Even though I already told my honest feeling on yesterday’s showroom, I still couldn’t put my words together. I ended up not posting anything on G+, sorry for that.
I spent one day to think about what happened But the only word that came up to my mind was: “frustrating”
I can’t forgive myself for not being able to say what I wanted to say in last year sousenkyo and for not being able to do well despite of all the chances I’ve been given and seeing everyone saying “sorry” just makes my heart hurts more. I finally understand how painful sousenkyo is
There are a lot of things that I wanted to say on that stage, if I entered senbatsu. I can’t forgive myself because I keep saying that AKB is AKB, but I became the only person who dropped out from the senbatsu.
I’m really sorry
But you know, I feel really happy to be able to work hard with you guys. Please keep supporting me from now onwards.
I still don’t know how I should change my way of working hard (ganbarikata) But I will surely make this day to not be useless. And one day, I will say, “Because that day happened, I can be who I am today.” Please keep watching over me until that day come.
Even though I’m frustrated right now、 I believe that if I keep looking forward, everything is gonna be alright!
Yesterday was such an important day in my life😌 There is no way I would forget it.
I’m a very lazy person. I know my characters well, but every time I try to fill out a proper character sheet, I either get distracted or simply never finish them.
I made this! A silly, simple character sheet in which you only have to check boxes to get to know your dear puppet character. Use to your heart’s content, and if you’re going to repost, please credit! Enjoy~
I’ve been meaning to do a quick Jadzia Dax closet cosplay for a while now and I finally motivated myself to do it today! And since I’m going to be doing an Ezri cosplay soon, I wanted to test out making the spots too!
I have more pictures but these two I had the most Jadzia-esque facial expressions so I wanted to post them first!
Just so you’re all aware, that “there is no ethical consumption under capitalism” line isn’t supposed to mean “do whatever the fuck you want and don’t even try.” It was intended as an acknowledgement that capitalism is inherently flawed, but the response to that was supposed to be opposition and activism; not apathy. The amount of people I see using it as an excuse to continue to support harmful behaviour and practices is a joke. The communist theorists you stole this phrase from would be turning in their fucking graves if they could see how their thinking is being used by apathetic, lazy, pretentious edgelords in order to justify their continued support of the very systems those writers most vehemently opposed.
Jirou would absolutely do that “put the sleeping guy’s hand in water to see if he pees himself” thing to Kaminari
(he doesn’t, thankfully. Jirou is a little disappointed. Kaminari never finds out who did that to him)
Bakugou is not a morning person at all and the poor soul that tries to wake him up one day gets punched in the face. Bakugou is still asleep. he often kicks his blanket off in his sleep. is a very heavy sleeper
Iida sleeps in one position and one position only. the other kids try to move him into a different one one day and he will always go back into the position he was originally in. this fascinates the class.
Jirou sometimes plugs her earphones into her pillow when she feels scared at night, and listening to her heartbeat helps calms her down
Izuku mutters in his sleep. it’s just as disturbing as when he’s awake
Ochako chews on EVERYTHING b/c she’s used to starving herself to keep from eating and wasting money. some classmates have woken up to her chewing on their shirts/hair before.
Tokoyami sleeps with his covers over his head
Kouda sleeps with a nightlight. it’s bunny-shaped. he also sleeps with a stuffed animal.
Aoyama absolutely HAS to sleep with the covers on. even when it’s like 100 degrees he just can’t sleep without them on
Todoroki can’t sleep unless he’s on a tatami mat. but he is able to fall asleep when he’s near someone he’s comfortable with. this ends up causing some awkward situations with Izuku and Momo
Momo needs to sleep on super plush beds. she can sleep on lower-quality stuff, but she often tosses and turns and usually doesn’t sleep as well. she needs her cushy bed
Mina moves around a lot in her sleep and will accidentally punch or kick anyone close by. often kicks off her blankets
Sero prefers sleeping with thin blankets or without any. he doesn’t like feeling hot. has no fear and often sleeps with his feet hanging off the edge of the bed
Kaminari drools in his sleep. often. also snores. a hurricane could come and he still wouldn’t wake up.
Tooru is a cuddler and will cuddle against anyone who’s close by, regardless of who it is.
