prepare yourself for farfetched concepts and my lack of showbiz knowledge

  • whizzer and cordelia are famous broadway/stage actors
  • everyone thinks they’re dating and they go along with it while never explicitly saying it
  • they are the two gayest people alive literally how

  • marvin is a “proper actor” as he calls it, meaning he does tv and film acting
  • marvin is, of course, an acting elitist. “ugh… broadway?”
  • can’t believe that his son loves musicals but “hey, that whizzer brown guy is pretty cute?”

  • charlotte is a director
  • she’s only done tv and film but is making the move towards stage things
  • it’s hard but she’s brilliant and i trust her
  • she meets cordelia on a set as cordelia was making a short tv appearance

  • trina is marvin’s ex and also an actress
  • she’s currently more into making a home now with her new husband, mendel
  • she’s taken up writing again during her slight acting hiatus
  • she wanted to be a writer long before she got into acting but she got her first role and got bit by the showbiz bug tbh
  • she has co-written things before but wants her own creation
  • she’s done both tv/film roles and broadway roles – truly a multi-talented machine

  • mendel is still a psychiatrist (and he was marvin’s prior to mendel & trina’s engagement)
  • he’s so loved on social media because of trina
  • imagine shitty buzzfeed articles about how trina and mendel are Relationship Goals
  • mendel was plastered all over trina’s instagram, photobombing and taking cute selfies
  • trina’s fans insisted he got his own instagram
  • he even got snapchat and honestly if you’re not following it, are you really a True Fan?

  • jason is keeping with his school studies but he’s an aspiring kid actor
  • jason is often between parents with added stress since they’re both famous

  • rumours fly when whizzer and marvin both publicly come out on the same day
  • PR had a field day and the media was going nuts
  • whizzer didn’t really care but marvin was Outraged for no goddamn reason
  • that didn’t stop whizzer from being petty in interviews
(”i heard that marvin is a nightmare on set, god forbid I ever work with him”)
  • marvin: he did it on purpOSE
charlotte, exasperated: why the hell would he do that, marvin
  • marvin literally throws the best fit of the year (haha, nice in trousers reference)
  • whizzer is happy to have finally dispelled the rumours that he and cordelia were a thing

  • cordelia has an interview shortly after
interviewer: so how is your relationship with whizzer faring after the big reveal? how is whizzer?
    cordelia: gayest man i know
  • cordelia is spotted kissing a girl (it’s charlotte but it was a shitty picture)
  • cordelia’s agent is flying off the handle and cordelia just tweets like “i never said i was straight [insert 20 emojis of hearts, rainbows & girls]”

  • whizzer and cordelia are each given a new script to read through for a new musical – both of them love it
  • trina wrote it!! she’s so ecstatic that they like it
  • she wrote a role with marvin in mind and is desperate for him to accept despite his apparent hate for musicals
  • trina went to school with him and knows that he performed in the school musicals, the fucking hypocrite

  • marvin: this is the worst possible thing you could make me do
trina: i walked in on you having sex with a guy in our home, you insensitive bastard. now read it, asshole
  • guess who loves it?? that’s right, it’s marvin… then he finds out that so does whizzer brown.
  • marvin: i’ll do it-
trina: yay, thank you thank yo-
marvin: on one condition: whizzer brown does not
    trina: marvin!!

  • through trina’s flawless persuasion, he finally agrees but he’s not happy about it
  • on their first meetup, marvin is nervous as hell. i mean he hasn’t performed in… years? he’s praying those high school singing lessons do him well.
  • charlotte is pulled in as director because of cordelia’s high recommendation
  • she walks in and cordelia stands up to hug her
  • cordelia: look, look, look, it’s my girlfriend!!
    whizzer: *gasps* nepotism
cordelia: is it nepotism if she’s not technically my family?

  • cordelia is the lead and performs her Big Emotional Number. the whole room is silent, basically everyone is crying.
  • marvin starts a slow clap that erupts into applause
  • cordelia rushes over to kiss her girlfriend.
  • whizzer, nudging marvin: still hate musical theatre?
    marvin: how di-
whizzer, turning away: i did my reading
    marvin: hmph
  • he’s a stubborn fuck

  • marvin and whizzer have a duet and the whole room can practically feel the sparks and “god, is it hot in here?” or is marvin just blushing up a storm
  • whizzer is also in disbelief. this arrogant prick gets talent as well?? sure, marvin’s voice is sort of wobbly but there’s heaps of promise.

