas and parrot them back; I took heaps of literature and gave them something new, or at least gave them nuance, and they loved it. I have enough practice now that I don’t need to enjoy the topic so much to perform at par, but I still do my best work when I do.

I’m addressing this to younger students so that you know that if you’re dissatisfied with your current study habits and discipline, you can change. And to some extent, if you’re in an environment that demands better habits and discipline, some of this change will occur naturally; be patient. Don’t get stuck in the mindset of “This is how I am and this is how I always will be.” Because it isn’t true. Keep practicing. You’ll get there.

I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned/told in the game since I haven’t done Damiens route yet if he’s been in a previous relationship or how Lucien came to be born.

I kind of like the idea Damien has always been a single parent. Figuring he’s trans he’d be worried if cis men or anyone in general would recognize him as male especially if he wanted to conceive a child himself. So before he decided to start T he went through invitro through a sperm donation. No other person to worry over, no risk of being in a relationship where he isn’t seen as the father, and to finally live his dream of being a parent.

After Lucien was born and began walking maybe, Damien started hrt. Lucien grew up watching his father almost grow along side him. Having all their firsts together: shaving, testosterone puberty, and the goth life growing full bloom as his father became happier in himself.

Lucien does mention his father hasn’t had an easy life, that’s because he’s watched his father become the man he is. Also that goth/punk aesthetic is an inherited trait. Biology is weird people.

Guys, @osote2011 and I came up with a DEH Beauty and the Beast au.

Connor is the Beast. His temper constantly gets the best of him, and he lashes out at people when they seem like they’re making fun or him. Connor just fits as the Beast so well, okay.

Evan is Belle. He feels like an outcast and an outsider in his village due to his anxiety. He isolates himself to avoid messing things up, and instead spends his time in the nearby forest, climbing trees and reading nature books.

Jared is Lumiere. He lives for attention; he loves showing off Connor’s castle and spends most of his time trying to hook Evan and Connor up to break the curse because being a candle is weird af.

Alana and Zoe each share traits of both Cogsworth and Ms. Potts. Alana is the brains of the trio, constantly trying to keep them on track and get them to stick to the plan. She also has a habit of bickering with Jared. However, she’s also the most tolerant of Connor’s attitude and treats him with the most kindness.

Zoe, on the other hand, does not put up with Connor’s shit. She tells him off when he’s being ridiculous, even if she’s a very breakable kettle and he is a giant beast. However, she takes to Evan very quickly and treats him with the most kindness. She doesn’t just see him as a way of becoming human again - she recognizes that he’s a scared kid and she does her best to help him adjust.

Heidi is obviously Maurice. She’s seen as a bit odd because she’s a single mother who works so hard to take care of her strange son.

Basically someone with time should write this because it works so well.

anonymous asked:

If you have time could you do the rfa+Saeran reaction if there MC acts kinda like a cat? Like she sits on counters and really random high places, she disappears out of nowhere, gets distracted easily by the smallest things? I always get told I'm like a cat when I do those things so I was wondering how the rfa would react

sorry this took so long I procrastinate a lot >_< this was a very cute request and I enjoyed writing it

Requests are open just incase you didn’t know ;)

- he thinks its super cute

- but he also finds it weird how he would turn around for 0.03 seconds and BAM you disappear

- honestly hates playing hide and go seek with you because he can never find you

- he dislikes when you disappear because one time he went to the refrigerator to get water and out of nowhere you walked up to him and whispered “meow” in his ear

- he screamed so loud you got a noise complaint

- seven never let him see the end of it after that

- he honestly thinks its a weird trait you have, but he loves you nonetheless

- he gets slightly annoyed when you just vanish and he can’t find you

- cause he’ll worry someone kidnapped you or that you possibly hurt yourself in anyway

- sometimes if you’re gone for too long, he’ll think you left him, or maybe you just don’t like him anymore

- he straight up tells you he doesn’t like when you do this so you try not to do it

- one time he came home and saw you sitting on the edge of the balcony to your apartment

- this poor boy seriously thought you were trying to commit suicide

- you have to calm him down and explain to him you just like sitting in really high places

- “Don’t do that ever again MC”

- this boy adores you even more when he found out about this specific trait you have

- he thinks its cute how you get distracted so easily

- sometimes he’ll be bored out of his mind and he could just look up at you and see you trying to swat away a fuzz ball in the air

- he lowkey treats you like a cat just to see a reaction

- like he made a laser pointer and started shining it around you when you were reading

- you jolted right up, dropped your book, and started looking for the source of the light

- when you heard the laughter you immediately knew it was seven and threw your book at the back of his head

- it was worth it tho

- he thinks its super adorable

- but he’s just worried you might fall down from the high places you like to sit on