Tsuyu sleeps with 3 blankets on and curled up in a little happy froggy ball
Shouji sleeps with his limbs all splayed out and with a single blanket. prefers having a really big fluffy pillow
Kirishima both drools AND sometimes sleep punches people. will sometimes activate his quirk in his sleep and ruin his shirt
Satou is also a cuddler and always ends up hugging his pillow in his sleep
Ojiou sleeps with his tail wrapped around him like a cat and will curl up in a little ball. prefers sleeping with thin blankets. is a pretty light sleepr
061517 (◕‿◕✿) — hi friends!! this is my very first post on studyblr (bc I was too lazy to make an intro post just yet) ft. some random bujo doodles from yesterday since summer break = no schoolwork yee :) — + my studygram
A fellow student of mine wrote this when for my batch when we entered high school, and I thought I should share it with you ❤️ it’s been edited to make it more universal to you guys :D
Intro: Having the Courage to Study.
When we fail academically, we tend to point to two causes: stupidity and laziness. It’s so easy to say that we’re not smart enough, or that we just don’t want to try because it doesn’t really matter. But there’s another factor involved: fear. So many students have the strategy of not studying or not studying properly for an exam. Why? Because if you put low effort into something, then you should expect a low result. So many of us are afraid of trying and failing that we don’t even try. “What if my best isn’t good enough?” We’re afraid of giving our best because once we know our limits, we feel that much weaker. But life in school isn’t about not trying, it’s about accepting those limits and breaking them.To survive and ultimately thrive, you must have the courage to reach your full potential. That courage, that vigor, that strive to be better is what will keep you alive, not just in school but in the real world.
- Sleep and Eat well.
We often lose sleep or skip meals in order to survive the rigors of life. But keep in mind, those choices in the rest and nourishment you receive have consequences. Having the energy to focus throughout the day is vital. Nobody wants to be tired, nobody can afford to be sick.
- Pay Attention in Class.
There’s a difference between passive hearing and active listening. Letting the teacher’s words wash over you like a warm shower is NOT the same as paying attention. Teachers are human beings, capable of expressing emotion and emphasis in their words and actions. There’s a reason why you learn from them rather than from a book or the internet. Catching what they’re trying to say is a skill that takes effort to learn.
**The skill of listening is one of the most important ones to develop because a teacher’s words are your last resort in an examination. If a quiz catches you by surprise, your memory of the class is the difference between A+ and an F.
- Take USABLE Notes.
Normally, humans are not capable of memorizing lessons entirely in their head. That’s what notes are for. Keep in mind that notes should be USABLE, they are not things that you make for the sake of looking or feeling productive. Each person has a specific style of learning and their notes should reflect that. Notes that are too long/elaborate, too short/simple, unreadable, or illogical are detrimental. Good notes should be aids in studying, not justification for carrying notebooks.
- Save time by using abbreviations or acronyms.
- Rearrange/reconstruct words or phrases for convenience.
ex. Famous Authors of America –> Impt. American Authors.
- Avoid copying verbatim unless necessary (quotes).
- Write down examples, esp. in science/math related subjects.
- If notes are incomplete, supplement them via reliable sources or your teacher.
There is more to studying than reading/note-taking. Practice is essential. This is especially true for Math-related subjects. Reading your notes before a Math exam is not really going to help you understand the problem or protect you from careless mistakes. The only way to improve in the subject is by doing the exercises and learning from both your success and failure. Memorizing definitions isn’t as important as using them. Being able to analyze, compare, and contrast is vital to survival.
- Review a Little Bit, Regularly.
Slow and steady wins the race. Students tend to read a ton of material before an exam. However, the human mind requires time in order to fully grasp ideas and concepts. Taking 10-20 minutes to read your notes after school daily can help in memorizing lessons, understanding themes, and recalling important points. Taking every subject’s lessons day by day will prevent you from being overwhelmed.
- When reading through your notes, picture yourself in the classroom with your classmates and teacher. The human mind is like a web, connected by images and sounds. Doing so can help you recall things written on the board or things mentioned by the teacher.
- Learn to Plan and Cram.
