It was a blissful moment, complete serenity. Shawn had been home for the past week and was set to be home for the next month. He decided to spend his first week home relaxing at our new condo with me before venturing out to see friends. We were sitting on the couch, Harry Potter playing on the television and rain drizzling down outside. His arm was lazily draped around me as my head rested on his bare shoulder. We both were still in our pajamas, Shawn shirtless with a pair of black sweatpants and myself in an old shirt of his and a pair of flannel shorts. Shawn was alternating between browsing on his phone and actually watching the film. Beside him, I was rapidly typing away on my laptop, trying to finish an assignment as earlier as possible. It was a quiet and comfortable moment, no stress or worry, just calm. I was hard at work when a gentle tap on my head from my boyfriend pulled me from my assignment.

“Hey babe?” I glanced up at the boy talking beside me. He was already gazing down lovingly at me when I met his eyes.                                                         “Yes hun?” I replied, turning to give him my full attention. He reached up and ran a had through my tangled hair. I leaned into his touch and sent him a smile.                                                                                                                            “ Would it bother you if I started a livestream right now? I haven’t been super active the past couple weeks.” Shawn asked politely. His kindness and consideration made me swoon and fall even more in love with him. He was so respectful towards me and my work no matter what. I smiled up at the beautiful boy.                                                                                                                                   “Of course not! You couldn’t bother me if you tried babe. You don’t have to ask me to talk to your fans, I know how important they are! I’m in my own little world half the time anyways.” I told him, shocked that he thought I would be bother by him. I reached up to cup his cheek and he leaned into my hand.

“I figured but I just wanted to double check. Do you wanna join?” Shawn asked, pulling away from my hand and adjusting his posture. I thought about his question for a moment.

“Hmm, I’ll hang out here and chime in a little here and there. I wanna get a little more work done so I don’t have to stress about it later.” I decided, leaning down and placing my head on his chest. Shawn pulled me closer to him, lightly kissing the top of my head. I sighed gleefully, glad that Shawn was finally home from tour.

“Whatever you want honey. Feel free to tell me to shut up if I’m bothering you.” he insisted, picking up his phone from the couch.

“Shawn. You will never ever bother me! Like ever! Stop stressing! I love having you around.” I said seriously, gently grabbing his chin to make him look me in the eyes. How in the world does this perfect boy think he’s a bother? He grinned down brightly at me, dipping his head down to kiss me. The kiss was slow, passionate, and loving. It wasn’t quick, rushed, or filled with lust, just slow and steady, stuffed with love.

“God, I love you.” he whispered, breathless, once we pulled apart, resting his forehead against mine. I giggled at his words, my cheeks flushing pink.

“I love you more.”I smiled back.

          “I love you most.”

We both sat grinning at each other quietly for a moment. My work and his livestream were forgotten apart for a minute and everything was peaceful. My head went back to resting on his chest and his hand went back to toying with my hair. Everything was perfect. My eyes started to droop as sleep slowly began to pull me in. Shawn’s voice softly pulled me from my slumber. I felt my cheek still resting against him and noticed that his arm went from around my shoulders to wrapped around my waist. From his words, I could tell he was streaming and chatting with his fans.

“Where would you love to travel that you haven’t already been to.” He read the question out loud then paused to think of an answer.  “Hmm, I have always wanted to go to Hawaii. Actually, I think I’m going to take my girlfriend on a trip there soon. She’d absolutely love it.” he responded. I smiled against his skin, my eyes still sealed shut. I wanted to steal a couple more minutes of sleep. “Where is your girlfriend?” he laughed before replying. “Well, my lovely girlfriend has actually been laying right here the whole time. She’s taking a nap but I think she’s starting to wake up.” Shawn panned the camera down to show my sleeping figure. I nuzzled my face deeper into his chest. He dipped down to kiss me lightly on the head. “Yeah, she’s been pretty swamped with school work recently so I’m glad she’s relaxing. She deserves a break.” I forced my eyes to open and shuffled in my boyfriend’s arms. I moved my gaze upwards to look at him only to find him gazing adoringly down at me. “Oh well, look who decided to wake up!” he teased, “Good morning sunshine!” Shawn laughed as I smiled. I sat up from his embrace and pulled my arms over my head, stretching.

“How long did I sleep for?” I asked, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes. He glanced at the clock on his phone before replying.

“About four hours. It’s 6:42 right now.”

“Oh geez, I only meant to sleep for like a half hour.” I said, looking back at my laptop which was still sitting on the couch beside me.

“Trust me, you needed the extra sleep. Wanna say hi to the fans? Most of the comments have been asking for you.” he explained, gesturing towards the fan’s comments flooding his stream. I nodded, leaning against Shawn once again and making myself comfortable.

“Hey guys! Sorry for the wait, I was snoozing.” I laughed lightly, “How is everyone today?” I asked, reading the responses right away.

“Someone asks, ‘What is your favorite thing about having Shawn home?’ I’m interested to hear this.” he smirked, reading out the question.

“Nothing, I wished he’d leave.” I joked which caused Shawn to playful gasp. “Kidding, uh, my favorite thing is probably having someone to snuggle and relax with. I always miss that when he’s on tour.” I answered sincerely, leaning up to kiss his cheek.

“That’s my favorite thing too, baby. I find it easier to sleep when you are with me.” Shawn confessed, kissing my forehead. The feed exploded with support, saying how adorable we were. We chatted and answered questions for another hour or so before saying our goodbyes. The rest of our night was delightful as we relaxed and enjoyed each other’s company. One thing was for sure, I loved it when Shawn was home.

Color Me Yours

Hi guys! This is just a meet-cute about the reader and Tom meeting for the first time in a ceramic art studio! There are a few bad words, but other than that, it’s pure fluff! I hope you like it!

Color Me Yours

The only thing that had led Tom into the painting studio had been his boredom, but since he spotted the prettiest of all pretty girls wandering down the aisles in search of paints, he decided to stay put. Desperately seeking paints, brushes, or anything else that could be used to start a conversation with her, Tom began meandering through the studio.

“Have you decided what you want to paint sir?” An employee’s monotonous voice asked dully from behind him, forcing Tom to stop his pacing.

“Uh, yeah.” Tom mumbled, grabbing the nearest ceramic figure to him, which evidently turned out to be a tremendously large coffee mug. “This,” he said questioningly.

“Wonderful. Paints are over there,” the employee said, pointing at the left half of the studio before walking off.

“Helpful.” Tom grumbled beneath his breath as he rolled his eyes. At least he was pointed in the proper direction, while the girl seemed completely lost. Tom stopped to look at her for a moment, lost in how the light flickered off the glossiness of her hair. He observed that she was shy, like she was prepared to ask someone for help, but as soon as they got closer to her, the courage would evaporate on the tip of her tongue and she would just stare at her shoes. Tom decided that he’d help end her search for the assorted paints.

“Hi,” Tom started, feeling a tad bashful himself, “you look a little lost, are you alright?” The words his brain was attempting to get his mouth to say were failing, sticking to the roof of his mouth like cheap bubblegum. Her eyes just looked so kind up close, and her skin looked soft, but not as soft as her petal colored lips. “I mean, you look totally alright, but like do you need help finding anything? The employees here don’t seem to keen on helping anyone.”

Her eyebrows raised and her cheeks flushed and Tom cursed himself. He wouldn’t blame her if she asked him to fuck off.

“Actually, do you happen to know where they keep the paint? I’ve been looking for a while, and I think I might be blind? Or maybe just dumb,” She trailed off, twiddling her thumbs, but Tom felt a resurgence of confidence lick through him when he saw her glance up and down his frame, before her cheeks began to heat up again.

Candidly, the young girl knew exactly who stood in front of her. His name was Tom Holland, and he was a beyond amazing and attractive actor who happened to be playing the coveted role of Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming. She had first spotted him in The Impossible, and had harbored a small crush that transfigured into a massive one when she saw him again in Captain America: Civil War.

She could barely believe that they happened to be in the same art studio, let alone the fact that he was standing in front of her looking nervous and offering to aid her on her quest for paint. She wondered if there was a non creepy way to let him know that he was quite possibly the love of her life.

Tom scoffed, “M’sure you’re not dumb darling, you’ve picked the most intricate design in the entire shop. Besides, I doubt the employee even told you where to find the paints. He just kind of of,” Tom gestured with his arm to the left half of the store, “claimed paint was over here, but I’m kind of doubting it now. We can go look for it together?”

She smiled and nodded before stepping forward to walk through the store next to Tom. “You know,” the girl started before she could stop herself, “I think you’re going to be the best Peter Parker that Marvel has ever had. Sorry if that’s an odd thing to say, I just think that you’re really neat.” She mentally hurled her body off a cliff, why couldn’t she have any sort of chill? She had binge-watched Sex and the City, she should know how to be a cool girl by now, but instead, she had to rebel and be just so her. It was beyond irritating.