  • whizzer: wow… didn’t know you could sing. i thought you were the result of further nepotism *eyes trina*
marvin, smirking smugly: i didn’t know you could sing either and she literally divorced me, whizzer brown
    whizzer, deadpan: ha ha
marvin: well then, how do i compare to caroline? [co-worker that whizzer once praised]
    whizzer: how did y-
marvin, grinning: i did my reading

  • marvin & whizzer both had their “oh god, i kind of like this guy” moments

  • they have their first group run through to see if the cast actually has any chemistry and of course they do
  • it’s a huge cast and they do a big upbeat number and everyone is beaming, practically glowing.
  • this is the moment everyone realises this show is going to be a hit

i’m gonna stop here but i have lots of ideas. feel free to send me asks about certain aspects or any ideas you may have!! i’m happy to share more if there’s any actual interest in this. this is super self-indulgent.

i expected to do a rundown of book reviews before school starts but i didn’t read anything during vacation. i half-blame kdramas. i half-blame the burnt out feeling i experienced when the semester concluded. there’s that, and i’m really sorry for my main blog because it has been neglected this holiday season even if i promised i wouldn’t put it aside anymore. i’m so bad at keeping up with it.

nonetheless, i want to share some thoughts i have about some kdramas i watched (and finished) this holiday season because i loved a bunch of them and i just want to talk about them.

1. W: Two Worlds- the first one I decided to binge-watch. the chemistry between the characters of this drama was A++ also, i took interest in it because of the world it promised in its synopsis. nonetheless, it didn’t disappoint. everything in this drama was obviously so well-though of. although i’m not a fan of the female lead character, i loved kang chul’s character and that was enough to keep watching the drama till the end. i tackled this drama expecting a romantic love story but it isn’t much of that because it’s really action and suspense packed. anyway, i realized that too late to turn back from my interest in the world in this drama. 4.5/5

2. Cheese in the Trap- the setting of this drama is just so relatable because the characters are in college. kim go eun is an acting goddess. hats off for both park hae jin and lee sung kyung. nam joo hyuk is an adorable human once more. this drama had great acting and a great story rolled into one. it would only seem light at first but the story gradually becomes darker as it progresses. this drama gets your mind working because of how it drops its foreshadowing and all that so you know that this is a well thought out story. 7/5

3. Oh My Ghostess- this one only started to hook me around the middle part. but i’ll say it was great to watch. i was sincerely rooting for park bo young’s character that i didn’t fancy the parts with kim seul gi’s character possessing her and seducing jo jung suk’s character– and that’s quite a lot of parts. that doesn’t mean i hated kim seul gi in this, it’s just that i really, really wanted to see things work for chef sun woo and bong sun. this show, nonetheless, challenged park bo young, obviously, because she was technically doing two roles in one drama. and she did a great job!! also, it’s impossible to not fall in love with jo jung suk who was every second lovable and adorable in this drama. i also discovered another favorite actor in this drama which is kwak si yang. 4.9/5

(everyone needs a kwak si yang smile in their life. also, because the next kdrama i’m going to mention has si yang in it)

4. Second to Last Love- adult romance and family drama. not a lot of people know about this drama but apparently, it aired the same time as scarlet heart ryeo and jealousy incarnate in SBS. i watched this just because of the promise that kwak si yang is in this drama. and he is!! kim seul gi being an amazing actress in this and sharing the screen with kwak si yang is a big bonus. i fell in love with him during oh my ghostess and i looked for dramas where he acts in and this is one of them. he’s the second lead in this drama and he did a terrific job in it. i’m a new fan!! anyways, this drama isn’t the usual thing to watch if you’re looking for oppas with hot bods to scream about. it’s a feel-good drama with plot twists so it’s not boring and not very light either. this is the quality and kind of drama that i hope filipino family dramas would achieve. even if it has a sad, dark back story, it is still relatable which makes it speak to audience. 3.8/5