- he gets scared you might fall off the rails when your on the roof looking on the stars

- but surprisingly you have pretty good balance and never fall down

- just as long as you don’t fall and hurt yourself, he’ll be okay with it

- claims you’re the only “cat” he’ll ever like

- he thinks its super unprofessional how you get distracted so easily

- he makes you go to the doctor to see if you have ADHD or something

- but as it turns out you don’t and its just apart  of your personality

- after a while he learns to accept it and finds its one of your “flaws” he grows to love

- he calls you “kitten” now

- you and Elizabeth get along well which unsurprisingly Jumin loves

- she hardly has a reaction to it actually

- other than “try to keep it professional in public MC”

- she’ probably used to you sitting on the counter while she makes coffee

- or you sitting on her desk while she does paper work for Jumin

- she has kicked you out of her office quite a few times for “distracting” her while she works

- but she always invites you back in because she feels guilty afterwards

S.Coups: Gryffindor. Seungcheol is a natural leader. He’s selfless, and would do all he can to make sure the people close to him are safe, even if that meant he had to sacrifice himself. He’s brave and courageous like a Gryffindor should be.

Jeonghan: Slytherin. Jeonghan is sneaky, sly, and can cheat his way through any situation if it would help him get what he wants. Although this can be seen as a villainous trait, it mostly just shows how cunning he is, how he can twist any situation so that it would benefit him.

Joshua: Hufflepuff. Hands down. The kindest, most humble, and modest of all houses. Jisoo is the type to do the right thing because it’s the right thing. He’s a kind person who never loses his temper, and he’s very hard-working as well.

Jun: Slytherin. Junhui is resourceful, and can adapt to new situations and environments, like Slytherins. He’s also very ambitious and motivated as we can see from his past awards and achievements. On top of being a martial artist, he can sing, dance and act as well. An accomplished hard-worker.

Hoshi: Gryffindor. Very out there and daring, Soonyoung belongs in the Gryffindor house. He’s the type to dive head-first into a situation without having a proper plan, but would instead choose to rely on his instincts and improvisation.

Wonwoo: Ravenclaw. Wonwoo is a Ravenclaw because he’s independent and unpredictable. He can work and train on his own, and come back with strong results. He isn’t one to express his emotions freely, so everyone is always surprised with his findings and observations.

Woozi: Slytherin. Could’ve been a Ravenclaw, but ended up being a Slytherin. Jihoon would work his hardest and do all he can to get what he wants, or where he wants to be. He can be a bit scary and sly sometimes, but he’s known mostly for his work ethic and ambition. An all-around hard-worker.

DK: Hufflepuff. Seokmin is kind and full of smiles, belonging in the kindest of houses. He’s a fair player, and always looks on the bright side of things. He never cheats or looks for the easy way out, preferring to work hard and get what he deserves fairly. He’s also the type to avoid conflict in case the problem spreads to those closest to him.

Mingyu: Ravenclaw. Mingyu is curious and perseverant, though he can be pretty weird sometimes. He works hard when he has a specific goal in mind, but it can be done in silly or unexpected ways. Despite this, he still gets the results he was aiming for.

The8: Hufflepuff. Minghao is a sweet and modest person who does his best in any challenge given to him. But while he’s known for being kind and friendly, like Hufflepuffs, he can be strong and vicious when anyone he cares about is threatened or hurt.

Seungkwan: Gryffindor. Seungkwan is one because of his daring and noble personality. He’s the type to do something because it’s morally good or the right thing to do even if it’s against the rules. He’s a strong believer of right and wrong. Sometimes too daring to the point of being reckless, a big Gryffindor trait.

Vernon: Ravenclaw. Ravenclaws are known to be creative and somewhat weird. Hansol can think of an alternative solution in a short period of time, which amazes anyone who learns of this. He also possesses a weird side to him, a known trait in the Ravenclaw house.

Dino: Gryffindor. Chan possesses the Gryffindor spirit with his high energy and charisma. He’s brave and good-natured, being able to get along with people much older than him. He isn’t afraid to intervene if the situation isn’t right, making his righteous personality shine through.

I seriously don’t know if this classifies as angst or crack but anyway here you go

Pairings: Moxiety, Prinxiety and Royality

Warnings: crying (?????), angst (?????)

“Logan, but it’s so… weird!” Patton whined, making the intellectual trait roll his eyes.

“It isn’t strange. You are made of emotions and… happiness and he’s just that, just a bit more dramatic” he said, but Patton was still pouting. “Have you ever told him you like him?”

“No! How can I? He… what if he doesn’t like me back?” he asked, biting his bottom lip, but Logan just rolled his eyes.

“I doubt he doesn’t”

“How would you know?!”