Lucky for her, Tom had never found a statement more endearing than the one currently hanging in the space between them. “That’s so sweet, darling, thank you so much. I’m kind of nervous that a lot of other people don’t think so,” Tom could tell that she was internally scolding herself, so he did his best to soothe her worries. “Furthermore, when’s a pretty girl telling you that she thinks you’re neat a bad thing?”

She looked away as he smiled down on her, and she fiddled with the fairy figurine in her hands.

“Well, we’re having a difficult time locating that paint, huh?” Tom sighed, ruffling a hand through his curls.

“Yeah, what the hell? I don’t think that we’re both stupid and blind,” she trailed off, spinning around in a slow circle to get a better bearing on her surroundings. “It’s getting a tiny bit ridiculous. Like, they must’ve purposely hid the paints or something,” she wondered.

“You know what? Stay put and I’m going to go drag that guy over here and make him show us where they hide their damn paint.” Tom said, promising to return with an employee or some clearer directions on where they could find the colors.

“The shop is called Color Me Mine,” Tom pondered out loud, “How is anyone supposed to color anything theirs if they don’t know where the fuck the paint is?” Once he finally received step by step directions, he rushed back towards the girl who stood waiting for him in the left wing of the painting studio.

“You wouldn’t believe it but I know where to find it!” Tom called, coming to a shaky stop in front of her, reaching to hold her shoulders to steady himself.

She rejoiced immediately, taking a hold of his hands and literally jumping with glee. “Thank goodness for you, Tom! Thank goodness!”

Tom felt like a hero, and he smiled when he thought of how happy making her happy was making him feel. He wondered if she had a partner at home who was making her happy, but that was overshadowed by his embarrassment that he’d forgotten to ask for her name.

“Of course, darling, but while we’re on the subject of names,” Tom didn’t think that he could be any lamer, “what’s yours? Can’t keep calling you darling forever,” He chuckled, smiling down at her.

She leaned into him and told him her name, secretly thinking that Tom Holland calling her darling forever wouldn’t be a bad thing either.

Tom spoke her name out loud, enjoying the way her name lingered in the air. “Well, shall we color them ours?” He asked, motioning to the fairy she held in her arms.

After the pair had decided on colors, they sat down together and began to talk, paint, and wander back to the clandestine cabinet that held all of the art supplies the studio offered to customers.

Right now, she and Tom had decided to compete in a battle of who could paint the prettiest item. She had stuck her oversized purse in between them to shield their designs. Although her bag was large, it only covered up what they were painting, so Tom and the girl’s eyes met over and over again.

They were engaged in a game of work uld you rather right now, and they were had making each other laugh so hard that they’d been given angry looks from bothered patrons.

“Alright, darling,” Tom had slipped back into the habit of calling her darling, not that she minded, “would you rather live inside ‘The Shining’ for a week or have the only film that you’re able to watch be ‘Misery?’”

“Oh my gosh! Getting to exist in the same universe as ‘The Shining’ is a complete dream come true! But, to specify, you’re referring to the King novel and not the shit film, right?” She smiled ear to ear, glad to have finally met someone who adored horror flicks the same way that she did.

“You’ve gotta be joking?” Tom said, looking away from the coffee mug in front of him that was about a step away from being completed, “The film was revolutionary for me when I watched it! How could anything Kubrick touches be shit?” He asked, eyes wide and brows raised.

“Well, to start, how old were you when you first watched it?” She teased.

“That’s absolutely besides the point!” Tom dismissed, laughing while he swirled his paintbrush through his final coat of paint.

“You were a kid, huh?” She smiled, her own fairy had been completely painted for a while now. “Have you even bothered to read the book?”

Tom opened and shut his mouth before cocking his head to the side and shaking his head.

“Exactly! If you decide to read it, you’d discover why Stephen King despises that film as much as he does!” She tried to sneakily glance over her purse-wall to see Tom’s progress.

“Hey, hey! You’ve been caught! No peeking, love, besides, I’m about three brushstrokes away from finishing!” Tom knew that what he was about to do was bold, but he hoped it would pay off. The mug he had originally just picked up to have something to hold had been painted into a gift for the girl across from him. He only hoped that it wouldn’t come off creepy and desperate, instead, he was hoping for cheesy and sweet.

“Not that I don’t believe in King’s genius, because I do, it’s just the film is a classic for a reason!” Tom said, finally setting down his brush. Poising the big question, Tom placed his hands on her bag, “Ready for the big reveal?”

She bit her lip and blushed as Tom’s brown eyes stared into her own. Settling her hand onto her bag too, she nodded. “Okay, on three?”
Tom began the countdown, and by the count of two, all the hairs on his arms stood up, completely electrified.

When they reached one, they yanked her purse into the air, Tom moving it to the side of the table to clear the view of each other’s work.

The fairy she had painted was beautiful, dressed in soft pinks and greens, lively enough to make her way home to Pixie Hollow if she so pleased. When Tom looked at the fairy’s painter, he decided that she too was magical enough to belong in a fairy’s garden.

The mug he’d painted for her was a simple baby blue with a dark blue trim. He’d painted pink hearts along the handle, but the boldest part of the mug was the phrase he’d carefully drawn on. In messy, black cursive, the letters looped together read,

Color me yours?

And on the inside of the mug, he’s painted even more pink hearts and with the smallest of brushes, he wrote,

Breakfast at 10?

When she didn’t say anything, Tom began to panic. “Is it awful, oh gosh, I knew I shouldn’t have-,” but before he could finish his sentence, she cut him off.

“No, No! I’m sure that she’ll love it! It’s adorable!” Her insides her melting into a pile of goo, she wanted to believe that she stood a chance with Tom, but whoever was receiving this mug clearly was the only lady for him.

Tom stopped automatically, hands frozen and mouth dropped open, he couldn’t believe that she thought the mug was meant for someone else. “It’s, she’s, no-, darling this is for you. I want you to love it.”

He watched realization mist over her eyes and she let out a loud giggle, clapping a hand over her mouth and hiding her face.

“Oh my gosh, I’m such a doof,” Tom slid over to her side of the table, laughing as he extended an arm around her frame, pulling her to his chest. “I cannot believe I ruined that. Let me make it up to you, I have a copy of ‘The Shining’ in my car, borrow it, please, please, please.”

“You’re so silly, darling! Of course I made it for you! Granted, yes, the line was weak, but I figured you’d know that it was for you because we’ve spent the last hour and a half together at Color Me Mine!” Tom’s hand circled her lower back, “Alright, I’ll borrow the book if you meet me for breakfast and accept my mug, once it’s baked in the oven and dry.”

She leaned away from his body to meet his gaze, “Okay. I’ll consider you colored mine.”

The next morning, over strawberry and nutella crepes and belgian waffles to share, Tom spent the entire breakfast ranting about how enlightened he was now that he fully realized the genius of Stephen King, and how grateful he was for their chance encounter at Color Me Mine.

The Fitting (Part 7)

(The sexuality of your relationship with Jungkook continues to get more intense while you both struggle a little on how to make things work.)

Warning: smut, cunnilingus, face-sitting, public sex, intercourse, explicit as always

With Jungkook working out of town for a couple of days, you were able to focus more on your own job without distraction.  Or at least with fewer distractions.  Before you both parted ways at your apartment, Jungkook told you teasingly that every time he got horny he would text you to let you know he was thinking of you.  You hadn’t been apart more than 30 minutes before you got the first text.

Thinking of you right now.

You had learned from almost getting caught the previous day that you needed to keep you phone on silent and to change Jungkook’s name to “Some Guy” in your contact list.  You really didn’t feel like you could trust Jungkook to tone it down in his texts, but you would do the best you could to keep it from being noticeable.

You spent most of the day focused on planning all the looks for the boys’ appearances in Thailand next week.  It was fun to finally have some limited control over the entire process from fashion to hair and makeup.  You had been so focused on your work that you didn’t even realize until you arrived home late that night that you hadn’t checked the messages on your phone all day.  When you finally looked, you saw messages from the blind date guy making suggestions for your second date.

Watch your step,” Ryan offered a hand to Y/N as she picked up her dress a little and carefully walked up the steps with Cody’s hand at the small of her back, guiding her up the steps.

Hugs and handshakes were exchanged as they quickly said hello to one another before Ryan jumped back into work mode. “First of all, thank you so much for spending your Valentine’s Day with us as I’ve known you two for a while now, but I didn’t realize you two are also celebrating your ten year anniversary today!” Ryan put a hand to his mouth to cover his next words from the couple and looked directly into the camera, “I hear wedding bells soon,” he sang in a playful and jokingly kind of way as he winked at the camera.

Top 20 Favorite Films of 2015

Just as the title says! I saw way more films this year than last year so obviously it was a lot harder picking favorites. I almost decided to increase the list to 25 but eventually opted against it. Also this list is going by 2015 USA release dates or whatever I happened to see at a festival in 2015. Before I start the countdown here are a few films I really loved that didn’t quite make the cut.

