this is a good ending point though

I honestly think relationships in general would be healthier, in general, if we didn’t believe they should last forever.

When the default is “forever” and shorter relationships are seen as a failure, we miss out on a lot. We stay in relationships that don’t work because they’re not “bad enough” to leave, as though not wanting the relationship anymore isn’t a good enough reason. We deny ourselves happy memories, saying “If it doesn’t work now, our love then wasn’t real.” We pass on relationships we know would be short, because if it doesn’t last forever, what’s the point in joy in the moment?

An ending isn’t a failure. It’s an ending. Most relationships have them. What would our relationships be like if we stopped focusing on our fear of endings and started focusing on what we - and our friends, partners, and family - need right now?

My Reward System

Okay. So. Whether you’re a little without a CG or a CG who has no idea how to care for a little, odds are you’ve at some point had trouble figuring out a point system that works! This is the one I used when I was a little and may use again when I find a little!

There are a few categories. Each category allows you to earn a certain number of points.

Sleeping:
8+ hours = 10 points
7-6 hours = 8 points
5 hours = 5 points
4 hours = 2 points
-4 = 0 points

Eating: (Note: To be considered a meal there has to be some sort of veggie, grain, and protein!)
Ate 3 meals = 10 points
Ate 2 meals = 5 points
Ate 1 meal = 2 points

Drinking Water
8 glasses = 10 points
7-6 glasses = 8 points
5 glasses = 5 points
4 glasses = 2 points
-4 glasses = 1 point
0 glasses = 0 points

Other: (This category should be tailored to fit you individually! I’ll include mine as an example though.)
Did homework = 8 points
Room was clean at the end of the day = 5 points
Showered = 1 point
Washed face twice = 3 points
Brushed teeth twice = 3 points
Exercised or danced = 3 points
Read a chapter of a book = 1 point per chapter

You’re supposed to aim for a certain number of points a day. Like, 30 points is good, but 40 points is great! If you reach that, you can cash it in for small treats, or you can go the extra mile and get 250-300 points total for the week!

Rewards:
Extra desert = 40 points
Pack of stickers = 40 points
New stuffie = 100 points
New coloring book = 100 points
New onsie/diaper/binkie= 300 points

The points for the rewards are set really high so that rewards still feel special, and you don’t have to break the bank, haha.

I hope this helps someone out there! Best wishes!

isak and even are totally those high school sweethearts who everyone hates. someone’s like, “no one ever actually meets the love of their life in high school.” oh wait there’s evak walking their dog at the park with even’s hand casually slipped into the back pocket of isak’s jeans, and everyone knows that he’s grabbing isak’s ass through the denim. someone else complains that there’s no such thing as soulmates, that you just end up settling for someone you can stand. but look, there’s evak, still making out everywhere they go like they’re horny teenagers who’ve just made their relationship status official. one person points out that most couples who get married young just end up getting divorced, but evak is at it once again, holding each other’s hands reverently just to gaze at their weddings rings even though they got back from their honeymoon a good month ago.

fuck them, honestly.

Homestuck Meta Theory

Alright, so I know there’s a lot of people disappointed with the ending, again, I sound like a broken record by this point. And don’t get me wrong- While I love the ending, I would still love to see more of the characters and the story! I just feel it’s a good end as it is. I’ve made a lot of theories about what the End means and everything about Act 7, but all of the things I said, about the Jujus, about becoming freed from Paradox Space, it made me think about the rest of the story, and I believe it has made my entire idea of what Homestuck is change.

So the big question here is, what IS Homestuck? Most people, including me, when talking to someone who knows nothing about it, will speak about the story, the 4 Kids playing SBURB, and the subsequent destruction of Earth. And then mention its huge amount of references towards programming languages, popular culture, storytelling in itself, and it’s self-referential nature. But this Ending has got me thinking that maybe the reason why so many people have been disappointed in the End is because they got Hussie’s intentions wrong.

We tend to reference how the humor and the nature of Homestuck’s narrative is a little extra onto the story, and while it is true the story itself and the characters have drawn a big part of the Fandom, I thought… What if the important part of the Narrative isn’t the Story, but the Meta elements.

As soon as I made connection, everything about the ending began to fall into place. I have commented before that I feel Act 7 is like being shown the Good Ending of a video game without seeing its Neutral Route.

The Kids have Earth, and Juju Vriska uses manages to flip the ending so that instead of being trapped by Paradox Space’s rules…

They manage to ‘End’ the game properly and get their Happy Ever After.

All while Caliborn is shown getting his power of Immortality, and while we’re left ambiguous about what happens to Vriska and Lord English and everyone in the Dream Bubbles…

Another thing people have complained about is the Character Arcs.

They say how ‘different’ the timeline is. What was the point of Rose’s alcoholism if then Vriska just swats the drink away and it never had any relevance anymore? Terezi’s relationship with Gamzee never happened. Dave and Karkat got together? The Game Over Timeline is bad, everyone agrees that people dying is never good, but they also claim that suddenly having all that Character Development changed made them unable to relate to some characters anymore.

And of course there’s always the mention of how Vriska, even though she’s an abusive 8itch, ended up being somewhat of a heroine, or at the very least not seemingly getting too punished…

That’s where the Narrative itself told us there was something off.

DAVE: rose we dont have fuckin “arcs” we are just human beings

Many have mentioned it, about how not having a closure to certain character arcs referenced this portion, the notion that the characters didn’t have an arc. The same way she then references Jade breaking Endgame ships and such. Rose’s power is Light, and her information source comes from the same place as SBURB and Skaia. It’s a game. Of course she’d have the notion that all of them have to fit certain predisposed stereotypes or their stories have to follow a certain pattern- Rose is looking at their lives since SBURB started as it has been. A Story.

But Dave is having none of it. Dave is beyond the thought that all they do has to follow a set pattern, and claims they don’t have character arcs. This might sound like a clever device by Hussie so he didn’t have to explore more of each of these character’s lives and he could close the comic leaving some loose ends but, there’s more.

Hussie? As an entity? Exists within the story. This would be all fun and dandy if it were a couple of stupid references and memes. And that’s what many people think! Most of his appearances in canon have been a joke, really. But…

Hussie joked about his influence on the comic, when his bot-self was about to mess up with the Kids in the Yellow Yard, but eventually didn’t do it. And yet? His fight with Vriska. His interactions with Caliborn. Everything pictured above? Hussie is a physical entity that follows the same rules as everyone else in Paradox Space and can influence the story. But he’s not a self-insert. He IS the Author. He is the one who wrote every of these characters and continued the story. He’s not another character, he’s himself, in the Homestuck Universe.

