thief stone

“I’m sure the Library will be in good hands.”

Severus Snape my (the?) hero in “Harry Potter”

At the beginning of Harry Potter: Many of us, Harry Potter & co. included, thought that the potential thief of the stone would be none other than the potions master: Severus Snape. In “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”, Snape spent a majority of his time being downright nasty to Harry and his buddies. In “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” we learn that Snape has been doing some double agent sort of work for the Order of the Phoenix, but can we really trust him? Then, Snape does the unthinkable. He kills Dumbledore. Many were filled with anger toward this horrid betrayal.

Only at the end we recognised he a hero was. And not just any hero… Severus became the immediate enemy of James Potter and Sirius Black and was a frequent victim of their bullying. James and his buddies were always thinking up new and creative ways to make Snape’s life terrible. I still ask myself: why were James and Sirius Black not in Slytherin? Why has one done nothing against the harassment? Which human size must own Snape to protect Harry? Despite his hatred for Harry’s father, Snape’s love for Harry’s mother was so strong that he would do anything to keep Harry alive, even sacrifice himself.

Snape in the film also lives on the Rickman effect. From his voice, from his present tense, from his gestures… and his aura! And Snape was sexy… also and just because of Alan!!! With Snape he has put to itself a monument!

I finished a few Primal Stone necklaces and phone charms! I’m not the best at jewellery making and the holes were in a strange place, but I used my tools and beading wire to make small loops to attach to chains and split rings. If you would like one, please let me know which one you want. The one on the far left is on a rubber “wire”, the other three (top row) are on silver coloured chains I had fun with these! I think I’ll keep one for myself too

Scene from the Extended Version of and the Crown of King Arthur, with Jake accusing Ezekiel of betraying them.

People are built, not born. Give me a baby, and I’ll make it climb and use its hands in constructing buildings of stone or wood. I’ll make it a thief, a gunman or a dope fiend. The possibilities of shaping in any direction are almost endless.