Honorable mentions: The Tribe; Phoenix; Tag; Magic Mike XXL; Nasty Baby; Kumiko, The Treasure Hunter; White God; Tangerine; Heaven Knows What; In Jackson Heights

But anyway, here is the list of my favorite films of 2015 with a few, simple words on each.

20. The Diary of a Teenage Girl (dir. Marielle Heller)

As John Waters said in his top of the year list, this is a film that deals with sex between teens and adults that manages not to be creepy or unintelligent. I always hate when I’m watching films about sex and the actual sex is sugar coated or portrayed in a prudish manner. Thankfully, it’s not only incredibly frank about its subject matter, it’s also incredibly heartfelt (in part from the fantastic lead performance of Bel Powley). I went into this expecting another typical American indie comedy and instead got something incredibly funny, sweet and actually kind of edgy.

19. Goodnight Mommy (dir. Veronika Franz, Severin Fiala)

When both my girlfriend and I were able to figure out the twist of this horror mystery film about halfway through its running time, neither of us expected to enjoy it nearly as much as we did… but by the time it ended we were floored. In a strange way, knowing the twist only added to the last incredibly disturbing, unpredictable and horrifying third of the film. And in many ways it made it only scarier, so much so that I wonder if it was intentional that we were able to figure it out? Regardless, there were gasps and screams in the theater and they definitely weren’t unwarranted. This film about two young boys who question their unrecognizable mother’s true identity gets pretty damn freaky.

18. Tokyo Tribe (dir. Sion Sono)

Sion Sono is one of our greatest living filmmakers. So when I say a Sono film isn’t among his best work, you can still count on it being a hundred times more interesting than most people’s entire body of work. In this case, Sono crafted an insane, sloppy, brilliant and totally hysterical rap battle musical. The rapping itself isn’t all that great but I could care less. This is a blast from start to finish! Shot in a floating, god-like perspective we move from scene to scene as the film only builds in insanity, vulgarity and implausibility. But perhaps the best aspect of Tokyo Tribe is when the true intentions of its villain are revealed. I won’t spoil it here, but I always love films with high stakes (in this case warring gang tribes) which arise from something totally insignificant, as it only makes it more ridiculous. Far from perfect, but one of the most fun film experiences I had this year.

17. The Mend (dir. John Magary)

Definitely among the more underrated films on the list, this dry, (extremely) dark comedy explores something that I am personally fascinated with and tend to make films about myself: failed men. The Mend centers on two brothers who initially appear like polar opposites but are eventually both uncovered as pathetic, selfish and deeply angry individuals. Neither of them are very likeable but there are aspects of them that are vey relatable (in a scary way). Although I did frequently laugh during this film, most of the humor was so cringe-worthy and uncomfortable I wasn’t able to make a peep. It’s also incredibly well crafted, well paced and consistently manages to be visually interesting.

16.  Mustang (dir. Deniz Gamze Ergüven)

What an absolutely phenomenal debut feature! Despite some big flaws (all the girls kind of blend together at the beginning of the film) I was so moved by this film I forgave all its problems. Mustang is about a group of sisters in Turkey whose home starts turning into a sort of prison as they are forbidden from interacting with the outside world for fear that they might ruin themselves before marriage. It manages to be inspiring without being sappy, and political without being in-your-face. The emotions of the film totally snuck up on me, and sure enough before the credits started I was tearing up. This is a fantastic feminist work of art that of course reflects the current cultural climate of Turkey but is also very universal.

15. Anomalisa (dir. Charlie Kaufman, Duke Johnson)

Charlie Kaufman needs to be given every possible resource he needs so that he can make as many films as possible before he dies. The fact that he’s only directed 2 films is an absolute crime. Perhaps this isn’t as moving or as ambitious as Synecdoche, New York but it’s not trying to be. It’s a smaller, more intimate film that revolves around a motivational speaker who meets a woman in a hotel who seems to breath new life into him. Anomalisa is a stop motion film and it actually incorporates the puppetry of the main character into his breakdowns and fantasies. It’s a deeply sad film but one that abstains from being cynical. It also has the best sex scene of the year. Go figure.

14. Taxi (dir. Jafar Panahi)

Iranian director Jafar Panahi was banned from filmmaking in his home country in 2010. Since then he’s made 3 feature films. Taxi is not only his best film under the ban, it’s also one of Panahi’s best films in general. The entire movie takes place inside a taxi cab as Mr. Panahi himself drives, picks up passengers, meets up with old friends and watches as his niece makes a film herself for a class project. It wasn’t until after the film ended that I realized the entire thing was staged. Taxi serves both as a meta discussion on the kind of society that would lock up and censor one of its best filmmakers (the ending of this film is heartbreaking given Panahi’s situation) as well as an incredibly sweet and intimate portrait of the people of modern Iran, the kind you won’t see in any western media outlets. The fact that this film exists at all is stunning, but the fact that it’s as good and engaging as it is is even more stunning.

13. The World of Kanako (dir. Tetsuya Nakashima)

Without a doubt the most vile, repulsive, disturbing and transgressive film on this list, The World of Kanako is a mad whirlwind of violence and mayhem that doesn’t slow down once for the length of its two hour running time. We follow an ex-detective as he searches for his daughter and starts slowly falling down the rabbit hole of the pitch black world she inhabits. The editing is slick and quick as we are constantly jumping between 3 different timelines, trying to piece together just what happened to Kanako. What’s revealed is beyond perverse, as even our protagonist is shown to be as disgusting and amoral as any of the villains he’s chasing. Cinematically explosive (every trick in the book is pulled out in this film) and totally degenerate, I couldn’t help but get sucked into one of the most fascinating and exhausting films of the year.

12. Victoria (dir. Sebastian Schipper)

At 138 minutes, Victoria is the longest single shot narrative film ever made. One might be worried that this gimmick would be distracting to everything else in the movie, but it isn’t.  The characters and their performances make the journey incredibly real and emotional (Laia Costa as Victoria was my favorite performance of 2015) . There were times where I even forgot that I was watching something done in one take. I don’t wanna give away too much about the plot because going in completely ignorant will probably lead to a much better viewing experience. I will say that this is the kind of naturalistic filmmaking I really admire. One where extraordinary events take place, but not a single moment feels untruthful.

11. The Revenant (dir. Alejandro González Iñárritu)

As much as I really enjoyed Birdman, I didn’t quite think it was on par with some of Iñárritu’s best previous work (Biutiful and Babel are two favs of mine). However, The Revenant is without question one of his strongest and most impactful films. Teaming up a second time with Emmanuel Lubezki (arguably the greatest cinematographer currently working), together they crafted an absolute visual masterwork. The entire film could have have been silent and the story would have been as clear as day. DeCaprio also delivers the best performance of his career, achieving an almost Mifune-level over-the-top-ness that is constantly intense but never becomes cheesy. Out of all the films on this list, this one begs to be seen on a big screen. It’s a true spectacle.

10. The Look of Silence (dir. Joshua Oppenheimer)

Oppenheimer’s follow-up to his masterful The Act of Killing is just as brilliant and perhaps even more powerful. Once again focusing on the Indonesian genocide of 1965, but instead from the point of view of a victim’s family. The brother of a murdered “communist” confronts all the men directly or indirectly responsible for his brother’s death. A beautiful but haunting film that’s extremely difficult to shake off once you’ve seen it.

9. The Forbidden Room (dir. Guy Maddin. co-dir. Evan Johnson)

A solid quarter of the audience I saw this with walked out of it. Maddin is a true cinematic madman, willing to try and do absolutely anything in his films. It would be kind of pointless to try to describe this movie because there are a million stories in it and about a billion things that happen in it. A lumberjack ends up in a submarine, bananas come alive and tell a story, a man becomes so obsessed with butts that he has parts of his brain removed, skeletons force a lover to don a poison suit, a mustache has a dream… etc. etc. etc. All shown through grainy, kaleidoscope-esque images. Equally hilarious, destructive and insane, this is probably one of the strangest films I’ve ever seen. It’s bizarre even by Maddin’s standards.

8. Mad Max: Fury Road (dir. George Miller)

I mean, what is left to say about this one? This film seems to be on absolutely everyone’s “best of” list this year (and if it’s not I’m assuming that person either hasn’t seen it or is insane). It’s a masterpiece of the action genre. I’m not going to say much else about this one because if you have yet to see it, stop reading and go watch it.

7. It Follows (dir. David Robert Mitchell)

This film has had me looking over my shoulder when I’m walking alone ever since I saw it. I’m one of those people who gets really scared by good horror. And man, this scared me like no other film I’ve seen recently. I’ve only just started watching more horror films (thanks to my girlfriend, who’s much more of a buff in the genre than I am) and this film definitely stands out as one of the best and most original American horror films in current memory. The concept of people -whom only you can see- following you no matter where you are and who are intent on killing you is terrifying enough, and thankfully this film is so well made that it truly is as scary as it sounds.