And then it began to dawn on me, that perhaps the Meta aspect of Homestuck was a bit more than Fourth-Wall Breaking fun and references to real life stuff. Of course, this train of thought led me to another main plot device that has never exactly been explained to its full extent. Jujus.

There’s the Sucker…

The Crowbar…

The House Juju…

A lollipop that could change character’s personalities, making them immediately make up for aaaall of their mistakes without a care in the world, start alchemizing new weapons, and end up exactly where they needed to be.

A crowbar that can break other of these mysterious devices, and more importantly, has been shown to be able to interact with the Website itself, which seems to be its own physical entity as well!

A house that gave John the ability to change the story, and that ended up being used against the Big Bad of the entire comic.

A puppet that trapped the Souls of various characters and became the gateway for the Big Bad of the comic to become who he is.

A mysterious pair of rings that oh so conveniently appear and disappear on characters, and leave you wondering what they really do, but clearly shown to at least be able to revive someone who, by no other means in the story, would have been able to get back to the world of the living.

Jujus are mysterious, when you look at them from the perspective of the characters. They have no beginning, no end, they just appear at some point and do a loop through time, ending up exactly where they appeared first. They are powerful artifacts able to change reality itself, with no explained origin… But we are no characters. We have seen what these things do on the comic through its entire lengths.

Jujus are plot devices meant to alter the Meta of the comic. They are not things that make sense in a true physical reality. They are artifacts that alter the rules of the plot. Because that’s what the plot is. A story. Because Homestuck is not real, and it acknowledges this.

Or at least… It was supposed to acknowledge this. Many have also claimed that the last updates were so disappointing, compared to Cascade, as Cascade managed to solve so many plot points, but this last one felt empty of everything. Plot. Character Development. That’s where Jujus and Hussie come in.

Hussie dies, in his own comic, a comic that acknowledges him as the actual AUTHOR of the events taking place. And later, we see…

Caliborn, the young version of Lord English, acknowledging Hussie’s death, as he takes the rest of Act 6 and makes it his. Through the use of the Command Prompt, through his own drawings, he begins to write his own story.

[S] Cascade had so many plot points resolved, and these last updates didn’t. Because that is the point. Ever since Act 5 ended and Act 6 started, Hussie has begun to lose control of the story. He was killed by Lord English, the big bad, who also took control of the narrative. Vriska acknowledges a narrator speaking, and forces the narrative to shift back to her opening the Juju chest out of frustration. The command prompts, John’s retcons- At this point, Hussie is no longer in control of his characters.

The Game Over timeline was bad, but it felt like it had more Character Development. That is because it was a not-retconned Timeline. The characters had struggles, the plot moved on forward, some people was possessed, it was all prime material for a conflict and a resolution afterwards! But Aranea’s intervention made it a Doomed Timeline. A Bad End. We all know how Doomed Timelines work, so everything that happens there would have been totally irrelevant. But John didn’t want to accept that. Roxy was still alive, and sad. And Terezi wanted him to fix things up. So instead of acknowledging he was in a Doomed Timeline, like Roxy did? Roxy, who saw her mother-daughter die in her arms, and claimed there might be nothing left for them. And meanwhile, John just managed to get his powers ready, zapped back in time and solved everything.

New problems arose in the new Timeline, sure, but not as many. And a lot of the character arcs were suddenly shoved back. Rose no longer struggles with alcoholism, Karkat doesn’t chase after Terezi, and becomes Matesprits with Dave after mellowing down. Gamzee, one of the biggest dangers, is shoved back by Vriska until he’s barely relevant anymore.

And all of this might just be me trying to find an explanation to the sudden loose ends not being tied. But I think, all of this, was meant to express more than Hussie rolling the story back or changing the story to fit other things. No.

We go back to Dave’s words. We’re real people, we don’t have arcs. We are real people. In a comic, where the author is a character, and that always acknowledges it’s a comic? Dave saying they’re real people is big. It was taken as a joke, because they are characters, come on! Right? … Right?

Well of course they are. But that’s the thing. Up until Act 6, all of the various characters were nothing more than that. And even during the Game Over Timeline, they were nothing more than that. But Hussie’s death, the ghosts, no longer relevant, trying to fight back against Lord English? Caliborn’s acknowledgement of a story and trying to take control of it? And finally, John’s powers.

The House Juju gave John something more important than being able to change the Timeline.

The ability to make Selfcest canon.

Wait no- That wasn’t it.

The ability to alter the plot to his own whims.

John’s zapping doesn’t follow the rules of Paradox Space. It allows him to change the timeline as he wishes and it still be the Alpha. Not only that, but he can also warp out of the story itself, sending people and things to the background of the website.

It’s when Vriska starts to try and find this Juju that everything about the narrative begins to shift gears. John now can change the plot. Which means he is not adhering to the rules that bound them all anymore. He can go back, bring people who were dead back to life, save his friends, and aid them get a better ending.

And in this new timeline he’s changed? Everyone seems a bit different. They have gone through different things, and are as confused as anyone else about what is going on. This is the moment where these characters stop being characters.

This isn’t a story about Four Kids playing a Game, getting involved in Shenanigans and trying to live a happy ever after as villains try to plot on destroying them and reality. Homestuck is the tale of the characters from a webcomic, becoming self-aware, and escaping the grasp of the author and the narrative.

I don’t know if this is what Hussie intended, and if it is, at what point he planned to start leading the story this way. I might just be crazy and be reading too much into this? But as I see it? It closes every single loophole in this story.

Doomed Timelines are meant to be nothing. They are meant to fade, and not be relevant anymore. But the ghosts are having none of this. They WANT to be relevant in this story again. They create an army, and head off to defeat the biggest threat in the entire comic.

Caliborn knows reality itself isn’t as it seems, and tries to make his own story within it. He strives to become almighty, and then begins to destroy and rend reality itself so he can make way for his own rule.

Vriska knows she’s in a story, having interacted with the very Author and the command prompt! But she is not trying to change the story- All the opposite. Vriska follows the rules of the story, closes loopholes from what she has seen, but tries to be the one who causes everything. She wants to be in the spotlight of this tale. She creates Bec Noir just because she had seen it in her screen. And knowing this is a story, she goes off of her way to find methods to defeat each of these villains, at any cost. Because in a story, once she defeats these big, powerful foes, she’ll be a heroine, and everyone will regard her so highly, she’ll be over everyone else. Just like she wants.

