Jonathan is preparing dinner when an unexpected visitor shows up to the apartment he shares with Steve and Nancy. Content warning: Language, violence, implied abuse, Lonnie is a homophobe. For @dadharbour who sent in the title and therefore inspired this.
Jonathan hummed along to the radio as he rummaged around in the fridge trying to visualize something appetizing in the haphazard assortment of food that remained on the near-empty shelves. They’d have to go to the grocery store soon; maybe tomorrow, if Steve or Nancy objected to the pizza he’d likely propose ordering.
A crown of broccoli, browning at the edges, caught his eye, followed by a lone onion next to the milk carton and half a green pepper Nancy had left behind from her snack earlier in the day. Stir-fry seemed a good option. Jonathan quickly gathered the vegetables in his arms and set to work, chopping away on the engraved cutting board that had been his Christmas gift from Steve.
Cooking had always been a pleasure for Jonathan, a distraction from issues in his life he’d rather not deal with, a way to show his appreciation to the people he loved without ever having to speak a word. It was also difficult to deny how much he enjoyed the swell of pride in his chest whenever he saw the satisfied looks on Nancy and Steve’s faces after a meal he had prepared. Cooking was, Jonathan believed, his most important contribution to their odd arrangement.
The onions had only just started to sizzle in the pan when Jonathan heard a heavy knock on the door and glanced through the kitchen’s open archway to the entryway on the other side of the living room, his eyebrows knitting together. It was impossible that Steve and Nancy were knocking—Steve had taken his keys to pick Nancy up from the library—and they didn’t get many visitors. Sometimes Max would show up, sometimes at odd hours, though she usually called to say she was coming.
This may have been discussed before but your earlier post made me wonder; if keyleth WAS a dragon what kind would she be? I would be inclined to think either brass or silver. brass because they treasure conversations and story, and one day stories will be all that she has left of her friends; or silver because they tend to find value in relics or old civilizations, which i feel keyleth would have personal connection to as she grows older - anything to help remind her of earlier times.
I’m not super up to date on my dragon lore but personally I’d say silver. They’ve got all the social interest of the brass plus an altruistic streak a mile wide and an interest in history and memory that pairs well with Keyleth’s longevity and her unofficial position as party notetaker.
plus like, “Silver dragons believe that living a moral life involves doing good deeds and ensuring that one’s actions cause no undeserved harm to other sentient beings” that’s just Keyleth in a nutshell

Ashdjdjdj Cas would be so protective of Dean !!! Like Dean would obviously be a little shit and terrorize the other wolves in the pack, getting himself into so much trouble, but Castiel the Great Pack Alpha would step in save this demonic goat's life every time, despite being pissed that Dean refuses to stay out of trouble
Their whole relationship would be like “Dean, NO.” “DeanYES”
Dean would be the absolute trouble MASTER, the most sassy punk sheep ever. And Cas would glare at him a lot but deep down he would love this rebellious man so much. Even if he has to abuse his power as the pack Alpha to get his ass out of trouble. Dean would still have to work to earn his complete forgiveness, of course. But Cas would know that it has to be hard to be a sheep living in the pack of wolves, and that Dean HAS to be a little bit more aggressive to show his place in the hierarchy. ( Hell, he would be so proud of him the first time Dean kicked someone’s ass because they were super disrespectful and rude. That’s his demon goat, fighting for himself )
“I believe Liechtenstein and England would be good friends with each other. Liechtenstein is calm and polite, but she isn’t afraid to speak her mind. Meanwhile, England has a hot temper, but he also prides himself as a gentleman. Just imagine them meeting up for some tea and casual talk, too! Or perhaps sewing and just having a good time, in general. England could maybe even teach her how to dance. So yes, I believe they could be great friends.“
Okay I LOVE the Wolf!Cas/Werewolf!Dean AU. How old was Dean when he was bitten? Also it's sounds like it could be super angsty and fluffy.
Hello, Nonnie! awfegrhsjtdyfug I am super happy to hear that
❤︎ Is extremely angsty; Castiel can save Dean from his pack, but he can’t do much to save him from himself. And Dean hates what he had become. Dean is around 25 when he’s bitten and brought to Cas, the wound still fresh on his arm. Cas can smell the wrongness on him, the rotten stench of dark magic, stronger that the copper-sweet smell of his blood. But he looks at the young pale face, and finds himself unable to take Dean’s life. He knows he should do it, that’s his responsibility as a pack alpha, he should do it now, when the young man is still unconscious and unaware of what had he become. Castiel killed many before, his hands will be covered in blood forever; and yet, he can’t do it now. So he decides to protect Dean and to protect others from Dean. Werewolves are incredibly strong, that’s true, but they still can’t take down an alpha wolf. So Castiel promises to spend the full moons with Dean, deep in the woods, where he can’t hurt anyone.
