“At first I didn’t want to play Skyrim but then my friend explained that it has werewolves, vampires, cannibals, giant rats, zombies, sabretooth cats, thieves, assassins, and dragons. After that I have played for so many hours it is scary.”
Sapphire and Serana have the most tragic back stories that make me want to curl up in a corner and cry. SO… I decided to give them a happier ending…with each other.
And my head canon (in an AU) with this is Serana and Sapphire would actually understand each other, due to having such traumatic pasts, and grow close. Serana would then give up her vampirism because that was a part of her past and Sapphire would be a part of her future.
There is no good word for the opposite of lonesome. One might be tempted to suggest togetherness or contentment, but the fact that these two other words bear definitions unrelated to each other perfectly displays why lonesome cannot be properly mirrored. It does not mean solitude, nor alone, nor lonely, although lonesome can contain all those words in itself. Lonesome means a state of being a p a r t. Of being o t h e r. A l o n e - s o m e.