John? I don’t think he knows he’s in a story. But he has the power to alter it. And after he begins to mess with the timeline, the rules of Paradox Space begin to shatter around him and his friends. Time loops, Rules, Plot, why would they care about how a story goes, if it’s not a story, it’s their lives. They just want to be happy and get away from this cycle of destruction and death.

I’d even go as far as to say God Tier Calliope knows this. If her Land and her Earth were anything like Caliborn’s, she might also been in contact with the command prompt. Perhaps the fact her entire mission was a self-sacrifice to collapse the Green Sun represented how she, too, saw Paradox Space as what it was- A construct that kept these characters trapped as that. Characters. And the only way to escape its grasp was the erase its very existence, using Lord English’s destruction to tear a hole through the comic, and destroy it.

In this way, everything that happens towards the ending makes perfect sense. There are hundreds, thousands, who knows how many timelines, in which every plot hole will be closed. But we’re not following these. It would be easy to cause, say, the Condesce to wake up. Because of her immortality curse given by Lord English. Or the Draconian Dignitary get to the Frog Lily Pad. Something happens, interrupts the kids from entering to the new Session, and bam! Suddenly more plot! Their entrance to the Universe is blocked. Terezi worries about Vriska, so they begin to plot a way to help her defeat Lord English. The black hole in the Session that likely leads to Caliborn’s land becomes relevant, and they all have a trip to beat up Caliborn. Something happens to Calliope, her ring has ended up in Caliborn’s hands as well, he traps the kids, the Alphas beat him up, all loops are closed, we have a bittersweet, predictable ending. And this has happened. In many timelines before. Over, and over. Perhaps the one we’re following isn’t even the Alpha, for that very reason.

But it doesn’t matter. I talked about how the Jujus were a way to alter the plot, and let’s go back to this, and look at my theory about the Kids Souls being Trapped for all eternity in this Juju. The moment Caliborn uses this Juju, he kickstarts the entirety of the rules of Paradox Space. These kids we follow through the story, are trapped in a plot, with rules dictated by narrative that they HAVE to adhere too.

Then the ghosts decide that this is bullshit, and that they, even after death, want to still be relevant. Instigated by Vriska and Meenah, and aided by Aranea’s mind control, they manage to find a way they can alter the plot once again, a Juju. John touches this Juju, and suddenly he gains the power to alter this plot as well, and begins his and his friend’s journey to escape the clutches of Paradox Space and the comic itself.

John was trapped in the house all along. So of course, shoving his arm through it? He managed to grasp at the other side. He got a taste of what it was to be free. And he gained the power of changing the plot as a result.

Then, Vriska becomes alive again. She’s relevant, and bashes down on her ghost self. Ghost self that had at one point tried to make herself relevant, even though since she’s dead she shouldn’t be. This way, Vriska proves that, while she acknowledges the story as a story, and wants to be always present and in the middle, she never sees it as something she has to escape. She has no character development, because now, in this timeline that John has changed, she’s free to do whatever she wants, she’s her own person without a character arc, but doesn’t find the need to become said person. She doesn’t want to change, she wants to keep following the plot, and take down the big bad.

So Vriska takes the house Juju from her alternate self, goes against Lord English, beats up the Author of the comic itself as a last Fuck You, and then uses the Juju towards him. And this is when Alive Vriska makes her big mistake. By following this plot, this story, the Juju house crashes behind her…

She’s on Lord English’s side of the house. Because both of them know the comic is just that, a story. He knows about the narrative, and the author. So he kills the author, and becomes the big evil that must be defeated. Meanwhile, Vriska knows about the narrative, and the author, so she beats up the author and tries to become the heroine.

Caliborn and Vriska could very well strive to break free of Paradox Space in other ways, but instead they do what they do best- Be themselves, and fuck shit up in the process. And it’s this mentality that in the end, as the House Juju appears, tells us that both of them have been doomed. Doomed to be trapped in this Collapsing Paradox Space there’s no escape from.

Except there is an escape.

Because the door opens. It opens for the Kids and Trolls on the lily pad. And it opens for the Ghost Army and everyone else in the Bubbles. These are people that have been living aside from the story for a long time. The ones that are alive in the Session have had John change everything and the events happening after make them question Paradox Space itself. And the dead ones or the ones just stuck in the Furthest Ring? They fear being forgotten. They fear being erased by the collapsing Paradox Space, and had faced Lord English to try and become relevant once more.

Of course Condy’s curse didn’t wake her up. Of course DD didn’t appear. The moment the Juju appears, the story is done. There is no more plot. Because it’s not a story. The ones wanting to follow the plot are now seeing it crumble, seeing everything end. And the ones that wanted to become relevant against Paradox Space- Why would they need to even follow the rules? They are trying to escape them.

The Plot Holes are part of the plot in itself. John and everyone else didn’t need to fill it up. Because they are not part of the story anymore. We didn’t see their character arcs close. Because they are not characters anymore. They are not characters anymore. They don’t need to show us they have grown- Or maybe they haven’t even grown. They are always growing, learning. But now, they have escaped this evil Universe that trapped them and forced into cruel and crueler situations. They have escaped to a peaceful realm. They don’t need to keep following the story. They are happy and free to live their lives however they want.

They are finally happy.