“I know patterns… Patton” he said and sighed. “There are a few signals people do when they are in love and he has done all of those towards you. Now can you please go to Roman and solve this once and for all?!”

“Provide me some explanatory exposition please” Patton begged, and Logan growled, putting his book down and snapping his fingers.

“Roman!” Patton squealed as he appeared in the royal’s room. He looked up from his sword, raising his eyebrow as the fatherly trait rushed to him, trembling from head to toe.

“What is the problem, Patton?”

“Spider. Where?” he asked, standing up and making paper appear in his hand. Patton whimpered and held his hand, sinking both to his own room and pointing to a corner.

Roman walked to the corner and hummed, making a disgusted face before he leaned down and shakily made the spider get on the paper before he rushed to the window and threw it away.

“O-oh my god thank you” Patton gasped and Roman smirked.

“No problem, Pat-wow” he gasped as Patton jumped on him, hugging him and quickly stepping back with a blush.

“How is that any helpful?” Patton asked, confused, and Logan sighed.

“It shows he’s willing to forget about his own fears for yours” he said, but the fatherly trait just rose an eyebrow. “Fine” he growled and clicked his fingers again.

“Wow…” Patton mumbled, grinning at the organized place. “You really cleaned this up”

“Well… had a few free hours from killing dragons so I decided to make your work easier” Roman winked and nodded. “Now you can rest”

“Thank you…” he said, contently, and Roman brushed it off.

“No problem, Patton”

“That was just him not being lazy like you and Virgil, Logan”

“Here. Have some flowers Patton”

“Oh Roman! They are beautiful! You shouldn’t have!”

“Just decoration”

“I’m going to kill you Patton.”

“You’re so cute”

“Patton you cutie”

“Oh my gosh too much cuteness in my eyes”

“That’s just Roman complimenting me in a friendly way” Patton insisted and Logan growled, nodding slowly.

“Okay then. He does not like you and nothing you ever do will make you end up in a successful relationship with Roman. Is that what you want?” he asked, angrily, and Patton pouted, his eyes tearing up.

“Why are you so mean?” he mumbled and Logan gasped, waving his arms around as Patton sunk down.

“I-I… Ugh!”

Patton sunk down to his room, rubbing his teary eyes as he sniffled, only to look around surprised, his eyes widening as he saw the place decorated with flowers, candles and confetti.

“Wow…” he mumbled through his tears, rubbing his nose and smiling shyly as he found a card. He followed its instructions, sitting down on the kitchen table, having only to wait a few seconds for Roman appear in front of him with dinner.

“Dinner… is served” he said, happily, and Patton’s heart skipped a jump, his eyes wide and shining as hopes went through the roof. So Logan had been right all along?! He really liked Patton?! “Have a great dinner”

Wait what?

“Patton?” he heard someone calling him, and Patton turned around, his eyes widening when he saw Virgil sitting in front of him, smiling shyly. “I asked Roman for his help doing this surprise. Did you like it?”

So… Roman… didn’t like him?

Virgil… liked him?

His heart broke in two, but he could see how nervous the dark trait was, and obviously that he wouldn’t… let him out of that. He wouldn’t say no to such a lovely dinner.

But he had been right.

Logan had been wrong.

Logan had been so wrong.

And us Roman listened to the silly, light hearted conversation coming from the kitchen, he couldn’t make himself sink out.

His heart broke to pieces every time Virgil laughed about a joke that wasn’t his own.

Why can’t he love me?

Because I was mean, I was rude to him, and Patton… Patton was always a sweetheart to Virgil.

So why would he like me?

Roman bit his lip to hold back the tears that threatened to fall.

He shouldn’t have believed on Logan.

He shouldn’t have believed on Logan.

Virgil let out loud sobs as he fell on his bed, pulling the blankets around himself.

Patton would never love him. How could he, when he had such an incredible, wonderful Prince Charming like Roman in his heart?

He shouldn’t have believed when Logan said he was showing romantic signs.

After such a lovely dinner, only to be denied a first goodnight kiss…

His sobs were loud enough to erase the voices in his head listing the reasons why he wasn’t good enough, but his heart was still breaking.

The world was so unfair.

“Why can’t he love me?!”

Logan blinked slowly in his room, looking up from his book as the phrase resonated in the mindpalace.

Frowning, he grabbed his papers, looking down at his cards and gasping at what he saw.

He was aromantic.

He just didn’t get the problem.

He lifted his book again, only for his eyes to widen when the three traits appeared in front of him, all of them with red, puffy, tearful eyes.

“Logan you-”

The three looked at each other and frowned before looking back down at Logan, who was trying to curl up behind his book.

“I have nothing to do with your complicated emotions, go figure yourselves out” he mumbled, a bit afraid of their possible reactions.

The screaming came anyway.

But hey.

He kinda deserved it.