4. Cinderella and the Four Knights- the title should be enough warning if you’re not into common and overused storylines. it already has cinderella on it so you already know what to expect right?? the story seriously reminded me of wattpad stories where a mistreated, poor, golden hearted girl’s life turns around 360 degrees because she meets this rich old man who lets her live with his super handsome and super bratty heirs. it just saddened me that it’s the case because jung il woo and park so dam who were both great actors. i think their acting was what really pulled me into finishing this series. eitherway, the other characters were too simple in a black and white way too so that didn’t impress me. i gave this drama a chance because i wanted to see if they’ll do something innovative with the cinderella concept but no. it wasn’t what i got. i continued watching it nonetheless because the acting was good, and i was looking forward to the happy ending of this drama that’s why i kept watching it. 2.5/5

-pls go ahead and watch weightlifting fairy kim bok joo. it didn’t really get the rating it deserved during its run but it has a promising story and great characters and talented actors. this is a very light but very well thought of drama. i talked about it on this blog a couple of times already and you’re probably tired of me saying it but go anead and marvel at the beautiful lee sung kyung and nam joo hyuk.

-goblin is a huge hit because it has a stellar cast, a stellar concept and a stellar story. i think it rose to popularity because of the leads but it is so much more than that. i’m looking forward to seeing more of this drama. huge bonus if you like aesthetically pleasing shows. i know a lot of kdramas have pretty cinematography but this one is just one of the best i have ever seen. i will always give this one a 10/10.

acelaevateins  asked:

Sorry if this was already answered; I didn't see it on the blog so I figured I'd ask. I can make fully-fledged characters almost on the fly. Sometimes it's helpful but most of the time, I wind up with more characters than I can handle and eventually give up on the story they're in. How can I maintain a small main cast?

My first recommendation is that age-old hated writing advice: Kill Your Darlings. You just came up with a beautiful new character! She has 6 toes! She likes salsa (the sauce), salsa (the dance), Circe (the mythical Greek figure), and Cersei (the Game of Thrones character)! She wrinkles her nose when she’s embarrassed and has a penchant for thinking she’s right about everything! Great! I want to pinch her cheeks and make her nachos. The problem is, she’s the 8th in a cast that’s already falling apart.

Kill her. (Probably.)

I don’t mean narratively. I mean straight-up set her aside and tell her “sorry, this table’s full”. She’s great, and you love her, but it doesn’t matter if she doesn’t serve the story. Every single character you create MUST have a place in the story. They must serve the narrative. No matter how beautiful, funny, or cool they are, if they are making your story fall apart, they don’t deserve a place in it.

Now, a caveat. You’ve created Jane Darling who loves salsa and Circe, and you realize she TOTALLY has a place in this plot – in fact, she’s the answer to the problem in your current story that you’ve been worrying about all this time! In that case, obviously, keep her. Just make sure she actually is doing the work for you – and that all of your current characters are, too. If you read Tolkien’s drafts for Lord of the Rings, you’ll find he’s replacing or significantly changing characters left and right. Even an author with as huge a cast as Tolkien’s has to cut or switch out characters sometimes in order to keep the story tight enough to track (and there are lots of readers who will tell you he didn’t do it enough).

All that said, you’re the only one who can really decide which characters need to stay and which should go. If you get a good reader (and I recommend you do at some point in your journey – though many writers prefer not to utilize a reader until a first draft is done), they may be able to point you in the right direction. But it sounds to me like you are suffering from another, very common problem, which is novel fatigue. It’s so easy to drop a novel. There are too many new ideas waiting. You don’t know for sure where it’s going. Things feel out of control. You don’t have enough time. And on. And on.

If you are serious about finishing a story, you’ll have to take another piece of hated age-old advice, which is: just do it. Just sit, every day, until you’ve written SOMETHING, even if you know you’re going to end up deleting what you came up with. Or just sit, every day, and think about your story for one full hour, whether anything gets written or not. There are lots of strategies, but the bottom line is that you have to interact with your story daily until it is done, however long that takes. You have to set aside newer ideas who’s newness is appealing (because you’ve thought about the old ideas for a YEAR and there’s no way they are going to sound exciting and new to you even if they sound awesome to every potential reader). You have to say no to friends and activities. You have to actively say, “I want to and am going to finish this.” Over time, sometimes a long long time, the other problems, like cast size, will become smaller, until they are relatively insignificant.

Some practical helps along the way, however:

Consider a novel-writing software, like Scrivener. These are created to help you keep track of characters and plot points.

A wall covered in sticky notes goes a long way.

A folder for new ideas (in your case new characters) that aren’t presently useful goes a long way, too. Kill Your Darlings, but give them a chance to rise from the dead some other day.