Band instruments ranked by how effective they'd be in a fight
  • Clarinet: hold it like a sword, easy. Nice and heavy but not too heavy to swing with one hand. Downside- weird bell shape at the end might get in the way of the wrist. 8/10
  • Trumpet: clunky. Could be used to deafen or swipe but only truly effective in close-combat. Seasoned band students will be completely unaffected by the noise. 4/10
  • Saxophone: neck straps really hinder movement. If they're not there, the instrument could be effectively used as a bludgeon, bit awkward handling though. A flawless performance of Careless Whisper could confuse or impress opponent enough for you to run away. 5/10
  • Bassoon: same good points as a clarinet, have to be stronger to swing it though. weird stabby mouthpiece is a blessing and a curse- great if it pokes the opponent, really not great if it pokes you. 8/10
  • French horn: you're too rare. You can't be spared. Use your abnormally circular instrument as a shield for your retreat and let someone else fight for you. N/A
  • Tuba: battering ram. Need I say more. Downside- really heavy, tuba players are also not used to doing much work since their parts are literally the easiest shit ever. It's more an issue with the fighter than the weapon. 3/10 to 7/10, depending on how angry you got reading that
  • Trombone: you'd think these would be great stabbing machines, and you'd be correct. Catch someone in the temple with this bitch? They're fucking dead. 8/10
  • Flute: excellent sword. Nothing's in the way. You have probably seen several flute players already playfighting like this. They are like baby lions. They are preparing for the time to fight for real. Their intense hatred of playing their instrument only worsens with age. If you irritate them or give them enough ridiculous runs to play they stop giving a fuck about dents. Incredibly dangerous. 9/10
  • Piccolo: kind of like a flute but wimpy. Too short to be effective in a fight but could probably blow your eardrums out at the right pitch. 3/10
  • Percussion: trickster gods. Have you seen the way they treat their instruments? They don't give a shit. Filled with arrogance and max-level dexterity. Every single one of them is a chaotic-something. They'll throw anything. They'll throw a mallet. They'll throw a cymbal. They'll throw the drum set. They'll throw each other. You'll never touch them. You'll have a trumpet mute shoved down your throat before you get close. Those don't even belong to them. 10/10

“…she didn’t… recognize me?”

So I’m not feeling all that good today; I ended up recycling something I’d sketched earlier and colored and shaded it, hence the sloppy quality. Sorry guys. :(

But anyway this is Greyling’s and Ladybug’s first meeting! Not much of a meeting, huh? Ladybug gets hurt pretty bad by Tux and though she eventually fends him off with the help of a Greyling-possessed volpina, Greyling can’t help but feel as though something is still very wrong and makes the snap judgement to go see for himself. His intuition ends up being right on the money because as Ladybug calls for the Miraculous Cure, she passes out and falls off of the top of the building she was on. Greyling ends up catching her before her head can hit the rooftop below and though her battle wound is healed, she remains unconscious for a couple of minutes, with Greyling freaking out and trying to wake her up.

Ladybug thinks that Greyling has managed to send a second champion when she awakens, not recognizing him. How could she? All she has to go off of to this point is what her classmates tell her and what people submit to the Ladyblog, and neither account is terribly solid since they never actually get a good look at him.

But Alya, oh bless her, sends Mari a text a few minutes later absolutely FREAKING out over the pictures she got of Greyling cradling Ladybug on a rooftop. They’re distant but very clear. (”LOOK MARI IT’S YOUR FUTURE HUSBAND” ”BETTER MAKE A MOVE BEFORE LB SNATCHES HIM UP YOU’VE GOT SOME STIFF COMPETITION”)

Mari has a very patent Oh Shit moment.

BS Medical Tropes that Need to Die, 2/? : Making People Unconscious

For Part 1 of the BS Medical Tropes series, click here!

So I got an ask the other night about a character choosing not to kill people, but knocks them out with blows to the head instead. And it’s not an unreasonable thing for writers to think is legitimate. In fact, in fiction, there are dozens of ways to produce unconsciousness! A sharp hit to the head; a sedative drug injected right into the neck, bro!, or even Darkly Dreaming Dexter with his special horse paralytic.

Hell, on Person of Interest the main characters routinely produce unconscious enemy combatants by shooting them in the @$#RY)G!@#% knees

Here’s the thing: Every single one of those is complete bullshit.

Poppycock. Nincompoopery. Asscrap. And you’d realize that it’s a crock of crap if you thought about it this way for even half a minute:

Jasper Storyboard Comparisons and Rankings

A comparison of Jasper storyboards inspired by evieisyourqueen/critically-bitter. Save two exceptions I chose boarders that provided a lot of Jasper content, at the very least a full scene’s worth. Katie and Lamar I didn’t include as they drew Amethyst disguised as Jasper. I didn’t know how heavily that influenced their drawings of Amethyst/Jasper in the episode so I didn’t include either of them. If they do board more for her or post more art of her I’ll probably update this list with them. Hillary wasn’t included as she hasn’t boarded Jasper at all, and unless I missed it or didn’t pay attention didn’t see enough art from her with Jasper to get a solid grasp on how she’d draw her.

All that said, let’s get this analysis started!

Colin Howard

I really like Colin’s Jasper! It’s fairly consistent and looks very nice. The arms are well defined and her jaw and neck look thick and powerful without seeming awkward. Said jaw is rounded but without looking too soft either. Her expressions are some of her best here, especially those smiles she gives. My favorite aspect is probably the hair though. It’s huge and fluffy, something about how Colin draws it gives it presence and feeling. All around a great Jasper.

10/10

Fun Fact- Colin also drew some of the early sketches for Jasper before her design was finalized!

Jeff Liu

While occasionally inconsistent looking, Jeff’s Jasper is still quite good. She reminds me of a Tiger a lot in this episode, fierce and intimidating. The hair seems to have less volume on the whole, but spikes up when she’s especially angry. The chin is either rounded or angular with her body a touch on the leaner side of Jaspers at times. I’m not always a fan of how he draws her mouth, but it’s a smaller complaint compared to other stuff we’ll be getting into… Another good one all said and done, if a touch inconsistent at times.

8/10

Joe Johnston

Another great Jasper! Her expressions are probably at their sharpest and most frightening here, just look at that grin! Her hair is really big here, though not in the same way as Colin’s. It really adds to her already massive size, which is always a plus. Her body type also seems to be just right here, not too small but not too thick either. The jaw looks more rectangular here compared to Colin’s rounder one. While it’s not my favorite, it’s certainly up there.

9/10

Fun Fact- Jeff and Joe have also boarded Malachite the most so far!

Lauren Zuke

Here’s where it starts to fall flat a bit. The brief parts where Jasper is boarded by Lauren are… not great looking, to say the least. Looking at their sketches is a better indication of how their Jasper could look, but I’m still not a fan. Something about the torso feels off and the fact this is a leaner looking Jasper isn’t helping. The hair isn’t as big but certainly fluffy looking, The face has it worst here though, with the over all shape and the too big eyes making it look rather off compared to other Jaspers. At the very least it’s consistent, but it’s not helping much.