6. World of Tomorrow (dir. Don Hertzfeldt)

The only short film I even considered to be on this list. Hertzfeldt has created yet another hilarious, emotional, and supremely intelligent film. He manages to pack more ideas into a single scene than many films can muster in their entire running times. A little girl is greeted by a 3rd generation clone of herself and is brought to the future, where she is shown and taught many extremely significant things… all at an age too young to fully grasp the information she’s given. By the end of this 17 minute journey, I was weeping.

5. Wild Tales (dir. Damián Szifrón)

The opening scene of Wild Tales is the closest thing to Buñuel-style absurdity I’ve ever seen in a modern film. And the rest of the film is pretty great too! This dark comedic anthology film from Argentina really took me by surprise. It’s comprised of six unrelated stories that all deal with revenge taken to its most extreme, logical conclusion. I laughed so hard during this movie that the couple sitting in front of me in the theater moved seats. It’s extremely dark, at times absolutely absurd, beautifully shot and has a lot of fantastic social commentary that is very universal. One particular story about a man getting his car consistently towed is almost too relatable.

4. The Lobster (dir. Yorgos Lanthimos)

I’ve been a committed fan of Yorgos Lanthimos since Dogtooth, so when I heard the basic concept for The Lobster a year or two ago I’ve been eagerly anticipating it. Having finally seen it, I can safely say that it’s definitely Yorgos Lanthimos’s best film yet. The story, revolving around a hotel where single people are forcibly sent in order to find a new mate (and are turned into animals if they don’t), is one of the best films about how completely ridiculous relationships can be. The whole movie is a brilliant breakdown of what makes something normal and how arbitrary the rules in our society often are. It’s a hilarious, beautifully made film and has the best overall acting of 2015.

3. The Hateful Eight (dir. Quentin Tarantino)

What’s already turning out to be Tarantino’s most divisive film also turned out to be one of my favorites by him, if not my absolute favorite (a 2nd viewing will tell). Yes, the 70mm roadshow version made the screening really special (complete with an intermission and overture) but aside all hype surrounding the format, this is one of the few times I’ve felt like Tarantino was commenting on something other than filmmaking (or past films) itself. The Hateful Eight deals with issues of misogyny, racism, the death of the American dream and how all of those things fit into the myth of the American west and how that relates to our current culture. Also, the fact that it’s as engaging as it is for a 3 hour movie that takes place mostly in one location and only has despicable characters is a miracle. I personally think this is Tarantino’s smartest, most subversive and most mature film yet.

2. TIE

Mommy (dir. Xavier Dolan)

Xavier Dolan knows how to craft classy melodramas. The emotions the characters go through in Mommy are massive and almost become over the top. But instead they are very real and very felt in the audience when watching it… at least for me they were! I cried and cried during this movie. It’s the most emotional experience I had during any film from 2015. However it’s not just beautiful and heartbreaking, it’s also a marvel of filmmaking, using a totally unique 1:1 aspect ratio (one that’s not reflected in the still I chose), featuring incredibly sincere uses of pop songs, and having some of the best cinematography of the year.

A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence (dir. Roy Andersson)

2015 seemed to be a great year for absurdist comedies! Roy Andersson is one of our best living filmmakers and every film he makes is an absolute treasure. Pigeon is no exception. Meticulously crafted for years on end, Andersson can spend up to 5 weeks just creating a single shot (everything in Pigeon is shot on a soundstage as well, so the shots can look exactly as Andersson likes them to look). Andersson is also a champion against outdated concepts of traditional story structure, with his last 3 films focusing more on moments and situations rather than arcs or characters (although Pigeon is the most character driven of the trilogy, but not by much). This film is also hysterically funny, filled with macabre, absurd and surreal moments. While the other two films in his trilogy may have asked “Where are we now” this one asks “What do we do now?” The answer (if he even has one) isn’t always pretty, but it’s almost always funny.

1. Entertainment (dir. Rick Alverson)

Entertainment takes Gregg Turkington’s infamous “Neil Hamburger” character (an aggressive, intentionally terrible meta stand up comedian he’s played since the 90s) and poses the question “What if he were a real person?” The result is one of the strangest, most horrifying and most cinematic films of the year. This film entered a very dark part of my consciousness and stayed there. We follow “the comedian” as he travels from shitty gig to shitty gig playing to audiences that couldn’t care less (or sometimes are even violent). He occasionally makes phone calls to a daughter we’re not even sure is real, he visits relatives he has nothing in common with and he takes awful tours of the desert to kill time between shows. It unfolds its themes and story (if you even wanna call it a story) visually, utilizing gorgeous widescreen cinematography that takes advantage of its Mojave desert landscapes. Entertainment is an uncompromising character study of what it means to be “entertainers”, the mask they use versus their inward emotions and the hollowness that can accompany artists (especially unsuccessful ones). The film starts slowly moving into the totally surreal, and by the end we don’t even know what’s reality and what’s not. This is the most unsettling film I’ve seen all year. It truly got under my skin and as painful as it can be, it’s a trip worth taking. Even if the destination of said trip is the center of hell.

i was wondering if you can make a jikook head canon, with extraextraextra pining jungkook? a non au, in around the hyyh era? or really just before the wings era? angsty (with jungkook's tears at one point, please) with a happy ending?

girl…..i love pining jikook. that is my shit. also i think this is my first non-au request. yaaay!! thank you so much. (for the record i don’t think jimin and jungkook really ever had a serious fight during the inu era, it’s just for the hc). WARNING: this might be really fucking long. ANOTHER WARNING: it starts off kind of slow i’m sorry. ANOTHER ANOTHER WARNING: there is some spicy stuff later on and mentions (?) of sex? kind of. no actual sex tho.

+ a year ago jungkook would have pushed jimin away, closing himself off from jimin’s affection. but as he watched him play with hoseok on the set for their new music video, he felt sad that jimin wasn’t next to him, bugging him like he used to.

+ he wasn’t jealous of the other members. not at all. he was more upset at himself. angry for rejecting jimin all those times when now all he wanted was his attention.

Grayson Dolan x Reader

A/N: I couldn’t find anything w Grayson and fireworks so here is a good looking gif. ;)

“Gray, I’m pretty sure I don’t feel safe with you blowing up fireworks.”

I watched as my boyfriend of 3 years shuffled around through the firework section, asking me which one looked more cooler every other second.

“Babe, it’s not a 4th of July party without some fireworks!” He picked up three boxes of sparklers, tossing them into our buggy.

“Gray, we’re here for food, not fireworks!”

Grocery shopping with Grayson was difficult anyways but knowing that our party tomorrow was going to be huge, and the fact that Ethan was coming along, makes me a thousand times more nervous about buying fireworks.

“I’m going to get hamburger meat.” I mumbled walking away from him.

“Baby stop. Just, we’ll get the sparklers tonight and then maybe I can get E to grab some real explosions.”

“Oh my gosh, I’m gonna die.”

Gray laughed at me, giving my ass a quick slap, making me blush. We got the rest of the items and left the grocery store. Gray kept talking to me about how he wanted huge fireworks but all I see when I imagine him and Ethan shooting fireworks is fire and maybe someone getting hurt but I’m not hoping for that.

Gray pulled into the driveway of the Twins apartment, giving me a quick kiss before getting out.

“Ethan!” He screamed making me roll my eyes.

“That is why you two get evicted from your apartments so much!” I hissed, grabbing a load of bags.

Grayson laughed and started handing Ethan bags when he came to the car. I trudged up the stairs, feeling Grayson hitting my butt with his bags.

“Can you not?” I yelled pushing their door open.

“You were going slow.” I rolled my eyes, sitting all the bags down in the kitchen.

Grayson and Ethan left the apartment to go film for their new video tomorrow, leaving me there with peace and quiet. I truly don’t think I could’ve survived another long conversation about what kind of fireworks to get. I started putting groceries up, groaning at the sparklers.

“Hey y/n!”

I looked back an saw Cameron sitting at the bar, looking gorgeous as ever.

“Hey Cam! What’re you doing here?”

“Grayson texted me saying that you were cooking some of the party food for tomorrow and told me to come help.”

“I’m actually not. The only things that really need to be cooked tomorrow is the Hamburgers and Hot Dogs.” She rolled her eyes making me laugh.

Cameron stayed over, helping me put up the rest of the groceries. I decided to tell her about how Grayson wants to do huge fireworks tomorrow at our party but she agreed with me and said that one of them would probably get hurt. Which, when they do get hurt, it’s typically Grayson.

“We’re back!”

I felt arms snake around my waist, making a smile appear on my face.

“Did you two not cook?” Ethan asked throwing his hands up.

“No you idiot. You don’t cook hamburgers the night before.” Cameron pushed him away from her, causing Ethan to trip over a pair of shoes.

“Quit messing around Cameron.” Ethan mumbled pushing Cameron.

I leaned my head back onto Gray’s chest, earning a kiss on the top of my head.

“I’m actually gonna go to bed. Good night.”