I hope this helps. I know novel writing can easily become unwieldy and overwhelming, but I believe in you!

Summer 2017 Watchlist First Taste (Thursday to Saturday Edition)

Sunday to Wednesday Edition.

Ballroom e Youkoso | Welcome to the Ballroom

If I have to recommend one new series to watch this season, this is it. This is basically the only show I’ve watched so far that the first episode left me excited and wanting more. Ballroom dancing might not be something that everyone’s into though, but you can probably watch it as a sports anime, but with fancy costumes and inter-high being dance competitions. The protag is your usual awkward, shy-around-girls 3rd year middle-schooler who doesn’t know what to do with his life, but he wants to change himself through learning how to dance and I’m okay with that. The other characters seem pretty interesting, too, so I can’t wait for their introductions into the show. And then I’ll probably read the manga… yeah I can see that happening.

Shoukoku no Altair | Altair: A Record of Battles

Another series that I was looking forward to this season because it sounded similar to “Arslan Senki” and I love that series to death. Admittedly, it has a slow start but I’m already intrigued despite that. The main character Mahmut, who becomes the youngest pasha (military general) at 17 years old, seems to be a good kid: he’s smart and idealistic but not annoyingly over-the-top. I know it has a huge cast of characters so I’m really looking forward to seeing them all (not to mention KENN being in this I’m sorry I’m super biased in this regard). Also, damn, look at the clothing designs — definitely won’t be as detailed and elaborated in the anime, but still.

Hitorijime My Hero | My Very Own Hero

Honestly, I didn’t have that much expectation for this show since it’s BL and I find that even though there are tons of BL manga out there to adapt from, the ones that do end up getting adapted are usually… problematic in one way or another. But this one definitely surprises me. The first episode introduces us to Masahiro, who comes from a broken family and joined a gang because he wants a place to belong. He becomes friends with Kensuke through an abandoned kitten, and Masahiro meets his older brother Kousuke, who’s known as the Bear Killer (i.e. he goes around beating up gangsters). Upon entering high school, Masahiro reunite with Kousuke, who’s now one of the school’s teachers. Yes, I know, another teacher/student relationship, fucking great. But I don’t mind it that much since the two characters already know each other from before. I’m also interested in Kensuke’s development with his estranged friend Asaya. Probably not a bad choice if you want a BL this season.

People can't accept that Iron Man kicked off the MCU and insist CATWS and GOTG saved the cinematic universe, and that Tony is no longer necessary and that he shouldn't be referred to as the center of the universe. Thoughts?

Considering Iron Man 1 not only kicked off the MCU is saved Marvel from having to sell off movie rights to different companies because they were near bankrupt at that point. Stan Lee has said that Robert Downey Jr saved Marvel. RDJ was a huge risk casting wise at the time, and it paid off tremendously.

If Iron Man 1 had flopped we would not have the Marvel Universe we have today. ca:tws never would have been made. gotg might have been made by another company, and it could have been a completely different movie. Without Tony Stark, and RDJ the Marvel Cinematic Universe would not exist.

Who even says these things? Do they know any Marvel history? Are they just making shit up? Have they ever seen an interview?

i'd REALLY like to get into vulture culture buT I don't really?? feel comfortable messing around with animal remains at all, it'd feel like i'd be being extremely disrespectful by just having them around the house haha,, do you know of any places where i can buy Fake animal bones that still look pretty real?

Everyone has their own beliefs and feelings about what they consider the correct way to collect (or not collect) animal remains. Personally I feel that I show these remains respect by taking care of them (salvaging them in the first place then cleaning them up and repairing them), sharing them with others if possible (which I do by sharing photos here on my blog, by using my skulls as teaching tools, or passing them on to someone else who will enjoy them through my Etsy shop), and obeying the laws. There have been a few remains I’ve encountered that have had very definitive and undeniable “leave me alone” vibes and I left them where I found them but I think others are fine to collect, display, and make art with. But that’s just my two cents!

That being said, it is your collection and you certainly don’t have to collect anything you don’t feel comfortable collecting! There are a lot of high quality replica skulls available these days for you to choose from!

The outrageously awesome @parliamentrook here on tumblr has a website and an Etsy shop where she sells gorgeous casts she makes by hand. She has natural bone-colored ones as well as special limited edition skulls in a variety of colors and designs too!