Working for the long-term and rushing for the short-term are two opposing ends of the spectrum. But if you don’t master both, you will suffocate in requirements.Time and energy are limited resources and the best scholars know how to get the most out of them. You can’t expect to be able to plan assignments weeks or days in advance the same way you can’t expect to make “academic excellence” in 30 minutes or less like a pizza delivery service.
- Periodic Exams, Long Tests, and Projects REQUIRE planning and coordination.
- Teachers can take up to 5 minutes setting up. Exploit the time.
- Lunchbreak, and the 20 minute breaks are the normal “"cram periods”“.
- Don’t Think of Difficulty.
“Easy” and “Hard” are relative terms. They mean different things to different people and ultimately, they should mean nothing to you. Feeling scared of a “tough” exam is harmful, as is feeling smug about an “easy” one. Study well so you can approach every test with confidence. Remember: it’s just as possible to perfect a difficult test as it is to fail an easy one.
- Don’t Compare Yourself to Others.
The world has approx. 7 billion people. There are always going to be people who are better than you at a given skill, the same way that there will always be people who are worse. Don’t consider them. Your life is your battle, and you’re going to have to fight it for yourself. Being discouraged by your friends’ high scores is as illogical as being encouraged by their low scores. There’s no reason to be proud of 1/10, even if it’s the highest score in the whole class.
- Don’t Blame Teachers.
Not all of your teachers are going to be fair or good at their jobs, whether you like it or not. Regardless, you can’t control your teacher’s incompetence or harshness but you can control the effort you put into their class. Read in advance, find other of info sources, and predict their requirements. The odds may be against you, but as a student you’re expected to beat them.
There’s no shame in asking for help. If you have difficulty in a subject, it always helps to consult with a teacher. Not only does it help in resolving any misconceptions/mistakes, it shows that you’re willing to take the time and effort to do well. To most teachers, that spirit is just as important as the final grade. Note: if a teacher knows that you have difficulty in their subject, they’ll probably take note of it in class which may be to your benefit.
- Find Your Own Strategy/Work Smart.
No single study strategy works universally. Everyone has their own specific style of learning and it’s up to you to find yours. If skimming through readings works for you then go ahead. If you’re the kind that needs to take notes, fine. It’s all about working both hard and smart, giving the most energy but finding the most effective way of using it. Humans are creative creatures. You might find that the best solution is one that no one has thought of before.
- Be Liable.
You need to be proactive in academics. Many students have the tendency to be caught off guard by a surprise quiz. They’ll often argue with the teacher, using the retort “Ma'am, you didn’t announce it!” as an excuse. Shaking off responsibility through ignorance is suicidal in this school. If you’re willing to take the risk of coming to class unprepared for the sake of being lazy, go ahead. Just be prepared for the consequences of your actions.
- Keep Moving Forward. You’re human. Humans make mistakes. Learn from your errors but leave them where they belong; in the past. Everyone wants to get an A+ but you’ll never go that far with the weight of your failure hanging over your shoulder.
Conclusion: Don’t Take Academics too Seriously.
It seems counter-intuitive to end this guide with a statement like “Don’t Take Academics Too Seriously” but it’s something that everyone should remember. No matter no hard you try, you will fail at something. You’ll reach an obstacle that will knock you down to the ground and it will hurt like hell. You need to have something to fall back; friends, family, a hobby, an interest, etc. You don’t want to graduate and realize that you’re only good at earning numbers in a system. You could graduate this high school with the highest average in history but it won’t matter to anyone if you don’t know how you got it. Life is just like math, it’s not all
about the final answer. Your solution is just as important.
**Ultimately, your success as a scholar isn’t measured by a number on a piece of paper but in the difference you make in people’s lives. We’re not going to carry facts and theorems with us, but an attitude of trying to give our best no matter what the cost. That’s the most important lesson you can ever learn in school, but you’re not going to learn it from one subject or teacher. You’re going to live it everyday through every requirement and every grade receive.
i slept through all of yesterday so i didn’t get to post day 8′s drawing :(( anyway here’s sophie, a character i really need to draw more of
i don’t think i’ve ever described her here before she’s a succubus, but she’s also incredibly lazy, very aloof, and almost entirely socially inept she likes burlesque theatre and modern history and hot dogs she likes hot dogs very much

First off, a little context. You can skip this if you want.