I pulled away from Grayson grip giving him a kiss on the cheek and headed to his room. I kicked off my shoes, crawling into my side of the bed.

“Good night Baby.” I rolled over an smiled at Grayson.

“Good night.”

“I love you.”

“Love you.”

“You can only buy $200 worth of fireworks. Okay?”

The boys nodded their heads, leaving me at the apartment once again. They suckered me into letting them buy fireworks knowing good an well there was going to be a firework show in Los Angeles tonight.

Cameron was in the back cooking the food because they boys couldn’t even figure out how to turn the grill on so Cameron had to teach them.

The party started at 6 tonight and it was currently 4. I wasted half the day sleeping but I could care less honestly.

“Here’s the first batch.” Cameron sat the plate down.

“Thank you so much, Cameron.”

She waved off my gesture and went back outside. I don’t know how they boys even survived without Cameron. I really don’t know.

“We’re back!!”

I looked over, my mouth dropped open.

“That is so not $200 worth.” I mumbled.

“But it’s a lot!” Ethan took the fireworks outside

“What the hell, Grayson. There’s gonna be a firework show down in L.A. tonight.”

“I know but this was way cooler.”

I let out a big sigh, earning a kiss on the cheek from Gray. I ignored them for the rest of the hour so I could actually cook. Their friends started rolling in around 5:30.

However, what the boys and Cameron don’t know is that I flew out their parents.

“Hey baby, everyone is loving the party so far.” Grayson wrapped his arms around my waist.

“It hasn’t even started though.” I laughed putting the plate of toppings over on the island.

“I know but they already love it. Thank you for cooking everything.”

I turned around and smiled up at him, pulling him down, leaving a kiss on his plump lips.

“I love you, Grayson.”

“I love you, y/n”

Grayson left once again. I grabbed my phone and checked my messages.

From: Mrs.Dolan

‘Hey y/n! We’re coming now! :)’

I shoved my phone in my back pocket, leaving the apartment when no one was looking.

“Hey!” I pulled his mom into a hug.

“Thank you for inviting us out here. It means a lot.” Mr.Dolan rubbed my back, pulling me into a hug as well.

“Don’t thank me. I know the boys miss you. Okay, so let me go in and tell them that I have to show them something.”

They nodded their heads. I jogged back to the door, smiling when Grayson came into my view. I walked over and laced my fingers with his.

“Hey baby.” He kissed the top of my head making me smile.

“I have a surprise for you and Ethan.”

He looked down at me and motioned for Ethan to follow me.

“Okay, close your eyes.”

The boys closed their eyes, making me smile. I opened the door and motioned for their parents to come in.

“Is it going to hurt us?” Ethan yelled, covering his balls.

“I doubt she’d do that, E.” Grayson mumbled.

“You can open them!”

The boys eyes widened, pulling their parents into them.

“We didn’t know you two were coming!” Grayson yelled, squeezing his mom.

“We didn’t know either but y/n invited us down here to celebrate with you two and Cameron.”

Grayson pulled me into a hug, swaying us back an forth.

“Thank you y/n! you’re the best!” Ethan joined our group hug making me laugh.

“No problem boys.”

Ethan pulled back and took his parents out to the backyard, leaving me there with Gray.

“You’re literally the best, y/n. I couldn’t ask for a better girlfriend.”

Grayson pulled me into a kiss, wrapping his arms around my waist. I pulled back and laced my fingers with his, earning a kiss on my hand.

I stayed with Grayson the whole night, chatting with his friends about their new youtube ideas, their new tattoos, and what they planned on doing with their future. They were truly blessed with some amazing friends.

I walked over an stood beside Cameron, watching the boys set up the fireworks. This was what I was fearing the most about tonight but luckily their dad was out there helping them.

“Who’s ready to watch some fireworks!?” Ethan yelled.

The whole party cheered, even me and Cameron. Their dad set off the fireworks, making Ethan and Grayson give each other high fives. Everyone was recording the show but I was too busy amazed by how beautiful they were. Honestly expected them to get crappy ones.

“Thankfully my dad was here to help them.” Cameron laughed, elbowing me.

“Oh, I know.” I laughed and watched as Grayson walked over to us, wrapping his arm around my waist.

“Thank you for tonight, baby.” He mumbled, kissing the top of my head.

“Don’t thank me.” I mumbled, leaning my head against his shoulder.

“I do.”

We watched the rest of the fireworks together. Grayson was slowly rubbing my back, giving my ass a squeeze every couple of times.

“Happy 4th of July, baby.”

“Happy 4th of July.”

Grant Gustin has liked you for a while now, ever since you two were introduced on the set of The Flash during season two. It was now time to film season four of the DC show.

You weren’t big on the show, maybe a hero that would come up and every now and again, but with Grant’s character ‘Barry’ now gone, your character is now much bigger.

You and Candice sat in makeup, talking and getting ready for the new scene. You and Candice have grown close to one anther over the past few weeks, having many scenes together. One thing you two had bonded over was of course- Grant Gustin himself. Candice and Danielle would constantly tease you about having a crush on Grant, but every time they did you would deny any accusation, but of course they were right.

You did like Grant, but you knew it was wrong since you two were co-workers, friends. You couldn’t be anything more than that, or it would ruin your friendship. Even with Grant not filming as much anymore, he was still always on set.

“Y/N!” You heard your name being called from somewhere behind you. Looking in the mirror you saw Grant, the man of the hour, jogging up to you and Candice. From the corner of your eye you could see the actress smirking at you. You rolled your eyes, and got up from your chair to meet Grant. The brunette boy smiled at her, his dimples making your stomach tighten.

You shook off the feeling and smiled at him. “What’s up, Grant?”

He shrugged. “I uh- was just wondering if you wanted to maybe- um..” Before grant could finish his sentence you were called out onto set. She sighed as she looked at Grant.

“I’m sorry.” You said as you started to back up, “We can finish this when I’m done shooting!” You slightly yelled as you jogged off to where you were needed. Grant huffed. He just wanted to ask you out, but every time he was about to you two were interrupted.

He watched from behind the filming crew as you did your job. You were an amazing actress, and he was just happy he got to work with you. Before season four, you were hardly ever on set, maybe every once in a great blue moon to do a team up, but other than that you were always guess staring on Arrow or DC’ s Legends of Tomorrow. You were kind of all over the place.

Just about thirty minutes later you were done shooting the needed scenes for that time period and then started heading to your dressing room. Grant caught sight of you and jogged up to you.

“Y/N/N! Hey, we didn’t finish our conversation.” Grant said as he slowed his pace next to you. You turned your head a bit and smiled softly at him.

“Right, right, sorry. Continue.” You continued o walking.

Grant coughed slightly. “So uh- as I was saying, I was wondering if you’d maybe like to hang out tonight? With me?” Your heart started to beat faster. Was he actually asking you out on a date? Or was he just asking to hang out as friends.

Turning your head, you smiled and nodded. Maybe it was just a as friends, there was no way he actually wanted to go out with you… right? Grant’s face lit up though, a big, goofy grin stretching across his face. As he went to say something else you were pulled away by your hair and makeup artists, going to get ready for the next session of filming.

You weren’t done filming until 10:00 p.m. You had several wardrobe changes and makeup changes, but in between every break, you couldn’t get away long enough to go find Grant.

Maybe he left. You thought to yourself. As you were packing up, Candice came skipping over to you, smiling like an idiot. “You, me, clubbing all night.” She said all giggly. You groaned. You weren’t really in the mood for clubbing, and you weren’t even really sure if you and Grant were even still on for tonight.

Sighing you shook your head. ”I’m not really up for it, Candice. Plus, Grant I were supposed to hang out tonight, but I don’t even think e’s here anymore.” Candice smirked. “We were going to hang out as friends, Candice. I don’t even think he likes me the way I like him.” You sigh, crossing your arms over your chest.

“Oh no, I’m pretty sure he’s still here.” Candice smirked and nodded behind you.”Good luck.” She patted your shoulder before skipping away, giggling at her two favorite people finally ‘going out on a date’. You turned around to see Grant walking up to you with a single rose in his hands. You smiled softly, not being able to help the blush that crept up your cheeks. Grant stood in front of you, wearing a pair of blue jeans, and a nice t-shirt with a jacket over it. He smiled at you as he handed you the flower. You took it with a smile on your face.

Why was he doing this if you were just hanging out as friends? You wondered.

“Here I thought you had left, Mr. Gustin.” You chuckled softly. “I thought you left earlier.” You admitted.

Grant shook his head. “Nope, well I did, but to get you that rose. I was going to buy an entire bouquet but they’re so expensive.” He laughed softly, making you smile. The two of you walked out to where both of your cars were parked and sighed. “So, I was thinking maybe we could go get some ice-cream or frozen yogurt? And just walk around for a bit? I don’t know, I hadn’t actually planned this out all the way.” You laughed and nodded.