6/10

Paul Villeco

Surprise! Zuke’s Jasper isn’t my least favorite! That honor goes to the inconsistent and quite off model boarding of Paul Villeco, and my god does it show. All these are from different episodes and dear lord it’s bad. From the odd jaws and ridiculous proportions of The Return to the long neck and odd body shapes in Crack the Whip, it’s hardly ever looks good and looks ridiculous at worst. He has improved though and by Earthlings his Jasper manages to get some consistency, but it’s still a touch too lean and even the consistency falls apart once the corruption scene happens (though he also didn’t board that part entirely). It gains some points for saving itself at the end, but outside of that it’s my worst by far.

3/10

Fun Fact- Despite being my least favorite Paul Villeco actually boarded Jasper the most. Huzzah.

Raven Molisee

Now here’s a return to form! While some minor inconsistencies with the hands, hair, and teeth abound, this is still a great Jasper. A well proportioned and thick body, a strong jaw somewhere between Colin’s and Joe’s, nice looking hair on the whole and wonderful expressions, Raven’s Jasper makes me wish she drew her more on the episodes she had with her rather then Paul. All over a good Jasper, if lacking some sharpness on the whole.

8/10

Rebecca Sugar

Without a doubt my favorite Jasper. The hair looks wonderful, the right mix of volume and fluffiness. The body type is excellent, looking strong and well muscled but not leaning too far on the thick or lean side. The best part hands down has to be the expressions. While the eyes aren’t as sharp as I would prefer them Rebbeca never makes them feel too big and the range of emotions she gets on Jasper is amazing. Definitely the first person I draw from when I want to draw Jasper.

20/10

Fun Fact- In addition to never drawing Jasper with her helmet Rebecca also drew additional boards for Jasper in Chille Tid and Earthlings!

Bonus!

Amber Cragg

Amber hasn’t had a chance to board for Jasper much yet but I hope and pray she does soon. While some of the proportions look off and the hair not super consistent, Amber’s expressions are amazing on Jasper, in particular the detail on the teeth. More of Jasper’s huge canines in the art please. Now that she’s been upgraded to a storyboard artist maybe we’ll see some of her Jasper soon! Maybe? Please…?

7/10

So, I get that that ending bit was supposed to be like “there’s a little bit of Ashi out there in the world even though she’s gone” and all that.  I get the logistics and where it was coming from!

On one hand that’s sort of driving the “good things/people can come out of the worst situations” point home (Aku is the worst thing to happen to the planet but without his existence Ashi wouldn’t exist, etc, etc).

On the OTHER hand…

That ending could have used just one or two more scenes.

Bear with me for a moment, okay!  It’s late, I’m sad Ashi didn’t make it through the finale - just let me have this.

So, picture this:

The Ashi Jack knew disappeared during their wedding.  Leaving a grieving Jack, back in his own time with his old family and friends, but still sad.  He sits by that tree, somber.  Suddenly, a little ladybug flies up to him, he stares at it a moment before smiling.  He looks out over the hills as the sun shines on him and the tree he’s under.  The lighting is warm and it’s a strong callback to another scene we saw in the first episode of the season:

All of these are meant to represent Ashi.

Okay?  That’s the scene we saw already.

Now, picture this:

The camera pans out on Jack, and that’s the last we see of him. It’s not mentioned, but he knows in some way or form, Ashi survived.

Then we get a glimpse of the alternate timeline, a future without Aku.

In it, we see some familiar faces - but the entire timeline has obviously been altered.  We see some glimpses of the Scottsman’s daughters - some of them are keeping the ancient battle traditions alive - some of them are builders and engineers.  We see humans and some aliens in a big city. We catch a glimpse of the talking dogs running a museum to educate their kids about their ancestors.  We see a whole lot of things.

And then finally, we catch a glimpse of a young woman with dark hair. Enjoying a walk through a park, listening to birds chirping in the trees.  She gets to the top of a hill just in time to see the sunset.  The tree she’s under is illuminated a soft rosy pink.  The sun shines out over the hills around her, and she breathes in deeply - feeling an undeniable sense of peace.

Finally we see her face - this is Ashi, only in this NEW timeline she wasn’t created by Aku’s magic and a cultist (this time she and her sisters were created by two humans, surprise!).  But she’s still Ashi.  And this Ashi gets to live the life she always deserved to have.

Kouhai Trading

Imagine the captains of each team sitting at a table with all the lights dimmed except one center light.
The atmosphere is tense and they are all eyeing one another.
Sawamura, Kuroo, Bokuto, Oikawa, Ushijima, Futakuchi, Terushima in one circlular table.
The silence weighs heavy on all of them.
Then, Kuroo breaks into a cheshire cat grin, and pulls out a card.
“LEV” it says.
“OKAY SAWAMURA I’LL TRADE LEV FOR HINATA!”
(This is the start of the Kouhai Underground Trading Enterprises. Or as Bokuto likes to call it. KUTE. “It sounds like Cute,“ he says.)

Lol these are just some ridiculous headcanons I feel they’d do:
-After Kuroo says “FOR HINATA” they all burst into argument.
-“NO KUROO SUGA AND I RAISED HIM HE’S OUR CHILD.”
-“SAWAMURA AKAASHI AND I PRACTICALLY ADOPTED HIM ALREADY.”
-“HE GETS ALONG WITH KENMA AND I MORE THAN ANY OF YOU.”
-“HE MAKES KOGANEGAWA MANAGEABLE AND AONE LIKES HIM THAT KID WOULD BE PERFECT IN DATEKO. AONE LIKES HIM GUYS. AONE.”
-“CHIBI-CHAN IS CUTE AND INTERESTING AND CALLED ME THE GRAND KING, I WANNA STEAL HIM FROM TOBIO-CHAN!”
-“Little chibi-chan is cool, he defended megane-chan. I like him.”
“I do not want Hinata on my team.”
-They all glare at Ushijima.
-“Hinata wouldn’t go where Kageyama isn’t.”
-“Fine… fair enough… Sawamura gimme your Libero. Kid has talent. Also Yakkun really likes him… I’ll give you Lev I mean he gets along with Chibi-chan.”
-“No Kuroo… no one wants Lev.”
-“HEY HEY HEY Can I take Kenmaaa? Akaashi loves it when he’s around. I’ll give you Konoha.”
-“Konoha is a third year…”
-“KENMA IS MINE BACK OFF BO!”
-“ILL GIVE YOU ALL KOGANEGAWA FOR FREE PLEASE I BEG YOU SAKUNAMI IS SUFFERING.”
-“N O O.”
-“Hey Kuroo, you want Tanaka? Yamamoto gets along with him. I’d take Inuoka, kid’s super nice.”
-“Yaku would freak with extra kids to take care of… I told you man he’ll only accept Sugawara or Libero Chibi. Also Inuoka is our son so no.”
-“Suga… is off all bets and is a third year thank you. Noya would be so happy but we need a Libero sorry.”
-“Gimme Chibi-chan I’ll give you Kyoutani.”
-“That is so unfair man… Even I “knowl” that..“
-“Good one Bo.”
-“Can I have your glasses manager???”
-“No….”
-“Kyoutani is free I promise you.”
-“Only if his trainer (Iwaizumi) comes too.”
-“NO IWA-CHAN AND HIS ARMS AND FACE AND ENTIRE SOUL ARE WITH ME OKAY.”
-“I think Oikawa should come to Shiratorizawa.”
-“….”
-“….”
-“….”
-“….”
-“….”
-“….”
-Oikawa flips the table and points his middle finger at Ushijima.
-“Over Iwa-chan’s dead body.”
-They all argue.
-Suga, Iwaizumi, Akaashi and Yaku come in, sort everything out, and scold each one of them with long lectures about illegal trading and human rights and respecting kouhais.
-In the end… no one was traded. (Even though Bokuto DID try to steal Hinata again.)