Schrecken on ebay has some really pretty-looking casts of some huge predator skulls for sale. Liger, lion, siberian tiger, Kodiak bear, etc. I’ve never bought any of their replicas but I have bought some real skulls and bones from them before and they are great to do business with. has natural bone specimens as well as replica skulls of hundreds of different species of animals to check out too.

Hope that helps get you started, Anon! Best of luck and happy collecting!

Sketches 32-38

Just sketching out possible print (and sticker?) ideas and experimenting with how I draw characters’ faces. I’ll probably add some kind of border or whatever to give the bust shots a more consistent shape.

There are more characters I’d like to draw but, well, SenBasa has a huge cast. If anyone has suggestions for who I should include, let me know. ^^

Hey Aly, hope you're doing well! Just wondering what inspired you to create 7kpp (the game and the world)

I’ve gone into this a little bit before, but basically 7KPP was born out of frustration.

I was raised to be a gamer since I was a baby gamer watching my mom play final fantasy games (before I could read even). And I love games, they are such amazing tools for narrative and story, and when done well are basically *the* most engaging and involving form of entertainment.

But for as long as I’ve been a gamer, I’ve also been a frustrated gamer. As a medium they have so much potential to make such a huge variety of stories and experiences. But so much of that hasn’t really been taken advantage of in any real way.

Combat and puzzles don’t have to be the only way a game can be challenging. Girly games don’t have to be simplistic (and are actually way more interesting than most people who don’t play them give them credit for already.) Social engineering can be way harder than shooting a bunch of nameless soldiers.

So basically I was annoyed at the gaming world which ignored out of that and used it to fuel my own creation of 7KPP, which is basically within the limits of my (limited) capabilities everything I wanted in a game but had trouble finding.

(Of course the development process has taught me a lot about why certain things *cough* *huge casts, tons of branching and customization* *cough* aren’t that common.)

  1. It’s an anime set in a future in which the Earth has been destroyed and everyone is spread out on various planets. Most of these planets have banned art and entertainment, especially idols. The girl group, AKB0048, perform guerrilla concerts on planets where there have been full or partial entertainment bans. AKB0048 contains 77 generations of trainees, with trainees who make it eventually replacing older members who graduate and taking on the name of the original AKB0048 member that they are most like.
  2. Because of the danger on the planets with entertainment bans, the members of AKB0048 and the trainees have to fight anti-entertainment forces, even in the middle of a concert while they’re singing and if that isn’t super bad ass, I don’t know what is.
  3. It is feminist as fuck. It surpasses Sailor Moon in girl power which is quite an achievement. The only thing it lacks is a distinct lesbian ship.
  4. Themes include: parental approval, body image, friendship, ambition, hard work, following your dreams, friendship, anarchy against oppressive regimes, encouraging others, positivity, dealing with haters, friendship, sisterhood, rivalry, inspiring others, dealing with critique, friendship, trying new things outside of your comfort zone, sacrifice, protecting those who can’t protect themselves, FRIENDSHIP OH MY GOD ALL THE LADY FRIENDSHIP I COULD CRY.
  5. It has a bit of something for everyone. Great music, a huge cast, mechas, girls fighting in cute outfits, mysterious magical creatures, light sabers, an android/cyborg, etc.
  6. There are only four male characters who have been in more than one episode (from what I’ve seen thus far). Only one of them is a romantic interest. Another is a canonically dark-skinned gay man.
  7. Such a cute art style. The idols are distinguished by heart shinies in their hair and eyes. There’s one super cute moment where little girls watching our protagonists sing actually get those heart shinies in their eyes because they are now dreaming of being an idol as well.

Crunchyroll link, just make sure you watch the first season, not second (next stage).

this whole situation makes me so uncomfortable because would they have done that if chy/ler was there? someone who advocates for lgbt representation and plays a lesbian and was surprised that her character turned out to be one? someone who went to the glaad awards and spent her summer meeting fans and hearing their stories? that’s what real support is. that’s what matters. not this fake ally shit where it only matters when it’s convenient.

oh my god i was just scrolling through sasha's ig acc and during her bday, she posted a pic of i guess her relatives'(?) cake for her, and it the cake was pll themed and it has a huge "-A" on it, i mean... none of the other cast have received such cake during their bdays, unless she's really the final uber A....