“That sounds great. Let me just put this stuff in my car and then we can walk to the frozen yogurt shop?” You said, unlocking your car and throwing your stuff inside. You grabbed some cash and then locked the car again, turning to  Grant. “Alright, let’s go.” You smiled. Grant nodded and the two of you started to walk down to the frozen yogurt shop. On the way there you two talked about the upcoming filming sessions, characters that may be coming into play, your lives outside of the show.

Grant had learned that you loved to read, but then again anyone could have guessed that since there is almost always a book on your chair or in your dressing room. You had also learned that Grant made his own YouTube videos. That was a surprise to you. Sure, you knew he could sing and everything, but you never would have guessed Grant Gustin would have a YouTube channel.

You and Grant walked into the Frozen Yogurt shop, the little bell chiming as the two of you walked in. There wasn’t anyone there, besides the employees of course, but you and Grant were the only customers.

Your eyes landed on the cups that would have the Yogurt in them. You walked over to them and picked out a medium sized cup. With the cups were different things that you could put onto the bottom of your cup. There were cookies, brownies, gram cracker crumbs, Teddy Grams, and Oreo bits. You put some Oreo crumbs on the bottom of your cup before walking over to the many machine’s that held the yogurt. (think ITop It). You put Vanilla, chocolate, and of course Oreo flavoring into your cup. Grant was just putting whatever flavor he liked into the cups. You chuckled softly before walking over to the rows of toppings. You decided to go with white chocolate chips and chunks of Oreo on the top.

Grant walked over to you, smiling. He had at least five different flavors in his cup. He puts loads of toppings on. Ranging from sprinkles, to different fruits. All you could do was laugh at him and his child like behavior.  It cam time to pay for your treats. You each weighed your cups, Grant’s obviously being the heaviest. Thankfully, if you had a cup over two pounds you got one cup free. You paid for yours, although Grant had argued that it was no big deal if he paid for yours, you still did t. The idea of someone else paying for your own treat made you a bit upset.

After grabbing a set of spoon you and Grant exited the shop and started your journey around town. The two of you ate you yogurt, smiling at one another when ever you’d catch the other staring at you.

“So, how’s being the new face of ‘The Flash’?” Grant asked, taking another bite of his frozen treat.

“It’s fun, a bit stressful, to be honest. But no one can take the place of Barry Allen.” You chuckled. “But it is fun.” You smile. “How does it feel to be on the sidelines?”

Grant shrugged. “A lot less stressful than being on camera 24/7, but I do miss it.” You nodded, understanding his feelings.

The two of you walked around town for a little while longer before deciding to head back to the car. As the two of you walked, Grant abruptly stopped, taking your hand and turning you towards him. You gave him a nervous look, wondering what his sudden action was about. He seemed nervous as well, his eyes kept glances back and forth from your eyes to your nose and to your nose to your lips. It only took you a short time to wrap your head around the fact that Grant was debating on kissing you. Gathering up your courage you closed the space between the two of you, you faces so close you could feel his breathe fanning your face.

Grant took your action as the ‘go ahead’ signal to kiss you. His lips fell onto yours quickly, in a needy, but passionate kiss. Your lips seemed to mold to his, as the two of you moved as one together. His hands fell to yours hips, holding you close to him as you held the back of his neck, keeping him close to you.

It only took a few more minutes for the two of you to pull away, breathing heavily with swollen lips. You hadn’t realized that you had your eyes closed the entire time, even when you had pulled away. Your Y/E/C eyes fluttered open, looking with Grant’s glowing green orbs. The two of you smiled softly at each other, still holding onto one another.

“I really like you, Y/N.” Grant breathed out. “Hell, I think I love you.” Your heart skipped a beat. Did he mean it?

You let out a heavy breathe, “Grant I have waited so long for you to say that. You have no idea how hard it was for me to see you and Candice acting like a couple. Kissing, hugging, holding each other. I wanted that to be me so badly. I wanted to say something but I didn’t want to ruin-”Grant quickly cut off your rambling with another kiss, making you smile against his lips.

“It can be you now, here, in real life.” He said softly. His hand brushed your cheek and you gently leaned into his touch. You nodded, accepting his words. He let out a happy breathe, his lips cracking into a smile. You couldn’t help yourself and smile as well, the sight in front of you making your heart swell. “I should probably take you back to your car, it’s getting late and cold.” Grant said. You frowned but nodded. You wanted to stay with him for the rest of the night.

You two walked back to where your car was pared, hands intertwined with one another’s. You were happy that the person you had lied for so long was finally yours. When you got your car you sighed, running a hand through your hair. You didn’t want Grant to leave you, you wanted him to come with you to talk and cuddle in your bed, to keep each other warm as you slept.

“Stay with me tonight.” You say quickly. Grant’s eyes widen. “I-I want you stay with me at my place tonight.” I stumble out. Grant’s silence worried you. Did he not want to stay at your place? Did he not want to take that big of a step so quickly? You quickly regretted saying anything, but when Grant nodded and smiled your worries seemed to wash away. You let out a relieved sigh. Unlocking the car you walked to the driver’s side and got in, starting up the engine and waiting for Grant to get in.

As you drove Grant kept his hand on your inner thigh, rubbing his thumb over the material of your clothes. You couldn’t stop the heat pooling your core. You wanted him so bad. Grant seemed to want you as well, since you could see his semi-hard on through his jeans. You picked up the speed, making it back to your home within minutes.

The two of you got out of the vehicle quickly, knowing that you both needed each other at that very moment. You fumbled with your house keys before unlocking the front door and pushing it open, rushing inside with Grant hot on your heels. When you closed the door, Grant had already pushed you against the wooden frame, his lips greedily pushing against yours. You moaned a little at the force of the kiss. Both yours and Grant’s hands tugged at each other’s clothes, ripping off your coats and then shirts. You kicked off your shoes, Grant following your motions.

“Jump.” Grant breathed out, lips ghosting over your ear. You did as told, jumping and wrapping your legs around his lower back. He caught you quickly, wrapping his arms under your thighs and pulling your clothed crotch onto his. You both moaned at the feeling of the smallest taste of friction. Grant walked the two of you up the stairs, finding his way to your bedroom. Once you two were in your room he dropped you onto your bed and sat up to take his jeans off. You quickly did the same, not wanting to waste anymore time.

Grant watched you, hypnotized as you slipped out of your jeans so easily. You blushed once you caught his gaze, your skin turning a light shade of red. He chuckled, crawling over you, laying you flat on your back. You mentally cursed yourself for not wearing a more colorful bra or underwear set, but then again you didn’t know this was going to happen. Grant’s hands grazed your sides, slipping under your bra and undoing the clip with ease. You were definitely surprised he had done that so easily, since everyone else had a much harder time.

Once Grant had dropped your bra onto the ground you absentmindedly covered your chest. Grant frowned, not understanding why you were being so self-conscious all of a sudden. His hands fell onto yours gently, moving your hands away from your chest.

“You don’t have to cover yourself in front of me, Y/N/N. I think you’re beautiful.” Grant nuzzled his face into your neck, your Y/H/C hair being pushed to the other side. You couldn’t help but smile as he pressed gentle kisses along your neck and under your ear. He moved down, leaving a trail of hickies and  love bites down your chest. His lips latched around each of your nipples, swirling the hardening bud between his teeth for a few minutes before going over to the other one and repeating the process. When he felt like he was done with your nipples he moved further down South, leaving the same trail down your skin.

Grant looked at you, his eyes asking if he could take off your last piece of clothing. You nodded, sucking your bottom lip in between your teeth in anticipation. Grant slid two fingers through your wet folds, before pushing them deep into your cunt. You moaned out loud, slightly arching your back from the bed. Grant smirked, watching your facial expressions change every time he would curl his fingers inside of you.

You couldn’t take it any longer. You wanted Grant now.

When Grant slipped his fingers from inside you, you took the chance to flip your positions. Your body on top of his. A small smirk spread across his face as he watched you take over from there. You moved your hands down to his boxer briefs, slightly palming him through the fabric. He let out a low grunt, shut his eyes for only a second before looking at you again. You winked at the man underneath you before sliding his boxers off and throwing them with the rest of the clothes. His length was hard against your inner thigh, and the small feeling of your skin against his made both of you moan.

Not wanting to waste more time, you sat on your knees, thighs spread out over Grant’s crotch. You tugged at him a few times before pushing him into you. Grant’s hands flew to your hips, helping you steady yourself as you were lowered onto his cock. He stretched you out, filling you and molding your walls perfectly. After you had adjusted you started to move up and down his length, moaning every time he was pushed back into you. It felt amazing to say the least. His tip would hit your g-spot, causing the both of you to grunt or let out a string of curse words. His hands dug into your sides, or moved to your ass and grabbed handfuls of the soft flesh. You would no doubt have bruises in the morning.