Love your blog! Can I request RFA+V and Saeran being college classmates with MC?

Thanks so much! Hope you like this, and thanks for sending in a request!

Zen:

  • You both were in an elective class studying Shakespeare and other dramas
  • You didn’t really wanna be there…just there for the credit
  • He saw you sulking and tried to brighten your day
  • It worked and you guys became class buddies
  • He always borrows your pencils, cuz he never has them
  • Don’t give him one with cats on it though
  • He helps you decipher Shakespeare in exchange for help with other classes
  • One day he’s reciting some sonnet and you realize your heart flutters when he looks at you
  • Your professor low-key ships you two
  • You don’t realize until he adds a kissing scene where there wasn’t one?
  • Oh well…who’s complaining. ;)

Yoosung:

  • He ended up enrolling later in this culinary course to make up for some bad grade
  • When he first walked into the class, you thought he was the cutest thing
  • Lucky you ended up being paired as his partner
  • He never paid attention during the lecture, but somehow really good at practical cooking
  • As it so happens, you were good in the lecture but bad at cooking
  • “Aww, MC! We’re a perfect pair!”
  • Whoops. Your heart skipped a beat.
  • You guys are inseparable even outside of class
  • You listen to his rants about LOLOL because he just acts like a little puppy and it’s adorable

Jaehee:

  • You mistake her as the TA on first day of Business 101
  • You’re really embarrassed about it and apologize hundreds of times
  • You notice how meticulous her notes are during class
  • So you ask for help a lot
  • You’re not sure how to talk to her about anything else but school, even if you want to
  • One day, you bring her coffee to thank her for everything
  • That’s when you find out about her passion for coffee and dream of opening a cafe
  • You find that she actually comes to you a lot more often for advice
  • Somehow you grow really close over the semester

Jumin:

  • You don’t know who he is until half-way through the semester of Marketing when you’re paired off for group projects
  • The other people in the group think he’s really stuck up
  • But you know it’s not the truth and see he’s really kind
  • Study sessions always go off on a tangent because you two end up talking about everything else
  • Even when the project is over, he starts sitting next to you in class
  • You’re unsure why he keep staring at you when you wear your cat sweater
  • When he tells you about his love for cats, you ask if he’s been to the cat cafe on campus
  • You’ve never seen him so happy before
  • He tries to pictures with the cats, but all of them are blurry
  • You never thought you’d be teaching a college kid how to take selfies, yet here you are

Seven:

  • It’s a pretty difficult  IT course and he’s the kid in the back who doesn’t talk to anyone
  • You’re pretty sure he’s failing
  • Until one time the professor calls him out and asks him to answer a particularly difficult question
  • And he completely nails it without even a bit of stress
  • Unlike everyone else who thinks its weird, you find it fascinating
  • Give the excuse you need help with some problems
  • Turns out he’s a complete dork
  • You don’t realize until the end of the semester that he knows a lot about you
  • That you don’t remember telling him
  • Gets you friendship pencils for the final

Saeran:

  • Art 101….you are not thrilled
  • Lookie, there’s another person scowling in the back, so you sit next to him
  • He constantly makes sarcastic comments about the lecture
  • After awhile, you join in and you two now have an unspoken bond
  • Turns out he’s actually really good at painting
  • You’re surprised at the amount of emotion in the picture
  • Really bad at sketching people though….
  • “Is that a bug?”
  • “…That’s a nose…”
  • “Oh….it’s a very cute nose.”
  • “Shut up.”

V:

  • You’re taking a photography class for fun
  • You end up mixing up the times and get there an hour early
  • Well…he ended up doing the same thing
  • There’s an awkward silence for a long time…
  • so you ask him “What’s that?” and points to the camera in his bag
  • He stares at you confusedly….”Oh…I should mention I’m partially blind.”
  • Embarrassment aside, you two start talking a lot…you flirt a little too
  • When it’s getting nearer to class time, you ask politely why he’s taking this class if he can’t see too well.
  • Find out he’s actually the TA
  • Oops….you’re more embarrassed now.
the diabolik lovers boys as roommates

ayato: actually an okay roommate? he talks about himself a lot, but he has no friends so you feel kind of bad for him. if you can handle his narcissism then he’ll be a good friend and roommate. if not, well, he always brings back takoyaki leftovers. 7/10

laito: cool roommate who always invites you out. he always has someone over. be prepared to walk in on him and his partner every time you return home. 5/10

kanato: prepare for your kitchen to become a candy/pastry vault. you haven’t seen a vegetable in weeks. if he feels like taking an outing with you he makes you go to build a bear and buy him a toy. doesn’t like it when you leave him alone so you two end up spending all your time together. 5/10

shuu: the chillest roommate ever. perhaps a little too chill. he once flooded the bathroom because he fell asleep and forgot to turn the tub off. for all his faults you can’t really get mad at him because he does not give a shit about anything you do in the apartment. 8/10

reiji: the most anal roommate ever. he won’t let you leave the house until you’ve made your bed. set a curfew. will lock you out if you break curfew. on the plus side he does all the chores and cooks really well. 3/10

