I mean, he hardly even knows this crazy princess who makes bad choices, but instead of ditching her or leaving her to figure things out on her own he throws her to (relative) safety and gives her and Sven the best chance of survival while he stays back and hopes for the best. [2/7] Episodes: How to Stop an Exploding Man

I think a big part of this whole head trip is that we went from 2 and a half years of barely a mention of Ziva or Tiva to an entire storyline around them in which she died, the ship became canon for all eternity with the reveal that they have a daughter, we heard open acknowledgment that they each loved one another and then Tony left to focus on his family (of an unknown number) all in 45 minutes. That’s half a season, minimum, of revelation and we were trying to somehow absorb it in the space of one episode. It’s like getting as hot as you possibly can in a sauna then throwing yourself into a pool full of ice; it’s overwhelming and you’re unsure if it feels good or not and even though you thought you wanted it, it could also cause cardiac arrest.
OKAY so, way back when ML eps first starting coming out and more people were getting into it, I just so happened to be listening to Elephant Love Medley from Moulin Rouge, and if you know me, you know i’m a sucker for a good crossover, sooooooo I spent a night churning out some rouge sketches to pair up ML with the song.
& now I’m seeing some amazing ML Rouge art on my dash, and while there’s BARELY anything done on this project & it all looks pretty much like crap-y-oli on a stick, I still wanted to share because even though the whole scene is like 6 FREAKING MINUTES LONG, I originally had a bunch of ambition to do the entire thing….. but I haven’t touched it since that initial evening. Hopefully posting the very beginning of it will at least help me get the momentum going again, but anywayyy, ML Rouge is a thing and it’s beautiful so please indulge me, ok bye.