Your pace picked up, your skin slapping down onto Grant’s with each thrust of your body. Your hands held tightly onto Grant’s biceps, giving you leverage as you thrusted your body onto him. He grunted your name over and over again, pulling your chest down onto his so he could meet your lips with his.  You moaned against his mouth, giving him the perfect chance to slide his tongue into your mouth. You let his tongue roam your mouth, massaging your tongue and running over every little crevice inside your mouth.

Neither of you were really vocal, you were to lost in the pleasure to even think of any words to say besides his name. When Grant realized that you were getting tired he flipped the two of you over again, hooking one leg over his shoulder and wrapped the other around his back. The new angle gave him a better opportunity to thrust deeper into your pussy.

You moaned loudly as he did so, thrusting quickly and roughly, seeming to go deeper each time he plunged back in. You thought you were getting to loud so you covered your mouth, biting the skin on your hand to try and quiet yourself. Grant moved your hand though, and held it above your head.

“Let everything out baby, I want everyone to hear how good I’m making you feel.” He groaned. You obliged, moaning and cursing each time you felt him go deeper or hit your sweet spot.

It didn’t take long for his own thrusts to slow and become sloppy. You knew he was getting to his end and he knew you were getting to yours.

“Fuck, Grant I’m about to cum.” You gasped. Grant nodded, locking his lips with yours before he stopped his thrusts, his cock twitching inside you as he came with a loud grunt against your lips. His orgasm set off yours, and the feeling of being so connected to one another amplified every thing you were feeling for him.

When your body relaxed, Grant slipped out of you and laid down next to you, running his hands down your hot flesh. You turned your head, smiling softly at him. He looked so handsome in the dim light, with his hair stuck to his forehead due to the seat that trickled down his face. You liked -no loved- the sight in front of you. he returned the smile, pulling your face to his and placing a small, but soft kiss onto your forehead.

“I love you Grant, I have for such a long time.” you whispered. You looked up at Grant through your eyelashes and blushed when he smiled down at you. Something about him made you feel all giddy and excited inside.

“I love you too, Y/N.” He mumbled. You smiled and gave him one last kiss before the two of you fell asleep in ach other’s arms.

AUTHOR’S NOTE: you ever hear a song and a little light goes off in your head? Well, that’s what happened when I heard this song on the radio. And here is what I came up with. It’s super sappy and long because I hate myself, tbh.

He was dragged to the club. He hadn’t been in years and he was already starting to feel annoyed at the sight of all the younger people acting like it was their last night on earth.

Sebastian’s friends nudged him over to he a VIP booth and while he walked around moving bodies he managed to bump into you. Your drink spilled over top of the glass and you laughed. Sebastian’s eyes widened and he opened his mouth but nothing came out.

Even in the dark he was able to take in your beauty. You lit him up. You made him feel real again. Suddenly, the world didn’t exist.

“If you’re going to say sorry; it’s okay.” You laughed.

Your smile managed to knock a breath out of him and he blinked. “Yeah-Yeah I… Sorry.”

The Hand that Flannels Part 2 (Jared Kleinman X Male Reader)

WARNINGS: smmutttttt, gay as shit smut too. Swearing and breakfast club.

Because a few people requested it. I don’t write sequels a lot but I need more Male Reader stuff so this seemed like a good idea?

You sat on the couch with Jared, admittedly closer than most platonic friends would be comfortable. You were watching Breakfast Club- or rather, you were pretending to watch Breakfast Club. All you’d thought about for two days was that kiss after the party; and what it could’ve lead to if it had the chance. You’d invited him to yours to educate him on how great 80’s movies were. He had started by making fun of what you’d refered to as a classic and it’s cheesy acting, but as soon as Judd Nelson was being shouted at in the closet, he’d started getting into it.

It was honestly more fun to watch him rather than the film itself, he was so expressive and excitable. It was embarrassingly a turn on for you as he bit his lip and raised his eyebrows at every emotional scene. It was during the sharing circle that he absentmindedly placed his hand in your leg; and once you both noticed there was an awkward pause. He glanced at you and you both let out a nervous laugh; “hey… Is this a date?” Jared whispered quietly and you looked away, “what?” Your voice goes higher than you intend to act surprised and Jared laughs, “you ask me round to your place, put on a movie and sit close to me… It feels like a date.” He sounds arrogant and if anything it just turns you on more.

He’s grinning and moves his hand further up, you can’t physically look at him out of embarrassment. He leans in, “you’re a little more nervous when your sober… Is this ok?” He was so close to your ear that the hairs on the back of your neck stand to attention. You turn to face him and your eyes flick briefly to his lips and you nod, “are you gonna kiss me?” You ask. He suddenly looks a little nervous as he slowly presses his lips against yours. It’s soft and your heart jumps into your throat. You bring your hand to the back of his neck and his hand runs up your leg as you lean back and let him lye on top of you. He’s trying to be tender as his mouth opens and you let his tongue slip in.

You feel his fingers tug up your shirt and you sit up to pull it over your head; face flushed as you lye shirtless under him. His eyes graze over you and start unbuttoning his top, sliding it off his shoulders and breaking away from him to kiss down his neck and chest. He grabs your chin and forces you to look up, “I’ve never been with a guy- with anyone before.” He admits into your ear. You shake your head, “it’s ok. Honestly- if you’re uncomfortable…” But he’s kissing your earlobe and down your jaw, “no… I want… I want to…” His free hand reaches down and unbuttons your jeans and pulls them down.

You squeeze your eyes shut, “J-Jared?” You’re breathy and can feel yourself going lightheaded as his hand reaches under your boxers. As he strokes the tent forming in your pants you make a light guttural moan. You can feel him smiling and you almost twitch as he bites lightly, “are you sure that you’ve never done this?” You let out a breathy laugh and he lowers himself to your crotch, “I watch a lot of porn.”

As soon as you go to make a snide comment he takes you in his mouth and you hum; pulling your own hair as your feel his lips around you. He finds his timing slow and teasing, his tongue gliding along the bottom of your shaft and sucking lightly. You whine incoherently as his hand creeps up your stomach to your chest and lightly scratch down. Muttering his name you buck your hips and he presses his hands into you to keep you down. He picks up speed and you start to become undone, grabbing at the sofa and his hair, pleading with him and not entirely being sure why.

You look down to see him with his hand down his own pants, moving slowly on himself and you’re breath stutters, “I could do that… If you like.” You’re gasping and he just speeds up. You groan loudly and pull his hair, “Jared- let me… Do this for… Oh god… For you.” You’re begging, but he’s ignoring you, jerking himself off as you start to lose control.

You’re hips Buck again as all your senses diminish, “b-b-baby. I’m gonna…” You’re almost shouting as you completely forget any inhibitions. You cum into his mouth and down his throat, not realising your ragged voice is calling his name until you stop. He swallows and wipes his mouth with the back of his hand and sits up, still touching himself. You watch through hooded eyes before you move onto the floor in front of him to pull his shorts and boxers down, batting his hand away as you lick the base of his dick and start sucking intently. He lets out a high pitch moan through his teeth as he goes deeper in your mouth.

“I- won’t- last.” He’s panting, and you look up to see his cheeks flushed and his glasses completely fogged over. He actually looks pretty adorable and as you try not to giggle you hum, sending vibrations up him and causing him to convulse. The head of his dick pushes against the back of your throat and you fight your gag reflex and his fists ball in your hair, whining as you pick up the pace.

“Holy shit, baby.” He covers his face with his hands and you can hear him panting as the taste of precum hits, “I’m cumming.” He cried out, pulling your hair and squeezing his eyes closed as a jet of cum streamed into your mouth and burned the back of your throat. You wince a little as you swallow, pulling away from him and looking up at the wreck of a boy in front of you, sweating and still lightly convulsing.

You sit next to him and wrap your arms around his stomach, “was that ok?” You ask quietly and he nods, “it was amazing- I mean, you were just…” He stares off into the distance looking for words and you chuckle, “you too.” You lean into each other and as you rest your head you hear him giggle.

He wriggles his eyebrows “this was totally a date.” You snort and squeeze your arms around him.

“And to think…” He continued, “I only came here to get my flannel back.” He tried to sound disinterested and you shove him, “you suck, Kleinman.” You laugh as he kisses you cheek, “apparently, so do you.”

June 30: Ships that pass in the night (Chapter Ten)

Title: Ships that pass in the night (Chapter Ten)
Tags: Alternate Timeline, AU, Slow burn, stranger to friends, friends to lovers
Words: 3973
Dan and Phil are YouTubers. The catch? They’ve never met, and Phil doesn’t want them to.

Prompt: This is late. I know. But here are some reasons why: Squidge moved in. The internet went down in my entire area. I was really tired yesterday. I was tired because I woke up sick today. I had tickets to see Carrie Hope Fletcher in Addams Family and I had to go to that. So here is it, a little after midnight UK time but… finished. It’s also the longest chapter so far so hopefully that makes up for it.

Also the exact nature of these plot points might have evolved in this chapter because I’m ill. Write what you know and all that. But the reason for the scenes stays the same I just changed the conditions they happened in. I actually prefer this so hey, there’s an upside to being ill.