Hmmmm, I’m not going to go mad over this. It could mean something, but it could also just be her family making reference to something that has made her so successful. Plus, if she is A, she wouldn’t have told anyone at all. That kind of info can get leaked / sold sooooo easily so whoever it is is probably counting down the days until they can let everyone know. Must be so difficult haha

his death is 9000% him lying in the bed he made but like despite all those huge problems its really the littler bullshittery of hogwarts that points out his more everyday malignant neglect moreso than the huge decades-long plots. like maybe he has the power to cast all these protective measures around the physical proximity, only literal voldemort managed to walk right into hogwarts for a whole damn year and didnt set off any Literal Voldemort evil magic detectors. but the stuff that goes on that dumbledore is apparently fine with, i swear. how was filch ever around and why was he kept around. why in the world is quidditch allowed, with no apparent safety measures like even a magical actual safety net. why did harry have to learn a patronus spell from lupin choosing to teach overtime, when everyone knew harry was having personal problems with them because apparently no other hogwarts students have experienced the trauma that a 1 yr old has the capacity to. the whole chamber of secrets thing. how is a 13 yr old allowed to have a time turner and an unhealthy workload and honestly hagrid really shouldntve been teaching hands on hippogriff lessons. the triwizard tournament is a terrible idea which was just prime dumbledore material

god theres just way too many things to go on with but also, despite never needing to learn shit like math or any other everyday knowledge, why isn’t there a moderner history class? like theyre always learning about fifteenth century but especially with dumbledores history couldnt they have classes like “how to not want to kill all muggles and nonpurebloods and stop being a shit” or something. because those guys keep cropping up

god anyways its the “dropping a baby into an abusive situation” and “keeping on abusive employees” stuff like stop thinking up whimsical candy passwords and waiting for harry potter to die and like, offer your students some magical therapy or something, and some context for their lives, and some “so you’ve suffered abuse all your life” pamphlets, and stop letting death eaters in, and like all the times he saves the day its for shit that couldve been prevented by him

I love Troian- Every interview she gives is intellectual and worth listening to. That is why I can't comprehend how she didn't have any trouble with PLL's main storyline. I always knew Marlene's patterns of things but Troian..? This goes with every cast! It's the casts' reaction that makes me angry. I get PLL was a huge role in their careers but come on. I just wanted to know your opinion on this because you're my fav blogger.

This is anon who asked about the casts’ reaction to the finale. I forgot to say how I am grateful to you. It must be so hard to reply every single asks and still running pll related blog(after that finale). Thank you, so much, for not just disappearing. ♥

Yeah for sure I know what you mean. The thing is, like you said, this has been huge for their careers. For a lot of the cast, this could very easily be considered their big break and I think that loyalty takes over, and rightfully so in a lot of ways. Troian has actually always been relatively outspoken about things she didn’t love about the show because she can do it so objectively, she’s able to distance herself from the criticism without making it sound like she’s totally dissing the show, you know? But yeah and I mean they’re actors and they get a script and they can give input, and they could have given input behind the scenes, absolutely. But it’d be really bad for them to openly speak about it. It’d be a PR disaster and unfortunately that’s just the business :/

As time goes by, they might be a bit more open about things they didn’t love, but maybe they won’t. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

<3 Thank you! That’s really sweet and I’m glad you’ve enjoyed my blog! I’ve enjoyed having you :) I’m not going anywhere!

BNHA? Wazzat? Xx

Boku no Hero Academia (My Hero Academia) is a pretty solid super hero manga with heavy influence of western comics just slathered all over the damn thing

While it suffers from some lack luster arcs and can sometimes follow a pretty predictable and tropey path it has BRILLIANT. and i mean BRILLIANT, GORGEOUS EXPRESSIVE ART

It has a HUGE cast of characters but all of them are designed in a way that makes them seperate enough from each other that you dont forget /exactly/ who they are and they all have little quirks (heh) and personality traits that rlly make em unique!!

The villains leave a little to be desired but the “true plot” is quite interesting and its intriguing enough to keep, at least me, still invested and wondering just what the hell happened to All Might (whos the best character in the entire universe this is not an exaggeration)

also did i mention the art????

TL;DR - give BNHA a shot if you want an interesting take on western hero comics from a japanese author thats incredibly passionate and genuine about the story hes spinnin with really likeable characters and art that will muscle you through even the most cringey parts (which are RARE AF)