subaru: you’ve seen subaru maybe twice the entire time you’ve lived together. he’s always hiding in his room and gets flustered when you want to talk to him about anything. he doesn’t know his own strength and he gets angry too easily, so you’ve had to explain to your landlord why your walls have multiple holes in them. on the bright side he always pays for repairs 6/10

ruki: the roommate who always seems to be in a sour mood and pissed at you even if he’s not. despite this, he’s quiet and organized and overall a good roommate. do not bring people over, though, he hates having strangers invade his space and will stand there glaring at your guests until they leave. 7/10

kou: your house is literally littered with candies and fan letters that his fans send. he makes you reply to all his fanmail. he’ll help out if asked, but last time you asked he made you hold three different lights to his face for two hours so he could take the perfect selfie, so you don’t ask anymore. 3/10

azusa: the sweetest roommate ever, except for his knife collection. he locks himself out a lot though and never carries his phone so you often come home to find him huddled in front of the door. a good roommate to cuddle and drink hot chocolate with. 10/10

yuma: a messy boy. leaves his clothes everywhere and expects you to do his laundry. it gets to the point where you end up doing it just so he won’t wear whatever’s on the floor closest to him. he turned your place into an indoor garden and when he’s away will leave sticky notes on exactly how to take care of the plants. on the plus side, he’s a good cook and will complement you often, especially if you take good care of the plants. 7/10

carla: much like ruki, carla always seems to be angry at you. the difference between him and ruki is that he actually is angry at you. why? no reason. the only good things about having him as a roommate is that he pays his rent and is pretty quiet. 1/10

shin: brings dogs home that he finds on the street and now your apartment is infested with fleas. has a tail that he chains to his belt loop? you once asked him where the furry convention was and he threw your mattress out the window. 3/10

kino: always on his phone. forgets to pay the electric bill. drinks juice right outta the carton. makes you make a hundred new accounts on different mobile games so you can gift him items. kino isn’t the worst roommate on this list per se, but he’s really pushing it. 2/10

bonus

yui: literally best roommate. plugs your phone in at night when you fall asleep. makes you breakfast and impromptu lunches for when you’re going out. if you’re rooming with her after rooming with one of the boys, you cry because she’s such a blessing. 20/10 best roommate

karlheinz: fucked your girlfriend on your bed and didn’t think it was that big of a deal. 0/10 worst roommate

Yousana's Endgame Symbolism

This is quite a long analytical post so bear with me. If you read the whole thing, thanks and also, I commend you. Below is my analysis on the idea of fate and all the symbolism that makes Yousana, endgame.

Swan:

This animal has different meanings but for the most part it is the symbol of beauty, strength and loyalty.

Swans are associated with fidelity, loyalty in marriage, and monogamy, because they mate for life. Everlasting love.

They are also associated with transformation of something into something beautiful.

Blue Scillas:

The Scillas mean a couple of things: constancy (the quality of being faithful and dependable, and also the quality of enduring or being permanent) and it is also associated of forgiving and forgetting.

Yousef gives these flowers to Sana, as a symbol of his enduring and faithful love for her). Sana keeps these flowers way past their lifetime, by her bed. She forgives Yousef for kissing Noora, and forgets it too.

Carrots:

The symbol of fertility and lust. It is also seen as a symbol of spiritual nourishment.

This season the carrots symbolize her desire and love for Yousef. Initially, Sana is drawn to Yousef only physically and seeks to appeal to him physically as well. During Inshallah, she eats the carrot, delicately, while staring at Yousef. It’s very sexually suggestive at first (lust). But then, in the kitchen, it evolves into something more profound.

The carrots bring them together, and are what start the true spiritual connection between the two.

We see carrots throughout the season. They are a representation of their spiritual connection and their attraction for each other. At one point, Noora chews on one, loudly and annoyingly. Then we see rotten carrots on the floor, when all seems lost. The carrots appear once again, except Sana is holding one, without doing anything with it. Finally, the carrots reappear in cooked form in their final date, and they both eat them happily, and at the same time; meaning their connection is complete and they have both accepted the fact that they love each other and want to be with each other in every way.

The Number 12:

This one has been sneakily thrown at us throughout the season. It’s been slightly more subtle than the others. The talk of 12 kids, “One dozen eggs” hanging in Sana’s kitchen, Yousef asking if he’s “12 or what?”

Now according to various sources, the number 12 is the symbol of cosmic order, completeness and perfection. Which is really what they both are, when they are together. They complement each other, and balance each other out.

Fate:

Finally, although this isn’t symbolic, the idea of fate, it is meant to be, it is written in the stars and if God wills it.

Throughout the season, every single thing points to Yousef. Everything Sana does, reads, hears, no matter what she does or how she tries to avoid it, points to Yousef. Somehow, “the roads she takes” lead to him.

This is seen very pointedly in a few scenes:

Fy Faen: Sana is standing alone, balloons blocking her face and view. As soon as Yousef stands in front of her, the balloons magically move out of her way, giving her full view of his face.

I Feel It Coming: She’s praying, and at that moment the music plays. She walks out of her room and right into Yousef. Elias could’ve been there with him, or she could’ve entered through the bookcase room where Elias was. But no. Right into Yousef.

Inshallah: The most obvious one. Sana’s mom asks Sana about who will feed her children, and if she’s going to let them starve. Her response: my husband will do the cooking. “Inshallah”. And then Allah wills it, and minutes later, Yousef walks in and shows her how to peel carrots properly. How does he know? He cooks FOR CHILDREN at a kindergarten. It gives me chills whenever I think about it.

Unfriended: After finding out that Yousef isn’t Muslim, she decides to unfriend him and move on. She researches ways to get over someone you love. The final shot lingers on the final rule of getting over someone you love: Remember, There Isn’t Just One Person Out There For You.

Det Beste Fra Islam: After following the rules listed in the article, she goes to Grønland, to meet the next love of her life. A cute, good Muslim boy. As fate would have it though, Elias somehow ends up getting wasted and she ends up spending her evening with Yousef instead.

Spiller Alene: She’s throwing the ball, trying to score. At some point the ball bounces back, past her, as if pushed by a mysterious force, and lands directly at Yousef’s feet.

Kitchen Talk: Momma Bakkoush discovers that it is Yousef, the one Sana loves. She doesn’t dissuade her from pursuing something with him explicitly, but goes on to list all the ways Yousef isn’t good for her and explains exactly what she needs in a husband.