Chris Evans for W Magazine: The 2016 Royals

Chris Evans’ start in Hollywood wasn’t so auspicious. From his infamous scene inNot Another Teen Movie to playing “Harvard Hottie” in The Nanny Diaries, starring his future co-star Scarlett Johansson, he’s enjoyed a slow burn rise to the top. “I’m glad that I didn’t you know come out of the gates with the first thing being some huge critically-acclaimed success. It’s been very nice and educational,” he says. For the past five years, he’s been known to us as Captain America, one of the most classic roles in the Marvel universe, which is why it made sense to pair him with a new arrival to the superhero genre, Chiwetel Ejiofor, in our annuals Royals package. Here, he talks about his rise in Hollywood, from the his very first part in high school to his roles in the cult-favorite Snowpiercer and the upcoming Gifted.

You’d been working as an editor for Achievement Hunter for a few months now, mostly working on the Minecraft Let’s Plays and Let’s Watch. Let’s Watch was a pretty easy series to edit as most of the time you were just cutting the audio into sync. It was a slow day in the BTS office so you were sitting in the corner on a bean bag chair reading one of your favourite books.

Calum x Reader

Part 1

“God damn I forgot how awful parking is at this school.” I whispered to myself, looking out my car window. The parking lot, if I could even call it that, was about 8 spaces in front of the main office and then a line of cars parked on the side walks. Nobody liked to park in the back of the school since it wasn’t a close walk into hell, but I used to just because it was easier to get in and get out. I started shaking behind the wheel turning off the ignition. I took deep breathes but nothing could calm down my nerves at this moment. I was going to be reliving the moment I met Calum, which still scared me to the bone. My mind was still trying to map out how this situation came to be, but now on top of that I was remeeting the love of my life, and I had to make sure it went the same way it did 3 years ago.

I walked into the hallways trying to find fimiliar faces, but nobody seemed to pop out at me as someone that I needed in my life for good. Maybe that’s my own fault, because I never made the effort to talk to anyone seriously except for Calum and his group of friends. The only other person I thought of was Calum’s best friend since birth, Marissa. It clicked in my brain that I needed to meet her first, because she was the one that ‘helped’ introduce me to Calum, after I first made a huge fool out of myself. I still slightly remember my locker number and schedule, so there was no need trying to find my classes and locker. Instead, I looked for her, and there was one place I knew she would be.

With 10 minutes until the bell rings, I found Marissa inside the band room playing her guitar and singing a song with her few friends surrounding her, but none of the boys were there. A huge weight off my shoulders was lifted. If I wanted this to go smoothly, then everything would have to go the way it did the first time with no mess ups.

I smiled to myself hearing her voice again, it was a voice you’d hear on those singing shows, and the judges would all say yes. I don’t believe she ever pursued it though, she had amazing smarts, as I have witnessed in classes, so from what I remember Calum telling me was that she went to Law School, and after that bit of information I haven;t heard of her name since.

She looked over at me with her big brown eyes and set down her guitar and walked over to me, just like the first time I met her.

“Like what you hear?” She asked playfully.

“Yeah, you got a great voice. Have you ever thought of taking that talent to the big screen? Like The Voice or something?” She shook her head with a smile.

“No, it’s not my passion. Just something that keeps the stress away.”

“I feel it girl.” We both smiled at each other before her hand fell out of her crossed arms and reached for me.

“Y/N.” We both shook hands, and as if on que, the bell rang for the first last day of hell.

“What’s your homeroom?” She asked grabbing her stuff.

“How convienent.” She said throwing her school bag over her shoulder. “So is mine.”

The whole day dragged on, as it was suppose to. Back then I didn’t know today would be the day I met Calum, so I was more anxious today then a year ago. I was antipcating the moment I’d see his glowing brown skin and the jawline that could slice me in half, which made the day go by even slower. I didn’t have any classes with him, just occasionally passed him in the hall, but today I unfortunately didn’t do that.

As we got out ending our first day as seniors, Marissa tugged on my hand and stopped me in my tracks abruptly.

“I’m meeting up with some of my friends in a band and then heading over to watch them film a music video, you should come with and be a part of it!” It was all falling into place from here on out. I pretended as if I didn’t want to, even though inside I was shaking with antipication.

“No no, I’m not even their friend to begin with. It wouldn’t feel right being in their music video not knowing them at all.”

“You’re so stupid and proper c’mon.” She chuckled and grabbed me by my arm leading me to where it all began.

Marissa threw the door open setting her bag down on the sofa in the living room. She was very comfortable with the boys, she could walk into their houses and eat all their food and sit in their jacuzzi for hours by herself and they wouldn’t have a problem with it.

I looked around the house smiling to myself at the old memories left here. We were at Luke’s house where this video would be filmed. It actually became one of their biggest hits; Amnesia. They had said they wanted a nostalgic feel to it, not something too depressing, but still not too happy. In the end after all the editing it would look like the boys were having flashbacks to the good ole days before all the fame they received, while they jumped into pools fully clothed and road out in canyons to watch the night sky.

“Y/N!” I snapped out of my daze seeing Marissa waving at me to follow her out back to meet the guys. My palms began sweating, and with each step I took my heart starting beating just a bit faster.

“Stop being so slow I have some people I wanna introduce you to.” She said winking at me and walking beside me. That’s when, I saw him.

He was smiling with a drink in his hand and his other hand in his pocket. He was too busy laughing at something Michael said to realize we were approaching him, which was perfect for how I remember things going down. I’d look like an idiot, but this is exactly how it has to happen if I didn’t want to mess up the future of our relationship. I let Marissa walked a little bit ahead of me and saw the dreaded guitar case lying on the ground, the neck of the guitar facing me horizontally.

Calum you better fall in love with me the second time for this.

It was the last thought I had in my brain as I purposefuly tripped over the guitar and caught onto Calum’s belt loop of his jeans, pulling him down with me. How it orginally happened was I was trying to find balance or attach onto something that would stop me from completely falling and smashing my face open. Calum was the closest person so without thinking I grabbed onto him, but it didn’t even go as planned. He ended up falling backwards with me, spilling his drink all over himself and a little on me, and smacking his back against the floor. After the fall he was fuming and soaked, but once he looked into my eyes for the first time, his body instantly softened, and his lips broke into a slight smile.

“Oh my gosh I’m so sorry! I was trying to find my balance and-“ I dramatically yelled trying to apologize for my fall. He cut me off and shrugged his shoulders as if it was nothing, but if it was anyone else, maybe even Marissa or the boys, he’d be pissed.

“No worries, it’s just a drink. And I’m a lot stronger than I look, I can take a fall.” I laughed my cute laugh and tried to play off my embarassment…for the second time.

“Calum.” He held out his hand to pull me up.

“Y/N.” He beamed a smile at me, still holding onto my hand. I bit my lip before looking down and untangeling our hands slowly. I walked passed him slowly, trying to look for Marissa. But before I was too far, I looked back at Calum again to find him still smiling my way with his glossy eyes and damped tshirt. I tried to act innocent, by lowering my head and blushing, and walked off faster smiling at my achievement.

I’m sorry this part is pretty shit until the end, it’s still introducing the story but it will pick up I promise! Thank you so much for the overwhelming love given daily.

Let's Play a Game!

“Hey Jennnnnnnnn,” Misha says, drawing out Jensen’s nickname with a mischievous glint in his tone. “Wanna play a game?"

Jensen turns to him as Misha saunters over, placing the book in his hand down onto one of the bunker’s tables and regards him with a wary look.

"What kind of game?” Jensen asks, grabbing his water bottle off of the table top and taking a long swig.

“Gay chicken,” Misha states plainly with a grin and Jensen almost spits his water everywhere.

“Do I even want to know what the hell that is?” Jensen asks, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand and Misha huffs out a laugh.

“Well, it’s really simple, actually. Two friends of the same-sex stand close to one another and they both lean in as if they’re about to kiss and the first one to pull away, is gay,” Misha explains, lips tilting up into a smirk.

“What happens if…  uh neither of them pull away?” Jensen asks, with a cough trying to remain casual about this.

“Then they end up making out,” Misha shrugs. He’s trying to act like this isn’t some kind of trick to get Jensen to kiss him. Okay, it’s not a trick, not really, but Misha really fucking wants to kiss Jensen. And he can’t just walk up to one of his best friends, grab his shirt, push him up against a wall and kiss him senseless. So he has to get creative.

Bellarke Crossfades & Film Technique

Okay, so, first off, this is entirely my friend Danni’s fault. She’s gotten me obsessed with the cinematography of the show and how it supports the narrative and so I decided to dig into how that applies to the patented Bellarke Crossfades™ and how they’re narratively significant. Disclaimer, this is built on my own long ago history with video editing and a bunch of reading I’ve been doing recently. It’s not like I’m an expert in this field.

Alright, now that we’ve all been thoroughly disclaimed, WHEEEEE! Here we go.