So Chris from GetLazy recently posted a few very interesting pictures he had taken from the design documents that were made around 2001. Some of you might have already seen this, but since I assume that not everyone here on tumblr is active on GetLazy (me neither honestly) I decided to make a post about it for everyone to see. So as the title might suggest, the documents hold quite a bit of information about LazyTown prior to the TV series. Unfortunately however, we can’t see the whole thing. He was only able to make a few blurry and shaky pictures, but, trust me, it’s still worth reading.
I also decided to make a few notes in case it’s too hard for you to see or if you’re too lazy to read it yourself or whatever. If you can catch more information than I wrote down feel free to add. I also left out information that is already common knowledge.
For this one, I didn’t make notes but I will quote directly from what Chris remembers reading, as it is much more informative. But I will still post the pictures.
So, as an abandoned and unnamed child, Sportacus worked in mines under a
man named Mr. Kicker. Since none of the kids in the mines had names,
Kicker referred to the kids by numbers.. Sportacus being number 10.
There wasn’t much fun to be had under the mines, so the kids spent a lot
of time learning lots of different kinds of sports. At some point
during mining, number 10 accidentally found a strange crystal that shone
whenever someone was being hurt, and he kept it. After years of abuse,
number 10 finally decided to revolt. In secret, he built a hot air
balloon powered by pedals and one day, he flew it out of the mountain,
taking some kids with him. Soon after, he came back and dropped down a
ladder and started rescuing other kids. He eventually rescued all of the
kids from Mr. Kicker, and was even able to take Kicker’s spyglass from
him before leaving the mines forever. Also, the mustache comes from
rubbing his face with coaly hands.
- “his mother is a very busy nutritionalist” - his parents love him immensly - but they are not very strict with what he eats - I think it might be because his mother didn’t have candy when she was young and doesn’t want to take it from him as well
- forgetful and easily distracted - which “should not be confused with stupidity” - makes sure everyone feels included - from a very warm and loving family - her father is an elementary scool teacher and her mother an ornithologist - “they are frugal but not cheap”
Stingy/Nenni (Honestly I couldn’t find much new information here, but you can look at it yourself of course)
- demands and sues money from everyone - “lives in the biggest, most decadent villa in LazyTown” - “Mr. Spoilero”
- “he may seem stupid, but” - saves the day when Sportacus isn’t there - “a hero who has no interest in being one” - lives with his mother in a very narrow building - his room is dirty and messy
- “She is completely uninterested in her outward appearance” - new in town - “her family has moved quite a lot” - lives in a trailer - parents work very hard so they can buy a house - which is why she has to fend for herself most of the time - has two older brothers - they’re not very nice to her from what I can tell - “her best friends are her books”
Pixel/PC/Goggi (this text is hard to figure out I’m sorry)
- his parents own the local TV and radio shop and are also very busy - “… monitor instead of his own mother” - “Crying violently whenever…” - communicates with his parents through the intercom or e-mail - “…his inability to speak normally”
- “would challenge anyone who said a bad word about her” (just curious who “her” is) - his father was a prominent politician and his mother a compulsive gambler - has younger siblings - went to a private school - was very active in both the drama and chess club - was kicked out of chess club for cheating in the championship - not sure but I think it says that he stole his catsuit from a play in drama club, ran off with it and disappeared for years - when he returned he has become a skilled con-artist
- good friends with the mayor - they’re compared to Laurel & Hardy and their friendship dates back to high school - which is literally the only reason he is employed as a police officer - doesn’t have his own home but instead stays in his office in case something happens at night - the kids call him “Officer OB” and he thinks it’s fucking disrespectful - is the youngest of nine (!) brothers who ALL joined the “SFLC, Special Forces for the Leader of Country” except him - he tried to join 18 times but was never accepted - good at sports though - caught Robbie cheating in the chess championship
- really doesn’t like Sportacus - silently helps Robbie but doesn’t want to make it known - has sisters or something - used to take pride in waking up every morning until he discovered that being lazy is much more fun - left the farm he used to reside to find the laziest place on earth so he could be lazy in peace - is now the laziest inhabitant of all LazyTown
