The main character I'm writing is unintentionally homophobic, e.g. small comments (it's pretty subtle). I want to convey that this is the character's viewpoint and not mine. How do I make it clear that the character's portrayal does not mean I condone it?

If a character’s homophobic views are ‘unintentional’, then those views are probably unnecessary to the plot. While homophobic characters do exist, it is better to not have them in the story. Homophobia is so widespread that it is disappointing to find a good LGBT+ book that has blatant and obvious homophobia in it. At least for me, reading books is an escape from reality and if a book is homophobic, it hurts. I put that book aside and tell people not to read it. Especially if the book is fantasy. A made-up world has no need for homophobia. The real world has plenty.

Hi, sorry I can’t take front selfies and all my good ones were on my old phone 😕

But yeah, I’m Megan. I am 18 and I’m from Scotland. I’m going to university after the summer to study philosophy and politics (well hopefully) though I’m slightly terrified about moving away.
My interests are :philosophy and politics obviously, reading, bingeing tv shows, eating, sports etc.
I work at McDonald’s which is the worst thing ever. I like memes and when people tell me stories about their lives. I want to travel more and see the world. I love long conversations about absolutely anything with anyone. I also get really angry about stupid things e.g Oreos. But I swear I’m not crazy.
So yeah, if you’re a nice person who loves to chat about loads of stuff and is looking for an internet friend and is like 16-19 years old, hit me up.

Additional note- Don’t mind whether you’re a boy or girl or sexuality or where you’re from etc. Just thought I should mention

Person A and person B are good friends for a while now and they realize they're in love with each other. Non-cliche confession prompts, please? c: thank you very much!

Hope this helps!

1. As many confessions contain the words “I love you”, how about one that doesn’t? But just contains everything that needs to be said, without actually saying it (maybe because they’re both afraid of actually admitting it.

2. It could be said in passing, as in without a big gesture and is casually remarked in a normal conversation.
E.g.
“Come on I’m only teasing.”
“You’re so lucky I love you.”

3. One avoids the other for a few days or so because they are scared of falling in love. The other eventually confronts them and demands to tell them what’s wrong, and then they confess everything.

If anyone has any other prompts feel free to comment! :)

I'm looking for a fic where got7 goes to an interview I think and Jackson meets this employee there and a few minutes later he sneaks away to make out with her in an elavator. Unfortunately I only read up to that part when my battery died 😔 I really enjoyed it so far and I hope I can finish it one of these days. Thanks for your help! 😊 Sorry about the long post.

Monday 8:27am
I woke up with you on my mind.
You called me babe last night —
my heart is still pounding.

Tuesday 10:53pm
Today I realized we won’t work.
What we are is hurting her.
And I think she matters more to me than you do.

Wednesday 11:52pm
I broke things off with you today.
She barely said a word.
I’ve never regretted anything more than this.

Thursday 4:03pm
I shouldn’t have sent that message.
You shouldn’t have been so okay with receiving it.

Friday 9:57pm
I almost messaged you today.
I didn’t.

Saturday 8:49pm
I’m walking around town in search of alcohol.
They say that liquor numbs the pain of having a broken heart.
I want to put that to the test.

Sunday 2:32am
I heard you texted a girl you’ve never spoken to before.
I wonder if it’s because you’re trying to replace me.
I can’t help but wish you weren’t.
I thought I was irreplaceable.