Maghrib: So far, her mom has given her the most logical explanation ever as to why her and Yousef would never work, and Sana is strong in her decision to forget him, because by all logic, it makes absolute sense. She says “I’ll meet other soulmates in the summer”. Then…Allah wills it once again, while she’s praying, and I feel It Coming starts playing. At the most perfect time. Everything points to Yousef.

To top it off, Yousef, again as if invoked by Sana’s mom’s words, goes on and demonstrates that he is the one for Sana, and shows her, inadvertently, that he’s exactly the man Momma Bakkoush wants Sana to marry.

The most beautiful part of this season has been the inevitability of Yousef and Sana as a couple, as life partners, and their love story. The mystical nature of their relationship and the forces that keep bringing them together. You just know they will end up together forever. There’s no doubt about it. It is beautiful and I’m glad Skam went there.

P.S - The songs: This is the only season where songs have been played more than once, in a season. Straumnes, 5 times; Into The Woods, twice. I Feel It Coming, twice. Again, just continuing with the pattern of constancy… There it is.

Ok but please consider sincerely three having date nights once a week and alternating who picks the date like first week is Evan, next is Connor, then Jared, and then all three of them agree on something special at the end of every month (because lowkey they probably got together near the end of a month and thats kind of how they celebrate their love)

it gets long and gay oops

Advice/FYI’s to High School Seniors

My main pieces of advice for all those students starting their senior year of high school this fall. Of course, these won’t all apply to everyone, but take what you want from it. Here’s some advice from someone who just graduated.

  1. By the time you get to senior year you either have 3 close friends. or you’ll be friends with everyone. Either way, cherish them all.
  2. Do not slack off. If you do, at least wait until the second semester.
  3. Take easy classes. Unless you don’t mind lower grades in hard classes due to senioritis then I suggest you keep your senior schedule pretty simple.
  4. Take off periods. You will LOVE them. You will be surprised with how much longer your days feel.
  5. Definitely start driving to school, or carpooling with someone who does.
  6. Go to the football games. Even if your team sucks. They’re just good experiences.
  7. Actually, go to as many school events as possible. Senior year was my first time going to volleyball games, or the dance shows. This is your last chance to experience them.
  8. You do not need to go off campus for lunch everyday. You do not want to earn your freshmen fifteen as a senior.
  9. Your senior year group of friends will be the group of friends that you wish you’d had all throughout high school.
  10. You will meet new people, and become friends and wish that you met them sooner. Because some of them will be juniors and you probably won’t see them for a very long time.
  11. Start applying to colleges as early as you can. Preferably once you start senior year, or the summer before.
  12. If you haven’t already taken your SAT/ACT you definitely need to get started on that your first semester.
  13. Go to prom if you can. It won’t be the BEST night of your life, but it’s a good one.
  14. Start thinking about what you want to major in. This is definitely subject to change, but you’re going to want to know a couple options once you start applying to colleges.
  15. Once you do accept your offer for a college, and it becomes definite, high school becomes so much harder to get through because you just want to leave.
  16. You’re going to be waiting for graduation THE WHOLE YEAR.
  17. If you’re in a relationship and are going your separate ways after graduating now would be a good time to either end it, or figure out ways to be long distance.
  18. Long distance very rarely works.
  19. At prom, it is a very good idea to invest in some comfortable shoes.
  20. Take lots of pictures.
  21. Go on college visits to as many colleges as you can.
  22. Save your absences for the last weeks of school because that’s when you are REALLY not going to want to go.
  23. Be one good terms with some of your teachers, because you’re going to want letters of recommendation.
  24. If you want to take pictures with your friends after graduation, be ready to pick a place to meet up beforehand because it will be very hard to find them afterwards.
  25. Do your homework. Please.
  26. Stop talking to the people that you realize you’re only nice to because you have classes with them.
  27. Now is just not a good time to develop a crush.
  28. AP tests are suddenly very hard to study for considering that you’ve been taking it easy all year.
  29. Your SAT score does not define you and getting a bad one is not the end of the world.
  30. However, do as well as you can because colleges often give assured scholarships to students who meet certain SAT/ACT scores.
  31. Your GPA is either going to drop, or raise A LOT.
  32. GPA doesn’t really matter at this point though. Junior year grades matter the most.
  33. Spend a lot of time with your family. You’ll be off to college before you know it.
  34. High school parties are honestly overhyped.
  35. Now would be a good time to acquire a taste for coffee.
  36. If you oversleep, I honestly recommend just staying home that day unless you have a test.
  37. T-shirts will become your clothing of choice.
  38. If you love makeup, like me, by the last 2 months of school you just won’t have the energy to wake up 20 minutes earlier to apply it. So learn to be okay with how you look without makeup.
  39. Please eat breakfast.
  40. No one cares if you eat in the cafeteria.
  41. The freshman look SO tiny and it makes you wonder if you looked that small 3 years ago.
  42. Go to all the pep rallies.
  43. Have fun during spirit week. Some colleges don’t have them, so take advantage of it now.
  44. It is totally okay to not have a date for prom.
  45. One of the happiest moments you will have all year is being able to walk across the stage. Also, one of the shortest.
  46. Despite what everyone says, there is a very good chance that you WON’T cry at graduation.
  47. The senior year teachers are always the best.
  48. Be nice to the freshman.
  49. Be nice to any underclassmen actually.
  50. But also, take pride in being a senior. This is your last year. Own it.

I have this really soft fondness for a WWI AU

Conner, Wally, Dick, Roy, and Kaldur are sort of a squad of misfits. Probably why they’re put together, commanders thinking they’d be decent canon fodder. But they get on like a house on fire once they get to know each other.

Kaldur’ahm is constantly battling the incredible amount of racism as a biracial soldier. His father was African American and his mother was a Pacific Islander.

The you have Wally, the smart talking red headed Irish American who deals with that prejudice, but damn can he run. He wanted to be a soccer player - got drafted instead.

Conner is a tank, but he’s got some major authority problems and anger issues.

There’s Dick, who would be the model soldier - but he faked his age when he signed up for the army. He went in under the name Robin, aged 18 but when the team finds out he’s only 16, they cover for him. They’re pissed, but it’s too late to send him home now. They become a little protective of him.

Then there’s Roy, their sniper. Nothing odd about him, he’s just a jackass.

They would look out for each other. Like, they insist on Kaldur being their leader despite higher command sputtering and refusing to give him rank. He gets it anyway. Wally and Dick end up falling in love, and they all keep the relationship quiet.

okay this is going to get long so readmore
